The television screen was showing the interview video of Mo Chen attending the financial summit. He answered the reporter’s questions with a cold and solemn expression.

Lu Qi paused the treadmill. She lifted a towel to wipe the sweat on her neck and stared at Mo Chen in confusion. She felt that the man on the television was not the same Mo Chen she knew.

Mo Chen’s appearance disrupted the entire city and even the entire financial world, and he became the center of attention.

The door to the entrance was forcefully pushed open. Lu Qi narrowed her almond-shaped eyes and looked at Lu Nuannuan’s arrogant and despotic appearance.

The police station released Lu Nuannuan so quickly?

Lu Nuannuan was so angry that she went crazy. She quickly ran towards Lu Qi and conveniently picked up the dumbbell beside the treadmill and threw it at Lu Qi.

When the housekeeper and nanny saw what she did, they did not have time to react. They just stood there in shock and shouted, “Ms. Lu Qi, watch out!”

Lu Qi frowned. She grabbed Lu Nuannuan’s wrist and pulled her back. She bent her left leg and pressed it against Lu Nuannuan’s lower abdomen.

Lu Nuannuan screamed in pain and fell to the floor.

When the dumbbell hit the floor, it caused a clear dent on the floor. Lu Qi picked up the dumbbell and glared at Lu Nuannuan in disgust, “You’d better stay away from me. I’m no longer the Lu Qi who was easy to bully you thought I was. If you want to hurt me, I’ll return it to you tenfold.”

Lu Han hung up the phone and walked to Lu Qi’s side with slight hesitation. “Qiqi, can

you…”

Lu Qi looked up at him. Lu Han stared into his daughter’s clear eyes and could not continue his words no matter what.

He forced a smile and patted Lu Qi’s shoulder lightly. “It’s okay. I will take care of it.”

“How are you going to take care of it? Will you apologize to Lu Nuannuan on my behalf?”

Lu Qi guessed Lu Han’s decision and said with a pained expression, “Dad, don’t do that.
