Oak Doors and Movies
Therapy- Mialotte
There was a huge knock on the solid oak door. This made Charlotte panic. Who could this be? Her ex bringing back the kids. But she's sure he's supposed to have them till Saturday morning. She leaped up to peak out the blinds only to see it was Mia.
She ran to the door and opened it to see the face she was so desperate to see. "Mia... how did you know where I lived" as she leapt into Mia's arms as if they were a thing. Char just needed a hug and a very big one. Hugs is not a Mia thing and no one at The Knight Nursery ever hugged Mia not even Autumn, they were like sisters, so why would she hug Charlotte. She gave in and hugged Charlotte tighter than ever. It was just what Charlotte needed which made her sob uncontrollably.
Mia lifted charlottes chin up with her finger looking into Charlottes tear stained eyes "Char what's wrong? What's happened?". Char pulled Mia inside and Cried out " I know you care about me and I feel so guilty for how I've been with me. I've been dealing with so much trauma from my ex and I've been so busy with the girls I've never really had time toâ-". She was interrupted with a "Char calm down, I know that's why I never pushed you, criticised you or even commented badly on the things you did." Mia said ever so gently. This was a side of Mia no one ever saw not even Char. "I like you a lot Char and it pains me to see you like this. Let's go and do some self care. Yeah?"
Mia and Char spent the night talking things through, her therapy session and things that she had experienced. They watched movies together, got a takeaway and even had a glass of wine.
Char and Mia were under a burgundy throw which resulted in Char falling asleep on Mia's lap with Mia stroking her hair. Mia felt a warm sensation in her heart that she had never experienced before. She wasn't ready to admit to char that she loved her and wanted to be with her. The timing wasn't right and didn't want to ruin the moment. This is how they spent the rest of the night. Mia didn't want to leave Char alone, so she spent the night.
This seemed like Char and Mia had become friends. Even though Mia wanted her romantically she was happy to know char trusted her and wanted a friendship with her.
