Chapter 18

{Sister SNAPPED}

Peter Parker One Shots

Requested by anon: I desperately need an extremely dramatic one-shot where Peter is in some theatre club in his school or something and is some behind-the-scenes type of guy, but everyone just drops their work on him, so he SNAPS at everyone, including the teacher(pls make her a cruel sorta person) and students... and the principal? Maybe? Please? With a large bucket of oreos on the side and a glass of chocolate milk?

EEEEEEEEEEEEK I LOVE SASSY PETE.

Disclaimer: I'm dam sure you know by now that I don't own MaRvEl.

TW: Overworked Petey-Pie. Savage Petey-Pie.

"Peter, are my dresses done?" Sally asked.

Peter sighed. Volunteering to be the tech guy of the school play, 'Beauty and the Beast', was the worst thing he could have done.

"No Sally, not yet," he said tiredly.

"Stop lagging and do your work," she huffed and walked away. Peter mentally screamed at her that it was not his job to do.

I will hurt them for this. I don't know how yet, but give me time, a dark part of Peter's mind whispered, A day will come when they think themselves safe and happy, and suddenly their joy will turn to ashes in their mouth, it cackled, then they'll know that the debt is paid.

.

.

.

"Peter, do this-"

"Peter, please do this-"

"Why haven't you done-"

"You're lagging-"

"Work harder-"

Peter sighed and looked at his notepad where he listed his tasks. He'll have to put away the voice's tempting thought. Right now, it looks like he'll have to buy another notepad for tomorrow.

**********

"Why do you need another notepad, Peter," Tony asked, "Not refusing you, just curious," he added.

"Need it to note down my work for theatre," Peter muttered.

"How much work are you doing? Aren't you the tech guy?" Steve asked, concerned.

"I was, but now I am just someone who everyone is dumping their tasks on."

"Why are you letting them do this?" Nat called from her reclined position on the beanbag.

"I have too much responsibility on my shoulders. If I quit, the play will fail," Peter said miserably.

"Where's the teacher when all of this is happening?" Tony asked, hints of anger creeping in his voice.

"Mrs. Roach (mr_oakiedokee20) doesn't care as long as the work is done. Besides, she hates me and doesn't care about me at all, even when I collapsed in front of her," Peter shrugged.

"Oi Punk, you shouldn't need to have that much responsibility on you. You're the tech guy, you never agreed to do the rest of this. You aren't a permanent member of the play either. You volunteered," Bucky yelled from the kitchen.

"..."

"You're- You're right," Peter said after a moment, stunned, "I don't need to do all this."

"Definitely," Sam agreed.

"Go get 'em, Champ," Clint thumped his back.

**********

"Parker," Mrs. Roach said in front of everyone the next day he entered the theatre, looking very gleeful, "You're removed from this position."

"Okay," Peter shrugged, "Can I ask why?"

"You don't do any of the work given to you," Flash called out.

"Oh really?" Peter raised his eyebrows, ignoring the sniggers coming from the actors and crews, "Then I'll be taking away all the 15 dresses tailored for Belle, the 8 suits tailored for the Beast, and the various ball gowns and suits made for the side-characters, majority of the props made here, the artificial garlands, the handmade teapots and teacups, all the makeup here, plus the reviewed script as well as the custom-made shirts for all the crew members. I'll also be removing the edited soundtrack for the music along with the lights tinkered with to go on and off at the appropriate times. After all, I didn't do any work right? All this means nothing to you all then."

Silence. Absolute silence. Even Mrs. Roach was silent for once in her useless life and had lost all color from her face (mr_oakiedokee20 no offense to your Mrs. Roach).

"Oh also," Peter said, happily taking out his notepad from his bag, "When I'm gone, you'll need someone to remake Sally's dresses because I'm definitely not giving them to her, someone for the tech-support, someone who does the makeup and hair, someone who- you know what," Peter threw the notepad at Flash, who caught it, stunned, "Just read all the tasks from the beginning of the notepad till it ends. Lucky for you, I bought a new notepad yesterday."

"Now, Mr. Parker-" Mrs. Roach started, noticeably more pleasant.

"No. Fuck you. I quit. I'll be sending someone to take all of the things I had worked on. You all can get someone useful to do all your work for you."

