Charlotte and Y/n look down at the pile of mail laying in front of them on the man table as they examined and read a few of the letters that were sent.

The elevator dings and the door slides open to reveal Schwoz as he drags a beige sack into the mancave closely behind him.

"Hey! Here's another sack." Schwoz called in his usual accent as Charlotte lifted her head and she gawked at the bag he carried beside him.

"No way! More fan mail?" She asked him in bewilderment as her eyes widened and Y/n turned around to look before groaning at the sight.

"That's it..! I'm taking a break." The H/c haired teen sighed as he moves off the couch to stand up and the Large Metal Gear Door at the top of the stairs lifted open and Ray appeared.

"Ya! Captain Man, Kid Danger and H/n are very poopular in this town." Schwoz explained as Ray walked down the steps and he casually strolled over to the three while holding something in his grasp.

"Schwoz.. I found another one of your diseased eggs in my tanning bed." The hero mentioned with a hint of annoyance as he moved to stand behind Schwoz and he raised the egg show him.

Y/n looked as he grimaced in disgust and walked over aa Schwoz turned around to look at the egg while frowning.

"He's not diseased..!" Schwoz replied a bit offendedly as he paused and then looked away with a guilty expression.

"Yet." He mumbles under his breath as Ray raised his brows and he lifted the egg to his nose to take a small whiff.

"How about.. let's not sniff it?" Y/n asked him as he shoots him a confused and disturbed glance.

Charlotte squinted suspiciously and glances at the three of them in curiosity wondering what they were talking about.

"Uh .. Eggs? Deseased?" She questioned as Schwoz began to pull out mail from the sack and Ray and Y/n turned to look at the girl.

"Schwoz gets his jollies by blasting eggs with all kinds of weird radiation so he can see what happens when they hatch." The taller male explained as he motioned toward the egg he was holding as an example and Y/n nodded.

"Yeah. Once, he tried to experiment on another egg which had the ability of a spider, a chameleon and a rat." The teen said as he paused and then he fell silent as the girl tilted her head.

"And...what happened to it?" She asks him in wonder and curiosity as he looked at her and he clears his throat.

"Let's just say, we didn't see it for awhile." He hesitantly tells her as a shudder went down his spine at the memory and she blinked.

"..Wow."

"..It's fun to create mutants!" The repair man insisted as Schwoz argued with ray who played with the egg while shrugging.

"Yeah.. Must've been real fun for your mom. Ooh." Ray commented as he faked a shocked gasp and his jaw drops dramatically.

Y/n rolled his eyes at the taller male's childish insult toward the other man as Charlotte let out a sigh.

"Heyy!" Schwoz exclaims as the offended tone in his voice returns and Ray shakes his head as he tossed him the egg.

"I want that egg off this property." Ray told him sternly as Schwoz reaches his hands out and fumbles to catch it properly.

He sniffs the egg as the back entrance to the machines opened and Henry walked out into the mancave holding a can in his hands.

"Hey, you guys..! Somebody left this can of whipped cream in the weapon room." The blonde called as he approached and pointed at the item in his hands.

Schwoz glances up as his eyes widened and he quickly jogs over to him and went to snatch it out of his hands.

"Da, da, da! Be careful with this." He scolded as he held it away from the boy and Henry blinked before his brows furrowed in confusion.

"Why?"

"..I show you." Schwoz whispers as he turned away from the blonde and the two turned toward the man talking with Y/n inches away from the elevator.

Henry stared at the H/c haired teen silently for a moment while the other boy was distracted showing Ray some of the fan mail.

It was only then when Schwoz cleared his throat that he snaps out of his thoughts and averted his gaze to focus on the short man.

"Hey, Rayyyy." Schwoz sang to get their attention as the two across the room raised their heads and Y/n was the first to note of the can of whipped cream in their hands.

"Yeah, what's up?" Ray questioned and the teenager quickly moved to the side when Schwoz pointed the can at the other man as a green laser shoots out.

The laser blasting Ray on the torso as the man's muscle stiffened and he grunted at the force of the laser that was burning through his shirt right to his stomach.

Y/n watching in amusement as Henry covered his mouth to muffle his giggles and Charlotte laughs in her seat.

The repair man lowers the can down after a couple more seconds as the teen snorted at the man's appearance.

His Hawaiian shirt burned through the crisp down to the hem as Ray looked down at his torn clothes in frustration.

"Ding dang it, Schwoz!" He hissed as Henry, Charlotte and Y/n laughed in the background and the girl shakes her head.

"Relax, you're indestructible." She reminded him as the man huffed and gestured toward his clothes.

"Yeah, well my shirt wasn't!" He retorted as he earned a few more giggles and he sighed loudly at his luck.

Henry feels a ping in his pocket as he reaches in and took out his phone to check his messages.

"Oh man, I'm late for dinner."

"I got to get home." He mentioned as he glances up at the three while putting his phone away and he began to walk toward the elevator.

"Wait, Henry!" Schwoz shouted after him as he rushed over with the egg in his hand and he stops in front of the boy.

"Do me a favor." He said as he hands the egg over to the blonde and Henry held his hands out to hold it.

"Take this egg to your house." The repair man told him as the blonde felt the egg shake in his hand and he could hear quiet gurgling coming from inside it.

Henry was taken aback by the strange sounds it was making as he looked at schwoz and pointed a finger at the egg.

"This egg makes me nervous." He blurted as he held a blank expressiom and the short man shakes his head while nudging him to the elevator.

"Just take it to your backyard and lay it in a boosh." Schwoz explained hurriedly and the blonde smiles as he let out a small laugh.

"All right. I'll put it in the 'boosh." He replied to him playfully as he turned to leave when Charlotte's voice suddenly called out.

"Hey, guys. Look!"

Y/n managed to get the box open next to Charlotte as he found himself pulling out a two layered blue and white frosted cake.

"Ooh! One of your fans must have sent you a birthday cake." She mentioned excitedly as Y/n stood next to her and eyed the cake silently in thought.

