55.Beginning of Destruction.

Hiii lovelies! Finally an update for you all. So common let's fill my comment box. 😘

Raina walked out of the meeting room with her head held high, a smile started creeping on her lips as she exited the building of that company.

Car was already waiting for her, she opened the door to enter inside but stopped and looked back once again.

The building was not too big, it was a small corporate company but it was special for her, it was her first possession and it was the first nail in Jayant's coffin.

She sat inside and told the driver to drive towards Suryagarh Palace.

Two days ago she arrived Jodhpur from her approximately 1 week long vacation and it's been 10 days since she saw any Rathore except Adhiraj that night.

She was not going to office either from last couple of days, because she had some other things to do.

From last two weeks she was planning to give a full blow to a company. But sudden plan of Mumbai hindered it but once she was back, she couldn't think of delaying the meeting anymore.

The main thing was it was a small businesses associate of Jayant and Sarvesh Raval.

Creating a loophole in the empire of Jayant and Sarvesh on her own was an enormous step for Raina.

The cab halted at the main entrance of palace, Raina came out of it and smiled a little at the view of those stone walls of palace standing proudly from so many decades.

A maid greeted her, Raina asked about the presence of King and Queen and maid told them that they were in between a meeting with few traders and it would take some time.

Raina nodded and walked towards her room. Placing her bag on the table, she sat on the bed.

She was feeling a bubbling happiness within her, her eyes moistened as she remembered the moment when owner of that company agreed to sell his company. It was the moment when Raina felt that her hardwork started paying off.

Apart from Akshit no one knew about her plan of approaching that company, she wanted to give it a try and to her luck, the arrow hit the bullseye.

A knock appeared on the door. Maid peeked inside and said, "Bai sa, Rana sa and Rani sa are seating in the living room."

Raina dismissed her with a nod. She got up and walked out of the room. After reaching the hall, she saw Uday Singh and Vasudha talking to each other.

Raina put up a smile and chirped,"Kaka Hukum."

Both of their heads snapped towards her as she approached them,"Ria!!"

Vasudha stood up and hugged Raina affectionately,"Finally, you got time to meet us, where were you from past two days? You returned back couple of days ago but didn't think of coming here?"

Raina wrapped her hands around Vasudha and closed her eyes, basking in her motherly warmth.

She pulled out and chuckled at queen, "Kaki Hukum, relax. I have something to tell you."

She made her seat down and smiled at Uday Singh, he motioned her to take a seat and she obliged.

After a minute of silence she started.

"There is this company, a small ally of Jayant and Sarvesh. Basically, it is running in loss. I approached it with a deal and guess what? The owner agreed to sell it, that too in moderate finances.", she finished on a chirpy note.

Uday Singh looked at her surprised, basically he was unaware of it unlike her other plans but a smile tugged at his lips seeing her so happy in these months.

He stood up and stepped towards her, Raina also followed his lead confused but her heart warmed up to next level when he hugged her, patting her head lovingly.

He muttered making Raina tearing up a bit, "Bless you my child. Keep smiling and nailing every chalange in your life."

She nodded her head not believing her vocal chords, all this love was so overwhelming for her.

He broke the hug and cupped her cheeks who were going red due to emotions.

He asked softly, "How are you feeling Lado?"

Raina cracked a smile, her voice came out a bit incoherent when she said, "Very happy Kaka Hukum. I can't believe that I did it."

He smiled caressing her head in adoring manner.

Vasudha came forward and held her hand,"You gave me a good news and now be ready to listen another."

"What good news?", Raina asked with casual curiousity.

"We have found an auspicious day for your and Yuvraj Sa's marriage. It's after three weeks. I will talk to Mr. and Mrs. Nagar today about it and then we will prepare for....", Vasudha couldn't control her happiness and started narrating her plan, but she stopped soon seeing a Raina standing there freezed.

"What happened Ria?", she shook her slightly.

