A Goddess On Earth ?°•°•°
Mafia x [Y/n] | Mafia oneshots
Idea of the scenario :
[Y/n] was the daughter of a goddess and not just a goddess, but Aphrodite's. She was very mischievous and after having done a very big mistake, her mother sent her down in the mortal world for a few years as a punishment.
She stumbled upon Levi and as you could say, it was love at first sight for her. Since she had nothing better to do, she started annoying and flirt with the mafia boss, trying to gain his heart.
Levi didn't know she was a goddess but couldn't deny her striking beauty.
(Yes I've decided to call him Levi cause I didn't have any more inspiration for names. Though the character doesn't match the real Levi's personality so don't go like 'oh but Levi would never do that or say that' bla-bla-bla. I know ! It's just the name, thank you very much.)
The oneshot :
â¾ A Dangerous Kind of Love â¾
[Y/n] was in trouble. Again.
"What part of 'do not mess with mortals' did you fail to understand, [Y/n] ?!" Aphrodite's voice echoed through the grand halls of Olympus, reverberating with the kind of maternal frustration that could make even Zeus flinch.
The culprit in person twirled a lock of her wavy brown hair and shrugged, her sky-blue eyes twinkling mischievously.
(I added a description since I needed one but you can change it to what you want)
"It was just a tiny love spell. I didn't know it would make both kings fall in love with the same donkey."
Aphrodite rubbed her temples. "A donkey, [Y/n]. Really ?"
She grinned. "To be fair, he was a very charming donkey."
The goddess of love sighed. Her daughter, though blessed with beauty that could make the stars jealous, had a knack for chaos that rivaled the gods of mischief.
"You've caused a diplomatic incident between 2 kingdoms and now Zeus is demanding that I fix it. You've gone too far this time, my dear."
[Y/n] pouted. "Come on, Mom. You've done worse ! Remember that time you made Helenâ"
"That's enough !" Aphrodite snapped. She glared at her daughter who was now balancing a golden apple on her finger with an air of innocence.
"You need to learn responsibility, [Y/n]. And discipline."
"Ugh, not the discipline lecture again", [Y/n] groaned, flopping dramatically onto a nearby cloud.
Aphrodite's eyes narrowed. "I'm sending you to the mortal world."
She shot up. "What ? No ! You can'tâ Mortals are boring ! They're all, 'Oh no, I need food to live' and 'Why doesn't my toga fit anymore ?' "
Her mother crossed her arms. "Well, you're about to get very familiar with their struggles. You'll stay on Earth until I decide you've learned your lesson. No magic. No divine intervention. Just you, your wits, andâ" Aphrodite paused, smirking.
"Oh, and no meddling in love."
"What ?!" [Y/n] gasped. "That's like telling Zeus not to throw lightning bolts ! It's my whole thing !"
"Exactly", Aphrodite said, her tone final. With a wave of her hand, [Y/n]'s shimmering divine glow faded and the next thing she knew, she was plummeting toward Earth.
â¾ The Mortal World (a.k.a. the Worst Punishment Ever) â¾
For the first few weeks, [Y/n] sulked. She stomped through crowded city streets, grumbling about how "mortals smell weird" and how "their food tastes like sadness".
She spent her nights gazing at the stars, hoping her mother would relent and bring her back.
Then, one fateful evening, she stumbled into his bar.
Levi's bar wasn't exactly a place that welcomed uninvited guestsâ especially not ones who looked like they belonged in a painting.
The establishment was dimly lit, filled with smoke and whispers. It was the kind of place where deals were made, fortunes were destroyed and lives were decided with a single nod.
[Y/n] waltzed in like she owned the place.
Levi, seated at his usual table in the back, didn't even look up. His sharp gray eyes were focused on the men in front of him, discussing the logistics of their next "shipment".
He was impeccably dressed, his black suit tailored to perfection and his presence radiated a quiet menace that made the air feel heavier.
"Is this seat taken ?"
