Zhong Yi rolled his eyes, explicitly showing his disdain and disgust.

They arrived at the same building, and Su Yinan pressed the elevator.

Seeing that Zhong Yi was also in this building, Bai Meijie was inevitably confused. What was he doing here?

Could it be… he was here for Bai Chuluo?

Was their relationship this close already?

Zhong Yi had his hands in his pockets. He glanced at Su Yinan and sneered, “Young master Su’s got a name as a playboy. I’m scared I’ll get some infectious disease being in the same elevator as him.”

Zhong Yi smiled as he explained, “Don’t misunderstand, I’m not targeting young master Su. I mean that I don’t want to breathe the same enclosed air as everyone here.”

At this moment, Bai Dewen and Bai Meijie’s faces had become unsightly.

The elevator door closed, and it slowly ascended.

“He’s so annoying. Does he really think he’s the young master of the Qi family?” Bai Meijie was shaking with anger.

‘He’s just an orphan living in someone else’s home; how arrogant!”

Bai Dewen held his temper. “Never mind, don’t mess with him. You don’t know what his temper’s like.”

Two minutes later, her doorbell rang.

Bai Dewen smiled. “I want to discuss something with you. Is it convenient now?”

Seeing Bai Chuxiao blocking the door, Bai Meijie said, “Sister Chuluo, is there someone else inside?”

Was she implying that Bai Chuxiao was hiding another man inside?

Bai Chuxiao laughed and moved aside, letting them in.

Bai Meijie wasn’t polite at all and looked around everywhere.

Bai Chuxiao frowned, her arms across her chest. “What business is so desperate for you to come over at night?”

Bai Dewen sat on the couch and went straight to the point. “Do you still remember that contract you signed with Sky Corporation?”

“I do.”

“Sky said there’s been some mishap, and the collaboration will be delayed. I feel this is an excuse. They want to forgo the contract!” Bai Dewen paused. “Can you go negotiate with them? You signed the contract after all.”

Upon hearing this, Bai Chuxiao was surprised.

If that was the case, then wouldn’t this be great?

Bai Chuxiao kept a calm face. “Sky Corporation is such a big corporation, they don’t need to trick us. Plus, even if they were to forgo the corporation, what can we do about them?”

Bai Dewen’s face sunk. “I’m worried about this. That’s why I want you to get involved.”

“Uncle Bai, you overestimate me. I don’t have the right to represent the Bai family now.” Bai Chuxiao said.
