Chapter 1880 - So Empty and Cold

“Move?”

Pei Ge’s eyes were filled with confusion as her gaze landed on the wound on Ji Ziming’s left leg. Her voice was gentle as she asked, “You don’t have much interaction with my grandma, right? How did you know about this?”

“So, after Uncle Bai told you about what happened back then, he had already left with the girl, right?”

If you are really worried, we can end it at Old lady Qu’s place for a short while and I’ll bring you there.”

“Is Uncle Bai overseas?”

Pei Ge asked. She lowered her head to look into his eyes.

“He is overseas, and it’s a place you know.”

The corners of Ji Ziming’s lips curled up as he looked at Pei Ge with his bright eyes. The cold aura around him was replaced by the gentleness in his eyes when he looked at Pei Ge. In his heart, he thought of her as his unique queen. Nothing in this world could compare to her.

So what if it was the Ji Group? So what if it was Mr Ji’s status and reputation?

“Ziming, thank you for being considerate. If it weren’t for you, I probably wouldn’t have been able to pull Old lady Qu down completely. This vicious woman, even if there’s retribution, it’s still not coming. This can be considered as the heavens being kind to her.”

She said as her heart ached for him.

“It doesn’t hurt anymore.”

Ji Ziming shook his head and looked at Pei Ge with gentle eyes. “Actually, I knew that Old lady Qu would use the dagger against you.”

Pei Ge nodded, her eyes no longer filled with confusion.

“Ziming, did you ask the bodyguard to stab Old lady Qu with a dagger? The bodyguard could have use a gun but he didn’t.”

Ji Ziming slid his head onto Pei Ge’s other leg. His voice was gentle and his gentle aura wrapped around her like a ribbon.
