12. Monkey in the office

Raina entered the office building. There was some unusual hustle and bustle in the surrounding. She saw some paparazzi and media persons in the lobby. She went to her floor, where everyone was busy in gossiping.

She spotted Neha who was also talking with some co-workers. Raina tapped her shoulder , Neha turned around. Raina asked looking everywhere, "What's going on?"

Neha said shoving a business magazine on her face, "See this.."

She positioned the magazine on reading distence . She was not shocked but surprised. A headline was written in the bold words on the cover page.

Rathore enterprises is spreading its branches in all directions with full impact and plan.

She took a look of many news papers and magazine. All were having approximately same news headlines. Before she could read the article further, Neha peeped in.

Neha said, "Oh my god. It will be a huge leap for this company. A sudden meeting is held for senior employees."

Raina nodded her head and moved along with everyone towards the conference hall.

She took her seat beside Neha. Soon Adhiraj , Rohan and other important persons came and took their respective seats.

Raina heard some muffled gushings,

"Uffff. CEO is so hot."

"He is so dashing."

Raina scrunched her nose in disgust and muttered, "How can somebody think like that about their boss. It is highly unprofessional."

She nudged Neha, "Why girls are swooning over Adhiraj sir like they had not seen him ever."

Neha said, "Because he usually doesn't confront us in meetings like this time, usually Rohan sir do that. And it is not the fault of girls, he is really an eye candy."

Raina looked at her unbelievably. Neha shrugged, "Don't look at me like that. I am a girl too not a tomboy like you, I can have crushes."

Raina rolled her eyes.

Soon the meeting started.

Adhiraj started, "Today we are going to collab with a big foreign pharmaceutical company. It is set up in France but have an Indian owner. It will help us to expand our business in abroad while we will help them in Indian pharma business. So welcome the CEO of HealthMeds Pharma Company Mr. Akshit Nagar."

Rain's head snapped in the direction of the door. Akshit clad in a blue business suit with a vibrant smile on his face entered. He walked to the chair beside Adhiraj. Adhiraj stood up along with other persons and did a formal handshake with Akshit. Akshit took the chair.

Some girl muttered, "Oh my god!! He is Akshit Nagar.."

Neha said, "Raina!! He is the singer who sings on the online platform.

Right? "

Raina nodded her head . A girl poked her nose in their convo, "You know he is so hot but single."

Another one gossiped, "No he has two girlfriends."

Neha said, "But i have seen his every post on insta and their caption says that the girls are his bestie.And who will take their two girlfriends at same time. "

Raina wanted to laugh on their talks. The thing is that Akshit never revealed their face in any photos, their faces were always hidden.

She focused again on the front Rohan said something.

Rohan addressed, "This person seating beside me is the young and dynamic businessman and an aspiring singer. It is a great pleasure to work with you Mr. Nagar."

Akshit gave a perfect toothy smile displaying his white shiney teeths.

After that some executives of the company started with their talks. Akshit was silently seating on the chair while Raina was glaring him, "How dare he? He didn't told me anything. So it was his important meeting."

Adhiraj continued, "We have an another news for you all. We are relocating our main office and expanding our business in Jodhpur city of Rajasthan. We had released this news to media and we are getting good feedbacks by this step. I would like to thank that person for her intellectual idea."

His eyes found her seating in middle of the people, "Ms. Raina Kashyap , we appreciate your suggestion and we are expecting more dedication from you in future. A round of applause for her."

Raina was shell shocked on this shoutout and praise directly coming from him. All the eyes turned to her , some were jealous, some were envying and some were admiring. Akshit was also surprised to know that, though he knew that she worked here.

Raina acknowledged that with a smile and head nod. All the men were having emotions on their face.

Akshit was giving a wide smile looking like a proud father whose daughter got an A+ in the examination. Rohan was giving her a genuine smile whereas our prince was having a plain face but Raina couldn't miss the flash of approval in his eyes.

Rohan announced, "We will be collaborating with a big company soon. With that, some of employees will also have to be transferred there for the better management of work. We will announce the company's name in coming two- three days. Now the meeting is dismissed. "

With that, people started leaving the meeting room when Rohan called her, "Raina!!! One minute please."

She nodded her head and told Neha to go, she walked to a group of men standing .

Akshit was smiling at her. Rohan said to Akshit, "Mr. Nagar, she is the one who prepared your presentation."

Akshit forwarded his hand for a hand shake, "Hello Ms. Raina. Nice to meet you, I loved the presentation made by you."

She smiled sarcastically and hold his hand in a handshake tightly, "Thanks Mr. Nagar for you compliment."

Akshit hissed as Raina pressed her nails in his palm. He took his hand back right away while Raina smirked.

Rohan said, "Raina. The first presentation you made was actually for his new factory."

Adhiraj said to Akshit, "Nice meeting you Mr. Nagar."

Rohan said , "Same here Mr. Rathore. Please call me Akshit, Mr. Nagar is my grandfather. I would take your leave now."

Adhiraj nodded his head and left the place with Rohan glancing once at Raina who was busy burning holes in Akshit's head.

Raina also walked out while Akshit followed her. Once they were in lift, Akshit asked, "So how is my surprise?"

Raina glared at him, he laughed pulling her cheeks.

Akshit said, "Will meet you in the evening for the wedding shopping."

Elevator's door opened with a ting sound indicating that Raina's floor arrived. She turned to him, "You asked me how was the surprise? Right"

Akshit nodded. Raina smiled, "It was like monkey in the office.🐒🐒"

Akshit's mouth hang opened but before he could process her words, she ran away.