"Ahhh... Nothing.",Raina looked at her for a moment and then shook her head.

Vasudha regretted not talking to Raina about this earlier but as a mother she had her own insecurities, not for her son but for her daughter. Raina had seen days worse then hell, the protective mother inside Vasudha didn't wanted to stake her safety at any cost. And all the incidents didn't let them meet even.

"Lado! Are you happy with this alliance?", she asked with a concern laced voice.

"Yes, I am.", a small smile broke on her lips when she nodded, squeezing Vasudha's hands in affirmation and assurance.

They take their seats and Vasudha was still looking at her face, whereas Raina was thinking about her life while staring at infinity.

"Kaki Hukum, I have to take some things from my room. I will be back in few minutes.", she said looking at her watch, she had to return back to Nagar Mension in evening.

Vasudha nodded, Raina turned to go back and pack some necessities of her so that she can survive her days in Nagar Mension without any problem..

After putting some devices and few official documents in her bag, she returned back to hall but suddenly she felt someone crashing her.

"Congratulations!!!", two voices echoed in the hall and it didn't took Raina to realise that the persons were none other then Adya and Adhvan.

"Thanks.", Raina chuckled in equally enthusiastic voice hugging them back laughingly.

Heavy footsteps halted their bubbly conversation. Everyone looked at the door of hall when Adhiraj entered inside with a blank face and his hair little disheveled because of extra disturbance from his fingers. He was looking down while walking towards them, it felt like he was lost in his own sweet world.

He stopped in front of Rana sa and said, "Baba sa, I have to talk to you about something important."

Raina was looking at him who was oblivious of her presence till now, but what caught her attention was his restraint voice. It was like he was trying to control himself.

"Of course Yuvraj sa, have a seat first.",Uday Singh answered in a calm tone.

He was going to seat on other sofa when Adhvan intervened cheekily, "Oh Bhai sa, where are you going?Take a seat beside our Bhabhi sa."

Adhiraj frowned and looked in the direction where his brother was pointing only to find her seating their.

She swiftly adverted her eyes when their gaze met, but he was just standing on his place, not moving, and thinking about something. He came out of his trance when Vasudha placed her palm on his elbow, she signalled him to seat beside Raina, he nodded and sat beside her.

Raina squirmed a bit when their shoulders brushed with each other. Raina looked at him discreetly but frowned other second when she got the view of his tightened jaw and rigid posture. Nonetheless, it was who he actually was. An expressionless person for the world. But why he was like this when he was with his family?

"What did you want to talk Yuvraj sa?", Uday Singh asked sipping on his tea.

"Baba sa, today Jayant Chauhan came in office, he was saying that he couldn't get hold on any appointment with you."

That's it, it took only couple of sentence to change the lively atmosphere into the gloomy one. Just a mention of his name and everyone's face was carrying an expression of disgust.

"Ahhh... I purposely ignored that idiot. Anyways, what did he come for?",Rana sa groaned.

Adhiraj remembered his face itched with a greedy smile and the voice from which cunningness was dripping profusely.

"Yuvraj sa... It's already been few months since you and Divya are seeing each other. Divya is certain about her answer and I am very much sure that you are positive about it too. I am not talking about marriage just now but it would be good if we announce your engagement with Divya. That's it. It will benefit Rathores and Chauhans both."

Rana sa put the cup on the table harshly, he felt his blood boiling.

"Adhiraj, but we are thinking of hitching you both after three weeks!!", Vasudha exclaimed.

Adhiraj was shocked, he looked at Raina who was seating their with a calm face but her fisted palms were giving away something else.

"Can't we just break the deals with Chauhans.", Adya asked concerned.

"No! Not this time, we did so much planning and plotting all these months just to keep them under our control, we can't mess it up when finally Raina is progressing towards her goal.", Uday Singh shook his head.

"But if you are planning our marriage after three weeks then obviously people will know.", Adhiraj reasoned.

