35. Little Revelation

The Crowned Prince

Word Glossary:-

Ladesar- Beloved(endearment uses for younger ones)

Kaka sa- Uncle

It was late in night when Rana sa called Adhiraj in garden. He was settled on the plush sofa, he had changed into simple cloths.

Adhiraj joined him soon, his hair tips drenched in water indicating that he just took a shower.

He frowned seeing his father seating there. He settled himself beside him and asked, "Baba sa, why you called me at this time? You should take some rest. Party was also very tiring."

Rana sa chuckled at his overthinking son, he placed his hand on his shoulder and said, "Don't worry Adhiraj. I am all good. Beside it's been long since we have some father son time."

Adhiraj smiled at him, from past few months their conversation had turned professional much. Today he was seeing his father, not those small glimpses of fatherly love in King's eye. And he was the only one to be blamed, he had drowned himself too much in his business that he literally forgot that he is the Yuvraj of Suryagarh, he forgot that he would have to return to his home.

Rana sa started, "So Adhiraj, tell me how does it feel to be finally back at your home?"

"Beyond words Baba sa.", Adhiraj smiled looking at the faint outline of trees in that darkness. His face was devoid of any coldness and his conscious devoid of any invisible wall.

At that moment he was not that infamous businessman, he was son of his father, the same 'Ladesar' of Rana Uday Singh Rathore who used to seat in his lap and used to talk his heart out.

"I and your Maa sa missed you all three.", Rana sa sighed.

Adhiraj said looking at the small lamps trying to enlighten the garden in night, "Baba sa. Today, I felt that I achieved what I wanted. Listening my parents describing about me proudly in front of people felt like the biggest achievement."

Uday Singh was listening him with a smile. He tightened his hold around Adhiraj's shoulder in an assuring way and said, "Many more to come Adhiraj. What you got today was the result of your hardwork and struggle."

They both smiled at each other.

After a minute Uday Singh said, "Khan told me about your demand."

A heavy atmosphere started arising, Adhiraj kept his mouth shut apprehensive of his father's reaction.

Uday looked at his son whose eyes was fixed on his feet, "I thought you were away from all this.. Leave it. But how many?"

Adhiraj said still looking away, "I haven't killed any innocent Baba sa. And back in Mumbai, business was tough. People tried to crush me by their diplomacy. When the couldn't, they opted for conspiracy. I didn't have any other option other then fighting back. It's not like I have not tried to stop myself but in last I was forced to jump in that web when they started bribing my own employees. You know it Baba sa, I hate traitors more then enemies."

He looked at his father for his reaction but all he could find was a calm and straight face.

"How many have you killed?", Uday Singh asked.

"Two", Adhiraj almost whispered.

"What will you do with those men?", Rana sa asked again.

"Baba sa, it is clear that they were hired. I will have my way with them. I will try to know who is behind all this?" , Adhiraj frowned in last thinking about the possibilities.

"Eventually killing them?", Rana sa raised his eyebrows.

Adhiraj again looked away, "It depends."

Uday Singh chuckled, "Let me tell you who is behind all this."

Adhiraj looked at him with questioning eyes.

Uday Singh said, "Rawals."

Adhiraj was confused, "Rawals?? Who Rawals?"

Uday Singh patted his thighs, "You will know soon. Just relax for now, you have a whole new life ahead. Try to get comfortable in it. And talking about those men then do anything with them, I don't care . Even they are not angels, they are contract killers with numerous cases on them. But take care if one thing, no need to taint your hand with their blood, let your men handle them. You are now the official CEO of Rajputana. Make yourself more composed and hard. Don't let your rivals decode your emotions so easily. Apart from your friends and family don't trust anyone completely and don't make friends easily. Backstabbing is not a new thing here."

Adhiraj was little stunned but nodded his head.

Uday Singh said standing up,"If you are a king then no need to roar it in front of them , their accelerated heartbeats will define you better."

He patted his back and left the place leaving the young man lost in his thoughts. Adhiraj rubbed his forehead and stood up to go.

Raina came out from the bathroom after freshing up and settled on her bed, her feet were hurting because of heels, she started massaging them . Whole party she was beaming in happiness because of Akshit's arrival but her happiness short lived as Akshit went back in night itself.

Her trance was broken when she heard some weird sounds from her bedside table. She walk to it and opened the drawer hurriedly. She bit her tongue seeing a very simple and small keypad mobile vibrating.

She muttered, "Shit!! What if someone would have seen it?"

She unlocked the phone to see a massage- Ma'am, I have collected all the information about his property. I am mailing it to you.

She carefully hid that phone in her cupboard and dashed for her laptop, she opend the flap and started it. She was tapping the laptop impatiently as laptop was under going booting process.

Soon it opened and she started checking the recently received mail.

"Vine factory in Spain, high facility hospitals and costly school institutions with annual turnover in crores, textile and construction business running in loss.", she was muttering while reading the list of properties possessed by Jayant Chauhan.

