(Ruhanika)
Rudraksh and Ruhanika returned home, and the entire family gathered in the living room, ready to tease Rudraksh as soon as he walked in. The duo entered with Rudraksh's arm casually draped over Ruhanika's shoulder, a warm and protective gesture that made them look like the perfect pair. Ruhanika, on the other hand, was happily munching on some biscuits while animatedly chatting with him, completely engrossed in their conversation. The sight of them together instantly melted everyone's hearts, and a chorus of "aww" filled the room as they admired how adorable the two looked. Noticing the attention, Ruhanika paused mid-bite and flashed a shy smile before darting toward Savisha with childlike enthusiasm, leaving Rudraksh chuckling at her antics.
Ruhanika: "Bhabhi saaa"
Ruhanika sat down beside her, and Savisha greeted her with a warm smile.
Savisha: "Ha Ruhi beta"
(Yes, Ruhi dear?)
Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa aap janti hai, humne sab bilkul vaise hi Kiya jaise aapne kaha tha, aur phir dekhiye inhone hume ye meethe biscuits bhi diye, aur usme aur bhi hai."
(Bhabhi sa, you know, I did everything exactly as you said, and look! He gave me these sweet biscuits, and there's more inside.)
Ruhanika pointed toward Rudraksh's hand, where he was holding a bag, and with a cheerful tone said. Savisha, couldn't resist smirking at the sight of the bag, her eyes gleaming with amusement as she shot a teasing glance at Rudraksh, clearly enjoying his discomfort.
Savisha: "Nahi Ruhi puttar ye vo bis....."
(No, Ruhi dear, these are not the bis...)
Before Savisha could say anything further, Rudraksh quickly placed a small box in front of her, his actions swift and deliberate.
Rudraksh: "Bhabhi, eh lo tuhade noodles, hun kirpa karke menu baksh do. Ise hor kuch na sikhao, please!"
(Bhabhi, here are your noodles. Now, please spare me. Stop teaching her anything else, please!)
Ruhanika was all confused and then kept the biscuit packet on the centre table with a thud and stood up but Savisha held her hand.
Savisha: "eh huyi na gal, Ehna hi meri sari gallan kyu nahi mann lende tusi, Rudraksh bhai?"
(That's more like it. Why don't you ever listen to everything I say, Rudraksh?)
Kartavya: ",hunn kedi gal Mahiye??"
(What are you talking about, Mahiye?)
Rishwik: "Te eh biscuits da ki chakkar hai, bhabhi?"
(And what's the deal with these biscuits, Bhabhi?)
Rudraksh: "Kujh nahi, chup kar jao sare! Jab vekho meri life ch hi interest lena shuru kar ditta hai sab ne!"
(Nothing! All of you, just shut up! Every time I look around, you're all taking interest in my life!)
Kritika: "Vaise bhai, tuhadi date kiven rahi? Hmmm hmmm? Sanu vi dasso zara!"
(By the way, bro, how was your date? Hmm? Hmm? Tell us all about it!)
Ashvik: "Kuch mat bol, mainu kuch nahi sunna, te mainu pata vi nahi karna."
(Don't say a word. I don't want to hear anything, and I don't even want to know.)
Ruhanika was clearly confused, her mind racing with thoughts as she placed the biscuit packet on the center table with a frustrated thud. She stood up, trying to make sense of everything, but before she could move further, Savisha gently held her hand, stopping her.
Savisha: "Kya hua Ruhi??"
(What happened, Ruhi?)
Ruhanika gave an angry glare to everyone in the room, and it was enough to make them all understand-their Ruhi was "thodi si naraz sabse" (a little upset with everyone). Savisha, sensing her frustration, gently pulled her back beside her, offering a comforting presence. Even Rudraksh, also quietly sat beside her.
Rudraksh: "Ki Hoya Sohneyo??"
(What happened, my queen?)
Ruhanika: "Ye.. yehi hua na"
(This... this is what happened.)