Henry turned to look in confusion as Ray glances at Y/n and Schwoz with a concerned frown.

"But.. it's not any of our birthdays." The man commented as they all looked at each other and Henry's gaze lands on the cake.

"You're one to talk.. It could be mine for all we know." Y/n murmured with sarcasm lacing his voice as Charlotte glances up and raised an eyebrow at the H/c haired teen.

"..You don't have a birthday?" The girl asked him curiously and Y/n turns to her as he cracks a smile and shakes his head.

"Nope."

The blonde watches the cake closely from beside the elevator while the two talked as he begins to realize something was off about it and his eyes widened in realization.

"You guys--move!" He shouted frantically and in slow motion began to run over and Y/n managed to drag Charlotte off the round couch.

Henry stops behind Schwoz as he places his hands on the shorter man's shoulders to spin him around to face him.

The blonde grabs the can of whipped cream from his hands as Henry throws a hard punch to his face.

"Ayyyy!" Schwoz's voice echoed during the slow motion as he stumbles and moved to the side while bringing his hands up to cup his nose.

Henry took this chance to point the can of whipped cream in the cake's direction as the laser shoots out and the top of the cake explodes into bits.

"Charlotte, are you alright?" Y/n asked her once the cake was destroyed and she nodded slowly in confirmation.

"I'm okay." She said as Y/n sighed in relief and patted her shoulder as he moved toward the table to examine the dessert.

"OWWW!!!" Schwoz cried loudly when the pain on his face slowly sinked in and Ray turned to his sidekick in disbelief.

"Heyy..! That cake was for all of us." The man announced as he motioned to everyone in the room and then frowned.

"You had no right!" He scolded as the blonde shook his head and he let out a sigh before moving closer to the table.

"I--I saw something on it.." He murmured as he went to go stand beside Y/n who was looking as well at the cake that was split open and the teenager gives him some room to look as well.

"Why was I punched in the face??" Schwoz questioned a bit hurt as the repair man continued to search for answers and Y/n backs up a little to pick up something off the floor.

"I may not have a birthday but.. cakes normally don't have wires sticking out of it." He said as he stared at the candle in concern and then handed it to the blonde beside him.

Henry reaches out to take the candle as their fingertips touch for a moment as it sends an electric shock throughout his body and he slowly glances at Y/n for any reaction.

Y/n stared down at their hands silently as he remained still for a second before he retreated his hand back to his side.

The movement was quick through Henry's eyes as the boy felt a little disappointed that Y/n pulled away and might have not felt anything.

But the blonde for sure did.. Henry recovers immediately as he turned away and approached the taller male slowly to show him the candle in his hand.

"This.. was inside that cake." The blonde mentioned as he held it up for the man and Ray grabs it to inspect it.

"It's a wireless video camera...you know what that means?" The hero questioned as he glances up at the two boys and Henry blinked while crossing his arms.

"Yeah, it doesn't require wires." He stated the obvious as the man deadpanned and then sighed at the boy.

"It means somebody's trying to spy on us here in the mancave.." Ray told him as he glances at Y/n and the teen nodded in agreement while the blonde frowned worriedly.

"I wonder who.."

"..I wonder why you punched me in the face!" Schwoz spat as he threw his arms up in frustration and Henry rolls his eyes as he moved his attention to the ceiling.

𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘...

𝙻𝙾𝚂𝚃 𝙲𝙾𝙽𝙽𝙴𝙲𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽...

"What happened to the video signal from the cake?!" Dr. Minyak cried as he watches the nurse beside him franctically type on the laptop as she tried to get it to work again.

"Something must have damaged the camera." She tells him as she shakes her head and his face scrunched in distress.

"Well, what could have--" He began as he heard a couple light knocks on the closet door to his right and he quickly moves over to open it.

"What do you want?" He sneered as he eyed the man who was tied up from head to toe who leaning against the wall of the closet for support.

"And how were you knocking?" He demanded as he frowned and tugged down the hankerchief that covered the shop owner's mouth.

The criminal leaves it hanging around the man's neck as they were able to let out a couple breaths and then they spoke.

"Who are you people? and why are you in my little biker shop for kids?" The man asked them worriedly as he felt a bit intimidated by the intruders inside his store.

"My name is Dr. Minyak." He introduced himself as he gestures at himself and then motions toward the woman by the laptop.

"She is my assistant, Nurse Cohort." He stated as she raised her head when her name was mentioned and she grinned widely

The man tied up nodded slowly as he threw her an awkward smile and then turned back to Dr. Minyak.

"And I am here--because I do whatever I wish to do." He spat as he grabbed the hankerchief around the man's neck to muffle their mouth and then takes a step back to slam the closet door shut.

He walked away as the woman's eyebrows furrowed before she gasps and then picks up the laptop with her two hands.

"Dr. Minyak! I was able to save a short video image before the camera stopped transmitting." She mentioned as she walked over to him and places it down on a nearby crate that was inside the store.

"Good.. show it to me." He murmured curiously as he leaned his hands on the edges of the boxed crate and she immediately pressed play.

𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘝𝘐𝘋𝘌𝘖 𝘚𝘏𝘖𝘞𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘚𝘛𝘈𝘛𝘐𝘊 𝘉𝘌𝘍𝘖𝘙𝘌 𝘐𝘛 𝘚𝘏𝘖𝘞𝘌𝘋 𝘈 𝘊𝘓𝘌𝘈𝘙 𝘐𝘔𝘈𝘎𝘌 𝘖𝘍 𝘊𝘏𝘈𝘙𝘓𝘖𝘛𝘛𝘌.

"Hey, guys. Look!" The girl called out in the short clip that plays on the screen as it shows a clear glimpse of her face and Dr. Minyak squinted curiously.

"Ah, a young girl.." He said as he steps back and he moved away from the laptop to concentrate as the woman keeps watching the video.

