Adhiraj was walking in his palace enjoying his peaceful time.

A servant came in front of him and said, "Hukum, Rana sa is calling you in the main hall."

Adhiraj nodded his head in dismissed tone.

He entered the hall where he saw two elderly couples settled on the sofa with graceful smiles on their faces, chatting with his parents. And on the other sofa Akshit was sitting with another man.

Adhiraj acknowledged his presence,"Mr. Nagar."

Akshit stood up seeing him and came forward for a handshake,"Mr. Rathore."

Adhiraj shook hands with him with a calm feature, Akshit gestured towards the elderly couples, "Mr. Rathore, they are my grandparents."

Adhiraj joined his hands and greeted them with a polite bend of head, "Khamma Ghani."

They both said looking at him,"Bless you son."

Adhiraj sat down on one seat and looked curiously over the responsible members present in the room trying to decipher the motive behind the sudden arrival of Nagars.

Mr. Nagar started in his usual genuine tone,"Uday Ji, we have always seen Dia and Raina like our own granddaughters . Being the grandparents, we lovingly married off Dia. Though we came to know about Raina's old connection with your family, we still want to do Raina's marriage on our own."

Vasudha looked at Uday Singh frowning.

Are they against of the the marriage of Adhiraj and Raina?

This question started bugging her.

Uday Singh maintained a smile on his face, "Of course, she had been with you people all these years, safe and sound."

But still the stiffness in his tone gave away something else.

"So kind of you.",Mrs. Nagar said chirped.

Akshit messaged his men to come there swiftly as heavy silence prevailed in the room.

Akshit was keenly watching Adhiraj who was staring at table with passive emotionless eyes.

Adhiraj looked up to see few men dressed in white suit coming inside with big gift boxes in their hands.

Nagar family stood up smiling at the curious faces of royals.

Mr. Nagar said with a smile,"We came here with the proposal of our daughter Raina for your elder son Adhiraj."

Rathores stood up abruptly after listening their words.

"Although, you have already wished to get them married but according to traditions, family of bride should came to groom's family with proposal.", Akshit laughed making Vasudha giggle.

Vasudha came forward and hugged Mrs. Nagar out of joy.

It was night time, Raina came out of the Nagar Mension after dinner saying that she was going for a night walk.

Raina bit her lips in anticipation, as she unlocked her phone and looked at the text from him.

I will be waiting for you in the Cafe Dew.

She breathed out as the butterflies in her stomach intensifies.

She stopped and looked at the classy and cosy cafe and her eyes instantly fell on the sleek black car parked at a little distence.

"He is already here.", she muttered recognising his all time favorite car. She tryied to look at the seats near the glass window before entering the cafe but to no avail she couldn't see him.

" I am here.",she flinched at the sudden hoarse voice. She turned around to see him standing at a little distence.

She took in his appearance. Standing in his casual t-shirt with grey track pants and the position in which he was standing, crossing his arms in front of his chest was giving a perfect view of his veins and flexed biceps but again the aura of authority was contrasting with his alluring personality.

His eyes twinkled when he saw her walking towards him gracefully like always. He was meeting her after 8 days straight.

"You called me?", she asked instantly.

Adhiraj didn't said anything but gestured with his hands to walk opposite of the cafe.

Raina looked in that direction and saw the gate of a park. She walked beside him slowly and silently.

Raina glanced around seeing the park isolated and dark, the only source of light was the twinkling moon and few street lights.

Raina was waiting for him to speak something, silence was feeling comfortable as he walked with his hands tucked inside his trouser's pocket but questions were swirling in the mind of both humans.

"So you decided to give us a chance?", he asked looking straight.

"I did.", she nodded biting her lips.

"When you will return to Suryagarh Palace?", he frowned remembering the time when the elder Nagars said that Raina would be staying at the Nagar Mension in Jodhpur for days.

"Dadi instructed to spend my remaining time with them so untill uhh.....marriage... I am going to stay there as they will be in Jodhpur itself.", Raina felt something weird before saying the word 'Marriage'.

He nodded, not pleased with her answer though.

Something came in her mind, she craned her neck and said, "Sir? You know? Akshit said that he would do anything to stop you if I would oppose this relationship."

Adhiraj clenched his jaw, though he asked calmly, "So?"

A smirk came on her lips sensing his restrained voice.

"I just wanted to ask, what will you do if I will deny?", she asked.

"What do you think?",he continued to walk and look forward.

"I have known you from past 6 or 7 months only.And I have noticed one thing?"

"Whenever any company doesn't want to do any business with you, you let them go. But you don't let any other company in market to go near that project. Lastly, the company comes back at you, begging you to do the business."

His eyes widened a little at her comment, she didn't miss to amuse him at every chance.

"Damn you woman. Making me crazy.", he thought shaking his head with a smile playing on his lips.

"You were going to do same thing if I would have disagreed. Right?",she stopped and asked in a tight voice.