"Vine and Alcohol factories are shut down by government due to cheap quality of raw materials used for productions and his company is legally sued because few consumers went through severe health issues. He is currently looking for an investor who can sail his drowning ship."

She remembered something, she again started going through his property list but couldn't find what she wanted, "Where is orphanage and villa? Did he sell them?"

She again started reading every detail sent by her informer but couldn't find what she wanted. Yes, she hired a private detective suggested by that old librarian. She couldn't afford going through the streets of Jodhpur in search of clues neither she knew any person who could help her. So she opted for an informer.

A repeating name caught her attention Sarvesh Rawal..

She started reading his role in Jayant's professional life. She couldn't decide whether Jayant is that stupid or their is some contract between them because what she saw clearly said that this Sarvesh Rawal was acquiring more authority in his company by increasing his share percentage continuously.

Jayant was directly inactive in Indian business from past few years giving a chance to Rawal to overshadow Jayant in his own company.

This business pattern was out of Raina's imagination. Sure she wasn't expecting her uncle to be crushed under loans and loss in business. Moreover he had changed every moral and ethical base in his work.

She slumped against the bed putting her palms over her face, "Kaka sa, should I even trust you? I don't know why but my heart is saying to stay away from you but you were my last hope, which is seemed to be breaking."

A voice emerged in her mind, 'Rana Uday Singh Rathore is also your hope'

She smiled sarcastically on her own thoughts, 'Hope? Does he even remember me? '

She shook her head 'Whatever, At first I will need to understand this scenario myself before going to anyone or anywhere.'

Jayant Chauhan gulped down another glass of whiskey, putting it with a force on the table he said, "He is his son, he is the prince and you sent your men to kill him. Now, what should we do? I didn't expect his son will be that successful even before becoming the CEO."

Sarvesh smirked seeing the news of prince's arrival on every news channel, "It's better that my men couldn't kill him, earlier I just wanted to stop the entry of another helping hand of Rajputana. But it's okey, now I will have more fun."

He sipped his drink watching the face of Adhiraj flashing on the T.V. screen, his eyes holding same pride as his father.

He listened Jayanti blabbering, "That king. That Uday Singh Rathore kicked me out of his office, I swear I will avenge my insult. But how?"

Sarvesh put down his glass and calmly said, "You know, when the door closes, you should open the window to enter."

Jayant looked at him with his drowsy eyes, "What do you mean?"

Sarvesh ignored his question and asked, "I heard that your daughter is back?"

Jayant nodded his head and forwarded his hand to grab another glass.

Sarvesh leaned back on his recliner chair and said, "Time to use a Trump Card named Maheshwari Sisodiya in this game."

Next day in office was very fussy. Everyone was talking about Adhiraj whereas Raina was hiding herself inside her cubicle.

Her head was pounding hard due to the noisy office and lack of sleep and overthinking last night.

She couldn't tolerate anymore, putting the notepad on the table with a bang she stood up.

She was watching outside the big window while waiting for her coffee. She felt someone calling her, turning behind she saw Mr. Agarwal waiving at her .

She smiled and went near him, he motioned her to take a seat. She settled herself on the opposite chair and asked, "So sir? Coffee break?"

Mr. Aggarwal nodded his head, "A new discovery- Mr. Aggarwal is a human being so he needs break too."

Raina laughed on that.

Mr. Aggarwal asked, "Finally your friends dumped you?"

Raina didn't understood, "Ummm??"

"I mean, Neha is on medical leave and Adya is stucked in legal meetings so finally you are alone?"

Raina shrugged her shoulder, "I guess so."

Mr. Aggarwal looked at her with experienced gaze, "You know, as we got to know the real identity of Adya, I don't think that relation between you too will be same but I will pray that it will stay same otherwise who will drag you out from your cubicle.

He laughed in the end remembering Raina's foul face whenever Adya dragged her for coffee in between her work.

Raina also smiled looking away. Soon the canteen boy placed the coffee mugs for them on table.

Her attention was on the blurry reflection of light on the wall when she felt a weight on her shoulder.

She craned her neck to see Adya slumping on her with eyes closed. She opened her eyes and took the coffee of Raina and sipped it.

Raina whined, "That was mine."

"Oh, really? Sorry sorry."Adya said innocently .

She shouted to the canteen boy, "One coffee please."

Raina glared at her but she leaned more on her completely putting her half weight on her friend.

She sat straight seeing Mr. Aggarwal smiling at them, suddenly she remembered something, turning to Raina she asked, "Raina. You have diploma in management. Right?"

Raina nodded her head confused on her sudden question.

Adya turned to Mr. Aggarwal looking directly in his eyes smiling. Mr. Aggarwal was same as confused as Raina but he caught her silent sentence.

He looked at Raina and then Adya and a smile broke on his face. He stood up and said, "Ladies, I would like to go."

With that he walked away, Raina asked Adya, "What was that?"

Adya shook her head and Raina's coffee came on the same time.

Adya started blabbering making Raina facepalm herself, "You know, those meetings were so boring. Men seating with grumpy....."