"Actually, marriage will not take place here. It will happen in Udaipur, at Bua sa's residence as she wished for it long ago. It will be good, away from the chaos and paparazzi", Vasudha filled them with new deatails.

"So, it will be a close affair?",Adhvan asked.

"Yeahh, and then we will throw a grand reception party announcing their marriage.",Rana sa told them.

Raina shook her head. She felt like facepalming herself, the discussion was about something else but it stopped on their marriage.

She took a breath and said what was in her mind, "But, I want to rise on my feet stronger before all these. I wanted to acquire my place before revealing who I am. I want you all to introduce Raina Chauhan to the world, not Raina Kashyap. It is the point where I want to shrug off all the facades, I don't want to live like an anonymous person anymore. I want my identity back. I want that people will know Raina Chauhan first and then Raina Singh Rathore. Please."

She ended it with a soft whisper.

"Let's postpone this marriage for few months. ", Adhiraj sighed leaning back on the sofa making everyone shocked at his sudden demand.

Raina looked at him with anticipated eyes, but he was again looking towards his parents, ignoring her.

"No!!! You both are going to get married as soon as possible. I won't let Ria face that murderer alone. Nah!! Not happening.", Vasudha shook her head not ready to listen about anything.

"But Maa sa....", Adhiraj interjected only to be cut in middle buly his father.

"She has her own reasons Adhiraj, she is correct as a mother and I support her.",Uday Singh said, indirectly hinting that the marriage will happen on the decided date only.

Raina rubbed her palms in anxiety. She was not liking how the happy environment was overlapped with the tensed one. Silence prevailed and this silence was increasing her worry ,the rigid human seating beside her and his stiff attitude was not helping at all.

Vasudha shook her head and said after putting up a smile, "Dont spoil the mood now, it is a big day for Raina. Let's think about this tomorrow."

"As you say..", Adhiraj stood up and went towards his room without glancing back.

Raina looked in the direction where he went, an uneasy feeling settling in the pit of her tummy.

"Kaki Hukum, I am also going. Akshit and Diya must be waiting for me.", she said in a defeated tone.

Vasudha not seeing aby other option nodded.

Raina was going go get up but stopped and asked Adya and Adhvan, "Why don't you both come with me? We are going outside in evening. Come and join us."

Adhvan was going to deny because he had some presentations to complete but Raina pleaded with puppy eyes, "Please!!!"

"Just let me freshen up and then we will be good to go.", Adya said even before Adhvan could say anything else.

Raina agreed to wait for sometime while Adya and Adhvan skipped to their respective rooms.

Raina tapped her fingers on her knee, she took a deep breath. She was so happy but now her mind was hazy only.

"Raina, why don't you go and talk to Adhiraj? What will be more good if you both will find some solutions.", Vasudha said placing her hand on her shoulders.

"Ehhh... Now?", she asked hesitantly.

Truth to be told, she was not feeling like meeting him at that moment.

"I am ready!!!"

"Me too."

Both the younger Rathores came there, Raina also got up giving a apologetic look to Vasudha.

It was midnight when Raina was sitting in her room, looking at the stars. The creaking sound of door opening caught her attention.

Akshit peeked inside,  he entered the room when he saw Raina awake.

"Dude!! Why are you up at this time?", he asked.

Raina shrugged, "I was just reading the documents before signing."

"Don't work up Raina, calm down. Everything will be fine.", he hugged her.

She nodded while pulling back and turned to see the papers.

Taking the pen she signed on each place where her sign was required.

She picked up the paper and looked at with poisonous eyes, a cruel smile creeping on her lips and voice laced with hatred, "And with this I am marking the beginning  of his destruction."

She looked back at her friend who was watching her inquisitively.

"I will make them beg for their useless life in front of me. Just wait and watch. Hell is waiting for them.", she spat venomously.

Akshit took in a breath realising Raina's not so innocent motives.