"..There's a boy standing beside her as well but I can't see his face." She called as her brows furrowed together and she looked up at the criminal.

"They must somehow be connected with Captain Man, H/n and Kid Danger.." He explained as his mind clicked and a smirk crawled to his lips as he spun around to face her.

"So, all we must do now is find her." He told her excitedly in a cheerful yet evil tone and Nurse Cohort frowned.

"And about the boy?" She questioned and he shakes his head with a light scoff as his expression quickly soured in response.

"Forget him! We find the girl and then.. we use her to destroy Captain Man, H/n and Kid Danger." He sneered while clenching his fists and the woman nodded.

Another knock on the closet door made them both pause as the criminal rushed over to swing it open.

"How are you knocking?!" He shouted at the shop owner who looked up at him with his hands still tied up with the rope.

"No way! That's a lie.." Piper's voice called on the phone as she sat up on her spot on the couch and reached for her laptop.

"I have way more followers than Stacey Dawber!" She replied as she scoffed and she balances her phone between her head and shoulder as she searched up the girl's profile.

"I'm telling you, there's no way that Stacy--" She explained midway as the page on the screen loaded up to show the other girl's profile and Piper froze.

"What?!" She shrieked as the curly haired boy entered through the back door and walked inside the home.

"I got to go." She told the person on the other line as she hung up and she plops her phone down beside her on the couch.

"Hey, Piper, where's Henry?" Jasper questioned as he approached the little girl sitting in the living room and she doesn't look up.

"Don't know, don't care." Piper told him bluntly as she shakes her head and her gaze remained on the laptop screen.

"Well, look what I found in your backyard." He mentioned as he attempted to show her the strange egg he found outside and her lips parted to speak.

"What? Another rock that looks like Miley Cyrus?" She retorted and the curly haired boy shakes his head as he grinned.

"Better! I found this weird looking egg." He explained as he pulled the egg closer to his face to examine it and the little girl sighed.

"I need to start posting better content." Piper mumbles under her breath as Henry appeared and he walked down the stairs to greet his friend.

"Hey Jasper, what up, Bud?" He greeted as he asked him curiously wondering what he was doing at his house.

"Henry! Look what I got."

"What'd you.." Henry began as he looked down at the boy's hand and he takes a step back when he realized Jasper was holding the same egg schwoz gave him earlier to bury in his backyard.

"Whoa! Hey.. what are you doing with that egg?" The blonde asked him nervously as he tilted his head and Jasper smiled.

"I found it outside in your bush." He admitted truthfully and Henry swallowed as he cleared his throat before he continued.

"Yeah, uh--you should put that egg back." Henry mentioned as he pointed a finger in the direction of the backyard and Jasper looked down at the egg while pondering.

"Nah.. I'm going to hatch this egg." Jasper stated as the blonde blinked and frowned at his curly haired friend in concern.

"No, you are not going to hatch that egg." Henry commented as his sister stood up and walked over after hearing the conversation.

"Oh yes, he is." She blurted as she took the egg from Jasper to hold it in her hands and she looks down at it.

"And we're going to stream it live." She tells them as she stepped away and Jasper nodded in agreement at the idea she presented.

"Yess!"

"Noo!" Henry shouts after him in disagreement as his face fell in disbelief and she shakes her head.

"Because that'll get me way more followers than Stacey Dawber." Piper murmured angrily as she thought about the many possible ways she can beat the other girl.

"Yeahh people love nature!" Jasper mentioned enthusiastically as he went over to her as he places his hands on his hips.

"Is anyone hearing my objections?" Henry questioned loudly as he looked at them and then shakes his head as the girl spun around.

"Okay, you go get an incubator and a Yo Pro camera." She said as Henry glances between both of them and Jasper nodded.

"Incubator, Yo Pro." The curly haired boy listed as he uses his hand to count the items they needed with his fingers.

"Please listen to me." The blonde begged them desperately as the girl thought for a moment and then continued.

"A tripod and a video light." Piper added and Jasper nodded as he memorized each item and taps his fingers.

"Tripod, light."

"I'm saying things." Henry spoke in frustration as he leaned closer to his little sister's face and she ignores him.

"And a grilled chicken salad." The girl told him as the blonde rolled his eyes as he spun in a small circle and plops down on the couch with his arms out.

"Got it! And what are you going to do?" Jasper questioned as she frowned and squinted at him.

"I'm going to eat the salad." She mentioned bluntly as the curly haired boy nodded and he steps back.

"Okay, I'll be back as quick as I can with all the stuff." He ushered as he hops away excitedly as he began to make his way to the front door and Henry shoots up from his spot on the couch to go after him.

"Wait, can we talk about--" Henry watches as Jasper opened and then shut the door behind him as he left the house.

His arms falling to his side defeatedly as he sighed before he turned to Piper and he quickly walked over to her.

"Piper, about that egg, will you listen to me?" The blonde pleaded as Piper blinked at him and then tilted her head.

"Sure." She spoke calmly as the short boy stared at her a bit hesitantly before continuing and he straightens up.

"...Thank you." He started as he swallows lightly and he shifted his spot before his lips parted to speak.

"See.. you guys don't know where that egg came from or even what kind of egg it is." Henry explained as Piper stared at him with the egg still tucked in her hands amd she moved to the couch to collect her devices.

She walked away after grabbing her phone and laptop and carried her things along with the egg away from her brother.

"So I feel like we should respect nature and just kind of let things happen the way--I see you leaving the room!"  He shouted as he watched the girl head upstairs and he puffed his cheeks.

𝐅𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊;

"C-can you uh.. move a little closer and also maybe close your eyes?" The blonde asked him sheepishly as Y/n furrowed his brows in confusion and then nodded slowly.

"uhm okay..?" Y/n trailed off unsurely as he carefully moves along the branch to get closer to the window and shifted to face him while closing his eyes.

"So now what--" The H/c haired teen called as he felt something warm and soft pressing on his cheek before hearing the sound of shuffling along with the window shutting closed and then just silence afterwards.

