After lunch, Francesco and Domenico got back to their work while Alessandro took Bella with him outside.

He was feeling guilty for not being able to protect Bella today but he didn't let his guilt get to him, instead he thought to take Bella outside to make her feel good.

They were 2 min away from their office building when Alessandro saw a small but cute newly opened bakery shop.

He thought to buy some chocolate cupcakes and brownies for Bella as she loved them.

He parked the vehicle near the bakery and went inside with Bella in his arms.

As he entered the bakery, the bell chimed, announcing their presence.

He walked up to the counter, where there was a lady in her early twenties doing something with her head down.

Alessandro said,"excuse me, miss...?"

Hearing his voice the young lady looked up and when their both eyes met, they both momentarily were frozen and staring at each other without blinking.

Their staring session was broken by Bella's voice who was calling Alessandro.

"It's Ava, Ava Williamson sir" the lady replied.

"That's a beautiful name, Ava." Alessandro said.

Ava blushed hearing him, how her name rolled out of his tongue. Her name didn't sound so pleasing to her ears before.

Alessandro when saw her blushing, smirked and said to her,"Ava, we would like to have 2 brownies."

"We also have 6 chocolate, 2 strawberry and 5 dark chocolate cupcakes. It's for everyone, if they get to know we have eaten brownies without them, they will be sad." Bella first said to Ava and her last line was directed to Alessandro.

Alessandro and Ava both smiled at her innocent thoughts and Alessandro kissed her forehead.

"You really have a cute and good daughter,sir." Ava said to Aless.

Listening to her, Aless replied, "she isn't my daughter but my baby sister. Although She is more like a daughter to me." And kissed Bella's temple.

Listening to this Ava breathed a sigh of relief, because she didn't want to have a crush on a married person or someone who is already in a relationship and have a kid.

Alessandro had an amused smile when he saw her act. He wanted to tease her but refrained himself from doing so.

Meanwhile Bella was looking at their exchange, released a sigh and said in her mind,"silly Aless and pretty miss."

Ava immediately packed their order and gave the boxes to them.

Alessandro passed her a small smile which made ava blush. After this Alessandro and Bella went back to their car.

They went to a park to have a peaceful time together.

After taking a seat on a bench, Alessandro passed her one brownie while he took another one.

When they were eating, Bella out of nowhere said,"miss in the bakery was pretty, right? You have a crush on her?"

Listening to Bella, Alessandro choked on his brownies. Bella passed him a water bottle and started patting his back.

After composing himself, he looked at her,"seems like you're spending so much time Marcello, you cheeky little monkey."

Bella giggled after hearing this but said, "I like her,if you want to date her you can. She seems nice better than that office lady. "

Alessandro was first shocked hearing her but did not show it on his face but when she mentioned the office lady means Brittney his face darkened.

Soon there was a smirk on his face when he thought about the special treatment she will receive from her mother and aunt.

"Baby, yes she is a pretty girl but I don't know about dating. If in the future, I will date someone I will surely tell you but remember that you'll always be my priority no matter what." He softly told Bella as he didn't want to discuss dating stuff with her and want to protect her innocence but at the same time he didn't want her to be insecure if he started dating.

After spending time in the park, they went back to their home.

As they entered the mentioned, Bella was immediately engulfed in a hug by her mother, then everyone one by one.

When Francesco and Domenico reached home, everyone was also there for the weekend time together.

They told them about the office incident. After listening to this, they were enraged but worried for Bella.

But Domenico and Francesco made them understand that Bella is fine now and is with Alessandro. So not to worry about her.

They all wanted to torture Brittney and her minions personally but can't because they have a rule that males can't harm women. They have female guards for this.

It was their personal matters so they don't want them to torture them.

Everyone gazed travelled to Amelia and Aurora and they smirked.

Aurora and Amelia also smirked at each other with evil glint in their eyes.

After everyone was assured that Bella was safe. They went to the living room.

Marcello saw a box in Bella's hand and asked,"what is this baby?"

"Oh, these are cupcakes. I brought it for everyone." Bella answered with a cute smile.

Elias came to her to have one but she swatted his hand and said,"Nuh huh, not before dinner."

To which Elias pouted and said ok.

After sitting together for sometime, they had their dinner.

After dinner, everyone was served cupcakes Bella brought as dessert according to their preferences i.e., Aurora and Amelia had strawberry flavored, Elias, Elijah, Ezekiel, Marcello and Julian had chocolate, even Bella also had the same and everyone else they had dark chocolate flavored.

After dinner, they watched some movies together and went to bed as they were tired from whole day work.

Everyone was sleeping except for one, who was Alessandro. He was thinking about Ava. He really liked her at a single. She was simple, sweet and shy, everything which he was not.

He was not someone who goes after every beautiful girl. Amelia has taught them to respect women not to treat them bad except for the ones who deserve it.

He was afraid of involving her in his life as his life is entangled with Mafia.

He already has checked her background which clearly states that she is an innocent girl.

He was in delimma but then he started visualisng her with another man. The mere thought enraged him.

He made up his mind to make a move towards her ASAP. With this thought he went to a dreamless sleep.

After the weekend together, he was eagerly waiting for the Monday to arrive.

In the early morning, he woke up and was excited yet nervous. Who has thought, the person who was never once nervous in his life, will be nervous at the mere thought of meeting a girl whom he likes.

He first then went to wake up Bella as he thought she is his lucky charm.

He made her ready and had breakfast with everyone.

Then he went to work. At his office he was unable to concentrate on his work. His thoughts were drifting to Ava.

He suddenly went outside his office while informing his assistant to clear his schedule for the day.

He went to the bakery to meet Ava. When he entered he saw a few customers was only there and Ava was attending a customer. He sit on a empty table near the window and started waiting for her to get free.

When he saw Ava giving the customer his coffee and going back behind the counter. He immediately got up and went to her and said in a slight gentle voice as he doesn't have the habit of talking in a gentle voice with anyone except for the ladies of his family, "Hi, Carino."

Ava when listened to Aless voice looked towards him and blushed at the endearment, due to which a slight smirk was formed on Alessandro's face knowing his effect on her.

"Hello, sir. How can I help you, today?" Ava replied meekly.

Alessandro doesn't like beating around the bush so he asked in a straightforward tone,"It's just I want to ask you, if you have some time this Friday. Would you like to go out for dinner with me?"

Listening to his Ava was a bit nervous. She started thinking about their status because judging from his clothes. She knew he is a very rich person. She was having insecurities that why a person like Alessandro who is quite a handsome and rich person and can get any girl why would he ask a person like her who is simple, with average looks and not even rich, for a date.

She was in her thoughts, when Alessandro sensed her nervous and tried to assure her,"Hey it's ok. You don't have to be nervous. It's really up to you if you want to go or not. If you say yes, I will be happy but if you will reject I'll try to pester you, so that you will agree to go out with you. I really like and you're very beautiful."

With the simple words, Alessandro lessened her insecurities. He gave her his personal number and asked her to text him, her answer.

After giving his number, he gave her a small smile. Seeing his smile, Ava heart skipped a beat.

Alessandro went away after that with the hope that Ava will contact him.

Leaving Ava behind thinking.

I'm so sorry for the late update. I know many of you were waiting for the update.

Actually I was having writer's block then there was pre marriage ceremony of my cousin that I had to attend.
