Because it had been mentioned beforehand, the family doctor’s clinic was booked by Mr Li today.

Mr Li’s back was facing Tang Xiaoyu, so she could not see the emotions in his eyes. However, the moisture in his eyes told her that he did not want her to know about his condition.

“Alright, Mr Li. I’ll wait for you outside with Duo Duo.”

Tang Xiaoyu did not say anything else. The housekeeper, who was following closely behind, hugged Duo Duo even tighter. The blanket on Duo Duo’s forehead covered her face.

“Alright, wait for me outside.”

Tang Xiaoyu looked at Mr Li’s back and could not help but feel cold inside.

“Mr Li, I’m just outside. Call me if you need anything.”
