“Okay, I’ll do whatever you say. It’s not because of anything else but because you’ve always helped me and because you’re a good person.”

Mao Nana reached out her sleeve to wipe her tears away. There were still traces of her tears on her fair cheeks.

“That’s good. Do you think I’m using you?”

Pei Ge said with a smile, but she was afraid that her image in Mao Nana’s heart would no longer be as beautiful and confident as before. She sighed inside. “Nana, if you don’t want to do it, you can tell me. I don’t want you to feel troubled because of me.”

Mao Nana laughed lightly and said to Pei Ge, “How can that be? Ge Ge, you don’t know what kind of girl you are in my heart. I always knew that you would succeed, so for your success, my sacrifice is nothing.”

“But this might cause you to be misunderstood by my uncle.”

“Then, will you misunderstand?”

Pei Ge looked at her suspiciously. She was a completely different person from before.

“I won’t because I understand you.”
