Henry and Y/n watch the giant crane slowly swing a heavy rock in the air as it finally stops a few meters away from their faces with one final beep.

Henry picks up a small potted plant and tries to place it across the room. "Wait! Actually, just move all these things to the side in one go." Y/n explained to him and Henry nodded.

"Right, got it." The boy places the item back and dragged the whole cart across the room instead while looking up at the strange rock.

Charlotte opens the door with a smile while holding some corn dogs in her other hand. "Hey, you guys" she greeted and the boys look over and waved.

"Hey."

"You're late for work, care to explain?" Y/n replied as he rechecked the levers for the crane. Charlotte shrugged and walked towards them.

"Sorry, there was a line at The Corn Doggery." she explained and Henry's face lightens up. "You got us corn dogs?" he questioned and she turned to him with a short grin.

"Yeah, dude." she chuckled as he reached for one and Y/n shook his head at the two. "Fine, just this once- now give me a corn dog." He told her and she willingly handed him one.

"So, what is all this?" she motioned and Y/n glanced at the rock above. "Apparently, it's a rock from outer space but I'm not so sure since Gooch told me." he sighed.

"No, I mean, what's this crane for?"

"Oh, to move the rock..It weighs over 7,ooo pounds." Henry explained and Charlotte gaped in awe as she turned to Y/n curiously.

"Can I borrow this crane to move my big Uncle Rosco? Because he's been on our couch since Christmas." The H/c haired boy moves the rock a bit more and hummed.

"Okay, now help me push the crane to the corner and try not to move any controls from the machine. Got it?"

"Sure." They agreed and they went to go stand with the other to start pushing.

"You think I can maybe--" Henry started but accidentally leans on all the levers of the crane as it lets go of the rock.

"Henry!" Y/n and Charlotte screamed at him as the sound of crashing hits every layers below their feet. The three look down at the hole on the floor in fear.

"Wow, that thing is gonna fall all the way down to the Man Cave." Charlotte responded as Y/n sets his corn dog to the side and calmly reaches for the phone on the counter.

The phone rings a couple of times before his boss finally picks up. "Ray." The boy called as the tall male on the other line continues to dance with a Hawaiian woman.

"Hey. I can't talk. I'm hula-sizing with Laylani."

"Heads up! There's a 7,000 pound rock coming your way." Y/n told him but the music was too loud for Ray to hear anything.

"There's a what on it's way--" Y/n managed to hear before a big crash was heard while it was followed by a loud shriek from Laylani. "Ray?! Speak to me, Cap."

"What happened?" Charlotte asked and Henry could only shrug at his friend as they watched the boy on the phone worriedly.

"Ray!" He repeated and his boss picks up the phone again a few seconds later with small grunts.

"Thanks for the warning.."

"--I already told Jasper he could do his podcast from my room, and that's how it is." Henry explained to his sister and dug his hand into the bag of popcorn on the counter.

"Well, why can't he do his dumb podcast from his own dumb house?" Piper told him in disbelief and the boy sighed.

"Because Jasper's parents don't believe in the internet." He pops a piece into his mouth and watched his sister shake in frustration.

"That's not my problem!" She shouted as the boy throws his head back at the outburst. He stands up and turned to her calmly.

"Why don't I go check on J--" Henry paused as they hear the doorbell ring. He raised his eyebrows at who the visitor could be and looked at Piper.

"Don't look at me."

"Give me a second." He told his sister and she groaned in irritation. "Hurry it up, will you!" She scolded and stuffed her face full with popcorn aggressively.

Henry shakes his head and goes to open the door to go check. His eyes widened when he found Y/n standing outside with a warm smile.

"Hi, Henry. Is Charlotte around?" he asked them and the boy awkwardly cleared his throat on how he thought the visit was for him.

"No, uhm she's probably at the library studying late again." He managed to say without stuttering and Y/n nodded in understanding.

"Ah, okay. let her know I was looking for them!" He replied and waved at the blonde before turning around to walk away. Henry watches him leave and opens his mouth to speak again.

"Wait--!" He blurted and then winced at his voice echoing in the dark outside while leaning his hand on the doorframe. "Don't you want to come in?"

