Josiah asked, “Has the money been transferred?”

“Everything is in place now. They mentioned that there should be a groundbreaking ceremony before starting the construction of the building and wanted to ask if you would have time to attend.”

“Tell them I’m not free.”

“All right,” Carol said. “When should we commence the project? I’ve selected three auspicious dates for you. to consider. Please take a look.”

The hospital granted Lysander a three–day grace period before she officially started her job.

On the fourth day, Lysander reported to the hospital early in the morning.

Since she had only just taken the job, her responsibilities were not many. Her primary role was to assist the obstetrics and gynecology department.

Fortunately, though her throat was still somewhat uncomfortable, she was at least able to speak.

This provided a great deal of comfort to Lysander, who had been tirelessly typing for the i

Compared to speaking, typing was indeed considerably slower.
