Charlotte stands by the doorframe as she watched her pal Jasper talk a girl in a flowery pink skirt.

She rolled her eyes in disapproval as Henry walked in and stopped right beside her. "..He's doing it again." She spoke as the blonde furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"What, Jasper?"

"Yeah. He keeps trying to make that girl Monica think he's Kid Danger" Charlotte emphasized at the end and Henry laughed.

"Oh, man" He said as they watched Jasper stretch his limbs in front of her.

"Ow" He said and 'winced' in pain, the girl gets worried and stepped closer. "Are you okay?" she asked him and he waved her off.

"Yeah. I just had a rough night at work yesterday.." he replied and her face lit up in amazement.

"Really? Was there a lot of.. Danger?" she whispered to him and he placed his fingers on her lips to quiet her down.

"Shh..You know I can't talk about my job." he told her and she gasped lightly.

"Ooh, sorry." She whispered as Henry lets out a quiet snort and pointed at his own face teasingly.

"He touched her lips."

"Who touched who's lips?" Y/n asked as the two were startled by his sudden appearance. Henry yelped and turned around, "Oh, it's just you Y/n." he sighed in relief.

Charlotte crossed her arms and turned as well, "Hey, not to be rude or anything but aren't you supposed to be back at Junk n stuff?"

Y/n shrugged, "Yeah.. Ray decided I should focus on my education now that I have some free time instead of just waiting around for crime to happen. Guess we'll be hanging out outside of work too, huh?" he said and they nodded.

He looked at the clock on the wall and then smiled, "Well, see you around." he waved and walked away.

"Wait! Aren't you still supposed to be in this class?" Henry called out to him from down the hall. "I switched out!! I'm older than you after all!" the male winked and waved goodbye to the boy.

After he was out of sight, Charlotte had to snap him out of his trance. "--Henry! Jasper is lying and that girl has dirty lips!"

"Oh, Right- Come on." He cleared his throat and walked into the classroom. "Hey, Jasper. What's poopinin'?" Henry greeted his friend.

"Henry, you guys know Monica." Jasper introduced the girl and smiled. "Sure." Henry nodded and Charlotte greeted Monica who waved at her.

"So, dude, trick or treating tonight, you still coming with us?" Henry questioned and then waited for his response.

"Yeah, I'm coming." Jasper nods and turned to Monica, "You want to come trick or treating with us?"

"I'd love to come!"

"Cool. Just remember.. a certain Captain might need my help tonight" Jasper placed his hand on her back and led her away.

"That's okay. I like danger." she giggled and Jasper smiled at her. "And danger likes you" he replied flirtatiously and Henry leaned over his shoulder.

"Hey, Jasper." He called and Jasper turns around curiously toward the blonde.

"What?" He questioned as he crossed his arms and the other boy placed his fingers on his lips.

"Shh.."

Charlotte pours herself some punch in a cup and waits for Henry to finish getting ready. The boy comes downstairs in excitement, "Hey, hey. Check me out!" he said and slowly swung the tennis racket with a long groan.

"What are you?" Charlotte nudged at his costume and he blinked. "I'm a zombie tennis player! Cool costume, right?" Henry smiled and looked down at his costume.

"Eh, Don't you think zombies are kind of played out?" Charlotte asked him and he chuckled. "Well, yeah, regular zombies. That's why I added the whole tennis element! So, now it's.. Boom, Fresh." Henry grinned and she sighed softly.

The doorbell rings and Henry's mother shouts from upstairs. "Hey, I think we have another trick or treater!"

"Yes, I heard the doorbell!" Henry yelled back and went to go open the door. A kid with the same costume idea as his stands outside. "Trick or treat" they said and held their pumpkin bag out.

"You stole my costume" Henry accused and the kid scoffed, "Just put the candy in the sack!" they said sassily and Henry looks back at Charlotte who only shrugged in response. He swings the door shut after giving them the candy.

"Boom, fresh" Charlotte mimicked him and he playfully rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, all right."

His parents come downstairs in a rush to find something. "Henry, will you help me find my car keys?" His dad said but Henry declined instead. "No thanks!"

"Hey, interesting costumes" Charlotte complimented and they both smile in delight. "Thanks. I'm a garbage man" His dad said proudly.

"And I'm a bag of trash!" His mom added and Henry held a cup of punch as a toast. "And I'm so proud to be your son" he replied sarcastically but they didn't seem to notice.