Y/n hesitated and strolled over to the blonde who was biting his lip nervously for an answer.

"I told Ray it would be a quick run to your house and back." He explained to him and Henry sighed in disappointment.

"Oh.."

"No, No! No, Henry!!" Piper yelled and Henry groaned at the mention of his name. "Sounds like a cry for help." Y/n joked in amusement and the blonde shakes his head.

"Sorry, she's trying to download the new ginger fox music video online but Jasper is upstairs using up all the bandwidth. She's very furious about it." Henry said and rubbed his neck tiredly.

"really? that sucks, I've heard they'll only let people download for free for an hour." Y/n informed and this immediately captures Piper's attention.

"What!?!"

"Oh, No." Henry squeezed his eyes shut at his sister already attempting to run upstairs to murder his friend. He quickly goes after her as Y/n followed them.

"Guys, what's wrong?" Henry questioned after leaving the elevator with Charlotte as the two hold a finger up to their lips.

"Shh!"

"How come you guys are--" Charlotte trailed off when Henry panics and shushed her too. "Why are you doing it?" she frowned as she wiped her face.

"I don't know. They started it." Henry pointed and she rolled her eyes at his excuse.

"Will you two be quiet for one second? We have a serious situation." Y/n whispered lightly and looked around the area he was standing by.

"What's going on?" Henry asked as Ray puts the weapon down and starts doing some charades to add more to their confusion. Y/n squinted at his boss and tells him to stop.

"Just look at the space rock." The H/c haired boy motioned and they look down at the rock cracked into two. "What the Jack happened?" Charlotte gasped as the four of them approached it cautiously.

"It freaking hatched."

"What do you mean it hatched? It's a rock. Rocks don't hatch. Do rocks hatch?" Henry turned to Charlotte and she shakes her head. "No, only eggs hatch." She waved him away and he gulped.

"So, the space rock was really a space egg?" Henry glanced at Ray and the man nodded. "Yeah and last night it hatched. Something mysteriously crawled out of it." He explained sternly.

"Well, where'd it go?"

"How the heck should we know? It just left that purple slime trail on the floor." Y/n sets down the device in his hand and crouched down to touch the purple liquid.

"So, you're saying that some creature from outer space crawled out of that egg rock and now it's somewhere around here, but you don't know where it is?" Charlotte questioned and they nodded in agreement.

"That's completely correct." Ray said and she hummed in discomfort. "Okay then." she replied and calmly dragged her backpack off the floor as she strolled over to the tubes.

She mouthed a 'good luck' to them before she left the man-cave. Henry blinked and smacked his lips together to process her actions.

"So, she's gone."

Loud squeaking fills their ears as Y/n and Ray gasped at the familiar sound from earlier. "I hear it! Y/n, turn off all non-essential equipment" Ray commanded and the boy quickly shuts down the lights on the ceiling.

It was silent for a minute until Ray yelped out of nowhere. "Oh my God, something's squeezing me!" he cried and Y/n turns the lights back on to check.

"Wait.. Where's henry?" He mentioned and the blonde suddenly peaks his head out from behind Ray, who's legs were also around the man's waist.

"I'm right here." Henry replied beside his ear and placed his arm around Ray's neck to hold onto for support and the man struggles to push the boy away.

Henry spins on his heels and stared at Ray who was beginning to feel less paranoid. "All right, this is stupid. We don't need to be afraid." He scoffed and the two boys tilt their heads.

"Ahem, that's easy for you to say 'Captain Man." Y/n commented sarcastically and Ray frowned at his attitude.

"Yeah, you're indestructible. No creature is going to hurt you." Henry explained and fixed his hair that was getting stuck to his forehead.

"Oh yeah. What if it crawls up my leg? I don't need some alien thing all up in there." Ray huffed and thrusts his hips in the air as an example.

Henry grimaces at the way he did that and Y/n snorted at his expression.

"So, what do we do?"

"Let's just look around, how scary can that creature even be if we can only hear its--" Y/n began as the squeaking comes back to haunt their ears and the sound of it alone makes all three of them scream in terror.

They run around the man-cave shouting and tripping while trying to escape. They bang on every exit they could find but they wouldn't budge open.