The teenager's eyes had fluttered open before he could process what had happened as he stared at the closed window and the curtains that were blocking the view from inside...

𝐅𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒;

"--Y/n!" Charlotte exclaimed as the H/c haired teen snaps out of his thoughts when she called his name for the fifth time and a warm blush spread to his cheeks when he realized he zoned out while she was talking.

"Oh, uh sorry.. Charlotte." Y/n murmured apologetically as the two walked alongside each other as they took a stroll around the park together.

Charlotte shakes her head as she turned to look at him and she raised her eyebrows at the hero in curiosity.

".. so what were you think about?" She questioned and the teen went silent for a moment as if he was pondering on what to say before he shrugged.

"Things.. lots of things."

"I would say it's nothing but really I would just be lying to myself." He tells her truthfully as he frowned and his thoughts continue to linger on the blonde as he stops walking.

"..I still wonder who sent that camera though." He mentioned out of the blue as she nods in agreement and stops beside him with a small sigh.

"Maybe it's better if we stop worrying about it, as long as it wasn't a tracking device right?" She replies as he turned to look at her and his lips parted to speak when his watch began to beep.

He lifted his hand as he glances down at the watch and then back at Charlotte as he places his hand on top of his wrist.

"Duty calls.. I'll see you at work?" He questions with a short smile as she nodded slowly and she waved when he started to walk away.

Charlotte watches him for a couple more seconds as she makes a small grunt and she shakes her head.

'Why can't Henry just tell him already?' She mumbles to herself as she sighed quietly and she takes out her phone.

She decides to walk around the park some more as she scrolled through her playlist looking for a song to play and she strolled down the path by herself with one earbud in her ear.

"Gather, Citizens of Swellview!!" A deep male voice shouted throughout the public park with his hands in the air as the man captures a couple citizens attention.

A person took off their headphones to listen as the woman smiled widely at the small crowd they managed to attract so easily.

"Come experience the magical magic of Dr. Magico!" The woman announced as she gestures towards the man and he bowed with grace at the introduction.

"With my assistant, Miss Direction!" He mentioned as she grinned brightly and places her hands on her hips.

"And now for my first trick, I shall need a volunteer." Dr. Magico called out as he lifted a hand up and showed them one finger. A kid with a red jacket and glasses raising his hand high with excitement as he jumps.

"Pick me! I love magic." He cheered as Dr. Magico's facade almost broke when the boy volunteered and he forces a smile while looking around for a certain person.

"We only need one volunteer!" He shouted encouragingly as the boy in the crowd started to get frustrated when he wasn't being chosen and steps closer.

"I'm one volunteer!!" He exclaimed as he gestures toward himself and Dr. Magico ignores him as Nurse Cohort turns her head and spotted Charlotte.

The girl completely distracted while looking down at her phone while she walked and the woman moved to the side to grab her.

The action startling the short girl as she was pulled to the front of a forming crowd and led toward a man wearing a black & red vest and red frames on his face.

"Oh! Perhaps this.. young lady can help us." She mentioned as she circled around Charlotte and the girl looked up confused.

"Me?" She questioned as she frowns and she took out her earbud and squinted at the two 'magicians' that were performing at the park.

Dr. Magico hid the sinister sneer crawling to his lips as he approached Charlotte and held a deck of cards right in front of her.

"Now, miss, pick a card.."

"And here's my special guacamole." Schwoz called as Henry raised his head up when the repair man slid a guaucamole bowl towards him.

Ray rushes towards the man table where the boy sat as he leaned forward against the couch and places his own guacamole bowl to Henry's right.

"Yeah--!? A-And here's my...! Super duper special guacamole." He stammers quickly as he glances at schwoz daringly and then at the short blonde sitting in front of him.

"Now, which one's better?" The taller male mentioned as Henry nodded and he reaches into a blue bowl filled with tortilla chips.

"Okay. First, I'll try Schwoz's guacamole." He said as Henry reaches over to his left dip it into schwoz's guacanole bowl first

"All right." The blonde commented as he quickly pops the chip into his mouth and he nodded slowly in satisfaction.

He chews and then swallows as he smacks his lips and then turned to try the other man's guacamole.

"Now I'll try yours." He tells ray as he reaches over to grab another chip and then uses it to dip it inside the taller male's bowl.

"Hm! Get in there.." Ray mentioned as he watches the boy dip the chip into his guacamole and Henry stops to glance at him.

The blonde chuckles lightly as he continues to dip the chip bit more into the bowl.

"Get in there good." The man commented as Henry lifted it up to lips and then pops the chip into his mouth as he tasted the flavor.

He leans back against the couch as he gave it some thought with his gaze on the ceiling as ray puts the bowl down beside him and moves closer to the boy.

"Okay.. now, think about the way the flavors blend, And you know, the mouth feel, and the way it hits the back of the--" He explained as he gives him some tips on how to taste and rate his guacamole properly and the blonde interrupted him.

"Schwoz wins." He simply replied as he grabs the drink next to him and took a quick sip as the repair man grinned.

"Ha!"

"What?!" Ray exclaimed as he looked at his own sidekick in disbelief and the shorter man cackled loudly.

"I win, I do better things to avocados than you do to avocados." Schwoz taunted as he mocked the taller hero and Ray gritted his teeth as he moved closer.

"No! I---I protest! This whole contest was a guacamockery!" He shouted in frustration as he moved away and the tube alarm went off as a tube came down on cue.

The H/c haired teen appeared in his hero suit as the tube went up and he walked down the small steps of the platform.

"I want a second and third opinion. Where's Y/n and Charlotte?" Ray called as he scoffed at Henry and Schwoz who began to grab some tortilla chips to eat out of the other man's guacamole bowl.

"Right here.. and charlotte's not back yet?" Y/n questioned and he frowned worriedly as the last time he saw her was at the park at three hours ago but now it was four o'clock in the afternoon.