Rudraksh: "Main samjha nahi Ruhh."
(I don't understand.)
Ruhanika: "vahi toh, hum bhi nahi samajh pate na aapki bhasha phir aap sab usi me baat kyu karte hai?"
(Exactly! Even I don't understand your language. Then why do you all keep talking in it?)
She was clearly frustrated, and everyone around her couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction, making her even more flustered.
Ruhanika: "Ab has rahe hai humpe aap sab."
(Now you're all laughing at me, aren't you?)
Ashvik: "Koi baat nahi teddy, tujhe bhi sikha denge punjabi."
(Don't worry, Teddy. We'll teach you Punjabi too.)
Kartavya: "Oye Rudra, karta kya hai din har tu, sikhata kyu nahi use??"
(Hey, Rudra, what do you even do all day? Why haven't you taught her yet?)
Savisha: "Aur Ruhi, main keh rahi thi ki Rudra bhai ne tumse jhuth bola hai, ye vo biscuits nahi hai jo maine batayi thi."
(And Ruhi, I was trying to tell you that Rudra bhai lied to you. These aren't the biscuits I told you about.)
Ruhanika turned to look at Rudraksh, who was staring at Savisha with wide eyes, clearly taken aback by what she had said.
Rudraksh: "Bhabhi yaar tussi na..."
(Bhabhi, seriously, you...)
Ruhanika shot Rudraksh a sharp glare, her frustration evident, and without saying a word, she ran upstairs, leaving him standing there, unsure of how to respond.
Rudraksh: "Betu sambhal ke"
(Careful, dear!)
Ashvik: "Teddy beta, be careful."
They all turned to Rudraksh, a mischievous glint in their eyes, and couldn't help but chuckle at his reaction.
Kritika: "Jao bhai jao, jaake manao apni Ruhh nu"
(Go on, bro, go pacify your Ruhh now.)
Rishwik: "Vaise bhi din bhar bas pyaar karti hai Angel aapse, ek shabd nhi sunti aapke khilaaf"
(Anyway, Angel just loves you all day long. She never listens to a word against you.)
Ashvik: "Jab dekho bolegi humare Akshh kitne sundar hai"
(All she says is how handsome his Akshh is.)
Kartavya: "Iska alag hi Rona laga hai."
(He's in his own little world of complaints.)
Rudraksh: "chup Karo saree, and bhabhi aap, kya kiya ye aap janti nhi vo naraz ho jayegi toh baat nhi karegi."
(Quiet, all of you! And Bhabhi, you... don't you know she'll get upset if she's teased? Then she won't talk to me.)
Rishwik: "Ohh please bhai, Angel aur aapse naraz possible hi nahi."
(Oh, please, bro! Angel being upset with you? That's not even possible.)
Rudraksh: "Main yaha matha fodi karu hi kyu."
(Why do I even bother banging my head here?)
Rudraksh quickly ran upstairs to his room, leaving the others behind, who couldn't help but chuckle at the adorable antics of the couple.
Rudraksh peeked inside the room, his eyes scanning for Ruhanika. When he saw that it was empty, he immediately understood where she might be-inside the closet. He entered the room, walking toward the closet with a soft sigh.
Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, betu kaha hai aap?"
(Ruhhh, dear, where are you?)
Rudraksh quietly stepped into the closet, his eyes finding Ruhanika as she carefully removed her jewelry. He approached her slowly, wanting to offer comfort without pushing too hard. As he reached her, he gently wrapped his arms around her from behind, pulling her into a warm embrace. Ruhanika didn't resist, though her anger still lingered. Rudraksh smiled softly, his lips brushing her cheek in a tender kiss. He then rested his chin on her neck, holding her close, silently expressing his care and patience as she let out a soft breath.
Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, meri Rajkumari ji naraz hai??"
(Ruhhh, is my princess upset?)