The room went silent.
Levi's men froze, their gazes darting toward the stunning woman who had just strolled up to their boss's table. She smiled brightly, her sky-blue eyes sparkling with mischief.
Levi didn't bother looking up. "Wrong place, sweetheart. Leave."
[Y/n] plopped herself down across from him anyway, resting her chin on her hand. "You're a terrible host, you know that ?"
Finally, he looked up, his gray eyes locking with hers. For a moment, he was struck silent. Who was this woman ? She didn't belong hereâ not in this dark, dangerous world of his.
And yet, there she was, grinning at him like he was the most interesting thing she'd ever seen.
"Do you have a death wish ?" He asked coldly.
"Not today", she replied cheerfully. "But thanks for asking."
Levi's men shifted uncomfortably. No one talked to him like that.
"Look", Levi said, leaning back in his chair, "I don't know who you are or what you want, but I'm not interested. Leave before you regret it."
She smirked. "Oh, I'm very interested, though. I think I'll stick around."
And that was how it began.
â¾ Operation : Annoy the Mafia Boss â¾
From that day on, [Y/n] made it her mission to annoy Levi into falling in love with her.
She showed up uninvited to his meetings, bringing snacks ("You look like you could use a cupcake").
She followed him to his office, rearranging his papers ("Your desk needed some flair").
And she even tagged along during his darker "business" dealings much to his utter horror.
"You can't just show up here", Levi hissed one night as [Y/n] lounged on the hood of his car, completely unbothered by the fact that they were in the middle of a warehouse surrounded by armed men.
"Why not ?" She asked, tossing her hair. "You're fascinating, Levi. Like a puzzle I just have to solve."
He ran a hand down his face, resisting the urge to yell. "Do you have any idea who I am ? What I do ?"
"Of course", she said, hopping off the car and walking up to him. "You're Levi, the brooding mafia boss with a secret soft side. Don't worry, I'll find it."
He stared at her, torn between exasperation and amusement. "You're insane."
"And you're gorgeous", she shot back.
Despite himself, Levi found her impossible to ignore. No one had ever dared to challenge him like this. No one had ever looked at him with such reckless abandon in their eyes, as though they saw past the danger to something deeper.
What he didn't know was that [Y/n]'s heart was already his.
She, the daughter of love itself, had fallen hopelessly for the one man who seemed immune to her charm.
But Levi wasn't entirely immune. As days turned into weeks, he began to notice the way his chest tightened whenever she smiled. The way his usually empty office felt... lonely when she wasn't there.
He didn't know her secretâ didn't know she was a goddess, punished and stranded in the mortal world. All he knew was that [Y/n] was unlike anyone he'd ever met and she was turning his life upside down.
For better or worse, neither of them could walk away. And in the shadows, Aphrodite watched with a knowing smile.
Perhaps her daughter's punishment wasn't such a punishment after all.
[Y/n]'s persistence continued and Levi was at his wit's end.
On one hand, she was the most frustrating person he'd ever met, breezing into his dangerous world as though it were a summer picnic.
On the other, she was... well, stunning. Not just in the obvious way, though she had a face and figure that could make gods jealous (not that he knew about that part). No, it was something deeper.
Her laugh had a way of disarming him. Her sky-blue eyes seemed to see parts of him even he didn't want to acknowledge.
And that mischievous smileâ it made him forget, just for a moment, who he was. What he was.
But Levi was a man who dealt in control. In calculated risks and cold decisions. Falling for [Y/n] ? That was chaos. And he hated chaos.
At least, that's what he kept telling himself.
â¾ A Not-So-Casual Dinner â¾
"Why are you here again ?" Levi asked one evening, pinching the bridge of his nose as the woman waltzed into his private dining room like she owned the place.
"To keep you company, obviously", she replied, dropping into a chair and propping her chin on her hand.
Her red dress was a little too bright for the dim room but she didn't seem to care.