Henry looked up as he frowned as well knowing the girl was always on time for work and it did raise some suspicion now that she didn't show up.

"No.. She's not--"

"She's late for work? Great! The one time we're doing something important." The man retorted as he rolled his eyes and placed his hands on hips before nudging the teen to come closer.

"Y/n! Come here and try my guacamole." He called as the teenager sucked in a breath and he grimaced at Ray before speaking.

"No thanks."

𝐋𝐈𝐋 𝐁𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐏

"Hey.." Charlotte's voice called out as her body floats inside of a large container filled with purple-ish pink glowing bubbling water.

Her feet luckily touching the bottom of the tank with her neck and head sticking out at the top as her eyes fell on the criminal.

"Hey!" She shouted loudly to the man standing behind the DJ setup as he readjusted the settings and he hummed.

"Mm yes? You have a question..?" Dr. Monyam murmured as he raised his head to look up at her and he motions at her curiously.

"I have--A LOT of questions!" The girl exclaimed in disbelief as she scoffed under her breath and then frowned deeply.

"Starting with, who are you and why did you stick me in this big box of fruit punch?" She asked them in confusion as she gestures at herself inside the bubbling water and she looks down at the tank she was being held in.

"You know who I am." He retorted as he sneered at the girl and he walked out from behind the DJ setup to approach and stand in front of the glowing tank.

"And I know that you know that I'm Dr. Minyak. Because I know that you know Captain Man, H/n and Kid Danger, which this image proves!" He spat as he pushes the flat of his front coat to the side to grab the remote from his pocket.

He spun around to look at the large screen behind him as he turned it on and showed her the paused clip they have of Charlotte smiling.

"Okay? So, what do you want from me?" The young girl questioned as Nurse Cohort throws her a glance and turns on her heels to walk away.

"I want you to destroy Captain Man, H/n and Kid Danger." Dr. Minyak urged as he raised his hand up and clenched his fist after emphasizing his words.

Her lips firm slightly as she refrained herself and avoided rolling her eyes in front of the criminal.

"Yeah, okay."

"Just let me out of this giant juice box and I'll destroy them right after I finish my homework." Charlotte added with a tone of sarcasm as she stared at him nochalantly and he sneered.

He felt unpleased by her sarcastic tone that he received as he straightens his back and chuckles evilly.

"Oh, I'll release you soon. After I take control of your mind through the use of musical brain warping." The man explained as he pointed and motioned at his brain as an example and moved away

"Musical brain warping? Pfff.. that's not a thing." Charlotte replied a little unamused as she remained calm and collected inside the tank despite how scared she felt on the inside.

"It is too a thing!" He shrieked offendedly as he stood behind the DJ setup once again and he glances up at the girl.

"You see, by playing the right combination of musical chords combining the keys of f-minor and d-flat.." He pressed on a couple buttons as he slides a couple keys up and down to create a catchy rhythmn.

He increases the volume as the tune flowed smoothly to the ears and he smirked to himself.

"--backed with the right funky b*at, the human mind opens up like a thirsty sponge into which I can place instructions through clever rap lyrics...which I've written myself." He stated as Charlotre blinked slowly and then she squinted at the criminal in confusion.

"So, you're going to take control of my brain by rapping?" She asked him as she felt a bit concerned that she might have to hear the man rap at his age and he places both of his hands on his chest.

"Oh, I won't be rapping.. for that I've hired unknown hip-hop artist Li'l Biggie." He told her as he motioned toward the door way as she turns her head and a young boy with long dreads and gold chains around his neck, wearing a red checkered hat and a blue demin jacket walked out casually.

"Earplugs." Dr. Minyak called and Nurse Cohort runs over to hand them a pair of earplugs while she puts some on herself to avoid being brain warped.

After they all made sure to put on the earplugs correctly, (minus Charlotte) Dr. Minyak finally pressed play as a beat flowed through the speakers.

"Now, Li'l Biggie, rap! Let my lyrics flow!!" He called as Nurse Cohort went over to the boy to hand him the blue microphone as she takes a couple steps back to join Dr. Minyak behind the setup.

"Get up, go on! Get out of this place.. Go find Captain Man and H/n. And bust their faces." Li'l Biggie began to rap as the lyrics left his lips easily as Charlotte felt a tingling yet burning sensation coursing through her body.

"Then take a little walk, don't talk to strangers. Pick up a club and whack Kid Danger." The rapper continued as Charlotte squeezed her eyes shut when her body started to twitch uncontrollably under the bubbling water.

Her eyes rolling back to her skull as she felt herself losing the ability to move and think on her own.

"Yeah, little girl.. You know the plan." He sang as water bubbles harshly inside the tank as the next part of Dr. Minyak's plan unfolded.

"Demolish swellview's heroic trio. Then come on back to the dopest song writer, Doctor, Doctor Minyak!" The young boy exclaimed into the microphone as he danced around and posed while the song enchants her mind.

The blonde takes another bite out of a tortilla chip that was dipped in Schwoz's guacamole as he moaned at the flavors swarming in his mouth.

"Mmh so good..!" He commented as Ray held his own guacamole bowl in his arms and rolled his eyes at the compliment Schwoz received instead.

"Yeah, see, I mush up the avocado and then I add the onions, the cilantro, the garlic!" Schwoz explained as Ray stood behind the couch holding his own bowl of guacamole that he made previously while mimicking the repair man silently.

"--and then my secret juices." Schwoz added with a wide grin and Henry paused as he stops cleaning out the sides of the empty bowl with the tortilla chip and looked at him in confusion.

Y/n shakes his head as he leaned back against the couch while he sat near the end and he chuckles.

The elevator dings as the door slides open and Charlotte walked into the mancave wearing a pair of black shades on her face along with a black leather jacket while wearing all black clothes underneath.

There was a change in her usual mannerism and demeanor that Y/n noticed right away when he looked up and he raised his eyebrows.