"I am so angry!" Piper stomped angrily downstairs, very unhappy with her costume. "Whoa. Who are you supposed to be?" Henry asked her and she scowled at the question.

"I was supposed to be Taylor Swift!" Piper shouted and her mom squinted at her outfit.

"Well, you don't look very much like Taylor Swift"

"Yeah, 'cause your stupid husband ordered me the wrong costume!!" Piper turned to her parents in accusation and her dad raised his eyebrows at the insult directed at him.

"My name is Dad and I am not stupid!" Her dad pointed a finger at her and she frowned even further. "I'm not talking to you tonight." Piper answered as she began stomping away and Mrs. Hart shakes her head with a sigh.

"That's not the costume you wanted?" Henry raised his eyebrows. "No! I told Dad to order me a Taylor Swift costume!"

"I made a mistake" her dad said and she refused to look or speak to him at all tonight. "And he ordered me this Jonathan Swift costume!" she cried out loud.

"Who's Jonathan Swift?" Henry frowned and Piper's face was close to becoming a tomato from the anger. "Exactly!!"

Charlotte stepped forward and answered, "He's a very famous 18th century author from Ireland." They all stare at her in silence and she pouted, "What? I'm weird 'cause I'm educated?" she replied and Henry's dad looks at his watch.

"Ooh, we're late for the party. We've got to go." He smiled and headed for the door. Mrs. Hart quickly reached for her bag, "I just need my purse."

"What? You're going to a party? I thought you were going to take Piper trick or treating" Henry said in disbelief at his parents.

"We were.. now you are."

"What? Wait!" Henry tried to argue but they didn't listen to him. "Sorry, got to take out the trash" His dad shrugged and opened the door for his wife. "That's me!"

"No! Mom, dad, please don't make me take Piper trick or treating! We had a deal!" Henry following them out the door, "You can't just.. I love you!?" he screamed and received a car honk in return.

"Stupid Jonathan Swift. Way to go, Dad" Piper said and walked ahead of the group while she kept typed on her phone. Henry and Charlotte following her around as she moved.

"So, Jasper.." Monica spoke and shook a finger at her, "No, no. Tonight you can call me Kid Danger" Jasper corrected and she giggled quietly.

"Okay, cool.. So, can I ask you something?" she said and he nodded. "Sure." Jasper shrugged and stopped walking.

"How come your costume doesn't look quite like the real Kid Danger costume?" she pointed nervously and he freezes.

"Oh. See..By wearing this fake costume, no bad guys will ever suspect that I'm the real Kid Danger." He told her, dropping some more lies over the other.

"That makes sense, right?" Jasper slowly panicking and she thought for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, that tracks." she smiled and he sighed.

"You guys, come on. We going trick or treating or what?" Henry called and they continued to walk over to the three waiting for them. "Yeah, let's do it."

"Okay. Let's start on Riverside because rich people give out great candy and then we can go--" Henry was cut off by his watch that started flashing on his wrist.

"Why is your watch always beeping?"

"Uh.. It's my boss from Junk-N-Stuff. I got to go see what he wants." Henry explained and tried to walk away.

"I'll go with you" Charlotte said and began to follow him but was shortly stopped by Piper. "No! We're supposed to go trick or treating" she glared and the two look at each other.

"Hey, I'm going to take Monica and go hit the houses on Riverside" Jasper replied and held Monica's hand. The girl moves her arm away awkwardly.

"Cool."

"We'll text you and meet up later." Charlotte waved as they nodded and left together to find some candy.

"We better hurry" Charlotte nudged Henry and he turned to his sister. "Yeah. Piper, let's go." He said, already annoyed with her attitude.

"No. I'm not going to your stupid store." Piper scowled again.

"I promised Mom and Dad I'd watch you tonight" Henry argued and she glared at him. "So, watch me stuff candy in my face!" she shouted.

Henry sighs and turned away from the demonic girl. Charlotte slides into the conversation, "We'll take you trick or treating right after" she calmly told her.

"Not acceptable. If you guys don't take me trick or treating right now, then I'll tell Mom and Dad--" Henry zaps her with a laser as she falls to the ground unconscious.

"Why'd you do that?" Charlotte panicked and turned to him in concern.

