Chapter 30

Howling at the Honeymoon

The Millennium Wolves: His Haze

Sienna stared excitedly out the window as our flight crossed the ocean. Her cheeks were a bit flushed from the complimentary champagne, and her eyes were wide with eagerness.

“I’ve never flown first class before,” she murmured, her eyes still glued to the view.

“Just one of the perks of being mated to the alpha,” I said, taking her hand.

Sienna turned to me and gave me a long, deep kiss, her tongue lingering on mine.

The Haze might not be in season anymore, but that didn’t stop us from wanting to rip each other’s clothes off every other second.

“Should I get more champagne?” I asked after she pulled away.

“I’ve got a better idea,” she said, her tone suddenly mischievous.

My jaw dropped as Sienna reached under her skirt and pulled her panties down to her ankles. She kicked them off and placed them in her purse.

“There’s something else I’ve never done on a plane,” she said, a sexy smirk on her lips. “Maybe you can help me with it.”

My wolf growled hungrily inside me as if to say, ~What the hell are you waiting for?~

My hand slid between Sienna’s legs, and she bit her lip as I teased her sex.

She was going to get the ~full~ first-class experience.

Sienna moaned as my fingers entered her. She quickly clasped a hand over her mouth.

We may have had some extra privacy in first class, but it wasn’t ~that~ private.

“Meet me in the bathroom,” I growled into her ear.

I got up and walked down the aisle, then went inside the small bathroom, leaving the door unlocked.

Sienna discreetly joined me a few moments later.

As soon as the door shut, my hands were on her ass, hiking up her skirt. I got down on my knees and pulled her to my face.

“I can scent your arousal,” I said, taking a sniff and licking my lips.

Sienna giggled. “You’re ~so~ shameless. That line didn’t work on me back then, and it won’t work now.”

“Oh yeah? Is that right?”

I flicked my tongue on her clit, and she squealed in delight, grabbing a fistful of my hair. I picked her up, then sat her on the sink.

I was hard as hell, and my cock was begging to be freed. I unzipped my pants, and it sprung out, pressing against Sienna’s sex in these tight quarters.

“You’re about to join a very exclusive club,” I growled playfully. “The mile-high club.”

But just as I was about to push into her—

“EXCUSE ME,” a voice came from the other side of the door, followed by an annoying knock. “I know what’s going on in there, and I’ll have to ask you to stop IMMEDIATELY.”

Sienna burst into laughter, pulling her skirt back down, and I quickly tucked my erection into my waistband.

“Shit,” I whispered, starting to laugh myself. “We’re busted.”

“I guess my membership was revoked,” she said.

“HELLO?” the voice shouted again.

I swung open the door to find a very disgruntled flight attendant staring at me.

“Sorry for the inconvenience,” I said, immediately laying on the charm. “We’re on our honeymoon, and we just couldn’t keep our hands off each other. I’m sure you know how it is.”

I winked at her as we walked past, and all the blood in her body rushed to her face in an instant.

We collapsed back into our seats, laughing. “That didn’t quite go as planned,” I said.

“Seriously, how do they always get away with it in movies?” Sienna said while slipping her panties back on.

“We’ll make up for it when we land,” I said, grinning deviously. “As soon as we’re in our room, you’re mine.”

***

“I’m sorry, Mr. Norwood, but there’s no room for you under that name,” the resort receptionist said flatly.

I stared at her, dumbfounded. “I ~know~ that,” I said, trying to keep from snapping. “Once again, it’s under Raphael Fernandez’s name, not mine.”

“Mr. Norwood, if the room is not under your name, and you don’t have written consent from the Alpha Fernandez of the Millennium, then I cannot just give you access to his private suite,” she replied.

I was really starting to get pissed off. “It was a mating ceremony gift,” I growled. “So why don’t you fuc—”

Sienna put her hand on my arm and stopped me. She stepped forward and smiled sweetly at the receptionist.

“We’ll have Alpha Norwood’s office get in touch with Alpha Fernandez’s and send over the proper paperwork,” she said. “In the meantime, can we leave our luggage with the concierge?”

The receptionist nodded, looking pleased. “Yes, by all means.”

I started to growl again, but Sienna grabbed my hand and pulled me away.

“Come on, let’s go,” she said. “This will likely take a few hours to sort out. I want to see the beach. Maybe get one of those drinks in a coconut.”

