Josiah snorted. “I saw how well you handled things at Adrian’s house that day.”

A nurse nearby, observing their intertwined hands, teasingly asked, “Sir, is this your girlfriend?”

Lysander quietly waited for his next words.

“I truly have no idea where he is.”

Lysander pulled out her hand, intending to leave.

“Hey, don’t rush off just yet. Let me finish…” Josiah insisted, refusing to let go. As a result, he agitated the wound on his arm, causing him to wince in pain.

The nurse exclaimed from the side, “Please don’t move around, sir!”

There was no sign of the grip on her wrist lessening. Lysander closed her eyes, resigned, and said, “Playing the victim, Josiah? That’s not your style, is it?”

“As long as it serves a purpose, then it’s a good style.” Josiah gently pinched her wrist. “Sit down and let me explain it to you slowly.”

Left with no other choice, Lysander could only sit down on a chair next to him.

“Indeed, I did take Harry to the underground parking of Guerra Group,” he said. “He almost killed you, and I really wanted to end him. However, I’m not that foolish. Even if I had the ability to kill someone under the watchful eyes of the police, how could I make a man of over a hundred pounds vanish?”

Lysander asked, “And?”

“I taught him a lesson before letting him go.”

What lesson?”

Josiah chuckled coldly. “Doesn’t he have a penchant for using women to climb the social ladder? Well, I’ll just find him more women, then.”

Upon hearing this. Lysander’s brow instantly furrowed. “Find him more women?”

Lysander was speechless. “What happened next?”

“Later on, I had him released. He truly did walk out of Guerra Group’s underground parking alive. As for where he went afterward, I honestly have no clue. However, he does have some skills. Even the police can’t find him, which shows how good he is at hiding. It’s also possible someone is helping him, like Zachary-

At the mention of Zachary, Josiah glanced up to observe her facial expression.

She was still reeling from the shock of Harry having to deal with two hundred women, her mind a whirl of thoughts she couldn’t quite grasp, so much so that she failed to respond at all.

“Who are you planning to ask then?”

Just then, a familiar voice echoed from the entrance. “Josiah?”

Upon seeing the newcomer, Josiah’s expression shifted, instantly becoming solemn. “What are you doing here?”