Ruhanika: "Pehle ye aastin niche kijiye aap apni, aapke hath dekh ke hum humari narazgi se bhatak rahe hai."
(First, roll down your sleeves. Looking at your hands is distracting me from being upset.)
(Author: Haa matlab behen aap flirt kar lein pehle)
Rudraksh chuckled softly, his warmth and affection growing as he snuggled closer into the curve of her neck, enjoying the closeness.
Rudraksh: "You and your obsession with my hands."
Ruhanika:" Ek toh biscuit nhi di uper se hum pe has rahe hai, aur hathon se prem bhi karne nahi denge ab???."
(First, you didn't give me the biscuits, then you laughed at me, and now you won't even let me adore your hands?)
Rudraksh smiled softly and gently turned Ruhanika towards him. As he did, she lowered her head, her lips forming an angry pout, clearly still upset. Her hands instinctively rested on his chest, fingers absently playing with the buttons of his shirt, a small, subconscious act that betrayed her frustration mixed with her need for closeness.
Rudraksh: "Aise nahi kaha baba, jaise chahiye mujhe prem kar sakti hai aap Mallika-e-Aksh, and you know that right??"
(I never said that, dear. You can adore them as much as you like, my Mallika-e-Aksh. You know that, don't you?)
Ruhanika: "Toh humse biscuit wali baat jhuth kyu boli?? Aisa bhi kya jo nahi de rahe hai??"
(Then why did you lie about the biscuits? What's the big deal about not giving them to me?)
Rudraksh tenderly tucked a loose strand of hair behind Ruhanika's ear, his touch gentle and comforting. He then cupped her face with both hands, his thumb brushing softly against her skin. Without saying a word, he leaned in and pressed a sweet kiss to her forehead.
Rudraksh: "Betu, vo kya hai na bhabhi bas tumhe ched rahi thi, aur kuch cheezein hai jo tum nahi janti abhi ye bhi unhi ke se ek hai."
(Dear, Bhabhi was just teasing you. And some things you don't know about yet, and this is one of them.)
Ruhanika: "Toh hum nahi jante toh aap bata kyu nahi dete??"
(If I don't know, then why don't you tell me?)
Rudraksh: "Jaana aap ready nahi ho uske liye abhi, I promise jab ready ho jaoge, tab main khud sab bata dunga."
(Dear, you're not ready for it yet. I promise, when you are ready, I'll tell you everything myself.)
Ruhanika: "Aur sab janne ke liye hum taiyaar kab honge??"
(And when will I be ready to know everything?)
Rudraksh: "Jab aap bahar ki duniya ke bare me aur janengi, bahar jayengi, cheezein explore karengi."
(When you learn more about the outside world, when you step out, explore, and experience new things.)
Ruhanika: "Toh ye sab hum kab karenge, aap karwayenge hume??"
(So when will I do all that? Will you help me?)
Rudraksh: "Haa betu, ab sab kuch hoga, har vo cheez jo honi chahiye."
(Yes, dear. Everything will happen, every single thing that's meant to be.)
Rudraksh's voice carried a quiet but firm determination as he spoke, his mind already focused on the plans he and the other men of the family had devised to deal with the culprits. His eyes held a steely resolve, a promise that they would take action. Ruhanika, feeling reassured by his words, couldn't help but grin. Her anger melted away as she wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a warm hug.
Ruhanika: "Thik hai hum intezar karenge, ab agar abhi nahi bata rahe hai toh zarur aap kisi vajah se hi nahi bata rahe honge."
(Alright, I'll wait. If you're not telling me now, it must be for a reason.)
Rudraksh smiled warmly and gently squeezed her in his arms, holding her close as if to never let go.
Rudraksh: "Hayy mera samajhdar betu."
(My smart little dear.)
Ruhanika: "Achcha ab hum kapde badal le?? Hume thodi nind aa rahi hai."
(Okay, can I change now? I'm feeling a bit sleepy.)
