Chapter 30

When Le Yu and her assistant walked out, there were many people outside. Everyone was nervous and their eyes were full of anticipation. The entire operation did not take more than two hours.

Le Yu stood at the back. After her assistant explained the situation to the group, they left in a hurry.

When the Vice-Captain rushed back, he was accompanied by a man. He was Jin Cheng, who had been transferred by his old man to support this mission.

“You’re saying that the people from Saint Gate have already come? Who is it?” Jin Cheng asked.

The chief-of-staff had a smile on his face. “It’s Ghost. This person is really amazing! She completed such a difficult surgery in just two hours. She’s really amazing.”

Jin Cheng was surprised. He frowned and asked, “Is it Ghost herself? How long has she been gone?”

“Look at that question you’re asking. I’ve never seen Ghost before, so how do I know if it’s the real person?” The chief-of-staff looked at Jin Cheng and said, “Major General Jin, why are you asking this? Have you seen Ghost before?”

Jin Cheng shook his head and didn’t answer his question.

He had never expected that Le Yu would come to save Li Feng! What the h*ll was this? Jin Cheng’s heart was very complicated. He didn’t understand why Le Yu would save Li Feng. If he died, wouldn’t it be more in line with her wishes?

Li Mian took over all the follow-up care of Li Feng. He listened to the chief-of-staff’s instructions and the instructions left behind by the people of Saint Gate and gave Li Feng the medicine in the brown medicine bottle.

On the plane back to Sea City, Le Yu had fallen into a deep sleep. Ting Yun looked at her and asked her assistant anxiously, “What’s going on? Why is Ghost like this?”

The assistant was a little frightened by her and said in a trembling voice, “It should be related to Ghost using her internal power. She used up too much energy. She just took some medicine to replenish her energy, so she should be fine.”

“What did you just say? Ghost used her internal force!” Ting Yun was surprised. Then, she pondered for a moment and asked, “Who’s the target?”

“Lord Commander! Li Feng!”

Li Feng only woke up half a day later. When he opened his eyes, he saw Li Mian’s haggard face. He looked away and said in a low voice, “Water.”

Li Mian wet his lips with a cotton swab and said, “Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere? I’ll go get the team doctor!”

Li Feng looked at him and slowly asked, “The doctors in the team are already so good?”

Li Mian understood Li Feng’s meaning and explained, “The chief-of-staff contacted the people from Saint Gate in time. Ghost saved you!”

Li Feng closed his eyes and recalled those beautiful hands. He muttered Ghost’s name a few times and fell asleep again.

Li Bei stood outside Le Yu’s bedroom for a while, but he still did not knock on the door. When Le Yu came back late last night, he saw her pale and fragile face. She looked very tired.

Le Lin patted his shoulder and asked, “Why are you looking for Mommy? She should have been out on a mission again. Let her have a good rest.” He turned around and left.

Li Bei followed behind him. “What do you mean on a mission? She looks very weak. Is she injured?”

“Well…” Le Lin thought for a moment and told him about Le Yu’s matter.

“You’re saying that Mommy is a member of a mysterious organization, and that she went out on a mission during the half-day that she disappeared?”

Le Lin nodded. Looking at his surprised expression, he said with a smile, “Don’t worry. It’s not an organization that kills or sets fire. She usually appears to save people.”

“How do you know?”

Le Lin’s round eyes were full of slyness. “Of course, I have my own channels. If you promise me to keep this a secret and not tell anyone, I’ll show it to you.”

Li Bei looked into his eyes and slowly nodded.

The two little guys, who had come to an agreement, went into Le Lin’s room and stayed there for a few hours. Baby Ning Ning did not know what her brothers were doing, but she was very happy playing with her perfume-making equipment alone.

When Le Yu woke up and walked out of the room, it was a harmonious scene. The little babies were all very well-behaved. She looked at the medicine Ting Yu was brewing for Li Bei. Le Yu received a call from the old master.

“You’re awake?”

The old man’s voice was not very pleasant. Le Yu touched her nose and took the initiative to admit her mistake. “I’m sorry, Dad, I was wrong! I shouldn’t have recklessly used my inner strength.”

Le Shuo’s voice was still cold, but when he heard her voice, he snorted coldly. “It’s good that you know.” He sighed. “I’m really worried about you.”
