XX. Date

A beach with a beautiful sunset, the beach lit with the light orange glow coming from the sun. The sun was still setting, which was like the sun going into the water with a promise to come back tomorrow on time. It was a perfect picture to paint, with a lovely couple on a small elevation standing and gazing at the view, it was romantic indeed. It was a scene out of the book.

Abhi was watching the woman in front of him, her face held happiness and with the light falling on her face and the glow in her eyes, he wanted to stare at her for a very long time. He did not plan this date first; he was busy with his work and did not contact her. He wanted to hear her voice and called her, and got to know that they will be leaving today for Hyderabad.

So he made the plan with Akky and Nihal's help, this was their first date. He wanted their date to be with them as boyfriend and girlfriend. Then he planned everything and rented the beach for the day. In the dress, he chose for her, she was looking like an angel.

My angel.

Avni kept staring at the view in front of her, she wanted to look at it until it disappears and took everything in. Abhi has done this for her as a date, she was excited and giddy that he planned this entire thing.

"Do you like it, angel," his words sent a shiver down her back. She nodded unable to form the words. And at that moment her stomach rumbled and she blushed while he chuckled.

"My angel is hungry, let me feed you before you faint," he smirks and takes her hand as they both walk together into the beach. When they reach the sand, Avni halts making Abhi lift an eyebrow in her direction.

Avni removed her sandals and left them on the stone wanting to feel the sand under her toes, Abhi followed the suit removes his shoes, which caused his muscles to strain in the shirt he wore, his jacket in his hand with a white shirt and some black pants. He was looking like a beautiful sinister.

Abhi felt her gaze on him and flexed his hands more to show her his muscles. He wanted to show off. He smirked when he listened to her breath hitch, mission accomplished. He folded the bottom of the pants to his knee.

"Enjoyed the view angel?" His question caught her off- guard and she started walking away from him, he shook his head at her. He wanted to provoke her and see the reaction she gives, and if he can, he will keep her always blushing. She was cute when she blushed. He ran after her and caught up with her.

Avni was cursing him mentally as he taunted her, he put on a show for her, and she fell into his trap, which she did not mind even a bit. She felt his presence beside her and looked straight ahead ignoring him.

"Now now, do not be angry, angel. You can see these muscles anytime you want, this is all your." Avni can hear the smugness in his tone, but she kept her gaze straight not giving him a single glance. She increased the speed in her steps; she was going in direction of the water.

"Ok, I will stop now. Sorry," she halted, it was the second time he said that word. She looked in his direction and found him pouting at her, which she found adorable. She smiled at him and Abhi sighed in relief and he started leading her, but Avni was focusing on his back. What are you made of Abhi Goenka? She questioned herself, she thought that she knew about him, but she was wrong. He was arrogant but only to others, not his family; this person was someone she felt happy to meet.

Abhi stopped at the shore where there were small waves, which will help him. There some distance from the shore a small table with two chairs arranged with candles lit on the table. The sun has finally set and the moon was present just above the arrangement he made, which gave it the perfect look, he opted for. He heard a small gasp and understood that his plan was a success. It was moonlight and candlelight dinner.

Something like this just imagine a moon above them.

He slowly led Avni into the water near the chair; he pulled out the chair and waited until Avni sat in her chair. He followed suit and sat in front of her. She was looking at her surroundings with a twinkle in her eyes; he loved that and the small smile on her face. It made her look still more beautiful, he discretely took his phone out and took a photo of her gazing at the stars.

"Do you like it?" At his question, she looked at me.

"Like it? I love it! It is the most beautiful thing anyone has done for me." Abhi nodded and signaled to bring the food and wine.

Avni was shocked; she did not expect Abhi to be this romantic. He got her a dress, accessories, and dining on the beach, it was just; no words can explain her feeling towards it. He even got her fruit juice instead of wine, and even her favorite food.

"How do you know my preferences?" She wanted to know why he bothered with getting that food.

"Akky and Nihal helped in that. I wanted this date to be best." She smiled at that thought. They ate silently and Avni broke the silence when the dessert was brought.

"Why don't we play 20 questions?" Abhi gave her a questioning look and nodded his head slowly, Avni cheered.

"Yay, so I will ask the first question. What is your favorite color? Mine is green." Abhi gave a look, which meant, did you just asked me that silly question?

"What! It is a basic question you ask?"

"Seriously you wasted a question on that silly question, anyway mine is black and white." Avni snorted.

"As expected like your personality," she shut up after he glared at her.

"My turn, Are you a virgin?" She choked on the water she was drinking giving him a glare, when her coughing controlled she snapped at him.

"Heh, you can't ask questions like that." She tried to convince him, but he was not having it.

"Oh, I did just answer angel." She cursed him mentally and scolded herself for suggesting this game and she got into this trap.

"I am a virgin," she mumbled and bent her head flushing.

"Oh, very good then." She looked at him with her hair as a curtain on her face to avoid him looking at her now flushing face.

