Chapter 2 - Magic

White Nights

Sarah's POV

I felt butterflies in my stomach. He tightened his arm around me, kissing me passionately. I responded to his kiss, moving my hands up along his chest.

He pulled my lower lip between his teeth and pulled back a little, looking into my eyes full of passion in his eyes.

"Put your clothes on! You are coming with me. I will show you magic." He demanded huskily.

"Hmm?" I looked at him, dumbfounded.

He smirked arrogantly. "Do you want to stay here...and continue what we have started, kiska?" He asked with a cocky grin.

I narrowed my eyes at him. He chuckled and pulled away.

"Hurry up!" He ordered.

"I am not coming with you anywhere." I protested, folding my arms over my chest.

He walked closer to me, trailing his fingertip along my cheek, sending shivers down my spine.

"Do not worry I will not eat you...tonight." He murmured in my ear huskily and pulled back, grinning; I gave him a dirty look. He chuckled.

"Come on."

"Ok. Wait here." I sighed as I accepted and went to the bedroom.

I put on blue jeans and a white blouse. I took my bag and left the bedroom.

"I am ready." I informed.

"Great! Let's go."

He held my hand quickly and dragged me out with him without letting me protest.

When we walked out of the hotel, the sky was not dark, despite the fact that it was midnight.

"I told you I would show you magic." He murmured in my ear; I looked at him, puzzled.

"White nights. You can see this only in St. Petersburg. From late May to early July, the nights are bright here. It stands at such a high latitude that the sun does not descend below the horizon enough for the sky to grow dark." He explained with a serious expression.

"It is beautiful." I commented, looking around in awe.

He smiled, placing his hand on my lower back as he headed me towards a black Lamborghini.

We got in his car. He started the car.

I was staring at him. He was so handsome with his blond hair and green eyes. And his charming smile.

He turned his head towards me and gave me a bright smile.

He parked his car as we arrived at our destination. We got out of the car. In front of us was the Neva River.

We leaned against the trunk hood, watching the magical scenery in front of us. Dimitri was giving me information about here.

We were watching the raising of the drawbridges across the Neva River. This was the signature tradition of the White Nights: watching the spectacle of the massive Neva River bridges heaving apart to let through boat traffic. The most popular spot, which offered the best views of the Palace and Trinity bridges going up. There was a carnival atmosphere, with bands playing nearby, food and drink stalls and party boats going up and down the river.

I listened to him, memorizing his gestures, voice and face.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked, interrupting my thoughts.

I turned my head towards him. "About why I am here, despite your annoying arrogance." I admitted honestly.

He chuckled. "You are here despite my annoying arrogance. If you like me more, think what will happen then." He commented arrogantly and chuckled, emphasizing the words, annoying arrogance.

"You are getting into deep water." I warned, raising my eyebrow.

"Then save me." He said, leaning closer to me.

He stroked my cheek with his fingertip, increasing my heartbeats.

We met a few hours ago, but his effect on me was undeniable.

He kissed my lips softly, wrapping his arm around me, his other hand was resting on my cheek. He pulled me closer to him as he deepened the kiss.

I stood up and wrapped my arms around his neck without separating our lips. I was standing between his legs. He pressed his bulge into my stomach while holding me still against his body. He was devouring my mouth with his skillful mouth and tongue.

Our soft kiss became rough.

A few minutes later, we pulled back to catch our breaths.

"What are you doing to me, kiska?" He murmured, stroking my cheek while panting.

He wrapped his arms around me, resting his head on my shoulder, hugging me tightly. I hugged him back.

"Don't you think we are going too fast?" I asked, still in his arms.

"I like speeding things up. Slowness is too boring for me." He winked at me and placed a soft kiss on my lips.

I woke up, feeling happy the following morning. I got up and went to the bathroom.

After taking a shower, I put on a black pencil skirt and a blush pink blouse. I took my bag and left.

My father was waiting for me in the lobby. We went to the company.

Sergei greeted us. I saw Dimitri faraway walking towards us, his hands in his pockets. He looked so handsome in his black suit.

When he noticed us, he smiled at me while walking towards us. He greeted us as he approached us.

We went to the conference room. I felt his gaze on me.

When I looked at him, he winked at me. I turned my gaze away, biting my lower lip.

After the meeting, I went to the hotel. My father and Sergei stayed in the company.

I changed my clothes and lay down on the bed.

Suddenly, my phone buzzed. I grabbed my phone and looked at the screen.

'What about dinner? Dimitri.'

I smiled happily. 'OK.'

I sent him a message. My phone buzzed again.

'Great! I will pick you up at 6.00 p.m.'

I put my phone down on the bed and got up to choose a dress for dinner; I was so excited.

I wore a silver mini dress. I looked at myself in the mirror and took my clutch.

Dimitri was waiting for me in front of the hotel, leaning against his car.

When he saw me, he straightened, staring at me from head to toe lustfully. I walked towards him.

"Good evening." I greeted him.

"Good evening. You are so beautiful." He murmured, wrapping his arm around me, kissing my lips. Then, he pulled back.

"Let's go, kiska." He suggested; I nodded.

He opened the door for me. I got in the car as I thanked him. Then he got in his car, too and started the car.

He stopped his car in front of the luxurious restaurant. We got out of the car. He gave the key to the valet and placed his hand on my back protectively as we walked in.