They decide to use the tubes as their escape route instead. Since there was only two of them, Henry had to squeeze and fit with Y/n.

"Up the tube!"

"So, did you..did you find out anything about the space rock or egg or whatever?" Henry lowered his voice so that his sister wouldn't overhear them.

"Yes and well.." Y/n paused and closes the tab on the laptop as he gets up from the dining chair. Henry tilted his head and stared at the boy who went quiet.

"What?"

"What if that was just the first alien space rock egg? There could be dozens coming to earth at any moment and then they'll end up taking over the universe--" He answered very quickly and Henry pinches his arm.

Y/n yelped and rubbed the spot where the boy twisted his skin. "Calm down, that will never happen." Henry reassured and takes a small bite out of his chicken leg.

"That only happens in movies and it just seems very unrealistic."

"So you don't find the fact that a bunch of superheroes just casually exist and walk on this earth but when it comes to stuff like aliens.. you say otherwise." Y/n lightly whispered and then flicked the blonde's forehead.

Jasper happily comes through the front door in a cheery mood as Piper murmurs something under her breath and faked a smile. "--Oh yeah! I am the golden boy. You guys know my latest bucket podcast right?"

"Yeah?" Henry spoke and raised his eyebrows in confusion.

"100,007 downloads." Jasper said in excitement as Y/n whistled at the insane amount. "That many people downloaded your new podcast? What's the most you've ever got before?" Henry asked him after his friend took a seat next to his sister.

"..Seven!"

Piper stands up and clapped her hands together. "Wow, that's really great. I bet this success makes you feel so much better about yourself as a person" she responded and showed him a fake grin.

Henry squinted at his sister's behavior as Y/n chuckled. "It does. Later, I'm going to go to my Grandma's house and I'm going to say, 'Hey, Grandma. who's useless now?"

"Hey, she may be old but she can still boss you around dude." Y/n pointed out and Jasper nodded at his statement.

"True. Henry, can I go up to your room and record a special thank you message for my fans?" He questioned and the blonde agreed.

"Way to go, Jasper. You're a rock star!" Piper encouraged as the curly haired boy turned to look at them. "how I feel!" he answered and disappeared into the second floor.

Piper smirked and let out a small laugh of victory. Henry and Y/n share a look as they stared at the girl giggling on the couch.

"Piper.. What did you do?" Henry finally asked her and she covers her mouth to stop laughing.

"Okay, okay. I went on a website and for 10 bucks I bought Jasper 100,000 fake downloads. That way I can get him all happy and excited so later I can crush the look on his face." Piper clenched her fist and picked up her device again.

"Wow." Y/n spoke as he blinked in surprised by the evil intentions this little girl had on her mind.

A scream erupts inside the house as both siblings recognize the voice. "Mom?" Henry called and the woman bursts into the living room in a rush.

"Where's the bug spray? I need the bug spray and a baseball bat." She exclaimed as she quickly headed into the kitchen first.

"Mom, Mom! what's wrong?" Henry ran to the woman who was looking through the cabinets and drawers.

"I..I was down in the basement washing your backpack because it was all sticky inside and.. Oh, hi, who's that?" She questioned as she nudged her hand over to the teenager standing next to her son.

"Oh! Right. Mom this is is Y/n." Henry introduced as the older boy waved at the woman with a short smile and then the blonde turned to her in concern.

"So what did you see anyway?"

"There was this bug or maybe it was a rat, whatever it was it jumped on me and landed on my shoulder." His mom continued to explain as Henry noticed the familiar substance on her shoulder and reached for it.

He smudges it against his fingers and shows the H/c haired boy. "purple." Y/n whispered next to him as Henry's mother closes the cabinets.

"I got to go next door and borrow some bug spray! maybe a shotgun would work." She cried as she turned and slipped out the back door to the backyard.

"The creature must've crawled into your backpack at work." The H/c haired teen whispered to the blonde worriedly as Henry frowned at the realization.

"What are you guys talking about?" Piper questioned while still laying down on the couch.

"Nothing.." Henry answered and she scoffed loudly at his weak response as the girl sneered at him.

