When Raina left the room, heavy silence prevailed there.

"She had gone through so much.",Uday Singh whispered in distress.

Vasudha exhaled and got up from her seat.

"Where are you going Rani sa?",he questioned.

"I am going to check upon her, she was not looking good.",she answered.

He frowned,"But she said to give her some space."

Vasudha smiled lightly at him and said softly, "Kids say many things Rana sa, parents have to choose and do what is correct for them."

At that moment, Adhiraj knew that his parents cared for Raina like their own. And they were grieving for what she had gone through.

She walked out of the room , passing through corridors she was thinking how to face her. If her husband would have find her that day then she might be living a much better life, not in any shelter home.

She smiled remembering her furious eyes, she was confident just like Raghav and stubborn same as Naina. One can see her parents' traits in her clearly but Vasudha couldn't guess it before.

She turned the knob and entered the guest room looking for her, she narrowed her eyes when Raina didn't come in view.

"Ria!!", she called but got no replies. She was going to leave the room but sounds from bathroom caught her attention.

She moved near the bathroom's door and her foot fell on the pills scattered their, from there she heard the sounds of water very clearly.

"Ria? Are you inside?", she asked knocking the door, she listened carefully but no reply came out just few muffled voices.

She banged the door , the unlocked door creaked open a little due to the force she applied.

"Ria, Come out right now or I am coming inside.", she warned.

Finally she pushed the door after a minute of silence and got the shock of her life.

Raina was seating on the floor, all soaked, water pouring over her, eyes closed and head falling sideways.

"Ria!!", she gasped running to her, she bent down and shook her.

"Open your eyes. Are you listening me?", she tried but every attempt was futile.

She looked at the shower as water was also sprinkling on her, she stood up and turned off it.

She tried to wake up her again by tapping her cheeks and shaking her shoulder but Raina didn't buzzed.

Vasudha screamed in panic, "Is someone there? Help!!!"

She ran out from bathroom and then from bedroom to get instant help.

She was only ten steps away from the door when she collided with someone.

Adhiraj balanced his mother and looked at her, she was looking shaken up and her silk saree was also drenched.

"Maa sa, what happened?", he asked worried.

She pulled him with her, "Adhiraj,come fast."

He silently let her drag him.

"See,She is not responding. Do something Adhiraj.", she worriedly said making him stand in front of her.

His eyes widened, he went to her hurriedly.

"Raina, get up.", he tried to wake her up along with her mother.

They both panicked more when they saw blood oozing out from her nose.

He immediately sneaked his one hand under her waist and other under her knees, he said to Vasudha as he picked her up, "Maa sa, I am taking her to hospital."

"I am also coming.", she said and wiped the lone tear that escaped her eyes.

Adhiraj looked down at her while running to the porch area of palace.

He pulled her more against his chest to save her water soaked figure from cold midnight air. She was looking so peaceful but the atmosphere was contrasting with it. Gloom was a much better word than peace to describe the situation.

Akshit panted as he reached the place where all the Royals were waiting outside the hospital room.

Dia was just behind him, her eyes was swelled up from all the crying and lack of sleep.

"What happened to her?", he asked.

Just at that time, doctor came out after doing fast checkup.

"It's look like she had a hard mental breakdown, the main tension is bleeding from nose, it can be other reasons too but we can't deny the high chances of Brain Hemorrhage.", he informed.

"What are you saying?",they gasped.

"We are preparing the patient for MRI Test. It will clear our assumptions. Please be cooperative.", nurse said.

"And yeah, does she use any medicines? Or is she passing through some illness?", Doctor asked looking at them.

Dia came forward and wiped her tears before saying, "She sometimes uses relaxants to prevent panick attack, that's it. Few years ago, she did use some anti-depression pills and sleeping pills but later she left them."

"Sleeping pills and depression pills?Is she having some stress? Can you arrange her reports or prescription, it will help us to understand her health pattern and treatment will be quick.",Doctor asked with more attention.

"I think, it is in my phone. Let me check.",Akshit said taking out his phone, all of her and Dia's documents were saved in his phone for convenience, he had literally blackmailed them for it years ago, not his fault but he was really very protective of both of them.

