Chapter 94
Presiden's wild wife
Emma and Jeremy started their endless quarrel until the nurses came stopped them.
Then they came into the ward and tried to ignore each other. Seeing Elena and Logan holding each otherâs hands, Jeremy felt even more jealous and bitter in his heart.
After a while, Mason finally opened his eyes and looked around..
"Dad, are you OK?" Emma came to him immediately with tears in her eyes, "Dad, I am so sorry. I didnât mean it. I was too scared...â
Mason didnât understand at first and then recalled what happened before he fainted. Emma was crying so desperately that he could hardly blame her.
So he just said, âIt was my fault. I have gone too far...â
He looked around and got excited once he saw Elena. "Elena..."
While Elena stayed close to Logan and didn't want to walk over. Mason got sad and cried with Emma, "Elena, have you been hating me all the time?"
Elena didnât answer. How could she not hate him? But after all, he was her father. She didnât know what to do.
"Elena, I know I am wrong. Can you forgive me? From now on, I will be kind to you and care about you. But could you please forgive me and still regard me as your dad?â
Elena was touched by his apology. But the next moment, she recalled how she was treated by him before, she turned her face away rigidly.
Mason looked at her in deep sorrow, "Elena, you still canât forgive me, right? What can I do? Do you want me to kneel down and beg you!â
âElena! Dad is begging you. How can you be so heartless?â Emma shouted.
âStop that! You donât deserve to judge me!" Elena glanced at Emma coldly, "You..."
âElena, you wonât forgive me?âMason called her again.
While Emma started to feel confused. Mason looked so sincere right now. Did he really mean it? He was really trying to beg for Elenaâs forgiveness?
Why? But anyway she couldnât let that happen! She should be his favorite daughter!
"Mr. Bush, since you are awake, I will visit you another day." Elena was still cold and indifferent.
âElena!âMason shouted, âYou donât even want to see me now? Even when Iâm sick?"
Mr. Bush, she was calling him Mr. Bush. He felt his heart was totally broken.
âYou still have Emma, your daughter. You don't need an insignificant person like me.â
âThat's not the sameï¼You are Elenaï¼She is Emma...you are different..."
Elena felt puzzled about his words, but she didnât change her mind. At this moment, she just wanted to run away.
âLetâs go.â Logan held her hand tightly.
Yes, she still had Logan. She felt warm and reassured. She still got a home and a place to hide herself.
Masonâ words followed her when she went out. She sped up and pretended not to hear him.
Once getting inside the car, Elena threw herself into Logan's arms and cried, "How could he do that? How could he?"
He abandoned her! He hurt her! But now he could feel guilty and apologize to her so easily!
Then he shouldnât have let her hate him in the first place! But just when she made up her mind and decided to move on, he came to her and begged for her forgiveness!
âHow could he apologize to me so easily? Itâs too late..."
Logan listened to her quietly and felt her warm tears on his chest. He could only hold her tightly in her arms. âItâs over now. Iâm here. All of this will just fade as time goes by.â
"No, it wonât..." She cried. âLogan, I have prayed so many times that I could forgive him if only he gave me a little bit of love. But he didn't. He just let me down over and over again!"
So, she learned her lesson. She learned to stop caring. She learned to give up hope. But just when she was about to succeed, he told her he was wrong...
Logan did not speak. He knew his wife too well. She attached great importance to her family.
"Logan, what should I do?" She murmured, lost totally.
Logan cupped her face and kissed on her teary eyes. "You don't need to think about that. Just be yourself. Everything will work out eventually."

While Logan looked at her and caressed her head dotingly. He would always support her no matter what.
After a while, Elena seemed to be tired of crying. She stopped sobbing and wiped her tears with his sleeves.
âLogan, you are so nice...â she murmured.
Logan just patted her on her back gently. She felt warm in his arms and fell asleep quickly.
When they returned to the villa, Jacob got off and found Elena was asleep soundly. "Sir, should I carry her back?" Jacob proposed.
Loganâs eyes turned cold and he glared at Jacob like a sharp arrow.
"I'm sorry, Sir. I shouldnât..." Jacob realized he was wrong and apologized at once.
âCarry her back then." Logan looked so weak and vulnerable at this moment.
Jacob was shocked by his look and didnât know if he should go ahead.
The next moment, he heard Logan clearly. "Jacob, sometimes I really envy you."
Jacob froze when he reached out to carry Elena. He didnât quite understand what Logan said. But he knew he shouldnât ask.
Logan saw Jacob carrying Elena to the villa and just whispered to himself, "I wish I could carry her."
His voice was low and so sad...
