Preeti's POV

He was driving focusing on the road, when suddenly I thought that the area was something different. I haven't been here.

" This is not the way to my home" I said.

" Oh it's a short cut actually" he said and I nodded.

Maybe it is a short cut, I don't know about. After some moments, I still couldn't recognize the area but didn't say anything. Then suddenly he stopped the car. I looked at him with confusion.

" There is an old temple here, do you wanna see it?" He asked and who am i to say no to a temple? I nodded. I smiled widely.

Then we got out of the car, it is a completely forest type area. We were walking through the woods. After walking for sometime, i saw a beautiful temple.

It was very gratefully built. I was admiring the temple with a smile.

" Shall we?" Avyaansh said and I nodded.

That's when we put our right leg together on a step and started going ahead. I put my dupatta on my head.

There was the statue of Radha Krishna.

We went and took the blessings. Dear Lord just give me strength in life to face all the hardships that I'll face in the future. I was praying with my hands joined and eyes closed.

After praying i opened my eyes, and saw that Avyaansh was looking at me with a smile. That's when the priest came, he gave us prasad and was going to apply tilak on my forehead.

" Where is your sindoor?" The Priest said. Why would there be sindoor on my maang.

" What do you mean by that?" I asked.

" You are with your husband and you haven't applied sindoor and also you aren't wearing manglasutra" He said.

Then it hit me, he must have confused us as a married couple.

" Oh no, we are not married" i said clearing his doubt, but then God knows what happened, the thaal he was holding fell down from his hands.

" So you both are saying that, you are an unmarried couple and you have entered this temple" he said with a shocked expression making us confused.

" That's exactly what i said" I said.

He was more shocked now, literally shivering. I looked at Avyaansh and he was also confused.

That's when we looked around, we saw that everyone around us was also shocked and looked at us like we were ghosts or something terrifying.

" You both have done very wrong, and still you are standing as if nothing happened" A man with a heavy mustache and turban on his head.

" On this Mandir, there is a curse that only married couples can enter or else the whole village will be destroyed" he said with a scary expression. What is this nonsense, even in this 21 Century people are having this type of mentality.

" Listen all this is bullshit, nothing like that happens, these are just Superstition nothing else, now if you could take a side so that we can leave" Avyaansh said.

" You can say whatever you want, it will not make our beliefs change and now as you both have done it already, both have to get married now in this temple" He said, making us shocked.

" You can't do this" I said shockingly.

That's when some ladies came and held me, while the man held Avyaansh. We both were struggling to get out of their grip but were unsuccessful.

Some of them came and put a red chunni on my head, and a turban to Avyaansh. The Priest was setting up the Havan for the wedding.

They forcefully made us wear garlands. I was in complete shock, what is even happening?

They were making us do the pheras, then forcefully holding Avyaansh's hand they made him put vermillion on my maang, then sindoor.

That's it, it was done and i couldn't do anything. They were smiling thanking God that they are saved, by ruining two lives they are getting happy.

I was looking down the whole time, shock would be an understatement for what i am feeling right now. That's when i felt a hand grabbing mine. I know it was Avyaansh.

He was taking me to the car and i didn't say anything. He opened the car door and i sat inside. Avyaansh also sat beside me and started driving.

It was a complete silence drive, none of us said anything. After a while, we reached he came to my side and opened the door. I saw it was his house. We both entered, his whole family was there.

My mother was also here. " There they are Preeti and Avyaansh bhai" i heard Disha's voice.

Everyone looked at us, they were coming closer but stopped at a distance looking at our state.

It took time to digest the situation for everyone. " What is all this Avyaansh!? i never thought you would elope to marry!" His mother said.

" Preeti how could you go against your Uncle's decision" my mom said, they were all misunderstanding the situation.

" No aunty, it's not like that" he said then elaborated the whole situation to them.

Everyone was as shocked as i expected. "How could they do this!? Because of their stupid beliefs they did this" Vivek Uncle said in complete anger.

" But we can't change what happened and now they are married" Shalini Aunty said.

" Yes i think they were destined to get married even after Preeti's Uncle's denial, they are married" Reema Aunty said.

" You are right, this was written in their fate" Maa said and i looked at her. She came towards me.

" Preeti now you are the daughter-in-law of this house, i know it is sudden but we can't change it" Maa said.

" Shweta ji you stay here tonight i request, everyone take rest tonight, a lot has happened today we need it" Reema aunty said and maa just nodded.

Disha came to me and took me to what i remember Avyaansh's room. She made me sit on the bed.

" Preeti i know it shouldn't have happened like this, but it has done. I have told you earlier also, Avyaansh bhai is a good man, you can give him a chance" She said and i just nodded subconsciously.

Then she brought me some comfortable clothes for her. After changing I drifted off, because of today.

Avyaansh's POV

I entered my room, there i saw her,my wife sleeping on my bed. I stepped forward to her, there was tension in her face. I felt bad seeing her condition.

I couldn't see her tensed face so i came to the balcony. Don't worry love, soon I'll take away all your tension and replace them with only joy and happiness.

That's when my phone vibrated, i picked up the call. " Everything has done according to how you wanted now sir, when will we get our payment" Person on the other side said.

" You will get your payment and you all did a good job, I'll donate extra money to your theatre company and yes from your payment give the priest his share also" i said then hang up.

Yes, it was all planned but i had to do this for my love. I know you are very tensed because of this but not for long.

Everyone said it is destiny, yes which was written by me. But I'll tell her after she'll fall in love with me.

I had no other option than this, I couldn't give up on my love, my life. I just can't.