His hands were trembling, he did manage to send the reports to doctor somehow. When doctor went away, Dia was going near her room but Akshit was rooted on his place.

She came back and pulled him along on which he protested, "Dia, please no."

He was not ready to witness her in that stress, he did that years ago and it had made his mind haywire.

"Shut up and come.", she hissed in annoyance.

Akshit better knew not to mess with a hormonal pregnant lady, so he followed her. He didn't want to but curiosity got best of him and he peeked through the door glass.

She was lying there with pale face and a bandage wrapped on her head, nurse was placing cotton near her nose-strils and an IV was attached to her veins.

He took a breath to calm himself and turned too look at Rathores, "What happened to her?"

Adhiraj came forward and placed his hand on his shoulder guiding him towards a seat, "Akshit, we need to talk calmly."

Dia and Akshit took a seat and Adhiraj started telling them about all the incidents line by line.

They both listened carefully, they didn't react much surprised.

Dia said remembering those days, "She was injured when she came in shelter home, she was very silent, in earlier days she didn't even gave reaction. After a couple of months she started opening up a little. It took us a whole year to befriend her."

Akshit rubbed his temple, "We knew that some rough information about her past but not the details. She doesn't like to talk about it so we didn't push further. We let it be."

"That doctor said she can be suffering from Brain Hemorrhage. Is it true?", Dia asked with shaken breath

Adya walked to her, her pregnancy was not helping her in tackling that situation.

She rubbed her shoulder and consoled her, " He just assumed that, let's wait for the results."

After half an hour a nurse came and informed them that doctor was calling them in his cabin.

They went their and took their seat

Doctor looked at Uday Singh and smiled, "Rana sa, it's a relief that she is not going through brain hemorrhage. But she just missed it by a blink. The bleeding from nose was because of sudden shoot up in blood pressure and lack of oxygen."

They felt some relief as he finished his sentence,

"Other dangerous thing, we found overdose of relaxant drugs in her blood. Maybe she took extra pills, it could have paved her path to coma. But again, our good luck. You all made it here on time and she is extra responsive to our treatment. You can take her tomorrow evening, we need to make sure that her blood pressure is regulated."

He turned to Akshit and said, "Mr. Nagar, I have read her reports. From what I can see, she was taking help from counsellor and psychiatrist but left abruptly. Why? I mean she should have continued it."

Akshit hesitated a bit but said after a minute if thinking, "After certain days of treatment, counsellor suggested to talk about her biggest fear, root of every nightmare. She tried a little but couldn't handle the after effects. So she left it, we tried to pursue her but she didn't buzzed."

Doctor suggested,"Whatever the reason is,I would like to suggest to continue her counselling,of course if she can handle it because I am seeing the aftermaths from my eyes."

"There is nothing to worry for now, she is pretty stable, it was because of stress and trauma. Just make sure that she won't face such severe condition again.She will be discharged tomorrow, home will be helpful in her speedy recovery.",he completed.

They smiled in hope.

It was near to dawn when the elder Rathores along with Khan Sahab decided to return back to palace on the insistence of Adhiraj so that they can be refresh to take her back , so they went back with Adhvan.

And a attendee room was arranged on the same floor for Dia as she needed rest and Akshit and Adya was taking rest on the couch.

Adhiraj was standing near her room, watching the lines moving swiftly indicating her stable heartbeat, bleeding from nose was also stopped much to relief, she was sleeping peacefully under the effects of sedatives. A nurse was in the room for any emergency.

Rohan came near him, "Yuvraj sa, Khan Sahab has kept those men who attacked Raina last evening."

His gaze went on her forehead on which a small bandage was wrapped, he looked back at him,  "Where?"

"In that warehouse in outskirts of city.",he replied.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath stretching his neck sideways. He glanced at his watch, it was 4 o'clock,he had enough time.

"Let's go.", he said with a last look on her and started walking in his usual dominant posture.

The car stopped in front of an old storage house, Adhiraj pulled out his wrist watch,keeping it safely on the dashboard and then he switched off his phone.

Rohan turned his attention to the sky whose dark colour was fading slowly.

