Chapter 2354
The Protector levi garrison
Chapter 2354 Defensive Limit
After a few days, Levi appeared again, not because he had any significant breakthrough, though, but because Sacred Organization contacted him.
They told him that, the representatives from Maya Industries wanted to meet him and talk about working together.
That was the reason why Levi resurfaced.
He needed to think about it before he gave them an answer.
As soon as he made an appearance, Phoenix and the lot immediately came looking for him.
âBoss, how much have you improved after all the hard work youâve put in?â Kirin asked.
âThatâs not important! Whatâs important is he made an effort!â Azure Dragon said.
âBoss, come with us to Garrison Industry. We have a gift for you!â Everyone said excitedly.
âSure!â
In the end, even Zoey and Floyd tagged along.
Everyone had a strong interest in the special battle suit Garrison Industry produced.
When they reached Garrison Industryâs laboratory, Edmund appeared.
He had been trying to get volunteers recently to test out the battle suitâs defensive capabilities, so he was at Garrison Industryâs headquarter for the past few days.
âHuh? Why are you people here?â Edmund asked.
âWeâre here to get the suit, Sir. Youâve given us your word!â Azure dragon and the others said.
Edmund sneered after seeing Levi. âYou guys wanted the suit for Levi?â
âYes.â
Azure Dragon and the othersâ expressions darkened.
Lying was pointless in that situation.
âI promised you guys because I thought you were going to use it yourself! I wouldâve never said that if I knew it was for an outsider!â Edmund said.
Azure Dragon and the lot went silent as it was a known fact that the battle suit can only be issued to staff members of Garrison Industry.
Outsiders were strictly prohibited.
And from Garrison Industryâs perspective, Levi was an outsider.
According to the rules, he could not have the battle suit.
âSir, I know outsiders canât have it, but our boss is not an outsider!â Phoenix said after he realized something. âHeâs still the founder of Garrison Industry! That makes him at least an internal staff member!â
âThatâs right, Sir! That makes him a staff member!â the others chimed in.
Edmund laughed after hearing that. âThatâs quite a stretch, donât you think? Why donât we let everyone in Garrison Industry vote to that?â
Azure Dragon and the othersâ expressions darkened even more after hearing what Edmund said.
If they did what Edmund said, they knew for a fact that more than eighty percent of Garrison Industryâs staff would not admit that Levi was a part of them.
âThat said, seeing that heâs indeed the founder of Garrison Industry, Iâll give him a chance!â
âThank you, Sir!â everyone exclaimed.
âDonât thank me yet! I have one condition!â
Edmund paused for a brief moment. âIâve been looking for volunteers to test the defensive limit of the battle suitâ¦â
â¦
Hearing that, the excitement on everyoneâs faces immediately faded.
So there was a catch!
âHow about this? Iâll give Levi the suit for free if heâs willing to wear it for our experiment purpose?â Edmund sneered.
âWe canât do that, Sir! Thatâs too dangerous! What if it couldnât withstand the theoretical limit? Wonât the volunteer just get torn apart?â Azure Dragon and the others could not accept the condition.
Edmund nodded. âYouâre right, and thatâs why volunteers are so hard to come by! But for the sake of science, we need someone to do it so that we could obtain the most accurate results!â
âThis wonât do! Weâre not interested in anything life-threatening. Letâs go. We donât need that suit!â
None of the others agreed to Edmundâs condition.
Edmund sneered. âAlright then. I respect your decision.â
âItâs okay! I accept! Let me try that suit out!â Levi exclaimed out of nowhere.
He agreed as he figured it was beneficial to Erudia if the development of the battle suit was a success.
There was no reason for him not to try it out.
