I only hope that you would give us a chance to join you in taking care of her.”

Maverick said in a heartbroken tone, “In fact, you’ve always been the pride of your mother and me. Having a wonderful daughter like you has always been a great honor for us. I just didn’t expect that you would be so kind–hearted as to take over their family business, giving up your own career. It’s such a pity. Being a doctor has always been your dream since you were a child. The thought of you giving up on it just pains me…”