They entered inside the building and went towards a room. Rohan was going to enter behind him but he stopped and looked back at him, "You stay here."

Rohan nodded and made himself comfortable on a chair kept in the corridor.

Adhiraj closed the door with a bang and just after five minutes screams started to boom in that old building.

Rohan sighed thinking, "What a great way to start your day."

He plugged in his earphones, trying to seize those voices.

Rohan's eyes were dropping in sleep, after all he had sacrificed his sleep all night to stay beside Adhiraj. He was almost drooling when the door opened and Adhiraj came out.

Rohan rubbed his eyes and saw him wiping his knuckles from tissue paper, he turned to another man standing with his head bent down and said, "Dispose the bodies. I don't want any mistakes."

That man nodded his head, "Jii Hukum."

(Yes, your highness.)

Rohan looked at him bewildered, "Bodies?"

Adhiraj nodded taking a bottle from a nearby table and drinking water from it.

Rohan shook his head, "From where you get so much stamina to kill in morning?"

Adhiraj rolled his eyes.

"We are going to your home.",he said and started going outside.

"Why? I mean, the sun is going to rise in few minutes, don't you have to return to hospital?"

Adhiraj turned to him with bored expression, "Do you want me to go hospital like this? They will admit me thinking that I am injured."

Rohan looked at his shirt tainted with a little sprinkles of blood here and there.

Rohan nodded his head and drove the car to his house, Adhiraj was all silent during that time, thinking about all the incidents.

He had felt it that she was hiding many things, he had felt it that she was vulnerable from inside but the extreme of problems she had faced was out of his thinking.

Her red and furious eyes, clenching fist, ragged breath, unconscious body, pale face. Everything was enough to tell him that she was still living in her past.

"I have a question.", his attention diverted from her to his friend.

He nodded telling him to continue.

"From what you have told me about Raina, I can conclude that she won't be cool with violence and blood, will you be able handle yourself around her if things will not go on like you have planned?", he asked in a apprehension laced voice.

He had a much bigger doubt. Earlier he was thinking that Adhiraj can gon on forcing Raina into relationship but now he knew that Raina had enough in her platter to tolerate. She won't be able to see his bad side and he had seen king and queen last night, they were all worried about her. It can arise a situation of conflict,this was scaring his life out.

"Rohan, you have known me better. You know I am not that type of person who will let his emotions take control of his mind. I won't do something stupid.", he said calmly.

Rohan smiled in relief, Adhiraj's words were very less but emotions and promise behind them were talking in volume. Adhiraj was one of those persons who knew how to stand on his words.

Naina was from a middle class family, a simple young woman from a conservative background but free thoughts.

Naina's marriage  was arranged with a business man, Raghav Chauhan who was handling his ancestral business.

At first, Naina thought that he will be same typical egoistic man who will love to dominate his wife, she didn't have high expectations from an arrange marriage but she got new meaning of life after meeting and knowing her husband who was no way near to angry, dominant and egoistic person.

Raghav helped her to continue her studies and pursue her dream of opening NGOs for needy ones. Infact he himself had started working with her to expand her plan of better future.

In between all this, his business suffered a bit, his younger brother Jayant demanded his share of properties and went abroad for the business after taking his shares and cutting all ties with his brother.

On the other hand, Naina's NGO was a big success and Chauhans came in lime light. Eventually Raghav also pulled his business on right track.

Once, Uday Singh came to the NGO for a visit with his wife, Naina's simple thoughts attracted Vasudha and they clicked. Constant meetings turned them into friends.

Observing Raghav's honesty and loyalty, King invited him for the collaboration in his textile sector. Raghav accepted his deal .

Next few years witnessed the change,Raghav's textile buisness was flourishing and he became  a great friend and acquaintance of Rana Uday Singh Rathore.

Even after having a flourishing business, he took his time out for public work. Chauhans with the help of Royals established many hospitals, old age homes, schools for those who can't afford the price of quality life.

Their respect increased along with the closeness with Royals.

But they had a void in their heart, Naina was not able to conceive their baby. But all of their good deed paid off and they were blessed with a baby girl.

