chapter 202

We stayed at Imogen’s for a few hours and had dinner there, Amara coming back inside with

Emmet to join us. Ryland and Thaddeus’ teasing of Amara was relentless, and she gave it back as

good as she got. Poor Emmet didn't know much of what to say, though to say he looked

uncomfortable was an understatement.

When Emmet finally got up, he looked at Amara expectantly and she rolled her eyes, getting up

and following him toward the door leading to the living room. Thaddeus also follows after them

when Emmet stops looking up at him, wondering why he was following after them too. Thaddeus

drapes his arm over her shoulders and Amara shoves him before giving up knowing his strength out

matched her. Tobias had his eyes on his son, a smirk on his face, Like he was expecting this.

“Just remember she has three brothers,” Thaddeus tells him. Emmet's eyes dart to Ryland and

Orion. Ryland blows him a kiss and gives him a wink. Orion smiles at him, his eyes flickering red.

Despite their teasing of her, I knew both Orion and Ryland would kill for her. Emmet swallows and I

could smell his fear seeping from his pores.

“You hurt my sister, you best pray they get their hands on you before I do” Thaddeus warns

him, the lights flickering and Emmet steps back from him. I knew what he would have seen and

quite frankly I would have stepped back too if he wasn't my mate.

“Is he staying the night or are you going with him Amara?” Imogen asks releasing Emmet from

Thaddues deadly glare. Emmet looks at Amara waiting for her answer, though Amara claims she

doesn’t want him, I knew the effects of the mate binding myself to deny him would be denying

herself.

“Can he stay?” She asks, turning and looking at Tobias who folds his arms across his chest, not

happy. Theo walks over to him dropping his hand on his shoulder before whispering something to

him too low for us to hear even with our advanced hearing. Tobias relaxes before cupping Theo's

cheek and I see Imogen staring at them, Theo kisses cheek before handing Mara to him.

“He can stay, sing out if you want me to make him leave” Tobias says, taking Mara from Theo.

Amara rushes him out and it was the first time I saw her actually touch him. Emmet however looks

like he was about to swoon at her hands touching his back. I chuckle, turning back to see Everyone

staring at me.

“What, they are cute together” I tell them. Theo smiles, Tobias though huffed at my words.

Thaddeus walks back from the doorway. Dropping his face in my neck, “You think Emmet is

cute?” He asks and I feel my face heat.

“No that is not what I said, I said they are cute together” I tell him. Thaddeus growls before

looking up when his father speaks. “Can Mara stay the night?” Tobias asks and Thaddeus looks at

Orion waiting for his answer, I could tell he didn't want her too so I was surprised when he said yes

until a smirk appeared on his face as he looked at me. I swallowed, not liking the devious smile on

his lips and knew I had to go home with them

“Can I stay too?” I blurted out knowing what would be waiting at home for me, if we got home.

Thaddeus words on calling dibs driving me home coming back to me.

“Of course” Theo says with a laugh, Imogen had a knowing smile on her face and I felt my face

heat under her gaze.

“You won't be escaping us,” Thaddeus says.

“We will pick Mara up in the morning,” Orion says.

“Or I will see you later tonight” Theo chuckles. Making us look at him, though Orion looks away

and nods.

“Orion has never let her stay here by herself, he always comes over to check on her while you're

sleeping, so cards or Xbox" Theo laughs looking at Orion.

“Cards,” Orion answers and Theo nods. I couldn't really picture either of them playing an Xbox,

that would be a sight to see, though I could tell Theo was Orion's bestfriend, they had grown quite

close since we lost him.

“Come on, I want to go before Orion changes his mind and we all get stuck here” Ryland says

standing up. Orion walks over kissing Mara's head as she pulls on Tobias face, getting him to play

peekaboo. Covering his eyes with her tiny hands

“Oh, I almost forgot, do you want the cafe or are you happy to sell?” I ask Imogen as I stand up,

Thaddeus pulling me against him.

“You want to sell it?” She asks,

“Evie wants to stay home with Orion” Thaddues tells her and Orion looks at me.

“You want to quit?” He asks, I could feel his excitement of having me at home with him, having

help with Mara.

“I'm fine with it, I am pretty busy with Bianca anyway, and the hours were killing us by

ourselves” Imogen admits, making me wonder if she was only sticking it out because of me.

“I will handle it if you want?” Tobias says and Imogen looks at me. I nod, knowing Tobias and

Theo would be best dealing with it.

“Has Bianca said anything?” Thaddeus asks his mother.

“She doesn't remember much, said that they kept her drugged and unconscious for most of it”

Imogen says. “She is wanting to see Lana though she misses her” Imogen says and I swallow, I

hadn't been a very good friend and guilt was nagging at me.

“You have had enough on your plate, Lana would understand” Thaddues says next to my ear as

he pulls me closer to him.

“Go we can talk more tomorrow” Imogen says.

“And I will see you later Orion?” Theo asks.

“Maybe I might stay with my mates,” Orion says, looking at me. Theo smirks before nodding,

making me wonder what Orion and him talk about.

“Evelyn can come with me, you two can take her car” Orion says and Thaddeus sighs.

“I wanted to take her home” he whines pulling me tighter against him not that I could get any

closer I was practically standing on his feet.

“She isn't the only one with a mouth” I hear Ryland whisper to him before Orion comes over to

me and pulls me away from him.

“You can leave it here for the night, it is not like it's blocking ours in, just leave your keys I can

move it if I have to” Tobias says and Thaddues smirk while tossing my keys to him. Tobias catches

them placing them on the table. Sometimes it really sucked being the only female knowing our

night of rest would be anything but restful with these three.

“No rest for the wicked” Thaddues taunts getting in my head. We leave climbing in the car and I

go to hop in the passenger seat when I see Thaddeus remove Mara's car seat placing it in the boot.

I am suddenly pulled over and into the back seat with Orion and Thaddeus. Thaddues arms

wrapping around my waist so I don't escape his clutches. Ryland climbs in the driver's seat and

starts Orion's car, before driving down the long driveway. Orion's hand tugging at the waistband of

my pants while Thaddue pulls me against him.

“Can't you wait till we get home" I tell Orion as he rips my pants off.

“We should be wearing seatbelts”

“We are Immortal” Orion growls, Thaddeus pulls me sideways onto his lap and Orion shoves my

legs apart before I feel Orion's breath on my core.00