Adhiraj walked forward but stopped when he didn't sense her presence.

He slowly turned around and looked at her softly with lips pressed in thin line as if not going to say anything from his side.

She could see him with his walls down. She walked to him maintaining the eye contact.

It was one of those moments when her eyes were holding power and his were soft.

A bird flew over them, making a thin branch shake. Few dried leaves couldn't tolerate the jerk and they fell down, swaying in the air.

A yellow dead leaf fell on his shoulder, she saw it.

"Sir, learn to keep your business tricks away from personal relationships.", she said coming a bit near him as she brushed that leaf away with couple of strokes from her fingers.

She instantly went back, not realising the alluring glimpse of proximity she gave him.

He tilted his head sideways as a small charming made way on his lips,"As you order my queen."

That smile was rare, Raina was always fascinated how his lips would tug from corners to form an alluring curve, and the sparkle flickering in his eyes were looking more enchanting.

And listening "my queen" from his mouth was another breath hitching thing.

She muttered clearing her throat and looking away,"I am serious."

He pulled her again to walk with him by keeping his hand on her back a little. He removed his hand when she was standing beside him and ran through his hairs.

He mused resuming their walk, "So do I."

They walked side by side, lost for a moment. Life was going to take such a sharp turn. And this turn was scaring one individual. She was scared of the coming time unknown of what coming in her way.

"You agreed so easily.Why?",he asked.

No matter what how much Raina behave obedient in front of him but he knew her boundaries. That obedient behavior was just because of her professionalism, he knew that he was going to have a companion of his level. And she was vulnerable at that moment just because of her constant encounter with her past life. Once Raina will be over of this Boss and Employee relationship, she will show him her fierce headstrong behavior.

And it made him quite shocked when Akshit said that she agreed.

"Just went with my instincts.", Raina shrugged keeping the 'counsellor' and 'over thinking' away from her description.

"People doesn't make dicison just with instincts Raina.", he said with a poker face, as if scolding her for her childish ways.

"My instincts led me to some beautiful people earlier, I wish, they will do it now too.", she smiled halting her steps.

"I am trusting you with my life sir, it's in your hand to keep my trust or to break it.", she didn't look at him trying to maintain her walls.

He held her elbow to stop her and pulled her little closer.

"I like this nature of you, painfully straight forward. But Raina don't you ever try to cover up your tears with emotionless eyes, I can see through you. As you put it, I know what's going just by a glance. Tell me what is it?", he cupped her cheek with his left palm and asked in a softer tone.

Raina looked down, slightly ashamed as he again caught hold of her emotions but she looked up  after a minute. Her eyes were  turning glassy.

Adhiraj hand which were on her elbow went around her waist, not for getting sensual feeling but to remind her that he was there for her.

"I am scared.", she whispered.

"Why?",he asked running his thumb on her cheekbone.

She closed her eyes, and said what was troubling her.

"I am really not comfortable with opening up in front of anyone and marriage need transparency, it is scaring me but I am trying hard."

" I am giving in, that means I don't want to experience hurt,confusion,amd disappointment again. No matter what the situation is, I want you to never give up.",she demanded the promise from him in a strong voice.

"Please be stubborn enough to hold onto me.",she leaned a little towards his touch, pressing her cheeks on his palm.

"You trust me?", he questioned her in return.

She didn't answered but pondered over his question. Did she?

She looked down but after a minute she nodded meeting his gaze.

Adhiraj smiled, "Then leave this upon me, I will made you loosen up to me, I will definitely make it work out between us. Just always be truthful with this bond."

"I will.",she blinked as he ran her finger lightly under her eyelids to wipe that lining of tears.

She stepped back, and he let her go.

They continue to walk in the silence and the darkness of garden.

He was thinking about her words whereas she was continuously cursing herself remembering the recent moment.

They were walking continuously and aimlessly, trees were passing by.

His ears perked up listening to her next question.

"Why this sudden turn of feelings?",she asked this question, not particularly from him but from herself too.

She was feeling comfortable in his embrace, his proximity was not intimidating her to that extent like it was doing it earlier. Why? What was changed suddenly? Her feelings or the situations?

"Sudden?", he chuckled.

"It's funny,Right? That when a person comes in your life, and you don't expect anything but that person is everything which you needed. That person for me is you and I want to be that person for you.."

Her hands balled in fists, Was he talking about him or her?

Weren't those lines suitable for her? What was he for her? Nothing. But an incident, some revelations, few breakdowns and his confessions kind of confide them in a bond.

And the remaining drifts were filled by her consent to his proposal.

"Everyone was aware of my feelings but you my innocent wife.", she heard him whispering from behind.

"I know you are scared, I know you want to take it slow. I get it but I can't... It's been long since I have kept my feelings hidden, and now I call this extreme."

He took a step and stood beside her, his shoulder were touching hers.

The dark surrounding with the crickets making sound in the background were giving her goosebumps.