Peter sashayed over to the door. Suddenly, he paused and turned to look at everybody.

"You know? If this is how you treat all your crew members, I'm not surprised you needed volunteers for the crew," with that, he strutted out.

**********

"Mr. Parker, how DARE you curse out a teacher," Mr. Morita, the principal, shouted. Standing next to him was a way too smug-looking Mrs. Roach. She had gotten the entire board assembled to get him expelled (extra drama and Peter scolding extra people just for you anon<3).

"You mean I don't have the right to curse her out-"

"No, you don't, boy."

The board started talking simultaneously, wanting to be heard over each other. Most were saying Peter should be expelled. Some were wanting to hear his side of the story(bless them).

Peter, meanwhile, was fiddling with his phone at rapid speeds.

"Look, he doesn't even care, expel him," Roach yelled(she doesn't get the privilege of having Mrs. in front of her name now).

"Oh I do care, but all of you don't want nor care to listen to me, a teenager, because adults are always right, right? And I'm just a stupid teenager who doesn't know anything about life despite being an orphan, watching my uncle die from a mugging in front of me, or being bullied daily in this school where all you care about is money and status," he smiled wryly, ignoring the way everyone quietened down hearing his words, "So I'll show you."

With those four words, Peter literally destroyed Roach's life.

"Oh look at that, that me swaying," Peter said, pointing to the clear hologram in the silent room, "And oh no, I collapsed. What does Roach do now?"

"Leave him. He'll wake up when he stops being a pansy," the teacher said and stepped over him.

"Oh yeah, I don't have the right to curse her out even when she doesn't care about my health or safety at a place where I should be feeling safe and secure," Peter said.

"You-" Roach said, face white, stepping forward.

"Stand down," Peter glared ferociously, "Let's see some more now, shall we?"

And show them he did. He sat in the meeting room for an hour. Showing footage after footage of him being bullied by the crew and actors, even Roach, of people shoving their work at him, of him being exhausted and still being yelled at. He had so much evidence it was not even funny.

.

.

.

"Expel me," he said after a moment in the silent room of fuming and disgusted adults. Even Roach looked a little green.

"What?" a board member said, startled.

"Expel me," Peter said, getting up, "I don't want to be in a school that doesn't care if a poor student is murdered as long as the murderer's parents give them money. I don't want to be in a school where teachers hate students who are smarter than them and fail them in every class just because of childish jealousy. I don't want to be in a school where the victim is blamed and the accused is roaming free of any punishment. I don't want to be in a school that gives me unnecessary detentions for 'faking' my internship, despite all the required paperwork being right in front of them, just because they cannot accept the fact that a poor student, who is excelling every class, by the way, could get an internship without bribing. I don't want to be in a school that teaches bullies to be bullies and tells the victims to suck it up. I don't want to be in a school that will eventually poison me, in one way or the other."

He walks away, tossing his final words in the room, "Expel me, or I am leaving the school myself."

.

.

.

"Did we just lose the best student we ever had?" Mr. Morita whispered.

"Yes you did, and I have a bone to pick with you too."

Morita was sure every board member knew their fate when they saw Tony Stark and Pepper Potts standing at the doorway, anger coming off them in waves.

**********

Within the next week, Midtown High drowned in humiliation. Someone (*cough* Tony *cough*) had leaked out many videos and audio evidence of the staff and students both bullying the poor or scholarship students.

Peter was feeling guilty when he saw Midtown High drowning in lawsuits, but all of it was gone when he saw the way every poor or middle-class student was bullied. Some were even worse than him, and that was saying something.

Mrs. Roach was now unemployed. No school would hire her. The only place she could work in was McDonald's. Peter tried to feel guilty, but when he saw the pure joy in all the scholarship student's eyes, he threw that feeling away too.

The school board and Mr. Morita tried to apologize to him, but the damage was done. Peter left the school and joined MIT because he had nothing better to do. Somehow, everyone had come to know that Peter had something to do with Midtown's downfall, so no one dared to mess with him. After all, he had caused the most prestigious Science school of New York to go down to its knees in all his 15-years-old glory.

To think all of this happened because of one school play, one done Peter Parker, and one supportive Avengers team.
