Chapter 130
Presiden's wild wife
Though Grandpa George was old, his voice was full of power, which made them all silent at once.
Anna sat beside Grandpa George and tried to comfort him, âItâs enough! Grandpa just woke up from a coma. He hasnât recovered yet. How can you argue and make such a noise here? Do you want him to suffer again?â
Yolanda didnât give up and said, âGrandpa, donât you believe me? She did the bad thing to you and now she wants to get away with it!â
âI put the medicine into her handbag! So stop now!â George gave her a sharp stare and spoke out loudly.
Yolanda was shocked by his words, âHow could you defend her like that, Grandpa?!â
Elena was shocked, too. She didnât expect that Grandpa George would help her in this way.
Grandpa George snorted, âDo you have any question? I put it in her bag on purpose for fun. She didnât know about it at all. I never expect I nearly killed myself because of the joke.â
âGrandpa...â Yolanda knew what happened exactly because she did it. Before she could say anything, Grandpa George sighed, âI am tired. You should go home now. I canât breathe with all of you around in the room!â
Yolanda thought her plan was so perfect. But she didnât expect that Grandpa George defended Elena at all cost. Though he could see the evidence, he still chose to take her side!
Yolanda felt so wronged. She was the younger daughter in the Browns, but she was not loved this much! And Grandpa George wouldnât give her anything. However, Elena just married Logan and she stole all the love and care!
Yolanda couldnât say a word against Grandpa, but she couldnât help feeling peeved. Cornel pulled her up and said, âYolanda, letâs go home. We can visit Grandpa tomorrow. â
âOkay.â She lowered her head, squeezing the bottle tightly.
âWait a minute.â Grandpa George said. He looked around and found Elena and Logan, âYou two stay here then. We will have a conversation.â
Elena and Logan were surprised. They looked at each other and decided to stay here as he asked.
So now only three were in the ward.
Grandpa George took off the oxygen mask and sat up. Elena quickly took a pillow and put it behind his back. Looking at his pale face, she couldnât help asking, âGrandpa, I know you didnât put the medicine into my bag. Why do you take the blame on yourself?â
She wasnât a fool. Grandpa George was defending her.
Grandpa George didnât answer her question, but he turned to Logan, and quipped, âIf I donât do that, Logan wonât let it go, either.â
Logan said in a cold tone, âI am sure you know what you are doing.â
âYes...â He sighed, holding Loganâs hand and said, âYou are clever. You must know who did this to me. Yolanda went too far today.â
âWent too far? She nearly killed you!â Logan retorted. He couldnât understand his tolerance towards her.
George shook his head, âLogan, let it go. I am fine.â
Elena had guessed Yolanda did this from their conversation. So she blurted it out, âDid Yolanda really do this to you?â
âOr who do you think has the motive to kick you out?â Logan said, âYou are always clever. Why canât you see the truth this time?â
Elena was shocked by the truth, âThough I know she set me up, I never expect that she would do this horrible thing to Grandpa! He is our Grandpa!â
She realized her words might hurt Grandpa George, so she stopped speaking at once.
However, Grandpa George seemed not to care, and said with a smile, âShe might hate me, so she chose to use me.â
âNo way...How can she do this to you?â Elena couldnât understand why Yolanda would hurt Grandpa. And she didnât know why Yolanda hated her like crazy and even used Grandpa to frame her.
âElena, to be honest, I hope you can forgive her and let this go.â
âBut...â
He raised his hand to stop her words, âCome on. I am safe now. Itâs not a problem. Just let it go.â
Elena didnât know if it was right to let it go.
While she was thinking, George continued, âShe is my granddaughter. So just let it go...â
Elena could understand his feeling and felt sad for him.
âYolanda, Grandpa always defends you. How canât you see it? Donât you ever feel sorry for him?â Elena thought.
George got really tired. After a while, he fell asleep. Then Elena left with Logan.
Presiden's wild wife ï¤Chapter 129 Yolanda set Elena up A Trillionaireâs Revenge She lowered her head and looked at him, âYou knew it was her at the very beginning, right?â
âYes.â Logan nodded, âShe was weird.â
Yolanda could tell every detail precisely in the mess. And she even insisted to search Elenaâs handbag. He was 100% sure that it was her who did all this.
Elena sighed, âYou are right. If I really want to hurt Grandpa, I wonât be silly to keep the evidence with me. But Yolanda was so certain that I stole it and it must be her who put it in my handbag!â
Logan agreed with her. And that was exactly what he thought.
She stopped suddenly, showing her confusion, âWhat will you do for me if Grandpa doesnât help me?â
âThereâs no âIfâ. Since Grandpa helped you, you didnât need me then.â
Elena wasnât satisfied with his answer. She pouted, âGrandpa said you would help me. I wonder how you will help me? Or itâs just Grandpaâs thought?â
Logan smiled, âYou trust me, right?â
Elena shook her head, and gave a kiss on his face, âNo. You trusted me.â
All people present believed what Yolanda said. But he...
Logan seemed to enjoy her kiss. He smiled to her again, showing his affection to her.
Just when they were about to leave, Anna came with Zach. She pointed at Elenaâs face and started shouting, âElena! How can you be so cruel to Grandpa! He treats you so well, doesnât he? How could you hide Grandpaâs medicine?! Do you want to kill him?!â
Hearing her blame, Elenaâs face darkened at once.
