Mr Rude & Me (Undergoing Editing)
True to their word, the others did end up leaving straight after 'High School Musical' last night. Nicholas had already fallen asleep during, much to Kyle's dismay, but Nathan woke him up before he could get splashed with cold water.
It would've been funny to witness.
Kyle and I were also very tired from all that television, plus also way too full to function because of the junk food we had.
He was not happy with himself and said he had to get rid of all of it by going to gym first thing in the morning. I just laughed, not feeling guilty at all for my binge eating.
We went straight to bed after.
Jean woke me up at about seven am with a call for Theo because he was acting up again. Poor baby, he really misses me, huh?
It's kind of an advantage though because I at least get to see his cute face. They both looked more like someone I know than ever. Why can't I put a name or a face to it? It's eating me up.
"Why are you up so early?" Kyle asks when I lazily enter the kitchen.
I didn't even shower yet so I'm still in my pink shorts-and-tank too pajamas. Kyle's eyes linger on me for a second before he looks away. I can't bring myself to care that I may look very embarrassing in them. Plus, I'm pretty sure my hair is a mess too.
I'm getting way too comfortable with this guy, but luckily I don't think he minds anymore.
I yawn "I was woken up. How was the gym?"
He is dressed in his gym attire, which today consists of shorts, a loose Adidas shirt and black Adidas trainers to match, making me internally drool at how delicious he always looks like that. His blonde hair is slightly damp and he's kind of sweaty, weirdly adding more to his sexy appeal.
Is he even real? Is it legal to look that good?
His sexily vainy biceps are on full show and so are his legs. I do wish I could be looking at his six pack though. I've only ever seen it once. And I definitely wouldn't mind seeing it again and again.
Did I always have these fantasies about him?
He shrugs "Fine"
"What time do you wake up when you go there?" I ask curiously, sitting on the spinning chair as I watch him make cereal.
"Five am" He replies curtly.
"You're not a morning person, are you?" I muse.
"Why would you say that?"
"You're easier to converse with during the day and not so much in the morning" I note amused "You give me one word answers"
He slurps on the milk on his spoon "Normal people don't like to speak in the morning"
Before I can reply, I am interrupted by a knock at the door. He gives me a look as if to say 'you're answering it because I'm busy and I seriously don't feel like it'. I roll my eyes but do just that.
I am greeted by a very beautiful woman, with light brown hair pulled into a neat bun who smells like roses. She is dressed in a tight-ish formal black dress, red heels, has pearls around her neck and studs on her ears.
She looks rich and quite familiar.
"And who might you be?" She asks politely, looking at me curiously.
Worst timing ever to be greeted by such a person. I'm pretty sure I look like I've just escaped from the zoo. And she looks like she comes from shooting a reality show.
"Chelsea" I murmur, moving aside.
"Mom?" Kyle gapes surprised when she's entered "What are you doing here?"
That's his mom? She looks young enough to be his older sister or something. They don't look very much alike at all though. She looks like... Zorro. Yes, that's who! A lot. Wow. She's like the male version of him or something.
Safe to say... Kyle is his father's child.
She looks like someone else too though. A female. That I know. But who?
Also, I can't believe I'm getting to meet both his parents in space of just two days.
She walks in and hugs her son tightly "Baby. Lord, you stink and aren't you glad to see me? What's with the face?"
"I mean, yeah" He answers moving away.
She looks to my awkward and dazed self and smiles "You didn't tell me you had a girlfriend"
"I'm not his girlfriend" I answer politely.
Second time this week.
"Mom, she's my roommate. Her name is Chelsea-Anne" He introduces, kind of annoyed. Probably at his mom's assumptions.
"Roommate?" She asks confused "Why would you need a roommate? I thought your father was paying out all your rent"
"He's not anymore" Kyle snaps "Do you want to tell me now why you're here"
"Your father and I are in town" She replies.
I would know.
"For what?" Kyle asks tightly.
"Business as always" His mom answers, taking a seat next to me on the other chair.
Kyle groans annoyed "Do you guys have to do your business around the place that I go to school? Seriously, mom?"
I wonder if I should leave them alone.
"Baby. You know I don't call the shots" She coaxes softly "Anyways, I couldn't leave without seeing you"
Is she one those cliche submissive wives?
He sighs "Whatever. Just don't involve me"
"You know if it were up to me you wouldn't be involved in any of this. Ever" She frowns, sounding saddened at the topic.
I would love to know what they're talking about. Maybe it has something to do with Jefferson's 'dirty money' that Kyle once called it. And I do remember him mentioning that he seriously didn't want to work for his father. What kind of business could he possibly be running that's so bad?