"Charlotte! I'm glad you're here." The taller male chimed cheerfully as Charlotte stops walking when Ray suddenly approached her with the guacamole bowl and she quickly does a scan on him.

Her vision tinted red as she reads the word target highlighted next to him and Ray held the guacamole bowl up for her to see.

"I don't know if you're a guacamole fan, but I made this pretty awesome bowl of my own--" The man was cut off when the girl took the bowl from his hands as she threw it to the far left side of the room and the bowl shatters on the floor.

Y/n stood up from his spot silently as he shoves his phone into his pocket and Ray gawked in disbelief.

He looked at the bowl that broke as he turned to Charlotte with a disapproving frown on his features.

Henry straightens up in his seat to catch a glimpse at the bowl she threw on the floor and he shares a look with schwoz.

"Hey! If you don't want to try my guacamole, all--" His scolding was also interrupted by a strong kick between his legs and he let out a loud grunt as he places both of his hands to cup his crotch in pain.

Y/n, Henry and Schwoz all winced as they witnessed the painful moment that had happened and Ray grimaced in agony.

Charlotte then places both of her hands on his upper arms before launching him up into the air.

Henry and Y/n's eyes widened in shock as the blonde shifted to sit up on his knees on the couch to look at the man who nearly reached the ceiling of the mancave.

The three of them watched as the hero fell back down due to gravity as he landed and faceplanted on the ground harshly.

He groaned as managed to get up on his feet trying to find some balance and the three glance at each other in silence.

"I'm okay!" He replied in a slurred dizzy tone as he quickly made a recovery thanks to his indestructibility and Charlotte began to walk towards them menacingly slow.

Ray noticed this as he began to take a couple steps back and almost trips over his own feet in the process.

"Guys, little help here..!" The man said anxiously as Schwoz moved in front of him defensively and Y/n blocks Schwoz as well.

Henry quickly jumps out of his seat as he goes to stand in the way of his friend who wanted to hurt the man for some reason.

"Charlotte..! What's wrong with you?" He asked her in a slight worried tone as his shoulders relaxed and he let his guard down to talk with her.

"How come you're--WHOA!" His words cut off when he was suddenly launched across the mancave after Charlotte had grabbed him by the shoulder and threw him over her own.

Y/n's was shocked by the outcome as well as the blonde lands on his side and rolls on the ground near the elevator with a grunt.

Charlotte turned back to face Schwoz and Y/n as the girl made eye contact with the H/c haired teen first and she moved closer.

Her eyes scanned the boy behind her shades and the word 'target' appeared next to him as well as she swings her arm out at him.

He ducks as she uses one of her legs to kick his side and he stumbles at the force and the strength behind it as she suddenly grabs him and threw him across the room where the blonde also was.

He lands on the floor with a groan as he laid there for a moment and he sat up with a wince.

The blonde now sitting and leaning back on a chair beside the elevator as he glances down at the teenager and Y/n looked up at him from the ground.

"Hey.." The H/c haired teen spoke as he cleared his throat with a small grin and Henry cracks an awkward flustered smile.

"Hey."

Charlotte turns away from the two as she faced schwoz and the repair man smiled nervously at the girl.

He yelped in fear as he quickly shrinked to the floor and decides to lay down on his back with his arms and legs positioned.

Y/n blinked as he turned his head to look at the short man on the floor by the monitors and Ray glances down at Schwoz in confusion.

"What are you doing?!" He questioned as the repiar man immediately shushed him and shot him a quick glare.

"Shhhh!! I want her to think I'm dead!" Schwoz whispered loudly as he stays still like a statue and Charlotte shifted her gaze back to the taller male.

"Whoa! Now.. Charlotte. No need to walk toward me." He stammered when she suddenly began to advance towards him and Y/n stumbles to his feet.

Henry thought for a moment before he let out a gasp as an idea sparked into his head and he looks at the teenager.

"what? what's wrong?" He asked him and the younger boy shakes his head at him as he moved to the side to tap on the elevator button.

"I'm gonna try to get her attention."

"What!?"

"Charlotte!" The blonde shouted as the girl came to a hault as she stood above Ray who fell back into the monitor chair after she almost closed in on him and turned to glance the boy.

"Come on! You want to fight me?" He asked her as he raised a hand and motioned her to come toward him.

"..Come and get me." Henry tells her as Charlotte doesn't hesitate to spin on her heels and steps away from Ray to head toward the sidekick.

"Henry--" The H/c haired hero began as Henry frowned and watched the girl walk closer in their direction.

"Trust me." He simply told him as the teenager hesitated before nodding and moving back as the younger boy continues to taunt her.

"Yeah, come on!" He mocked as she closes in the distance and reaches her hands out to grab him. He manages to avoid her grip as he twists around and pushes her into the elevator.

He pushes on the button again as the elevator closed before she could escape and Henry hurriedly approached the two men.

"Hurry, kill the power to the elevator!" He tells them frantically as Ray quickly went back to monitors as he pressed on a button to permanently turn it off.

The four sighed in relief as they moved to lean against the side of the couch and they all stared at the elevator.

Henry went to stand beside Y/n as the teen looked over at him with a light proud smile.

"..Nice work." Y/n mentioned as the blonde turns to him with a slight blush on his cheeks and he grins.

"Thank you." He mumbles as he glances at him and then averted his gaze to the floor with a small sigh.

"She's in a really bad mood." Henry mumbles as the H/c haired hero furrowed his brows in thought before shaking his head.

"She was completely fine when when went to the park earlier." Y/n mentioned to them other three and the taller male crossed his arms.

"..Then something's happened to her and it does not look good." Ray said as they all nodded their heads in agreement and Schwoz faces them.

"Well, at least we're safe for a litt--" Schwoz trailed off when the door to the elevator suddenly flew open after the girl kicked it down and the boys screamed.

The four of them falling backwards on the couch to get away as Y/n hops off to make a run for it and Schwoz laid back on the floor to act dead.

