“Dad and Mom have already accepted you. Does this mean you’ll be moving back to the Thorne manor in

the future?”

Lysander was growing increasingly agitated. “What exactly are you trying to say?”

“I’m not going to fight with you over the Thorne family, and you shouldn’t fight with me over Josiah. Let’s each take a step back. What do you think?”

“Nothing”

Lysanne was slightly irritated. “Do you really expect to have it all?”

“Firstly, by bloodline, I am the rightful heiress. The Thorne manor is always meant to be mine. What grounds do you have to challenge this?”

“Josiah, we grew up together since childhood. Don’t you feel any affection at all?”

“How so?” Josiah sneered, “You knew all along that you weren’t the Lysander from my childhood, yet you hid the truth. You accepted all my kindness toward you and had me on standby for over twenty years. Is that the kind of affection you’re talking about?”
