Awkward

Feng Jing and the division two officers got along quite well, but it wasn’t because he was good at socializing. It was because Feng Jing was a legend at the station, everyone was looking at him through tinted lenses.

The drinking session finally came to an end. The two officers who didn’t drink drove Captain Chen and Deputy Captain Zhang home separately. The rest of the people also left together. Only Yin Tao and Bai Luo were left at the entrance of the restaurant to support a staggering Xia Jin.

When Lin Jia saw Yin Tao and Feng Jing, he got out of the car.

“Little Sister Xiaotao, we… meet again.” Lin Jia scratched his head awkwardly and said to Yin Tao with a smile, “I’m here to send you and Feng Jing back. Get in the car.”

“I can do it myself…” Yin Tao felt a little uncomfortable. She was always a little uneasy when interacting with a male supporting character in the novel, like Lin Jia and Feng Jing.

“Go back and drink some snow pear juice with honey. It will help with the hangover,” Yin Tao said, not noticing Feng Jing’s gaze.

When the car arrived at the entrance of the police station, Yin Tao thanked Feng Jing and Lin Jia before walking back to the dormitory.

Lin Jia watched Yin Tao’s backview gradually disappear, and couldn’t help but exclaim, “Little Sister Xiaotao doesn’t look like a forensic doctor at all.”

Feng Jing looked at Lin Jia’s incredulous face and asked, “What do you think a forensic doctor should look like then?”

“I feel that I’ve always been dealing with you.” Feng Jing looked at Lin Jia and felt that he was especially annoying tonight.

“Brother, don’t curse me!” Lin Jia smiled bitterly and started the car. He said to Feng Jing, “Alright, I’ll repay evil with kindness. I’ll be a free chauffeur all the way and send you home!”

“Let’s go to the supermarket first.” Feng Jing’s eyes were half-closed. He was a little tired after a long day.

“Why? Aren’t you full yet?” Lin Jia glanced at Feng Jing beside him as he drove.

“Buy a few pears and go home to make some juice.” Feng Jing’s voice was a little lazy, adding a sense of comfort to the night.
