I Love You

Mia and Char sat down at the table. They were both handed a menu to look at but Mia's mind was so focused on how to tell Char how much she loved her. How could she do it without it upsetting Char as she knew what she had been through and she vowed that she'd never let herself love anyone else again. Mia had dealt with rejection in the past but this rejection would hurt her as there's a risk that she could loose the only woman she ever felt she could be herself around.

"Mia...Mia... AMELIA!". This sounded muffled to Mia but she knew the voice. It was her girl Char. "You were zoned out. Are you okay?" Char said in a soft tone with a concerned look on her face. "I'm okay Char, just doing some thinking. Anyways what are you having to eat and drink?" Mia said trying to change topics quickly before she blurted out her feelings.

They got on with their night at the restaurant. Mia caught Charlotte staring at her with a smile and it made Mia's heart skip a few beats. Mia wondered how on earth she was sat at a table with the most beautiful woman on earth. She wanted to confess her love but it was time for them to leave and the timing just didn't feel right. Mia put the money on the table for the meal including a tip. As they walked to the car in the pouring rain Charlotte spoke up "Mia tonight was really lovely, it's been a while since I've been to a restaurant as fancy as this one". "You're welcome, Beautiful..." Mia had realised what she had said, her cheeks instantly lit up in embarrassment, just as she was about to apologise, Charlotte kissed her, it was a kiss that Mia had never felt this before.

It was like an electricity feeling between both of their lips, it was a soft as cotton. Mia was so shocked that this was happening. She had no idea if Char actually meant this or she had too much to drink.

As Char pulled away Mia softly said "Char what was that...". "I love you Amelia Mae Roberts. No one has ever treat me the way you do, you make me feel safe and loved. I've felt like this for along time and it's about time I make you aware of it" Mia was taken back by this.

"I love you Charlotte, you mean more to me than anything in this entire world."

This was finally happening. The world felt like it had stopped for a second. It was like a movie where they both were stood kissing in the rain. This was a dream come true for them both. "Mia... come home with me"- C

"Are you sure?"- M "

"Yes I wouldn't want to spend the night with anyone else..."- C