Rudraksh: "Ji Sohneyo."
(Yes, my beautiful one.)
Afterwards, both of them changed into comfortable clothes, settling into the calm of the night, and drifted off to sleep peacefully in each other's arms.
The next day, Rishwik was driving the car with Riyanshi sitting beside him as they made their way back from a meeting held on the outskirts of the city. Initially, Rishwik's assistant was supposed to accompany him to the meeting, but due to other urgent tasks demanding his attention, he had asked Riyanshi to step in and accompany Rishwik instead. Although Rishwik was apprehensive at first, wondering if having Riyanshi with him would lead to unnecessary tension or annoyance, he was pleasantly surprised.
To his amazement, the entire meeting had gone smoothly, and Riyanshi, despite the unconventional arrangement, had remained calm and professional throughout. There had been no clashes, no irritation-just the two of them maintaining a focused and courteous demeanor, working together without a hitch. Rishwik couldn't help but feel a sense of relief as he glanced over at Riyanshi, appreciating the calm professionalism she had brought to the day.
Rishwik: "Ms. Sahni, I hope the presentation the client wants will be ready in the next two days."
Riyanshi: "Yes, sir, all the designs are ready. Just 2-3 more, and we'll be good to go with the final presentation."
Rishwik: "Cool."
The car once again fell into a comfortable silence. Rishwik glanced over at Riyanshi, noticing that she was completely absorbed in her phone, her focus shifting between the screen and her surroundings. A soft smile tugged at his lips as he watched her, amused by how deeply immersed she was in whatever she was doing. With a quiet chuckle to himself, he turned his attention back to the road, the gentle hum of the engine filling the air as they continued their journey.
Rishwik's thoughts: "bekaar me pareshan karta hu ise, achchi hai, thodi pagal hai ladaku vimaan, par cute hai."
(I bother her unnecessarily. She's good at her work, a bit crazy, a little argumentative, but cute.)
Rishwik smiled to himself, shaking his head at the random thoughts running through his mind, before focusing his attention back on the road ahead. Riyanshi, sitting beside him, couldn't help but steal a glance at him. She found herself momentarily lost in the details of his features-those few stray hair strands that softly brushed against his forehead, the way his eyes were hidden behind his sunglasses, giving him an air of mystery. Her gaze then traced the sharpness of his perfect nose, the subtle curve of his thin lips, and the ruggedness of his stubble. Her eyes traveled further down to his long neck, where his Adam's apple subtly moved with each breath. She couldn't deny how effortless his elegance was, and in that quiet moment, she couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest.
Riyanshi's thoughts: "Yaar ye kitna hot hai, ye kyu mujhse ladai karta hai, mera kitna man hai ispe line marne ka.
(Oh my God, he's so hot! Why does he fight with me all the time? I so want to flirt with him.)
Riyanshi was completely lost in her own world, a soft smile tugging at her lips as she admired Rishwik. Her eyes traced every detail of his face with a quiet admiration, lost in the moment. Just as she was enjoying the sight of him, Rishwik happened to glance over and caught her red-handed. His gaze made her freeze for a second, and in a rush of flustered embarrassment, she suddenly started coughing.
Without missing a beat, Rishwik swiftly reached for the water bottle from the cabinet in front of Riyanshi and handed it to her with a knowing look. She quickly accepted it, grateful for the distraction. She unscrewed the cap and began drinking, trying to regain her composure. But just as she took a sip, the car hit a pothole, causing it to jolt and swerve slightly. The sudden movement threw the water bottle off course, and the entire contents splashed over Riyanshi, drenching her. Rishwik, now fully alert, slammed on the brakes, his attention immediately shifting to Riyanshi. He turned to her with wide eyes, noticing her glare at him.
Riyanshi: "Kya kiya ye?? Thik se nahi chala sakte car??"
(What was that? Can't you drive properly?)