Ray scoots on the couch as he grabs the blue bowl of tortilla chips to throw some in charlotte's direction and Henry squirmed to sit up right.

Henry raised his head up as Charlotte made her way towards them and the man quickly hopped off the couch to land on his feet.

He moved in front of her as he raised his hand up to stop her as calmly as he could.

"All right, now Charlotte--" He began as Charlotte reaches up to grab his wrist and started to squeeze it tightly in her grasp.

"Ow, ow ow!" Ray yelped as he was easily brought to his knees yet again and Schwoz watches the scene unfold in disbelief.

Henry wincing as the girl let go of her grip on the mam as she shoves Ray to the side and he crawled away.

Charlotte gazed at the man silently as she steps closer to the taller male and Henry rushes up behind her.

"Charlotte, what's happened to y--" His words cut off after he grabbed her shoulders to twist her around and snatches the black shades off her face.

His eyes widened in shock as her eyes held a bright crimson hue color that hid her usual brown ones and he swallowed.

"A-ah jeez.." He murmured as he took a couple steps back but she only stepped closer toward him and his heels hit the back of the couch as he leaned away.

"No, no. don't be mad.. want to go get some ice cream or--" He asked her nervously as she suddenly grabs him by his shirt and tugs him forward to hit her forehead against his own.

Henry takes the hit as he stumbles and falls back between the round table and the couch as he clung to the table while he tried to get away.

"Charlotte! Now, you listen to me right now!" He shouted sternly as he pointed a finger at her and Charlotte spun around as her eyes catch him off guard.

He stiffened under her gaze as the Large Metal Gear Door at the top of the stairs opened and Y/n poked his head out from around the corner.

The man immediately began to back up from the short girl as his hand fell to his side and he smiled nervously.

"Or...we could talk about this tomorrow! You know what? I'll send you a text!" He quickly tells her as he shrieked and made a run for it with Charlotte trailing after him.

Charlotte follows him to the back area behind the tubes as Y/n walked out and made his way down when they left.

Ray ran out a couple seconds later down the short platform as the three of them watched him.

"Schwoz, drop the tube!" He exclaimed as the repair man nodded and Charlotte walked out afterwards.

She walked under one of the tubes as schwoz points a remote at her and the tube comes down to trap her.

The short man runs to the upper left near a machine by the wall as he pushes one a couple buttons and then swiped.

A blue particle wall suddenly surrounding and sealing charlotte inside the tube. Y/n walked towards them with his crossed his arms over his chest as he raised his eyebrows.

"What is that?"

"Neural neutralizing particles." He mentioned and the taller male looks up at the girl inside the tube who was unable to move.

Henry slips off the couch as he silently struggles to stand on his feet as he leaned back against the couch to use it as support.

"So, she can't move?" Ray questioned and the other man shook his head as he answered his question.

"No."

The two heroes sigh in relief as they turned to Henry who was still stumbling to stand straight and Y/n blinked.

"Need some help there, Henry?"

"No! No... I'm okay. actually I think I see now--!" He replies right before he loses balance and his arms flailed to grab onto something.

"..nope!" He added as he falls flat on the floor with a thud and the H/c haired teen shook his head.

"So.. You're saying there's a song stuck in her brain that's making her want to hurt me, Ray and Y/n?" Henry questioned as he finally recovered from the headbutt he got from Charlotte earlier.

"Exactly." Schwoz answered as the H/c haired teen sat on top of the couch listening intently and Ray turns to them after getting an idea as he strolled over.

"Hey.. Is there a way you could extract the song from Charlotte's brain?" He asked the shorter man and Schwoz nodded wirh a curious frown forming on his face.

"Yeah, sure, why?"

"Because if we have the song that she heard--" Ray began as the blonde's lips parted to speak as well when the man explained.

"--we can play it backwards!" Ray and Henry spoke simultaneously as the man made a reverse motion with his hands.

"This is my idea." The hero tells the boy as the sidekick tilted his head slightly and squinted without looking at the man.

"Mm I said it first." Henry replies very surely as an amused smirk crawled to Y/n's lips and Ray huffed.

"You did not! Who said it first?" He asked Schwoz and Y/n as the two share a glance before speaking.

"Henry." They answered as their response made the man grunt as he launches towards them and Henry moves in front of him to hold Ray back.

Piper sat on a stool with her laptop placed in front of her as she stared directly at the screen with a bored expression written on her features.

"When is that dumb egg going to hatch?" Piper blurted while shaking her head impatiently as the curly haired boy stood behind her near the dining table and he looks up.

"I can't make nature happen faster than it wants to. Believe me, I've tried!" He stated as the girl puffed her cheeks in frustration and she spun around on the stool.

"Look at my pear stream page!" She tells him as she gestures at her laptop to show him her profile and he leans his hands against the table.

"Stacey Dawber still has 26 more followers than me because our egg video is boring." She replies as she slowly turned away and Jasper looks down at the egg with a sigh.

The egg begins to shift slightly as the top of the egg shell slowly cracks and the curly haired boy gasped.

"Wait, wait, wait!" He called as Piper stops and she spun in her seat as she rose from her seat.

"I think it's starting to hatch." He explained as the girl blinked and she quickly moved over to take a closer look.

"It is?" Piper questioned as Jasper nodded and the two watch the egg with excitement and curiosity.

"Here comes the baby bird..! The circle of life!!" He cheered as they watched the egg hatch slowly and he leaned his head above the incubator which he would soon regret.

A moment passes as the egg finally hatches put of the shell and a weird looking creature pops its head out as the mutant screeches loudly.

Jasper let out a horrified scream as the creature shot up and launches itself into the boy's mouth.

"Holy cheese!" Piper exclaimed as she gasped at the sight before suddenly getting an idea of her own and she quickly grabs him.

"Wait! Stay in front of the camera." She ushered as she moves him to the camera near the incubator and she grinned.

"This is internet gold." The girl commented as she tugs him down towards the camera as she wrap an arm around his shoulders and behind his neck to keep him still.

