10. First time in Lion's Den

Yuvraj sa - A title given to crown prince.

Hukum sa - Your highness.

Adhiraj was sitting in his cabin while Rohan entered after asking for the permission. He settled himself on a chair.

Aadhiraj placed some files in front of him and said, "I need index of these projects ready as soon as possible."

Rohan nodded and said, "We should give them to Raina."

Adhiraj glared him, "Didn't you started trusting her so easily."

Rohan said, "Hukum sa. She completes her work properly and comparatively in less time. And I am not giving her some super confidential file."

Adhiraj said, "Still it is an important file."

Rohan lifted the intercom and asked for Raina. He looked at Adhiraj, "Well then I have a solution.Beside,we have some important issues to discuss."

Within ten minutes, Raina was standing outside the cabin. She really wanted to run away because the man who owns this cabin makes her nervous so easily with his intense gaze.

She saw the golden name plate hanging on the door with bold words- CEO.

She thought ' They should have written Lion's Den instead of CEO thing.'

She had been working from two weeks and she tried her best to avoid him.Thanks to heaven, she just encountered him few times only.

But at that moment she didn't have any option rather then going inside. She fiddled with the door knob letting her inside.

That cabin was simply but elegant and classy at the same time. A semicircular table with off white chairs and a bookshelves and cabinets behind it. A long sofa was placed in front with a big glass window in left. She muttered, "Nice choice."

She spotted the CEO and MD discussing something. She went near the table and asked Rohan, "Ummmm. Sir. Did you call me? "

Rohan said handing her the files, "Yes Raina. We need a quick index and a rough layout of these files ready as soon as possible."

Raina nodded her head and took the files. She was ready to leave with the files when a heavy voice interrupted her activities, "Wait."

She looked over Adhiraj.

Rohan said immediately, "Actually. Raina complete your work here itself. These are important files and Adhiraj doesn't want to leak the informations from it."

Raina was dumbstruck, she was staring at Rohan with wide eyes.

Adhiraj smirked on seeing her face. Her nervousness caught his eyes at the first place. She does exactly opposite when she is nervous, she tries to be more confident.

She knew that she had to do it. Rohan gestured her to take the adjacent seat but she said in a quick tone, "Sir, I will take the couch so that I can do my work with more concentration."

With that she moved to the couch and drowned herself completely in those files.

Rohan and Adhiraj were discussing something over a project. Suddenly Adhiraj's PA came and said, "Sir. NYK company has put their option still open.. It is like they are seeing us as an option instead of directly handing over the project to us.."

Adhiraj and Rohan looked at each other after hearing that.

Rohan said annoyed,"That company's owner is our investor and he was against the idea of relocating our head office now he is doing this."

Adhiraj was thinking something deeply. It was like challenging his power and authority.

Raina's ear perked up after listening that. From past one week, numerous rumours was spreading about closing of the company or relocating but those were uncertain.

She sat there listening to their talks for sometime , she had understood most of the matter. She had to discuss about something too so she walked to the table.

They were still engrossed in the discussion , she cleared her throat to gain their attention, "Sir . The layouts are ready but then I will need the designs of buildings ."

Adhiraj looked up at her, "The team of architects will be arriving two days later."

She was going to exit the cabin but a thought came in her mind, "Sir. Can I say something.?"

Raina looked at Adhiraj for the permission , Adhiraj nodded his head.

She started, "Sir. From past days, rumours are flying that the company is going to be closed or someth-."

Rohan cut of her in the middle, "No. No. Company's main office is relocating somewhere else. "

Adhiraj said, "Ms. Raina. Take the seat and then share whatever you want."

She took the seat beside Rohan and looked at Adhira, "Sir. I listened whatever your assistant said about the company's project. Can we do one thing?"

Adhiraj lifted his eyebrows, "And what's that?"

Raina said hesitantly, "We should announce this all relocating thing to the media."

Rohan looked at her with wide eyes, "What? Why? What is the need?"

Raina said, "Because it will increase our shares. "

Rohan looked confused as hell but a slight smile crept on Adhiraj's lips.

He thought, "This girl is really something different."

Adhiraj said to Raina, "Ms. Raina. You continue."

She was sceptical about her own idea after seeing Rohan's reaction but she proceeded further, "Our company is only few years older that's why investors are not fully convinced about the idea of relocating the main office away from the Mumbai. But many companies are looking for a creative collaboration and we can provide them that. "

She took a breath and continued, "If we will announce this to media, many companies will come along with the proposal, including the place where you are planning to set up the company, it will also increase the share's value."

Rohan scratched his head in confusion, "What will we get from the collaboration?"

She rolled her eyes at hos dumb question, "What does a company get from a collaboration?? It is such a basic thing taught in business studies."

Rohan smiled sheepishly and muttered, "Sorry."

She mentally facepalmed herself for her straight reply, she tried to cover up, "Uhhh.. No.. No.. I am sorry sir... I didn't mean it that way... Actually, that company will get some new techniques from us and we will get a readymade market for us in their area. It will be beneficial for both of the sides. That's what I mean."

Rohan was suppressing his laugh at her panic striken face while Adhiraj was looking at her with amusement filled eyes.

Raina stood up, "Sir, I think I should go. I am blabbering anything and everything coming in my mind. So sorry for that. Anyway my work is finished . "

She left the cabin, Rohan chuckled at her.

"Rohan" , Adhiraj called him with a serious voice.

"Jiiii, Yuvraj sa?", Rohan gave him his undivided attention.

(Yes, Yuvraj sa? )

He said, "Pass the news to media that Rathore Enterprises is interested in the business of Rajasthan."

He nodded his head, "That's why I trust her, she always gives her best."

Raina was ready to leave office when her phone pinged.

She checked it and it was a massage from Akshit...

Come fast to my home, Dia is here too. It's urgent.

She tucked the phone inside her pocket and left for his home. She was not certain about Akshit's text because it was so unlikely of him.