Rishwik glanced at Riyanshi, but when their eyes met, he quickly averted his gaze, leaving her puzzled. She furrowed her brow in confusion and instinctively glanced down at herself. Realizing that her yellow top had become a little transparent due to the water, she placed a hand over her chest, suddenly self-conscious.
Rishwik: "Ahh, vo umm... I'm sorry. There was a pothole, and it was all an accident. Please don't...umm..."
Riyanshi: "It's okay. ab chalo please."
(Let's just go, please.)
Rishwik nodded as he started the car, but after a few minutes, he noticed Riyanshi was shivering. Her entire top was soaked through, she was still trembling slightly. Concern etched across his face, he immediately turned on the heater, hoping it would help. However, when it didn't seem to be enough, he glanced at her again and something caught his attention.
Rishwik: "Umm kya tumhe sinus hai??"
(Umm... do you have sinus issues?)
Riyanshi: "Tumhe kaise pata??"
(How do you know?)
Rishwik: "Leave that. Do you have a spare change of clothes?"
Riyanshi shook her head, trying to brush off the discomfort. But Rishwik, noticed how much she was shivering. He parked the car at the side of the road and, without a word, began unbuttoning his shirt. Riyanshi's eyes widened in shock as she watched him.
Riyanshi: "Y..y...ye kya kar rahe ho??"
(W-what are you doing?)
Rishwik swiftly removed his black shirt, revealing a black vest underneath. His movements were calm, yet there was a certain urgency in his actions as he noticed how much Riyanshi was still shivering.
Rishwik: "I know this might feel uncomfortable, but please change your top. If you don't mind, wear this. Aman ko bhi sinus hai so I know aise bheegi rahi toh problem ho jayegi tumhe."
(Aman has sinus issues too, so I know that staying wet will only worsen it for you.)
Riyanshi: "B..but...but h..."
Rishwik: "Don't worry, main car ke bahar chala jaunga, and windows tinted hai, if you want lights bhi off kar lena lock kar lena car."
(Don't worry. I'll step out of the car, and the windows are tinted. If you want, you can turn off the lights and lock the car.)
Riyanshi felt a flutter in her stomach as she slowly took the shirt from Rishwik, her heart racing a little. His gesture was unexpected, but there was a warmth in it that made her feel strangely comforted. As soon as her fingers brushed the fabric, Rishwik, noticing her discomfort, immediately opened the car door and stepped outside. He locked the car from the outside, his movements swift and decisive. As he did, one of his men, who had been trailing them for their safety, was about to approach him. However, Rishwik raised his hand to stop him, signaling that he was fine and didn't need assistance just yet. The man nodded respectfully and remained at a distance. Rishwik, standing outside in the cool air, wrapped his arms around himself in a casual gesture, rubbing his arms gently to ward off the chill.
Rishwik: "itni thand me shirt utarva di meri, musibat ki pudiya."
(It's so cold, and she made me take off my shirt. What a troublesome girl.)
As Rishwik stood outside, he suddenly heard the sound of the car door unlocking. He quickly walked up to the window and knocked gently. Riyanshi, now wearing his shirt, rolled down the window.
Rishwik: "All good?? Main andar aa sakta hu kya??"
(All good? Can I come back in?)
Riyanshi: "Haa aap aa jaiye, I'm good."
(Yes, you can come back. I'm fine now.)
Rishwik got back inside the car, keeping his focus on the road ahead. He deliberately avoided looking at Riyanshi just to make sure she was not uncomfortable, but he could feel her gaze on him. He could sense the warmth in her smile, even without looking. Her soft smile made his heart race, but he kept his composure, pretending not to notice.
Rishwik: "Do you need anything? Are you feeling okay?"
Riyanshi: "Yeah, thank you."
Riyanshi smiled to herself, her eyes lingering on Rishwik as he remained focused on the road. She couldn't help but admire him-his determination, his protective nature, and the way he always seemed to take care of those around him, even when it wasn't necessary. As he drove, she quietly appreciated the moment, feeling a warmth in her chest. Despite the silence between them, she felt closer to him than ever before.
