Tears and Comments

Mia and Charlottes friendship had flourished into something so beautiful. They had spent time at the farm with the girls, gone for meals together and even had movie nights watching all of their favourite films.

If anybody was watching from the outside they would think they were a couple when in fact they were really good friends.

Going to work felt a lot easier for Char now, knowing Mia cared for her and wasn't just being weird and flirty with her. She enjoyed seeing Mia's face everyday, she enjoyed the time she got with Mia and her girls. She couldn't imagine not having Mia in her life now. Char was half way through her therapy sessions now and only had 4 to go. She knew it was time to let Mia see a vulnerable side of her and find out what had gone on in depth but she wasn't sure how Mia would be with her once she found out all the trauma she had gone through.

Char walked through the doors at The Knight Nursery where Mia was waiting for her at reception, she was sat on the desk swinging her legs back and forth letting off a big gleaming smile. Marjorie had never ever seen Mia smile like this or Char for that matter. She genuinely thought Mia and Charlotte were a couple with how close they were getting.

Char looked up and saw Mia with a huge smile on her face, she did a cute 'BOO' to which Mia nearly dropped her phone which made Char giggle.

"What a nice surprise to see your face this early." Mia let off in an excited tone. "Well... I thought we could have breakfast together whilst I ask you something." Char said in a sort of curious but cute tone. Mia raised a brow thinking what could she honestly want to ask me. Is this the time me and char become an official couple? Is it serious? All these thoughts were running through Mia's head.

They both sat down in the staff room. Mia had toast and Char had her favourite Yogurt and Fruit. They were both chatting away and the thought of what Charlotte wanted to ask her was eating away at Mia.

That's when Charlotte went all quiet and then suddenly blurted out "I want you to attend my next therapy session with me.". Mia nearly choked on the piece of toast she had just put in her mouth. "What really, are you sure. Where's this coming from". Mia said whilst still trying to catch her breath from nearly choking. "Well I've been thinking Mia. You need to find out what's really been going on and what happened to me. I'm ready to let you in." Charlottes said with a curious but yet so reluctant tone. "Of course I'll come with you sweetheart. All I want is to know how I can support you better." Mia said.

Mia had a warm feeling in her heart along with butterflies in her stomach she wanted to admit her love to Char but didn't want to ruin the beautiful friendship they had created together. Mia also didn't know how to express this as she was always seen as the one who doesn't show her feelings, she was known as the mean redhead for a reason and she couldn't show people she was going soft now. It had been engraved in her since she was little that you have to be tough to survive in this world and she had trouble letting go of that.

Mia let off a big smile and said "Char... I've never met anyone like you. You are so strong and amazing.". This gave Char a weird feeling like she'd never felt before but it felt good. She started to form tears in her eyes and told Mia that she had never had someone say that to her before.

Charlotte was questioning her sexuality. This stemmed from a parent last week who saw Mia and Char at the farm with her girls. "You two are super amazing together. A proper little happy family. How long have you been with Mia.". This comment rattled char at first as she knew she was done with relationships and love but with Mia it was something else.
