Chapter 1484
The Protector levi garrison
It was an order that doused the fightersâ morale, overcasting the squad with silence.
Each and every member of the Suicide Squad knew jolly well that they wouldnât leave the North alive, but to die an unworthy death was a stake in their pride.
Anyone would recoil from the thought of launching themselves to their own graves like a pawn in a game of chess.
They were humans and not merely a tool.
Despite their reluctance, they kept their rage in check and their lips tightly glued.
After all, they werenât the ones giving commands, and the Four Basilisks were highly capable.
It might be best to just do as told.
âDo I make myself clear? If there are no objections, letâs get the ball rolling!â
Seeing absolute submission, Heracles smiled.
The Four Basilisks were wallowing in this feeling of absolute power.
âObjection!â someone shouted, and shuffling sounds of curiosity ensued.
All eyes were set on the sourceâLevi Garrison.
He was known as Malcolm Langston in the squad, though.
âWas it you?â Heracles looked at Levi.
âYes! We are the Suicide Squad, not the Suicidal Squad! Throwing ourselves ruthlessly at the enemy before knowing their strategies or tactics is suicidal! We are willing to die for the country but in a worthy manner!â
With Leviâs extensive experience as a commander, his capability was way beyond anyone when it came to military tactics.
One can never defeat their enemies till one knows who they really are.
Launching an attack without knowing what the Northern Demon had in place was nothing different from self-immolation.
âGood one! We are the Suicide Squad, not the Suicidal Squad!â
The fighters concurred with Leviâs statement and expressed their like-mindedness with hoots and cheers.
Heracles remained composed and smiled. âWe donât know what the Northern Demon is up to? Thatâs a nice one. Is there anyone on this planet who knows the Northern Demon better than our Master? Not a d*mn soul!
âOur Fusion Attack was contrived to destroy the Northern Demon, and youâre telling us that we donât know a thing about him?â
Heraclesâ defense got people bobbing their head in agreement.
It seemed like acting in accordance with the Four Basilisks was their best bet since they were the ones who knew about the opponent.
âStill, I think your prep work isnât sufficient. It was your Master, who fought the Northern Demon, not you. Do you know who fights alongside him and how many there are?â Levi continued probing.
His questions got them.
âBuzz off! You wanna commit desertion, right? Youâve got the green light. Now scram!â
Heracles was hopping mad. âShould we check who his backing is?â one of the Four Basilisks softly suggested.
âI will not abandon my military duty! Since Iâve committed myself to be here, I shall not return till the Northern Demon is dead. But the way you guys run the show irks me, so, Iâm gonna exterminate him my way,â Levi rebutted.
âHahahahaâ¦â
The Four Basilisks cackled out loud upon hearing Leviâs plans.
âYou wanna kill the Northern Demon your way? Go on, be my guest! Hahahaâ¦â
Heraclesâs laugh persisted.
To them, Levi was as foolish as a cow.
Killing the Northern Demon all by himself? Not in a million years!
âAnyone joining me? Follow me if you wanna live!â Levi tried to persuade the other fighters.
