Chapter 33

Before Le Yu could say anything, Li Bei had already answered him, “I’m fine. I can go home. ”

Li Feng nodded and looked at Le Yu. “Then I’ll send him over tomorrow.”

Le Yu paused for a moment and chuckled, “Hmm, that’s good.”

She knew that after Li Feng came back, it was impossible to keep Li Bei here, but she didn’t expect Li Bei to agree to go back. She glanced at Li Bei, and Li Bei looked back at her. There was a small smile on his face, which made Le Yu even more confused.

Li Bei quickly finished his meal and said that he was going to pack his things. He then scurried back to Le Lin’s room.

The few adults ended the dinner with their own thoughts. Le Yu looked at Le Lin, who was wearing Li Bei’s clothes, and her eyes were full of confusion. What were these two little guys doing?

Le Lin took Li Bei’s bag and walked over to hold Li Feng’s hand.

Li Feng stood up and took his leave. “I’ll be leaving first.”

This was the first time that Le Lin and Li Feng were so close to each other. His daddy’s hand was bigger than his mommy’s and it was warmer. This feeling was very special. Le Lin looked up at Li Feng and smiled. “Daddy, let’s go.”

After sending him to the door, Le Yu squatted down and looked at Le Lin. She chuckled and said, “Cover yourself with a blanket when you sleep at night. Don’t catch a cold.” He didn’t know if it was an illusion, but Li Feng felt that her tone sounded like she was gritting her teeth.

Le Lin blinked his eyes slightly. He knew that his mommy had agreed.

Li Bei wanted to stay by his mommy’s side, and he wanted to spend some time with his daddy. They hit it off and each got what they wanted. In addition, there were also some unspoken little thoughts that could not be told to Le Yu for the time being. They planned to try to match their own Daddy and Mommy!

This bold idea was proposed by Li Bei. Li Feng might not be a perfect daddy, but he was someone he could not bear to part with. Although his mommy had not told him to make a decision immediately, he knew that it would happen sooner or later.

Since he couldn’t give up, then he would try his best to fight for what he wanted. After listening to Li Bei’s remarks, Le Lin was suddenly enlightened. He had thought about this before. After all, who didn’t want a complete and happy family?

The two little fellows had been sticking together for the past few days to discuss the feasibility of this matter. They were both smart people and had a close bloodline, so their communication was smooth and they had a tacit understanding.

After Li Feng and Le Lin left, Li Bei came out of the room. Le Yu looked at him and asked, “What are you two up to again? Your daddy isn’t that easy to fool.”

Li Bei also raised his head to look at her. “Little Brother wants to be close to Daddy, just like I want to stay by Mommy’s side. We can’t just let him hide every time.”

Le Yu was at a loss for words.

Jin Cheng looked at Le Yu in confusion and then at ‘Le Lin’. Of course, with his current understanding of the two little fellows, other than the difference in their clothes, he could not tell who was who. After all, even Li Feng himself didn’t notice that his son had been ‘switched’.

After getting into the car, ‘Li Bei’ placed his little hand into Li Feng’s palm. Li Feng looked at his little face and asked, “What’s wrong?”

Le Lin looked at his face, smiled, and said, “I missed Daddy!”

Li Feng seemed to have been hit by this sweet smile, and his heart softened. If he didn’t look at this face that was exactly the same as Li Bei’s, he would have suspected that he was not Li Bei! After all, Li Bei had never smiled at him like this before. He even said that he missed him.

“Did Kyra abuse you?” Li Feng asked suspiciously.

Le Lin was speechless. Why did his daddy look so silly? What was he thinking?

“She’s very good to me,” Le Lin said, shaking his head.

Li Feng looked at his serious little face for a long time before he slowly nodded.

Butler Li looked at Gu Yue, who was sitting on the sofa in the living room, and felt helpless. He had told her many times that the Master was not at home and he did not know when he would come back, but Miss Gu was stubborn and refused to leave.

Finally, she heard the movement outside the door. Gu Yue glared at Butler Li and quickly walked out to greet him. “Brother Li, you just came back. Where did you go?”

Li Feng looked at her indifferently and said, “What are you doing here?” He looked at the time and said, “Go back and rest. We’ll talk tomorrow.”

“But I heard you were injured! Let me take a look at your wound. I’ve also brought some medicine that’s very effective in healing wounds. Use it first!”

Le Lin pulled Li Feng’s hand and said, “Daddy, I want to drink water.”