~And I want to fuck you senseless, but I guess that will have to wait. Again.~

Sighing, I relented. “Fine, but the coconut better be filled with rum.”

We stepped outside the resort lobby, which was already bordering the shining white-sand beach.

The warm breeze and salty ocean spray actually did wonders for my moodiness.

We strolled down the beach, hand-in-hand, carrying our shoes. The sand felt great between our toes, and the water was crystal clear.

In the distance, we could see lush-looking mountains. As I took in the panoramic views, I realized something.

“This beach, actually the whole island, I think it’s a crescent moon shape,” I said.

“Oh my God, you’re right,” Sienna said in awe. “Must be why it’s so popular with alphas.”

The sun was starting to set, bathing everything in a golden light. “What a fucking view,” I said.

“I bet it’s an even prettier view from up there,” Sienna said, pointing to the mountainous region at the edge of the beach.

She started to pull off her top, and my eyes widened. “What are you doing?”

Sienna just smirked at me, already slipping off her skirt. “I’ll race you to the top.”

Now I understood; it was a challenge. ~Game on.~

Sienna shifted into her wolf on the spot and took off, sending sand flying in my face.

I fumbled with my clothes, my head getting stuck in my shirt collar. She already had a huge head start.

Finally, I was free of my clothing, and I shifted too. My wolf’s paws pounded across the expansive beach, creating a tidal wave of sand in my wake as I tried to catch up to Sienna.

Her red fur looked like it was on fire, a coat of flames, as the setting sun spotlighted her.

I dashed through the sand with all my might, chasing her, hoping to overtake her. But she was already at the cliffside. She ran onto a forested path, and I followed, not far behind.

The path was steep and full of fallen branches. Sienna jumped over them with grace, while I just lumbered through them, snapping them like twigs.

We carried on like that for a while, Sienna just ahead of me. I was biding my time, waiting for the final stretch before I bolted past her.

I could see the top now; there was a clearing just ahead, a meadow of flowers.

~And Sienna is still in the lead. But not for long.~

I pushed myself even harder, picking up speed. I was at her heels now.

Playfully, I nipped at them, letting her know how close I was. Suddenly, we were side by side. I turned my head, giving her a wolfish grin.

~How do you like that? ~

But then, to my surprise, Sienna slammed into me, knocking me off balance. I nearly careened into the trunk of a tree.

When I regained my footing, I looked up to see that Sienna had just broken out of the forest and into the clearing. She howled triumphantly.

~Did I just…lose?~

I padded into the clearing, my pride a little bruised. Sienna nudged me with her snout, burrowing it into my black fur.

A moment later, we both shifted back into our human forms.

“Shall we call it a tie?” I said, grinning.

“Not a chance,” she replied quickly. “You’re not taking that win away from me.”

Laughing, I pulled her close to me, our naked bodies pressed together.

“Actually, I think we’re both winners,” she said, nodding to the horizon. “Just look at that view.”

She was right; it was absolutely stunning.

We could see the whole island, including its distinct crescent shape. The sunset reflected off the glimmering resort towers.

The pristine beaches stretched on for miles. The mysterious little coves were filled with magnificent crashing waves.

I kissed Sienna softly, then stared into her eyes, the same color as the ocean.

“We’re alone,” I said. “And I can’t think of a better place to make love to you.”

“Me either,” Sienna said, giving me a warm smile.

Now, we could finally do what we’d been trying to do all day. We could finally fu—

A loud rumble filled the sky, followed almost immediately by a torrential downpour.

In just seconds, we were soaked to the bone.

“Are you fucking kidding me?” I shouted at the clouds, which had seemingly appeared out of nowhere.

Sienna doubled over, laughing. She fell to the ground, and she pulled me down with her. Her laughter was infectious, and I couldn’t help but join in.

The rain beat down on our naked bodies as I crawled on top of her.

“We can’t catch a break,” I said, shaking my wet mane of dark hair.

“No, this is perfect,” Sienna replied. “This whole day has been perfect.”

I placed my forehead against hers, water dripping down every inch of our skin. I parted her lips with my thumb, then kissed her, releasing all of my pent-up passion.

No storm could douse my desire for her, and as the warm rain continued to fall, I made love to Sienna on the slick mossy meadow for hours.

She was everything I’d ever wanted, everything I thought I’d never have.

My purpose in life.

My love for all time.

~My mate.~