She ran tongue on her lips to moist them, keeping her face turned in opposite direction.

"I am not a romantic guy who will go on reciting a long speech on his knees with ring in his hand. I am not. I have always been straight to point and blunt, with my actions and emotions."

He held her jaw lightly and turned her to face him.

"I love you Raina Chauhan."

He whispered looking in her eyes,

"And I can't wait for that moment when I will make you Raina Adhiraj Singh Rathore."

He left her chin. Raina was shocked, she had already known it from  his talks but again how bluntly he said that, it shook her.

He was looking at her and she was staring at him, she flinched when a car honk on the nearby road boomed in the silent atmosphere.

Her gaze dropped to his T-shirts collar button when the intensity of his eyes went too much. She gulped thinking what to say.

"Aaaa... I..... Thank you, I love me too.",a smile broke on her lips.

He was amused at her answer, he knew that he was not going to get a reply of I love you too in return.

He shook his head ,"What are you doing?"

She shrugged looking towards the main gate of park, "Trying not to be awkward."

He held her cold palm in his grip and pulled her, "Come."

Sudden comfort engulfed her feeling the warmness of his comparatively big hand.

He walked out of the park holding her hand.

"Coffee?", he asked motioning towards cafe.

She shook her head and muttered,"I will go back."

She freed her hand and took a step back.

"Let me drop you.", he said.

"Nah... I will walk back.", she declined.

"Raina, it's night already.", he gazed her strongly.

"No worries sir, I like night walks.", she mused quietly with a small smile.

He didn't wanted to look bossy there so he agreed, but he made sure, "Notify me when you will reach."

"Sure.", she nodded.

She looked at the phone in her hand.

"Ahh... I forget to save your number.",she whispered quietly but he heard it anyways.

She unlocked her screen wanting to save his number instantly.

His brows pulled together in amusement when she typed 'Adhiraj Sir'.

"Sir?? I wonder Raina, will you still call me sir? Even when we are going to get married."

"Uhh...", she looked up at him with wide eyes.

She had never called him by his name and now calling him without using 'Sir' was appearing so weird but calling him sir in the coming scenario was weirdest.

"What will you call me Raina?", he asked normally but smirk was forming on his lips slowly and gradually.

"Why are you teasing me?", she huffed.

He chuckled and took her phone, after typing something he gave it back to her, "Here, take it."

Raina took a look at the screen and gasped.

His number was saved as Future Habby 😘 .

She hardly fought the urge to glare at him listening his soft laugh. She pinched her lips and edited the name back to only Adhiraj.

She looked up at him and frowned seeing him smirking mischievously with his arms crossed.

"Bye.", she turn around sulking and started walking without even sparing a glance at him nor she stopped to listen his reply.

He chuckled,"Good night."

He watched her retreating figure when he sat in his car and his fingers moved to ignite the engine.

Raina walked on the road forward, but her mind was still standing there, back in garden.

'I love you Raina Chauhan'

Words rang in her ears.

Love? Such an alien word for her. Like every other teenage girls, she never thought of a prince charming coming on his white horse to sweep up from the ground in his arms. Her heart was too much wounded, deeply scarred.

But she couldn't deny that even when he used to scold ger so much, it didn't stop her from feeling safe and secured around him. Earlier she thought that it was his personality itself but now she was wondering, was it her emotions?

Whatever,but she could say that she didn't had any superficial feelings for him.

If it was beginning of love then it was terrifying her. The feeling was confusing but strong.

She was not feeling overwhelming joy or euphoria as shown by cliche movies or novels, she was feeling a mix of emotions.Vulnerability, fear and confusion. A perfect rollercoaster.

She was feeling like what will she do if it all ends? It was scaring her. She was feeling like losing control over something bigger then herself.

She looked up in the dark sky, she had always adored the relationship her parents shared. Cute, comfortable and loyal. She was going to start a new phase of her life, if happiness is knocking on her door then she wished to have a similar kind of connection with Adhiraj.

She didn't realise when she reached Nagar Mension. She face palmed realising that she forgot to buy the baked items Dia told her to buy. But Gaurav was there for couple of days so he can handle the mood swings of Dia quite easily.

She reaches the main entrance and looked at her phone. Unlocking it, she typed 'Reached' and sent it to Adhiraj.

Adhiraj stopped his car at a distance when he saw her entering the premises.

He knew she wouldn't like if he would have forced her to drop, neither he could have left her as locality was kind of isolated in night. That's why to be on safe side he followed her in his car, maintaining a proper distance.

His phone pinged with a message, he saw her message. He shook his head at her too short text and drove to the Suryagarh Palace.

Guys! I know that we have already crossed 60 chapter and still they are yet to be married, but I won't pace up the story too fast and I am trying to write long chapters.

But hope you won't mind 70 chapters or 80 chapters, or we can even hit century😂😂 kidding, just kidding.