Riyanshi's thoughts: "Ye kitna gentleman hai yaar, main hi humesha ladti rehti hu, uper se dikhta bhi maal hai."
(He's such a gentleman! And here I am, always fighting with him. Plus, he looks so fine!)
Soon, Rishwik dropped her off at her home. As he was about to leave, he called Aman and asked him to bring him a shirt. He knew that if he went home like this, his angel, his sister, and his bhabhi would bombard him with questions, and his brothers would definitely not let him off the hook.
At home, the entire family had gathered for evening snacks, everyone chatting and laughing together. Even Aakarsh had joined them, adding to the lively atmosphere. As they enjoyed their time, Kritika began descending the stairs. However, on the last few steps, she misjudged her footing, and her leg twisted awkwardly. A sharp gasp escaped her as she lost her balance for a moment.
Kritika: "Ahhhhh"
Everyone's attention immediately shifted to Kritika as she stumbled on the stairs. Her brothers sprang to their feet, ready to rush to her aid, but Karanjeet swiftly intervened, holding his hand out to stop them.
Karanjeet: "Ruko saree."
(Wait, everyone!)
The others gave Karanjeet a confused look, not understanding why he was holding them back. But his gaze was fixed on Aakarsh, who, without hesitation, quickly made his way over to Kritika. Seeing her struggle, Aakarsh gently took her hand and helped her regain her balance.
Aakarsh: "Dhyaan se meethiye, ruko"
(Be careful, sweetheart! Stop.)
Aakarsh carefully placed Kritika's hand on his shoulder for support, ensuring she had something to steady herself against. He then bent down slightly, his eyes focused on her foot, which she had twisted during the fall.
Aakarsh: "Kitni jaldi hai tumhe araam se utarna chahiye na meethiye, aao ab."
(Why are you in such a hurry? You should've gotten down carefully. Come on, let me help you.)
Aakarsh carefully lifted Kritika into his arms, his movements swift yet gentle. She was taken aback by the suddenness of it but allowed him to carry her. He made his way to the couch, his eyes focused on her to ensure she was comfortable. Once he reached the couch, he gently lowered her down, making sure she was well-supported. Kritika sat there, still in slight shock fromhis gesture. He knelt down beside her, his hands on her legs as he checked her injured foot once more, his concern for her unwavering.
Aakarsh: "Baitho yahi main ointment, bandage sab le aata hu, zyada major nahi hai."
(Sit here; I'll get the ointment and bandages. It's not serious.)
Aakarsh quickly rushed towards his room, his concern for Kritika driving his urgency. Meanwhile, back in the living room, the rest of the family gathered around her. Rudraksh, Rishwik, Amandeep, Ashvik, Savisha, and Ruhanika all crowded around, their eyes filled with worry for Kritika. Kartavya, ever the supportive brother, sat beside her and gently placed her injured foot on his lap, offering her comfort.
Kartavya: "Kittuu, kya hai beta dhyaan kaha tha, lag gayi na."
(Kritu, what were you thinking? You got hurt, didn't you?)
Rudraksh: "Zyada dard hai kya Kriti??"
(Is it hurting a lot, Kriti?)
Rishwik: "Di hospital chale kya??"
(Should we go to the hospital, Di?)
Amandeep: "Di ortho ka appointment le leta hu abhi."
(Di, I'll book an appointment with the orthopedic right now.)
Ashvik: "Haa jaldi se le Aman, precaution is better than cure."
(Yes, do it quickly, Aman. Better safe than sorry.)
Ruhanika: "Kriti didi, hum abhi barf le aate hai, sekaai kar denge."
(Kriti didi, I'll get some ice. We'll do a cold compress.)
Savisha: "Haa Ruhi, jaldi le aana."
(Yes, Ruhi, hurry up and get it.)