He sighed. "This isn't a social club. I have businessâ dangerous businessâ that doesn't concern you."
"Then why is there steak and wine on the table ?" She shot back, raising an eyebrow.
"Doesn't seem very dangerous to me. In fact..." She picked up his glass of wine and took a sip. "Delicious. Good choice."
Levi's men, stationed at the door, exchanged uneasy glances. Nobody dared touch Levi's food or drink. Nobody except [Y/n].
"Do you have a death wish ?" He asked, genuinely baffled.
"Not really", she said, taking another sip. "But if I did, you'd be worth it."
He stared at her, caught between disbelief and a very unwanted urge to smile. "You're impossible."
"And yet, here I am." She grinned and cut herself a piece of his steak.
Levi leaned back in his chair, watching her with a mix of exasperation and reluctant fascination.
For a man who had spent his life avoiding attachments, [Y/n] was an enigma he couldn't quite solve.
â¾ Levi's Breaking Point â¾
It wasn't just the teasing that got under his skin. It was the way [Y/n] had started worming her way into every part of his life.
One day, she showed up at his office with a stack of muffins.
"What is this ?" He asked, staring at the baked goods as though they might explode.
"You looked stressed last night", she said, breezing past him to set the tray on his desk. "And by the way, your paperwork is a disaster. I reorganized it for you."
He blinked. "You... what ?"
"You're welcome", she said cheerfully, ignoring his stunned expression as she plopped into his chair.
"[Y/n]", he growled, pinching the bridge of his nose. "You can't justâ"
"âFix your life ? Someone has to." She gave him a pointed look, spinning idly in his chair.
He opened his mouth to retort but no words came. For once, the ever-composed mafia boss was speechless.
â¾ An Unexpected Ally â¾
"Who is she ?" Angelo, Levi's trusted right-hand man, asked one evening after [Y/n] had finally left.
Levi scowled. "Trouble."
"She seems... persistent", Angelo said cautiously.
"That's putting it mildly."
Angelo hesitated, then smirked. "She might be good for you, you know."
Levi shot him a glare so sharp it could have cut steel. "If you're tired of living, Angelo, keep talking."
One night, Levi finally cornered [Y/n]. Literally.
He had her pressed against a wall in his penthouse, his hands braced on either side of her as he glared down at her. "You're hiding something", he said, his voice low and dangerous.
[Y/n]'s heart raced, though not for the reasons he might have expected.
She could feel the heat of his body, see the intensity in his storm-gray eyes and it took everything in her not to kiss him right then and there.
"I don't know what you're talking about", she said, her voice a little too high-pitched.
"Don't play games with me, [Y/n]", he growled. "You show up out of nowhere, act like you belong here and keep turning my life upside down. Who are you ?"
She hesitated, biting her lip. Telling him the truth would be a disaster. But lying... lying didn't feel right either.
"Let's just say I'm not like other girls", she finally said, attempting a smile.
"That much is obvious", he muttered.
She sighed. "Look, Levi, I can't explain everything right now. But I promise, I'm not here to hurt you. I just..." She hesitated, her voice softening. "I like you. A lot."
He stared at her, his expression unreadable. For a moment, the tension between them was electric and [Y/n] thought he might actually kiss her.
(Being delulu.)
Instead, he stepped back, running a hand through his hair. "You're impossible", he muttered.
"Is that a compliment ?"
"Get out of my house, [Y/n]."
The Bigger Problem
What neither of them knew was that Aphrodite was watching. And while she was pleased to see her daughter learning something about mortal love, she also knew the dangers of mixing divine and mortal lives.
Zeus, ever nosy, had started asking questions. And if there was one thing Aphrodite didn't want, it was her daughter's mortal entanglement drawing the attention of the gods.
[Y/n] and Levi's love story was growing more complicated by the day. And somewhere in the back of her mind, she couldn't shake the feeling that her time with him might be running out.
But for now, she was determined to make every moment countâ even if it meant driving Levi crazy in the process.