The day when they hold their little bundle of happiness in their hand, both husband and wife promised each other to always keep their daughter above any priority in the world.

Time flew, little Ria grew up seeing and learning from her mother and father who was respected a lot in by the people, her dream was to acquire the same respect for herself.

One day suddenly after many years Jayant showed them his face with a girl in his hand. Raghav welcome his brother and niece Divya with open hands. Earlier, Naina had a pinch of anger in her heart, but when he learnt that Divya's mother is no more, her motherhood woke up and she decided to let go of her hatred.

On the other hand, Jayant went to Spain years ago with a good and abundant property in his hand but in the lack of foresight, he sold his property gradually when he faced loss and eventually he was left with nothing but a daughter from a lady who had left him because of his bad ways.

He returned to India with Divya and was accepted by his brother but his success was not seating well with him. He started demanding his half share stating that he was Raghav's brother.

Raghav was kind but not fool, he agreed to invest if Jayant would go for any startup but half share in his property is out of league.

Jayant was feeling humiliated, the hospitals and schools Raghav and Naina had established could be used for a better income. They were like golden eggs.

He came into the view of Sarvesh Rawal, an old rival of Rathores. From Rawal's side, it was not a healthy business competition, it had turned more nasty.

However from different city but Rathores royalty didn't let him harm them in any bad way. Jayant was a golden opportunity for him.

He manipulated him and used him as a pawn in planning murder of  Raghav's family. Over the years, Chauhans had became a close link of Rathores.

Raghav's help in Uday's business was additional pain for Sarvesh so he decided to remove the thorn.

Jayant wrapped up in the cover of jealousy did as he said and killed his brother's family and especially his daughter who was going to inherit their property in future, at least that is what they thought.

After that brutal killing, Jayant immediately took control of Raghav's business and sold his shares. Uday Singh was emotionally weak that time, before the king would know, Jayant flew to Spain within a week of murder.

Even Sarvesh Rawal left Rajasthan for couple of years, he didn't want to end up in King's claws but even from a distance, he continuously tried to harm his business.

But Uday Singh rose, more scary and more dangerous. He gained the control of his business as well as his political power.

He still was looking after few of NGOs her mother established, of which he maintained to get his hand on correct time and even Jayant was not interested in those.

Just a guilt pricked King's and Queen's heart over the years, with hope they used to celebrate her birthday along with their friends' death anniversary.

Raina was in half seating position on the hospital bed, she was listening calmly as Vasudha and Uday Singh was telling her the old incidents seating near her bed.

Vasudha was holding her hand and caressing it looking at the scratches she got last evening.

Adya was sleepy but she was also listening seating beside the couch placed in the corner of room seating with Adhvan and Akshit.

Dia was seating beside Raina lightly massaging her head as it was paining a lot. Adhiraj was standing with his hand tied behind his back near Rohan and Khan Baba.

Uday Singh knew that she needed to know the whole truth, telling her that in that condition was not good but it has its own benifit.

If she would go on panicking than doctors were ready to treat her but she was calm even without taking relaxants.

"Why are you not reacting?",Dia asked a bit tensed at her calm face.

"I guessed it before, I had read the case file. Prime suspect was Kak-.... Jayant Chauhan and Sarvesh Rawal and they didn't attained any court hearings even. Businesses scenarios were telling their own story too.", Raina sighed leaning back to pillow.

Uday Singh smiled a bit seeing her analysing mind. He muttered, "Like parents,like daughter."

But his smiled vanished listening her next sentence, "Kaka Hukum, why didn't you do anything to punish them? You let them go so easily,why?"

Her tone was softer, her red eyes were turning glassy reflecting her inner pain.

Don't know why but her mere whisper was feeling like daggers piercing his heart.

When her eyes couldn't hold, a salty drop fell on her cheek.

He stood up and moved closer to her, he wiped that tear with his thumb. He placed his palm on her burning cheek and said in a serious tone, "I want you to be up from bed soon, all healthy. And then just one word of agreement from your mouth and I will burn them down to ashes. It is my promise Lado."

She closed her eyes and preparing her mind to fight a war that was waiting ahead of her.