"Yeah well, tell that to your husband and your eldest son" He mutters lowly; bitterly.
I really think I shouldn't be here.
"Uhm, do you guys want some privacy?" I ask awkwardly after a while of silence, glancing at the both of their tense looking faces.
"No. Stay" Kyle replies at the same time that his mom says "That would be nice"
Awkward.
"Sweetie, we have to discuss important issues" His mom scolds impatiently through gritted teeth after his response to me.
"If it's something you can't say in front of another person then I don't want to hear it" He demands seriously "I told you not to get me involved, mom"
She sighs defeated "You're so stubborn. Just like your father"
"Don't" He scowls.
"Baby, maybe you should just stop trying to run away from him. He's never going to let you go. You know how he is and you know what he wants" She informs softly.
"I'm not in the mood for this" He bites.
She frowns "I'm just saying"
"I thought you were on my side, mom" He accuses sharply "Why are you saying this?"
"I told you that he was getting impatient"
He sighs after being quiet for a while "When are you guys leaving?"
"On Monday" His mom replies.
"I'll meet you for coffee tomorrow. I just need some time right now, okay?" He informs her.
She nods getting up "Off course, baby"
He smiles as she walks over to his side and tip toes even though she's wearing heels to kiss his cheek softly.
That's kind of cute.
"See you tomorrow" She smiles tightly before exiting the house.
I don't realize it but I breathe the breath I've been holding in. That was very tense. Whatever that was.
Should I ask?
"I'm gonna go take a shower" Kyle announces stiffly before I can give it much thought.
Safe to say, he seriously doesn't want to speak about it. I just hope he won't completely close down to me again.
"Okay" I mutter but he's already gone.
Well then.
He puts whatever family drama and issues I have to shame.

"Kyle?" I croak half-asleep into the phone.
After a boring and uneventful day, consisting of mostly studying, I finally fell asleep. Kyle left after his shower without much word and hasn't been back the rest of the day.
I was a bit worried so I probably didn't get that much studying done. I was way too distracted.
"Chelsea-Anne" He replies in an unfamiliar tone.
He called me just now, to my absolute surprise, and I remove the phone from my ear to see that the time is 23:45 pm.
"Where are you? What's up?" I ask alarmed and fully awake by now.
"Please come pick me up" He says in a weirdly cheery voice.
Oh no.
"Are you drunk?" I scowl unimpressed.
He chuckles "Not drunk. But I may be high though. Alcohol tastes like shit, but weed on the other side is heaven on earth"
"Kyle!" I scold loudly "What the hell is wrong with you? Where are you?"
"Oh relax, Miss Uptight" He snorts "Anyways I'll text you the address right now"
"I don't have a car, Kyle"
"You can use mine. And if you dare crash her, I swear to God, Chelsea-Anne" He threatens "The keys are in the kitchen drawer"
He's really giving me his car. Wooow.
"Fine" I sigh hanging up as get up from my very comfortable bed and get dressed in a matching sweater and sweatpants duo before putting on my sleepers with socks because I'm not really about to wear sneakers right now.
I locate his keys and make my way to the parking lot.
I type in the address he sent me on the navigator and I nervously start driving his car, being very careful because I have no doubt he really will kill me if I do anything to it.
If his car is here then who did he leave with?
I ignore my thought as I continue to drive, following Siri's voice that keeps telling me to take a left or a right. Finally I reach an unfamiliar place, it looks kind of shady. But I don't know whether that's because it's dark out or it really is shady. It's looks like a bar or something.
I park the car, exit and make sure to lock.
I start to make my way inside the place, in search of a high and cheery Kyle.
I'm about to enter when I see a familiar face.
"Noah?" I ask squinting my eyes to make sure that I'm seeing right. What would he be doing here?
"Chels?" He slurs confused.
He's drunk.
I clear my throat awkwardly "Hey, uh, do you know this place? What are you doing here?"
"What are you doing here? And why do you care?" He bites after confirming that it indeed is me "You know your boytoy is here?"
"What boytoy?"
"Chambers" He slurs rolling his eyes "You're probably here for him, aren't you?"
"He's not my boytoy" I mutter "And yes, I am. Did you happen to see where he is by any chance?"
He laughs bitterly "Go check for yourself"
Drunk Noah is a serious jerk.
"Wow" I drag on unimpressed.
"What? Clearly you have a thing for dicks now so maybe if I start acting like one too, you'll
fall back into me" He says emotionally.
Oh jeez.
"Don't you have a new girlfriend, Noah?" I retort "I saw you guys at the ice cream place"
"I saw you too" He retorts back sharply "You were on a fucking date with him. Lisa and I were just there for fucking ice cream"
"We weren't on a date" I defend.
