Mafia x [Y/n] | Mafia oneshots
Idea of the scenario :
His wife was mad at him for whatever reason and as he was working, he received calls from his bank, saying that a big amount of his card was being used and the amount was only increasing but he just told them that it was his wife throwing another tantrum as she was the one who took his black card to get back at him and spend his money. She even tried to buy Luca himself, her own husband with his own money.
The oneshot :
Luca sat behind his massive mahogany desk, the room dimly lit by the flickering lights of the city beyond the window.
The air in his office was thick with the scent of cigar smoke and the muffled sound of traffic from the streets below.
He was deep in thought, reviewing the latest information on a troublesome rival gang that had been encroaching on his territory.
It was a typical night for Luca, one where his mind was consumed by strategies and plansâ anything to maintain the iron grip he had over the city.
But tonight, something else was nagging at the back of his mind, something far less dangerous but far more troublesome in a different way.
That something was [Y/n], his wife, who had stormed out of the house earlier with a fire in her eyes that Luca had learned to both love and fear.
She was angry, again, but this time she had taken his black card as she left, the same card with no spending limit.
Their argument had been over something trivial, as it often wasâ [Y/n] had complained that Luca wasn't paying enough attention to her, too focused on his "silly Mafia work", as she called it.
He had brushed her off with a casual "we'll talk about it later" as he headed back into his office, and [Y/n], frustrated, had snatched the card and stomped out.
Luca figured she would cool off and come back when she was ready but as time passed, he found himself glancing at his phone, wondering what she was up to.
That's when his phone rang. He glanced at the screenâ it was his bank.
Luca answered the call, keeping his tone flat and composed, though there was a twinge of curiosity in his voice. "Yeah, what's this about ?"
"Mr. Luca, there's been an unusual series of transactions on your account. A significant amount of money is being spent continuously. Are you authorizing these purchases ?"
Luca leaned back in his chair, a knowing smile tugging at his lips. He could almost hear the bank representative sweating on the other end of the line, uncertain how to handle such extravagant spending. Luca let out a low chuckle, shaking his head slightly.
"Yeah, I know what's going on. It's my wife", he said, a trace of fondness slipping into his voice. "She's having one of her fits. Let her do what she wants. Trust me, it's nothing to worry about."
There was a pause before the banker replied, clearly baffled. "Are you sure, sir ? The amounts are... very large and the spending is ongoingâ luxury stores, exclusive purchases, some kind of unusual service thatâ"
Luca cut him off with a wave of his hand, even though the banker couldn't see it. "I said it's fine. She's harmless. Just keep processing whatever she's charging, alright ?"
The call ended and he couldn't help but chuckle to himself, imagining [Y/n]'s triumphant face as she made the most of his card.
But as he turned back to his work, he couldn't shake the feeling that [Y/n] was up to something particularly dramatic this time. He decided to keep an eye on the transaction alerts on his phone.
Hours later, he was proven right.
The final notification that popped up made him freeze mid-sentence, a half-written note hanging in the air. It read, "Service purchased : Custom gift wrapping and delivery of husband, Lucaâ 80 billion dollars."
Luca stared at the message, blinking in disbelief. She had tried to buy him. With his own money.
A bemused smirk spread across his face and he leaned back in his chair, imagining what sort of trouble his little wife had gotten herself into this time.
But before he could even think about tracking her down, his office door swung open and a group of his own bodyguards walked in, looking awkward and slightly nervous.
"Boss... we, uh... have a delivery for you", one of them muttered, scratching the back of his head.
Luca raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms over his chest. "A delivery ? What kind ofâ"
Before he could finish, the bodyguards moved in with swift precision, catching him off guard.
They wrapped him in a large, luxurious ribbon that wound around his torso, pinning his arms to his sides. Luca, despite being the most dangerous man in the city, was too stunned to react immediately.
He let out a bark of laughter as they tied a giant red bow at his chest, making him look like an absurdly expensive gift.
"Are you serious right now ?" He growled but his voice was more amused than angry. "Whose idea was this ?"
The bodyguards exchanged uneasy glances, but one finally answered, "Your wife, sir. She... bought you. And, uh, she wanted you delivered to her like this."
The Mafia boss rolled his eyes but couldn't help the small smile that tugged at the corner of his mouth. "Of course, she did. Alright, let's see where this goes."
He allowed them to guide him out of the office and down to the car.
It was a ridiculous sceneâ Luca, the feared Mafia boss, wrapped up like a Christmas present, being escorted by his own men.
They drove him through the city and eventually arrived at the luxury penthouse suite he shared with [Y/n].
When they stepped inside, Luca saw [Y/n] standing in the middle of the living room, surrounded by her spoilsâ a pile of shopping bags filled with designer clothes, shoes, jewelry, and what looked like a life-sized stuffed panda. But the moment she spotted him wrapped in that oversized bow, her face lit up with a triumphant grin.
"There you are, my purchase !" She declared, planting her hands on her hips. She looked like a tiny queen surveying her kingdom, her nose in the air and a satisfied smirk on her lips.
He couldn't help but laughâ a deep, genuine laugh that he hadn't felt in ages. "[Y/n], you really went and bought me, huh ? With my money, no less ?"
She nodded, looking pleased with herself. "That's right ! Now, you're all mine and you have to pay attention to me. And look, I even got you gift-wrapped !" She reached up to adjust the bow, as if she was making sure her present was perfect.
The man shook his head, looking down at his small, childish wife with an expression that was both exasperated and utterly smitten.
He could never stay mad at her, no matter what she did. Her antics, her tantrumsâ they all reminded him that beneath his cold, ruthless exterior, there was a part of him that needed this chaotic, bright presence in his life.
"Fine, you win", he said, letting out a sigh. "But next time, try not to spend a billion dollars just to make a point, alright ?"
The little woman beamed, standing on her tiptoes to press a quick kiss to his cheek. "Maybe ! But you're worth every penny, Luca."
He leaned down, pressing his forehead against hers and feeling the warmth of her smile seep into him. Despite all the insanity she brought into his life, he wouldn't trade her for anything.
She might have bought him with his own money but she'd already had his heart for free.
