The outcome was evident when a highly skilled expert met a moderately skilled expert.

“Sure, I can do it, but you should fax me the photo first. My phone has its decoding software, so I just have to upload the picture on it.”

Bi Zheng looked down on hackers who had little training.

Ji Ziming passed the photo to the guy, and it instantly became lines of codes on the latter’s phone. He was clueless on this as the other proceeded to restore the photo to its original state.

“What does this mean?”

Looking at the other’s phone, the man understood the lines of English but did not get the odd symbols.

“This is a password analysis program. All the apps on my phone are designed by me, so they are all encrypted and require a password to be unlocked. This photo is encrypted as well, so I’ll need some time to get through.”

Bi Zheng dipped his head as he focused on the phone.

It was actually not a difficult step to restore the image to its original state, but this hacker wanted to earn people’s favor by doing something impressive, so he specially made a sound recording as the password encryption. Unfortunately, he did not have that and could only decode it based on the loopholes, and this required time.

It was Ji Ziming’s first time hearing about an encoded picture. Although this guy next to him looked rather childish, he was clearly skilled at settling this sort of issue.

About five minutes later, a high-resolution photo with a figure started to appear on Bi Zheng’s phone. It was the face of a man, but he was wearing a cap, so his facial features were not clear, but a mole on his chin was visible as he faced the CCTV.

“The picture has been decoded. This is its barest form. It’s a man who’s clearly trying to destroy the security camera.”

“How did you know?”

“Look at his actions, as well as the angle of the CCTV. If he threw a rock at this moment, the security camera would break beyond repair.”

Bi Zheng’s certainty made the man look up at him. The latter looked up at this time, too, and noticed his gaze before continuing to explain. “This angle is known as a triangle, which you should’ve heard of before, but because of where he was standing, it formed a trapezium. The midway is the point most vulnerable to damage for a trapezium or vertical trapezium. As long as he calculated the position where the rock would bounce, he could accurately cause the biggest damage to the CCTV.”

Ji Ziming had the urge to recruit this guy again.

“I see that you’re very skilled in this.”

He shot the two women sitting opposite of them a glance before his clear voice rang. “Since you’re very skilled in this, help me look at a few more pictures.”

“Okay.”

Bi Zheng nodded as he turned on his phone and received the pictures sent by the man. Compared to the previous photo, these were of much higher quality. He, however, had no idea where this man had found so many encrypted photos. As a hacker, he rarely knew of others who encrypted their photos.

By doing so, it was a breach of a hacker’s principles.

A hacker’s skills were his capabilities. Bi Zheng had many skills and his capability was one of the best in this field. There was nothing that he could not decode up until today.

The two women finally had a bit of inkling of what was going on. Pei Ge looked up at the two men. Ji Ziming did not bother looking at Bi Zheng when the latter came in earlier, so how did the two become closer after only a short while?

“Qitong, what do you think those two are doing?”

She stealthily tugged the corner of Qin Qitong’s shirt.

“No idea, but since Bi Zheng is using his phone, it should have something to do with his area of expertise.”

The lady watched her fiancé swiftly key in codes to his phone. She was so familiar with him that she knew what code he was typing by looking at him. It was a passage of code or a function application.

“You told me earlier that he is quite the hacker. Did he get any awards for that?”

Pei Ge suddenly thought of the rumors about Bi Zheng. A colleague told her about these two, but she did not pay it much attention, so she did not remember it. Thinking about it now, it must have been about Bi Zheng winning an award.

“How’s that possible? He’s a hacker, and even if he does win an award, he can’t get it openly.” Qin Qitong laughed. “The one who received an award was me, and he accompanied me to the awards ceremony.”
