blood run down his chest, I watch it move over the hard ridges on his abdomen enthralled by the

“You should have known better Thaddeus” Ryland tells him and I chuckle at the cold feeling

“I forgot she has never fed off me while I have had magic, Orion handles it fine” Thaddeus says

clamping his hands down on my face.

“Orion has had decades to become desensitised to it” Ryland tells him.

“It will stop hun, it's just a cold feeling” Thaddeus tells me. A giggle erupting from my lips at the

feeling of it.

“I don't want it to stop” I tell him and his brows furrow. Rylands voice behind me barely reaches

my ears as I almost feel high on the feeling of his blood running through my veins.

“Never again Thaddeus, Orion only, he can handle it.” Thaddeus nods. Anger bubbling within

me so strong at their words that I felt my entire body was going to be engulfed in flames, rage

smashing into me so strong it nearly knocked me over making me stagger back into Ryland.

Thaddeus growls his grip on my face tightening. “Calm down breathe, it's just my magic” Thaddeus

says, his hypnotic eyes dazzling me and he suddenly sounds very reasonable. My breathing is

steading and I realise he just used his magic on me. I also understood now why it was so easy to

give into the darkness that sometimes possesses him, it makes you not want to let go of