"You're nothing!" She hissed as Henry's eye began to twitch in annoyance and Y/n bursted out laughing.

"Alright, you ready?" Henry asked the H/c haired boy beside him as they sighed softly.

"Let's get it over with.. Go ahead and call Ray." He nudged as they both turned their flashlights on and pointed it down towards the dark basement.

"Ray, Ray!" Henry said after switching his watch and closing the door shut."Hey, I can't talk, Gooch and I are looking for the creature." Ray explained on the hologram as Gooch appeared and waved.

"Yeah, I don't think you're going to find it."

"Why not?" Ray asked as Y/n lightly grabs Henry's wrist to talk to him. "Because it's in his house." He said and continued to lead the way.

Henry shakes his head and ignores the fluttery feeling on his chest. "Gooch dropped my backpack off here, I guess it crawled inside." He stammered as Ray places a hand on his chin.

"Did you see the creature?" he asked and Y/n shakes his head at the question without looking up. "No, but it jumped on my mom." Henry scratched his cheek as the answer makes Ray worry.

"Oh, man, is your mom okay?"

"No, most of her face got bitten out." Y/n told him and signals Henry to be quiet. He nodded and watched Ray drop to his knees dramatically."..No!! It should've been me!" The man cried and Gooch raised his eyebrows on the other side.

"Relax, I'm just pulling your leg, she's all right." Y/n and Henry chuckled as Ray rolled his eyes at their prank.

"Never joke about that- she is one fine-looking lady." Ray complimented and put his hands on his hips with a small smirk.

Henry rolled his eyes at the way he was talking about his own mother in front of him. "Ray, will you just--" He began but was interrupted by a loud shout and a thud.

"--Y/n, are you okay? Did you find it?!" Henry shouted and slowly stepped further into the dark. "No, but I did trip on a pile of purple slime." Y/n grimaced in disgust as he pointed the flashlight at the amount of slime the creature left below them.

"Where are you?"

"I'm over--" The teen gets cut off as the blonde loses his balance on one of the steps and falls on top of the hero. "Here." Y/n managed to say with a small wheeze from weight laying on top of his chest.

"Sorry.."

"Question one, how often do you participate in surveys? A, often, B, rarely, or C, this is my first survey." Ray asked the couple standing on the couch.

"I think this is our first survey." Mrs. Hart answered and her husband nodded.

"Oh, hey. Captain Man..!" Henry called after appearing out of the basement with Y/n trailing behind him covered in sticky purple slime.

"Yes, boy-- Good God! what happened to your 'friend?" Ray hissed and the boy threw a small glare at him.

"Wouldn't you like to know?"

"So! Since you just happen to be here, maybe you can help us out with a problem downstairs?" Henry spoke and clapped his hands together in wonder.

"Problem?" Ray tilted his head and Mrs. Hart nodded rapidly.

"Yeah. We got a big scary bug in our basement."

"A scary bug, huh? Well, what do you say I take this down to your basement and teach that bug some manners?" He took out a blaster for them to see and they were amazed.

"That sound good to you, pretty lady?" He asked the woman and she started to feel safer.

"It does."

"Yeah, it does." Ray smirked as her own husband throws some looks at the woman who just shrugged under his gaze.

"So, good luck, Captain Man." Henry reminded and the hero pats him on the chest. "Right!" He pointed as he ran out of the room to go take a look.

"Uh, I'm not sure what all that noise is." Jasper wondered and pressed on some buttons on his radio set. The sound of crashing and shouting finally dying down.

"But right now I would like to introduce you to a special guest. So, please put your buckets together for Piper Hart." Jasper announced into his mic as he pushed the applause button.

Piper hides a knowing smirk crawling up her lips as she twirled the straw in her cup. She sits down in front of him and faked a smile. "It's so great to be here, Jasper. We're live, right?" she tapped the mic with her finger.

"Oh yeah. We're live on the web. Even my grandma is listening." Jasper said proudly and Piper nodded with interest.

"Nice. So, I hear your last podcast got how many downloads?" she mentioned as she took a sip out of her juice.

"100,007! ..So far." He grinned and she hummed in acknowledgement.

"Wow, impressive."