"She was talking so much!" He said in actual distress and inhaled. "Now, come on, we got to go see what Ray wants. Help me out." Henry going to grab Piper by the arms while Charlotte picked her up by the legs.

Barely lifting her off the ground, they continue on their Journey to get to Junk n Stuff.

On their way, they pass a grandma taking some kids trick or treating. "Happy Halloween! Just some bad candy!"

The door to the shop jingles as the two struggle to drag Piper inside. Gooch turns around and smiled, "Henry, Charlotte. Happy Halloween."

"Hey." Charlotte greeted as they waddle over to the counter. "What's up?" Henry said and Gooch looks at piper in confusion. "Who is that?"

"Oh, this is my little sister" Henry grinned and Gooch raised his eyebrows. "And when did you kill her?" He questioned and Henry turned to Charlotte.

"She's.. not dead?"

"Yeah, I just stunned her." Henry explained and Gooch holds a hand to his chest in relief. "Oh, good!"

"By the way, Where's Y/n?" Charlotte mentioned and looked around the shop.

"He's down in the man cave with Ray." Gooch told her and she nodded. "Got it, will you keep an eye on her while we go talk to them?" Henry asked him and the man agreed.

"Sure."

"Thanks." Henry and Charlotte move Piper to the corner and place her down gently. Omar gags in displeasure and Charlotte frowned at the sound. "Something wrong with Omar?" she glanced at the plant that was acting weird.

"Well..I just gave him a jelly bean. And--" Gooch was cut off by Omar vomiting out a liquified jelly bean that fell on Piper's chest.

Henry grimaced at the disgusting sight, "Your plant just puked on my sister!"

"Yes.. No more candy for you." Gooch said and cooed at the plant. Henry and Charlotte took this as a sign to just take the elevator while he's busy.

On the way to the man cave, the elevator comes to a hard stop. Henry and Charlotte stumble to their feet. "You all right?" Henry turning to her worriedly.

"Yeah, but I think I dropped a noodle." Charlotte replied with a pout on her face and checked the ground.

"Ray?" Henry called and Ray happily jumped out with his costume. "Happy Halloween! Look- I'm a cheer lobster!" he danced and shook his lobster tail at them.

"..A Cheer Lobster?"

"Is that like a thing?" Henry frowned and Ray nodded with a grin. "Yeah, it's a thing. Look. Go team! Please don't boil me or use a tiny fork to remove my flesh and eat me!"

"You look more like a lobster than a cheerleader." Henry explained and Charlotte chuckled.

"Well, there was no room for lobster boobs" Ray fixed his chest uncomfortably.

"Sorry, Ray. my costume barely came in and.." Y/n said, appearing behind the machines and then spots his friends beside Ray. "Hey guys, what's spooking?"

Charlotte pointed at his outfit, "Who are you supposed to be, Y/n? it's awesome."

"Simple, The men in black." he cleaned his shades with a cloth and put them over his eyes. Henry gawked and stepped forward.

"You.. are my inspiration for next year!" He shouted excitedly as he high-fived Ythe teen who giggled at his energetic outburst.

"Can you explain why you beeped Henry?" Charlotte lifting Henry's arm to point at his watch. "So you guys could come see our cool costumes."

"Aw, Ray. I had to zap my little sister to come here." Henry whined while Ray gave him a concerned look.

"You killed her?"

"No! I just stunned her. Wait, I think it was set to stun. Stun is blue and kill is red, right?" Henry looked at the colors on his watch and Ray waved him off. "I don't know. I can never remember. Y/n?"

The boy sighed at his boss, "You got it right the first time, if you used the blue laser then you don't have to hide a dead body. Congrats."

"Well, Thanks?" Henry blinked in confusion at what he said.

"Can we please go trick or treating?" Charlotte managed to say before the alarm in the man cave rang. Y/n strolled over to the monitors and sat down on. "Uh-oh, trouble." Ray said and waddled over with the other two following.

Y/n tapped on a button, "What's up, Gooch?"

"You just received a video from a man who claims to have captured Kid Danger" Ray becomes wary about the video but tells him to play the video.

A guy with a beard on his face appeared on the screen wearing a hat and a Grey plaid jacket over his red one."Hey, Captain Man. It's your old friend--"

"Pause!" Y/n was startled by the command and turned around to find Ray gritting his teeth and snapping his giant crab hands together. "Jeff. That guy is so stupid!" he spat and Henry tilted his head.