"Beat this, Stacey Dawber!"

"Now, tell us what happened." Ray asked the girl who was now under control of herself again and finally snapped out of her trance as she sat at the end of the man couch.

She still felt a little confused and a bit disoriented due to the affects of the hypnosis she went through as she squinted in thought.

"Well.. I was over there, then you guys helped me walk over here to this couch." She murmured as she weakily pointed a finger at the tube platform and then at her current spot on the couch.

They all shook their heads at her as the blonde sighed at her answer and he frowned.

"Noo!"

"Before that.." Ray mentioned as he leans against the couch with schwoz standing next to him and Y/n kneeling in front of Charlotte.

"What happened to your brain?" Schwoz asked her as he gestures and pointed at his temple and she looks down to give it some more thought.

"It was.. uhm.." She mumbles as her mind had some trouble recalling a few things and then she gasps when it came to her.

"Oh! It was Dr. Minyak! He--musically brain warped me." Charlotte mentioned as she glances at them and Henry blinked before his brows furrowed.

"Minyak?" He repeats almost in disbelief as he frowned and the man perks up at the mention of the criminal.

"And his hot sidekick Nurse Cohort?" Ray asked her as he raised his eyebrows in curiosity and they all turned to the taller male suspiciously.

Charlotte scrunches her nose a bit as she nodded slowly and the H/c haired teen scoffed.

"Of course.. who else but them?" He muttered as Y/n stood up and he moved to pace around the mancave.

"Yeah, well they were in a.. uh.. I think it was a motorcycle shop for kids?" She added unsurely hoping they knew what she was talking about since her memory was blurred and schwoz points at her.

"Li'l Bikers." He said with a small grin and she nodded at the repair man in agreement as she pointed back.

"That's it!"

"Well, then.." Ray began as he reached into his pocket to take out his gum tube and he tilts it over his palm as a gumball fell into his hand.

"Boys, I think you know what to chew and blow." The hero called as he walked to the side as Henry and Y/n joined to stand next to him.

"I think we do.." The blonde said confidently while holding his gum tube in his hands and he paused before turning to look at him.

"You mean the gum, right?" He questioned and Y/n blinked in confusion as the man squinted at the boy.

"Yeah, I mean the gum!"

"I was just checking." Henry added as he shrugged and pops the gum into his mouth before the teen also replied.

"..Did you have to say it like that though?"

𝐋𝐈𝐋 𝐁𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐏

Dr. Minyak and Nurse Cohort stand in the middle of the store with their backs flat against each other while being tied up.

Ray stands behind the DJ setup next to the H/c haired boy while grooving to the beat Y/n was playing on the speakers.

Henry slowly approaches the tied up criminals while holding a mic in his hand as he lifts it up to his lips as rhymes began to flow out of him.

"Hey y'all, listen up. You're stuck in this place.." He began as he followed the sound of the beat and Ray held a pair of earphones close to his ears.

"While Kid Danger raps while Captain Man & H/n are pumping up the bass." He rapped as Ray nodded along with the music while he jammed out and Y/n glances at him with a snort.

"Yeah..! P-p-p-pumping up the bass." The man sang along while changing the tone of his voice and the teen focused his gaze on the blonde.

"When we turn you loose. Here's the plan. Whack yourself in the head with a frying pan." Henry challenged as he rhymed and jumped in Dr. Minyak's hypnotized face.

"F-f-f-frying pan...yeah." Ray trailed off between his words as he paused and then resumed dancing.

Henry moved to stand next to the DJ set up as he let the music keep going and then he continued.

"You better listen, what I'm saying. And respect my rhymes. Whack yourself in the head 95 times." Henry encouraged as he lifted his leg up to kick the air and the music comes to an end.

Henry sets the mic down near the Dj set up as Ray and Y/n took off the headphones and stepped down to approach the blonde.

"Okay, I'll untie them." Ray told the boys as he walked over to the criminals to work on the knots of the rope and Y/n nodded.

"We'll get the frying pans." Henry mentioned as he and Y/n walked to the corner to grab the kitchen items.

"This is going to be so good." Y/n commented as he felt a little better now that they were taking revenge on them for Charlotte's sake.

"Right?" Henry added with a slight giggle escaping his lips and the teen couldn't help but smirk widely in amusement.

Ray finishes up with the rope as he loosened it around their bodies letting it drop to the floor and he steps back.

Henry walked over as he pushes the handle of a red pan into Minyak's hand while Y/n puts black one in nurse cohort's.

The two boys then stepped back and joined Ray by the DJ setup while sighing as they waited patiently.

"I wonder if it worked.." Ray mentioned curiously as Y/n crossed his arms over his chest while the man leaned his elbow back against the setup.

"I guess it all depends on whether or not the music--" Henry's words were interrupted when Dr. Minyak started to hit his head with the frying pan on cue as Nurse Cohort soon follows his lead and Ray chuckled.

"See, that's nice."

"It really is." Henry commented as they watched the scene while tilting their heads a little and Y/n laughs.

"You know, at some point we're going to have to wipe their brains so they have no memory of Charlotte." Ray explained as the H/c haired teen looked at him and Henry nodded slowly.

"Yeahh, and then we should probably take them to jail." The sidekick spoke with his arms swinging lightly on his sides and the man hummed.

"Yeah." He said as there was a small silence and the sound of pans smacking was heard in the background.

"Should we do that now, or..."  The man questioned curiously as he broke the silence and the H/c haired teen shrugged as Henry squints.

"Mm nah.. No. I think we should let them do this for a little while." He tells them and the three of them watched the criminals with a look of satisfaction as they nod in agreement.

"Yup."

And despite letting themselves enjoy this amusing moment.. there was a gnawing feeling in Henry's chest as he throws a sneaky glance at Y/n and he frowned.

The thought lingered in his mind but he knew he had to tell him about Veronika sooner or later. Maybe possibly sooner than he thinks.