"Isn't it?" Jasper chuckled while leaning back on his chair holding a blue bucket in his hands. "It would be, except that 100,000 of those downloads are fake." she spat at the end and his smile slowly disappears from his face.

"Say what?"

Ray quickly runs into the living room in a hurry and looked around cautiously as the family- plus Y/n, stare at him in pure silence. "Hey." He greeted Mrs. Hart first after he calmed down.

"What happened?"

"Did you kill the creature thing?" Henry asked him worriedly and Ray stiffened at the question. "Almost. Did you guys see it crawl up here." He wondered and the four of them struggle to balance themselves on the cushions.

"What!" They yelled in shock and searched the ground below them.

"You lost it?!"

"No, no. But it crawled into the air conditioning vent. I think it might be headed up to the roof. All of you wait here!" Ray ordered and opened the front door.

"Captain Man?" Mrs. Hart called and the hero paused his steps as he peaks his head inside the home. "Yes?" he said as the woman holds onto the plunger she considered a weapon.

"After you kill the thing, are we going to finish the survey?" She questioned and he places a hand on his hip. "Oh yeah." He smiled flirtatiously.

"Will you go kill it?" Henry told him impatiently while frowning as the man snaps out of it.

"Fine."

Ray climbs the tall tree outside of Henry's room and spots the alien crawling out of the small vent inside. "--Because When you did your last podcast here I couldn't download Ginger Fox's new video." Piper fumed as Jasper squinted his eyes at her.

"Well, I didn't know you were trying to download something." Jasper said truthfully and she scoffed.

"Well, you know now! don't cha'?"

"But couldn't you have just told me that you were trying--" The tall hero suddenly opens the window as the two stop bickering and stand up.

"Captain Man?" Jasper furrowed his eyebrows and Ray casually slides inside.

"What the.." Piper muttered in awe as the man aimed his weapon at the wall. "No time for questions, die alien scum!" He shouted and blasted the creature going towards the ceiling.

Jasper dives for the bed on his stomach as Piper covers her head. "What's happening?" she cried and squeezed her eyes shut.

"What are you shooting at!?" Jasper yelled while lifting a pillow protecting his neck. An alien!" Ray gritted his teeth as the thing squeaked painfully and left a trail of purple slime.

Ray stops and grinned when he couldn't find the creature anywhere. Piper slowly looks up in curiosity as he spots the glowing alien laying on her cheek.

"Oh my God." Jasper crawled on the bed to get away and the hero points at her. "The creature!" Piper blinks and takes a moment to process his words as she slowly stroked her 'cheek' before screaming loudly in horror.

"Mom!" she cried and sprinted out of the room to get to her parents. Ray cussed under his breath and quickly went to follow the girl.

"Wait! Come back!"

"No!" Piper yelled and disappears down the small corridor with the man shooting behind her. Jasper shakes his head as pieces of wood and dust falls to the ground.

"Well, I may not have 100,000 downloads..but at least I don't have a slimey alien stuck to my face." He chuckled and stopped the live recording in satisfaction.

"It's on my face! It's on my face!" Piper repeated over and over again in panic as she bolts out the front door.

"Everything's under control. Little girl! Stop running so I can shoot it off your face!" Ray commanded as he caught up to them.

"He'll probably just shoot it off her face." Y/n assured the worried family and Henry smiles nervously beside him. Ray continously zaps the girl outside as the couple winces and hold each other.

"I got'cha!" The hero said and walked inside with Piper proudly, fresh smoke coming out of her messy hair. "Well, the creature chewed her cheek up a little but she's okay." He explained and she gritted her teeth viciously.

"I am not okay!"

"Oh, Piper, don't be a drama queen." Mrs. Hart told her and crouched down to attend her daughter. "Seriously." Her husband replied as he shook his head in concern.

The boys turn to their boss admiring the mother's beauty. "What about the creature? Did you kill it?" Henry nudged to get him out of his trance when Y/n asked the man.

"Oh, I think so. I shot him with this thing nine times and it crawled under a bush to die. I don't think that creature will bother anyone ever again."

"But, I'll have H/n look around the area later just in case." He said and winked at the boy covered in slime.

"Wow.. good for him."