"How do you know him?"

"He's been a petty thief in Swellview for years now. I put him in jail like, a dozen times. Resume play." Ray yelled and they listened to the video in silence."So, guess what? I kidnapped your new sidekick."

"Aw, please don't be Jasper. Please don't be Jasper." Henry begged and Charlotte crossed her arms. "y'know its gonna be Jasper."

"Take a look" Jeff swings the camera over to Jasper who was tied up and muffled with tape. He tried to speak but only mumbles came out.

"Wow, I'm so shocked. who could've predicted?" Charlotte placed a hand on her chin and Henry rolled his eyes at her attitude.

"Hey, isn't that kid your friend with sweaty hands who loves buckets?" Ray pointed at the monitor and they nod. "That's him, alright."

"How can that Jeff guy think Jasper's the real Kid Danger?"

"Oh well, see..It's because he's a moron." Ray snapped as they continued to watch Jeff poorly threaten them.

"Oh, and I also kidnapped Kid Danger's woman." Jeff mentioned and turned the camera to a girl in a cowboy outfit. Ray rubbed his temple with his claw to calm himself down.

"Now, if you ever want to see them again, you better bring me, like..A million dollars. Oh, and I want two big-n-beefys from inside Out Burger. With fries. And don't forget the million dollars--" The video stopped and two out of four in the cave were shocked at the demands Jeff made.

"What? Is that guy insane?!"

"Nobody can eat two big-n-beefys" Charlotte shook her head.

"Especially not with the fries--" Y/n added and Ray scoffed at how they easily changed the subject.

"Whatever. Come on, Henry. Let's go rescue your friend." he replied sliding his gloves off to grab his bubble gum tube.

I..I can't go with you" Henry stammers and Y/n jumps up from his seat quickly. "What, why?"

"Because.. Jasper really likes that girl. He made her think that he's Kid Danger! So, now if I show up there with you she's gonna know he was lying." Henry explained and Y/n strongly admired the way he cared about his bestfriend.

"Don't you think Jasper should find a girl who likes him for who he really is?" Charlotte questioned.

"You know that's never gonna happen" Henry said truthfully and Ray sighed. "All right. We'll go rescue your friend, Come on Y/n." He motioned and Y/n pops a gum into his mouth.

"Fine by me." He said and blew a bubble with Ray as they transformed into Captain Man and H/n. Henry and Charlotte waved at them, "Good Luck!"

"We don't need luck. It's Jeff. Up the tube!" Ray commanded and left the man cave with Y/n.

The elevator comes to a stop and it opens to reveal Gooch with Henry's unconscious sister in his arms. "Hey, I have to go take my nephew to a Halloween party." He dropped her on the ground without a care.

"Later."

"I found them." Jeff said proudly and put a hand inside the purple bag of chips. He subconsciously tries to hand on to Jasper who was still tied up on the chair.

He proceeds to hover the chip over Jasper's mouth so that he can eat it. The boy keeps his lips shut as the criminal kept trying to feed him. "I don't..want--I don't want that."

Ray opens the door to the apartment with ease and Monica gasped at the sight of the Hero. "Captain Man!" she shouted and they turn to look.

"Oh my god, H/n too!" She squealed when she spots the teenage hero behind Ray and Jasper's expression slowly falls. "Uh oh--" He whispered as Ray gave one glance at Jeff and groaned out loud.

He whispers something to Y/n and the two agreed before closing the door again. They counted to three as they smash it open. "Dudes, the door wasn't even locked." Jeff frowned and looked at the red door that was on the ground.

"We know, Jeff. But I really don't like you, so we smashed your door." Ray explained and Y/n nodded.

Jeff looked at their empty hands in disbelief, "I don't see any hamburgers. Where are my big-n-beefys?" he complained.

"The only thing you're going to get that's big and beefy will be your cell mate in jail"

"Okay, well, when do I get my million dollars?" Jeff mentioned and Ray clenched his fists. "Okay, you're too stupid to talk to. Sit." Ray ordered and Jeff patiently sits on a stool.

"Hey, Kid Danger, we were worried about you." Y/n said and went behind Jasper to untie his arms first. Ray slowly walked over and avoided using any sign of sarcasm he wanted to use. "Thanks, guys. I was worried about you, too." Jasper glanced at Monica and she grinned proudly.