He shakes his head, laughing "Whatever, Chelsea. Fuck the both of you."
And with that he stumbles away.
Oh my goodness. I have broken him.
I calm myself down from Noah's sharp words and my guilt as I clutch the door and enter.
I am immediately greeted by loud music, and the smell of sweat, alcohol, cigarettes and weed. I don't like this place at all.
I maneuver my way past the many dancing and drunk bodies looking for this idiot.
"Chelsea-Anne!" His cheery voice calls out, causing me to turn my back and be greeted by his grinning face "You came"
He has never been this happy to see me.
I scowl "You owe me so much, Chambers"
"Off course" He grins "Can we go now? I have this crazy girl looking for me. She wants me to fuck her and I'm not really in the mood"
Gross.
I sigh as I take his hand with mine, just so I don't lose him because God knows how he'll act when he's like this.
We successfully make our way out without much interruption.
"Do you want to tell me what you were doing here?" I demand, arms crossed.
"I came to talk to Zach. He's always here. And then he ended up getting me high" He laughed amused.
Oh my gosh.
This is kind of funny though. Seeing him look so stress-free, relaxed and happy. I do wish it was under different circumstances and not him being high as hell.
I sigh "I can't believe you"
"You look so cute when you're annoyed"
I roll my eyes "Come on, lets go to your car now"
"You didn't do anything bad to her, did you?"
I shake my head as we reach the car and point to the direction "See? Safe as a... I don't know but you can see that she's unharmed"
"Good" He smiles as he enters in the passenger seat.
At least he knows he's not in the right space to drive. That's really mature of him.
I enter and start to drive away.
"How come you don't have your own car? You're kind of a good driver. Better than your friend" He asks after a while.
I shrug "I haven't gotten around asking mom"
"There's this place I like to go to when I'm high" He announces slowly "Can we make a stop there?"
"Why?" I deadpan "You should sleep"
He groans "I don't want to fucking sleep. I want to go to that place, Chelsea-Anne"
"Fine" I sigh "You'll direct me then. And I hope it's not some other bar or something"
"It's not" He reassures.
After ten minutes of him giving me direction, I'm actually surprised that he could see clearly considering his situation and the fact that it's dark out, we reach some deserted forrest.
"Uh oh, are you planning to kill me, Chambers?" I ask clutching on the steering wheel uncomfortably.
"If I wanted to, I would've done that a long time ago" He deadpans "Probably the time you first asked to live with me"
"How reassuring" I scowl.
We drive in for two more minutes before he commands me to park between some trees.
We both exit and I follow him.
"I hope you know that this place is not made for the shoes I'm swearing" I complain looking at my poor sleepers.
"Hush"
"I can't believe I'm trusting a high person" I mutter to myself shaking my head.
"Oh come on" He laughs waiting up for me since he was a bit ahead "You're in safe hands and you know it, Chelsea-Anne"
I do. I really trust him and I don't know why.
We walk in silence, with the only sound being the leaves that we keep crushing.
Finally we reach what I think is the edge of the place and are greeted by the view of a dam below us and many lights which I'm guessing is the city, ahead of us. I've never seen a view quite as nice as this.
"This is kind of nice" I breathe in awe.
He sits down, his feet dangling and pats the spot next to him "Sit"
I do just that.
"How'd you discover this?" I mutter looking at the many beautiful and mesmerizing lights.
"I was driving around and just found it"
"Oh really? In the middle of a deserted forest? What could you possibly be wanting here?" I ask skeptically.
He shrugs amused "I don't remember"
"So why'd you let your brother get you high?" I enquire looking at him and not the view. Luckily he was also looking at me.
"He said the only way he'd speak was if I took a drag" He informs "I had to take a drag for every question I asked"
I raise a brow "How many did you ask?"
"A lot" He laughs to which I shake my head.
I can't help but admire the sound of his laugh though. It's very beautiful, like music.
"So why'd you let him? I thought you weren't scared of him"
He shrugs "I knew the only way he'd answer was if he felt like he had some control over me. And plus, I seriously didn't want to be sober dealing with him"
"So did he answer all your questions?"
"I guess" He mutters.
"Your mom and him look very much alike" I note since I can't think of anything else to say.
He laughs "You notice weird things"
"It's right in front of me" I defend.
We both then stay quiet for a while, looking ahead at the view. For once I'm not deep in my thoughts but instead enjoying this little moment. I hear him sigh loudly and look to him curiously.
"Mom and I... we owe dad" He starts off.
Oh jeez. Is he going to tell me?
