Her eyes turned even colder. As long as she was willing to believe it, none of this was a reason for Pei Ge to make things difficult for Qu Jingwan. The person she wanted to deal with was the woman behind Qu Jingwan who controlled the entire Qu family.

Qu Jingwan did not understand, but the way she looked at Pei Ge made her feel worried.

“You don’t even understand what I mean. What right do you have to call me a sinister and vicious person?”

Pei Ge blinked and her beautiful eyes were filled with tears. Her gaze on Qu Jingwan was even colder, as though she were the devil from hell.

Perhaps it was because she had been together with Ji Ziming for a long time that her way of speaking naturally resembled his.

“Aren’t you?”

Qu Jingwan pursed her red lips with a sad smile.

“Qu Jingwan, you’re the one who lost and I’m the winner. The process of winning isn’t important. What’s important is whether the two of them have the same capital to compete together.
