Tiffany felt a pang of disappointment, but she had always admired Josiah. Seeing that he was encouraging her to go, she believed he must have had his reasons. She promptly nodded. “Josiah, in that case, please enjoy yourselves. I’ll be going now.”

Tiffany and Adrian returned together to Lysander’s home.

Adrian treated her like a little sister, offering a few words of comfort.

Lysander said, “I’ll repeat myself/consider me a cold–blooded creature. “Did you name it?”

Josiah said, “She’s helped you a lot, especially during… during the time after your abortion. She took care of you wholeheartedly. I don’t usually mention these things, but I keep them in mind. It would be best for Daphne to gain some experience as soon as possible by dipping her toes in. It’s always better than not having any options in the future.”