"Well, I knew you didn't need us to take down a petty criminal like Jeff." Ray replied and Y/n successfully sets the boy free. He goes over to Monica to do the same thing.

"Oh, yeah. I was just about to bust out of those ropes and rain down some pain on that dude." He lied and Ray placed his hands on his shoulders. "Okay, Kid Danger" He spun Jasper around to face Jeff, "Go to it"

"Huh?"

"Go show that criminal who's boss." Ray encouraged and Monica cheered. "Yeah, Kid Danger, go bust him up!" she then turned to Y/n behind her, "I love it when boys fight."

"Okay.." Jasper lifted a fist in the air, "This is what you get for breaking into people's cars and for kidnapping us on Halloween." He said and closed his eyes shut.

Ray takes out his laser and shoots Jeff on the chest, Jasper opens his eyes again after hearing the criminal fall to the ground. "Whoa!" He looked at his hands and then turned to Monica, "That was for you, Monica!"

"Way to go, K-D"

"Ugh yay, great job, Kid Danger. Hey, can we talk to you for a second?" Ray questioned and he nodded. Y/n making small talk with Monica on the other side of the room.

"Yeah, sure." Jasper replied and stepped closer to the crimefighter. "Listen, Captain Man.." He whispered and Ray sighed in annoyance.

"Yes?"

"I'm not really Kid Danger" Jasper told him and Ray scoffed.

"We know that! Now, don't you think you should tell someone else?" Ray nudged his head over to the girl who was very clueless and talking to Y/n. "But if I tell her the truth, she won't like me anymore." he frowned.

"How old are you, son?" Ray asked him

"thirteen.." he muttered and Ray patted his shoulder. "Then you're way too young to be lying to girls." he told the boy and Jasper looked down.

"All right, I'm taking idiot back to jail. H/n help these kids get home safely." Ray walked around to Jeff's unconscious body on the floor. "will do." Y/n gave him a thumbs up and led the two out of the building.

"Get up, stupid." Ray scowled and Jeff gets up as he reaches inside the bag to eat a few more chips. "All right, you know what? You are riding my last nerve!" Ray grabs the bag and repeatedly hits him with it.

"Come on." Ray dragged him by the jacket and headed straight to the police.

Henry and Charlotte carry piper outside of the elevator, "Okay. Just get her up. Careful not to drop her" he said and Charlotte tilted her head.

"Not to what?" she replied and Henry grunted at how heavy his sister actually was. "Drop her" he repeated quieter and she nodded.

"Okay." Charlotte reluctantly lets go of piper as his sister falls to the floor in a thud. Henry gawks at his friend and frowned In disappointment. "You said drop her!" she said defensively and the boy was so close to face-palming.

"No, I said--oh, forget it. Let's just take her to--" He started as Piper steers in her sleep and Charlotte notices this.

"She's waking up!"

"Yeah. Because you dropped her" He blamed and she shrugged. Piper opens her eyes and groggily spoke to them, "What happened?"

Henry drops to the ground closely next to her face, "You ate some bad candy" he explained and Charlotte drops on her knees beside him.

"Real bad candy.."

Piper adjusts her vision and turns her head slightly. "Why are you guys so close to my face?"

"Bye Monica, see you at school." Jasper waved and watched the girl head inside her house safely. The hero standing meters away just shivers at the cold air and walks away.

"H/n, wait up!"

The hero haults at his words and croaked his head to glance at the curly hair boy in curiosity. Jasper catches up to him and gasps for air. "Listen, I'm not--" he began but Y/n stops him from talking any further.

"Kid Danger.. yeah I know." He chuckled and Jasper awkwardly cleared his throat.

"Oh."

The night breeze fills their ears for a moment as the male takes a deep breath. "You like that girl don't you?" Y/n pointed at the girls house as Jasper stiffened and relaxed his shoulders.

"Monica? Of course." He admitted and the H/c haired boy hummed.

"Take it from me.. if that girl doesn't like you for you. She isn't the one." Y/n responded as the boy stared at him and slowly considered his words to heart.

"Damn, I have to go now but promise me you'll stay out of trouble?" He smiled after looking up from his watch and the boy nodded without a hesitation.

"Thanks for the Ted Talk!" Jasper shouted happily at the Hero running down the streets who waved in return.

"So cool!"
