Chapter 17
Trapped with My Billionaire Ex-Husband by Mariya Mercedes
Chapter 17 BLAIRE We end up going home earlier than he planned. He was thinking about staying at the hotel for the night to have some space and time for ourselves, but I didnât like what he did a while ago while I was talking to Ethan. I understand that heâs jealous and wants to assert dominance; however, he canât just do as he pleases. Iâm just glad that Ethan seems clueless about whatâs happening on the other line. If he noticed it, I donât think I still have the strength to face him out of embarrassment.
âAre you still mad?â he asked while we were in his car.
I looked at Clifford, who was driving the car, worried that he might hear what we were arguing about. Sebastian seemed to notice that, so he pressed a button to close the small window between the front and back seats. Once we finally had a little privacy inside the tinted car, he quickly buried his face against the burrow of my neck and hugged me tightly.
âIâm sorry if I got jealous back then,â he murmured against my skin.
I can feel the warmth of his breath and the vibration of his voice against my skin. I tried to ignore the heat that started to crawl into my system, but itâs hard, especially when heâs this close to me. Regardless, I need to be firm about this. I canât let him act like a wild beast whenever heâs jealous.
âItâs not your jealousy thatâs the problem here. Itâs what you do when youâre jealous. Do you realize how embarrassing it is for me if Ethan has any hint of what we were doing?â I snapped at him.
âSo, what if he knows? Youâre my wife, and Iâm your husband. Itâs normal if we do that. sort of thing,â he debated.
âItâs normal when we are alone. But itâs not when Iâm talking to someb*dy!â I responded angrily.
He tightened his hug even more as he buried his face deeper against my neck, like a child. âOkay, Iâm sorry. I promise not to do it again,â he promised.
âYou should be. âCause if you do that again next time, Iâm going to forbid you to touch me for a month,â I warned him.
âA month?â I jolted from leaning on my should and looked at me with wide eyes. âAre you planning to kill me?â he added.
I hissed, âOh, donât be dramatic. You managed to stay celibate for a year, didnât you?â
Chapter 17 âI did. But thatâs different. Youâve been away, so I have no other choice. However, itâs totally different when youâre this close to me and youâre forbidding me to touch you. Thatâs like a death sentence, love,â he debated.
âThen donât do it again. Simple.â
âFine,â he scoffed before hugging me again. This time, I didnât protest. I like the feeling. of his warm b*dy wrapped around mine.
Now that everything is starting to sink in, I realize how much I missed him. I never stopped loving him. Despite convincing myself a lot of times that I donât love him anymore, I know Iâm just fooling no one but myself.
As I was just starting to get comfortable, I noticed that we had already parked outside our house. Clifford quickly got off the car to open the car door for me.
âArenât you coming?â I asked him when I noticed that he wasnât coming down with me.
âAs much as I wanted to stay this whole afternoon with you, I better finish all my work today. Iâm planning to take the week off starting tomorrow. So, I have a lot of work to finish today,â he answered. âBut Iâll be home for dinner. Wait for me. I want to have dinner with you,â he added.
I giggled and said, âIâll see you later then. What do you have in mind? Iâll cook it for you,â I asked him.
âIâd rather have you for dinner,â he said seductively before reaching for my hand and planting soft k*sses on top of it.
Clifford quickly looked away, pretending not to hear his boss flirt. He looks uncomfortable. On the contrary, Sebastian looks like heâs enjoying himself as he continues to tease me., âThatâs for dessert. Now, what are you having for dinner?â I said, responding to his flirting with equal seduction.
Sebastian was about to respond when Clifford cleared his throat, reminding us of his presence. Sebastian chuckled as he shook his head before turning his attention back at me.
âSuprise me, love. I donât care what you cooked; as long as your hands are the ones who prepare it, Iâll certainly love it,â
Sebastian said before planting another gentle k*ss on my hand.
âBe safe. Iâll see you later, I said before leaning closer to him and k*ssing him on the lips. I had a feeling that heâd grab me to deepen the k*ss, so I quickly moved away before he could even lift his hand.
Chapter 17 I canât help but smile watching him pout his lips in protest. âShould I just stay here? Work can wait, right?â he suggested.
I roll my eyes at him for being so impatient. âGo to work. I donât want my husband to go broke just because he canât keep his d*ck in his pants.â
Surprise dances across his face as my unexpected words linger in the air. Amusement twin kles in my eyes, and I canât resist a playful wink before making my way toward the door.
His stunned silence becomes a canvas upon which my enjoyment paints itself. Itâs a moment of satisfaction watching him caught off guard, words momentarily escaping him.
Just as his car inches closer to the gate, my phone rings, breaking the momentary silence. A smile plays on my lips as I glance at the screen, revealing my husbandâs name. The timing adds a touch of irony to the situation, and I answer with a composed demeanor. The juxtaposition of my lingering encounter with the unexpected call creates a curious blend of emotions within me.
I answer the call with a smile on my face. I havenât even said anything yet since I heard. him speak on the other line. âIâm going to fck you so hard tonight that you wonât be able to walk the next day,â he said with his deep and baritone voice. He didnât wait for my answer and immediately hung up the phone. Just as the car was making its turn, I saw him looking outside the window with a playful smirk on his lips.
I shook my head while giggling as I watched him leave. Once heâs finally gone, thatâs when I go inside the house. I close the door behind me and head towards the stairs to go up to my room. I was just a few steps away from the door when I heard something speak from behind me.
âI think I underestimated your expertise to seduce my man. Itâs been days since you came back, and you already managed to wrap him around your fingers? Youâre really something,â Catherine said.
I took a deep breath before facing her. I was so over the moon because I patched everything with Sebastian that I totally forgot who to blame for our misunderstanding.
âIâve already given you a year of advantage, dear sister. Itâs not my fault that you didnât get Sebastian, despite having him for yourself for the whole year. Maybe year. Maybe you didnât underestimate me; rather, you overestimated yourself. You thought that by discarding me, youâd finally manage to take my husband away from me. Too bad my husband has no interest in you. Youâre the past; Iâm the present and his future. So, Iâm warning you, Catherine. I will not let you destroy my marriage again. The moment you try something like that again, Iâll make sure that youâll be waking up with no roof above your head and begging for a piece of bread just so you can eat.

âDonât be too confident, Blaire. I am Sebastianâs first love. You donât see how he was trying to give me everything I needed whenever I asked him to. You donât see the look in his eyes when weâre alone. I know Sebastian still loves me. If you hadnât come back, weâd probably be married by now.â
I sneered, âI canât believe how delusional you are. I was so stu pid for falling for all your lies. I wasted a year away from my husband just because I didnât trust him enough and chose to believe your meaningless words. But thatâs over now. If you try to ruin my marriage again, Iâm going to kill you,â I warned her.
I didnât wait for her answer. I turn my back and head towards my room. I donât-have to hear whatever SEND GIFT COMMENT 09:04 Mon, 22 Jan Ei
