Adhiraj's POV
I came out of my room ready for the office and settled myself on the dining table.
I called for Adya, she also came and sat beside me. A servant served us our breakfast and we started eating. Meanwhile, I was checking some mails when a different mail caught my attention.
It was from Raina, a complete report on the financial management. Not on time but before that.
But another thing caught my attention was the receiving time.. 4:12 am. Was she preparing it in night??
A smile crept on my face remembering Bhardwaj sir's words. He was right, this girl really have potential to reach the top level.
"Bhai sa, Why are you smiling??", Adya asked looking at me. I shook my head and focused on my food.
Whole day went working but the main goal was to crack an important deal and meeting was scheduled in today's afternoon.
It was already 4 o'clock and the meeting was to start on 5 p:m sharp.
I called for an employee Jatin who was working as a substitute of Raina .
I asked, "Jatin!! Are you ready with all of your reports , you are the one who is going to brief our clients about the project's annual goals."
He hesitated, "Sir actually!! I am unable to find a file....."
I asked shocked, "What?? Are you out of your mind??"
He said quickly, " Sir... I think Raina didn't handover it to me... I can't find it.."
I controlled myself and said, "Try to find it, if you can't then both you and Raina will pay for this.."
He looked shocked, "Sir.??. Why me? It was her fault.."
I said in a grave tone, "Out of my cabin , now.."
He instantly left the cabin. I rested my head on the chair, the girl who is completing her work even when she is on leave., why she would do this?? Such carelessness was not expected from her.
Third person POV
Jatin kicked the wall in frustration, his plan backfired him. He was trying to deteriorate Raina's image but ended up pushing himself in the pit.
Neither he could get that file as he left it back at home which is located at the distance of two hours, he didn't have enough time. There was only one hope now, he moved to Rohan's cabin

At Nagar Mension-
Mehndi function was over and everyone was resting in their rooms. Meanwhile Akshit and Raina were managing everything for Haldi function cause it was going to be fun.
After everything was done,Mrs. Nagar assigned Raina and Akshit with a task and that was to take the Chunar (bridal veil) to the temple and get the blessing of God for the happy married life of couple.
Chunar
Both friends decided to get ready for the Haldi because it was already 4 p:m and Haldi was going to be happen at 6 p:m. And the temple was far , so to manage the time, it was best to get ready onwards.
Raina took out a simple yellow saree , and drapped it beautifully around her body and wore a sleeveless blouse.
She curled her hair from the ends and let it fall freely on her back. She tucked half of the hair with the help of pins and decorated it with small fragments of yellow flower.
Then she matched her saree with a pair of golden chain jhumka earings studded with white stones.
She applied little makeup and she was ready.
She admired herself in mirror and find herself dressed like a woman after ages. Her kohl filled eyes moistened because she was seeing a glimpse of her mother in her reflection .
She shook her head and moved out from her room to find him looking stunning in his asymmetrical yellow kurta. She raised his eyebrows in compliment , he gave her a proud smile and straighten his collar.
Raina whacked his head and moved towards Mrs. Nagar, old woman smiled at her and praises her looks. She said, "Now, you are looking like a girl..".
She gave her the Chunar and instructed her how to do Puja (worship process) .
Maa Durga
Raina and Akshit were standing in front of Maa Durga's idol where priest was performing appropriate rituals .
Raina's phone went off, it was Rohan.
She picked it up, "Hello sir."
Rohan said in rushed tone, "Raina ... Can you come to office in half an hour??"
She frowned at his words, "Sir but I was on leave and I am caught up with some works."
Rohan said, "Raina, you are needed just for an hour here. If you can make it possible then come, also if you don't want to face the bad side of Adhiraj. "
She sensed the urgency in his voice and last sentence didn't get unnoticed by her. Moreover, this temple was only 10 minutes away from her office.
"Sir.. I am coming.." , she said and hung up her phone.
She went to Akshit and explained briefly the matter. Raina told him to take care of puja and came to pick her after an hour. He agreed then Raina hired a cab .
She got down from the cab and hurried to the office. She reached her floor and saw her colleagues tensed, Rohan was standing there too. Although it was going to hit 5 p:m, people were still in office.
She went to them and asked, "What happened??"
Everyone looked at her with wide eyes from top to toe. She realised that they were gawking because of her appearance.
She said embarrassingly, "Guys!! Don't look at me like that. I am coming directly from a ceremony."
Rohan lowly chuckled, "It's okey Raina. You are just looking different in this getup."
Neha shrieked, "Looking awesome.."
Raina said, "Leave it aside. What was the problem..?"
Rohan said, "Raina, do you remember all the points that Jatin was going to brief in front of clients."
Raina said, "Yeahh. I remember and they are saved in my office desktop too. "
Rohan said, "That's good. Now get ready to explain it in the meeting.."
Raina asked shocked, "What?? But why me sir . I had already given files and reports to Jatin. "
Rohan said, "Don't ask anything now Raina. If you won't do it Adhiraj will burn me alive along with you and Jatin."
So a not so eventful chapter here...