"Your turn angel." He informed me when she was silent for a while. She started to think of questions that will embarrass him.

"Are you into BDSM?" She asked him the question without thinking and he coughed on the dessert. She was looking at him dumb folded she blurted out the first thing that came into her mind, she was thinking of Christian Grey, from 50 shades. When he controlled his coughing fit he spoke again.

"I did not know you were into that kinky stuff, for you I can learn them, angel," he purred the last words and Avni blushed like hell.

"No, I am not into it I just remembered Christian Grey from 50-" she placed a hand over her mouth, her big mouth.

"Oh, I am grateful that you are not that innocent." And the conversation went on between them, they had a good them with teasing and they both got to know more about their partners.

They finished their dinner, and were strolling across the beach, Avni was playing with tides and running back and forth when a wave came to the shore. Abhi was watching this and was smiling, he had a great time and he can tell that his feelings started growing towards her.

Avni came and stood beside Abhi observing the sky filled with stars. "What do you hate most in the world?" Abhi looked at her.

"Are we still playing the game? I hate when a person I trust lies to me or cheats on me. I hate liars the most. What about you?" Avni understood him; Seema made him love her and then betrayed him by cheating which broke him a lot.

"I hate when the person I trust and give him everything, and when they leave me when I need them the most. I can't take it." Avni whispered and Abhi nodded his head, he understood there were only a few members who helped her when her parents died.

They both stared into the sky. They were both similar yet different in their way, while one always prefer honesty and loyalty and the other one thrives for attention and love a perfect combination.

They started their way back to the hotel where they will be spending a night and tomorrow morning to Hyderabad. On their way to the car, they collected their foot ware; Avni found an ice-cream truck and pulled him along ignoring his protests.

"Avni, you had a dessert already." Abhi finally gave in when he saw her pout at him. Avni went near him and ordered her favorite ice- cream.

"One strawberry and chocolate scoop in a cup please." She had a weird taste. Abhi also looked at her weirdly for choosing them together but Avni was focused on the ice cream only, after taking her ice cream she found a bench and sat there devouring her ice cream. Abhi shook his head and chose a vanilla ice cream. After paying, he also went and sat near her. They ate their share in silence.

Abhi threw the cup in the bin and looked at Avni, whose lips were covered in cream; there was some on her lips. Abhi's gaze fixed on her lips while she was still eating her now melted ice cream. He leaned forward and pressed his lips to her.

Avni was startled when he pressed his lips to her suddenly; she was in shock that she was unable to respond to it. Abhi pulled back and did not speak a word as she threw the cup into the bin and cleaned her face with a tissue. She followed him silently as he was moving first. They did not speak a word to each other. Avni was thinking of the date and everything he did, she has a crush on him for a long time, but the feelings she has for him were different. She always thinks of him and in his presence, she forgets the world. Something whispered to her, which was her conscious, the word

Love.

She was in love with Abhi Goenka.

They reached the hotel and they went into the suite Avni went to previously, she was nervous and worried about when to propose to him or that he will reciprocate her feelings or not. They went into the room.

"I will take the couch and you sleep on the bed," Abhi offered for which Avni just kept staring at him.

"Look Avni, I am sorry for what I did, I should not have done that. I know you were not ready f-" his words cut when Avni kissed him.

Abhi was preparing for ways to apologize to her, but he did not expect her kiss, she leaned back looking into my eyes and telling him the words he did not expect.

I Love You.

He stood there like a stone not understanding anything about what was happening, he was thinking of the feelings he has towards her, and when he felt like someone punched him when she did not react to the kiss because he was reciprocating the feeling. Tears sprang into her eyes when he did not respond.

He pulled her and kissed her with everything he has and she responded tentatively at first and started kissing him eagerly as she needed his kiss more than air. They came out of the kiss, he pressed his forehead to her and said the words he did not expect to tell another soul in his life.

"I love you Avni" and then there was kissing and clothes flying everywhere.

Avni woke up to the ringing of her mobile, she looked beside her and saw that Abhi was sleeping soundlessly and was cuddling with her. The phone rang again, she untangled herself from Abhi slowly trying not to wake him, and she took his shirt on the floor and buttoned it. She found her phone and saw an unknown number. She answered the call and wished that she has not.

"Hello."

"Well well, looks like Avni Rajput has a good night."

"Who is this?" And Avni wished later that she hasn't asked her that question. That name changed her relationship with Abhi.

"Seema"

I was staring at the report in my hand; my loyal spy got it to me. It looks like my enemies were in love and are in process of baby making. Time to make my first move, I dialed a number and a female voice was heard.

"Hello."

"Well, if it isn't Riya or should I call Seema." The girl, Seema chuckled.

"I have been waiting for your call; tell me what can I do?"

Heya guys, your update is here!!!

Didn't expect the ending right. Just some more chapters and the drama starts. I was getting sick of them both anyway.

I am proud of my boy, he did take my Avni on her dream date. *Actually it's my dream date but no one needs to know except you guys, because I love you all*
