“What?” Li Bei was shocked. “Is what you said true?”

Le Ning covered Li Bei’s shocked mouth with her hand and continued to speak softly. “Shh! Lower your voice, don’t let others hear you, or Mommy will be in trouble if they find out!”

What did she mean by that? Was Kyra really his mother? Then why didn’t she tell him directly? Did Daddy know that Kyra was his mother? And why couldn’t he be discovered?

Li Bei’s smart brain started to work quickly. The information he knew was very limited, so there were many things that he could not figure out. However, looking at Le Ning’s clear eyes and Le Yu’s care and love for him these days, he chose to believe what Le Ning said. He had to find Kyra and ask her about it.

However, the situation was not what Li Bei had expected. Li Feng had returned, and Le Yu had just gone to deal with the discovered jar, so she did not know that her daughter had already ‘sold’ her out.

Li Feng noticed that his mood was a little off and asked, “What is this? Are you crying?”

Le Yu touched his head and praised, “It’s much better than the last time. I’ve finished all the silver needles. I’ll leave the needles for 15 minutes. Bei Bei, you have to hold on and not move!”

Li Bei nodded and replied, “Alright.”

Le Yu smiled and glanced at Li Feng. “Let’s go out.”

Le Yu was still wiping her hands with a towel. Her ten fingers were slender and she was stunningly beautiful. Li Feng looked at her for a while and shifted his gaze away. “I heard that you had an argument with Aunt Wang today?”

When Le Ning saw her mommy coming out of the room, she rubbed her eyes and hugged her leg. The little princess was a little tired from playing today. “Mommy.”

Li Feng’s eyes fell on Le Ning. He had an indescribable feeling of love for this little girl. “Why did you bring her here today?”

Le Ning looked at Li Feng. She knew that this was her daddy. He looked exactly like her two elder brothers, but he was a bad daddy. She didn’t want to talk to him yet, so she turned her head away and didn’t look at him.

Li Feng was stunned. How had he offended this little girl?

“She’s a little clingy when she’s sick, and she won’t let go.” As Le Yu spoke, she suddenly realized what they were doing. It was too inconceivable to chat about daily life.

After sorting out her daydreaming thoughts, Le Yu continued to answer Li Feng’s previous question. “It’s not a quarrel. It’s just business. It’s just that it’s difficult to invite the elders in your family. Also, I found something suspicious in Li Bei’s kitchen. We might know the results tomorrow.”

“What is it?” Li Feng’s face darkened.

Le Yu bent down and picked Le Ning up, saying slowly, “There’s no equipment here. For safety’s sake, I plan to go back and check it out.”

Li Feng nodded. “I’ll inform the butler. Just go ahead and check!”

Le Yu looked up at him and asked in confusion, “You don’t look like you don’t care about Li Bei. Why did you raise the child like this?”

Li Feng saw some accusation in Le Yu’s eyes and was puzzled.

To be honest, this woman was right. He had been negligent in taking care of Li Bei.

“He doesn’t even care about Brother,” Le Ning said in a daze.

When Li Feng heard her sudden words, he didn’t get angry. Instead, he smiled and looked at her. “Who says I don’t care about him? You’re getting to know him so quickly, calling him Brother so affectionately.”

Afraid that Ning Ning would arouse Li Feng’s suspicion, Le Yu continued, “Ning Ning’s right! It’s time. I’ll go in and take a look.”

Li Feng stood in the corridor and watched Le Yu carry Le Ning into the room. A strange feeling welled up in his heart. If the Commander had been married before, he would know that this feeling was the same as being despised and criticized by his wife and children.
