The group of them entered the Ji family’s mansion. Mother Ji was practicing her dance in the dance studio on the second floor. Zhang Manhua’s eyes were filled with smugness as she watched Pei Ge walk down the stairs. “If you’re home, where is Ziming?”

“Ziming went to the office. Mom, wait a minute. My mother-in-law has already finished her dance and is going to take a shower. She’ll be back soon.”

Mother Ji did not wait for more than twenty minutes before she came down in a pink bathrobe. The two ladies warmed up together and just as they were happily chatting, Qu Xiujie tried to sneak away from Zhang Manhua but was caught by her.