Ruhanika turned to leave, but the others began asking Kritika a series of questions. Suddenly, she shouted to get their attention, her voice cutting through the chatter.
Kritika: "Stoopppppp"
Everyone immediately stopped in their tracks, the sudden shout silencing the room in an instant.
Kritika: "Kya ho gaya hai aap sabko?? Zara sa pair mud gaya tha, lagi nhi hai mujhe, ye ziddi doctor bhi na pagal, panic karke gaya sabko"
(What's wrong with all of you? It's just a slight sprain; I didn't get hurt. That crazy doctor of mine panicked and alarmed everyone.)
Kartavya: "Pakka na??"
(Are you sure?)
Kritika: "Haa bhai main thik hu, relax."
(Yes, Bhai, I'm fine. Relax.)
Aakarsh quickly returned, his steps hurried as he made his way back to Kritika. Sensing the urgency in his movements, the others instinctively gave him space, stepping back to allow him to take charge. Karanjeet smiled warmly as he watched Aakarsh tending to Kritika. There was a quiet, tender energy between the two of them, and it didn't go unnoticed by anyone in the room. Even Kritika, despite the pain, couldn't help but smile at Aakarsh's concern and the way he carefully treated her.
Karanjeet: "Chalo sab, Aakarsh sambhal lega Kriti puttar nu."
(Alright, everyone, Aakarsh will take care of her.)
They all initially denied, but eventually gave in when Karanjeet playfully swatted Rishwik and Amandeep on their bums with a stick, earning an immediate glare from the younger men. With a few chuckles and a bit of lighthearted grumbling, they left Aakarsh and Kritika alone. Aakarsh carefully sprayed some relief spray on Kritika's tired feet before gently wrapping a crepe bandage around them. His focus and tenderness made her feel at ease, as he tended to her with utmost care.
Aakarsh: "Kya yaar, mujhse ladayi kaise karni hai isme full concentration rehta hai tumhara, but chalte waqt focus kaha gaya haa?"
(What is this, Kriti? You always concentrate fully on how to fight with me, but when it comes to walking properly, where does your focus go?)
Kritika: "shut up, itna bhi daatne ki zarurat nahi hai samjhe na ziddi doctor."
(Shut up! No need to scold me so much, stubborn doctor.)
Kritika rolled her eyes at Aakarsh's overprotectiveness, clearly amused by his constant care. She couldn't help but smile at how he always went above and beyond for her, even when she didn't ask for it. Aakarsh, on the other hand, shook his head with a sigh, his lips curling into a fond smile. He was used to her stubbornness by now, but he still couldn't resist looking out for her, no matter how many times she tried to act tough.
Aakarsh: "Achcha Pari, I'm sorry."
(Okay, sweetheart, I'm sorry.)
Kritika: "You should me aaye bade daantne mujhe."
(You should be! Acting all high and mighty, scolding me!)
Aakarsh: "Oh hello madam uske liye nahi, daant toh deserve karti ho tum careless women."
(Oh, hello, madam! I wasn't apologizing for that. You deserved the scolding, careless woman.)
Kritika: "Shut up nahi toh abhi muh tod dungi"
(Shut up, or I'll punch you right now.)
Aakarsh: "Achcha achcha thik hai, gussa mat karo... Main vo actually.."
(Okay, okay, calm down. I... actually...)
Kritika: "Bolo bhii"
(What now? Spit it out.)
Aakarsh: "Vo tumse Bina puche tumhe yaha utha ke laaya na, uske liye sorry, vo main Darr Gaya tha ,yaar meethiye isiliye"
(I'm sorry for lifting you and bringing you here without asking. I got scared, so...)
Kritika's thoughts drifted back to when Aakarsh had scooped her up in his arms, carrying her effortlessly to the couch. The memory made her cheeks flush a light shade of pink, a soft smile tugging at her lips. She couldn't deny how sweet and caring he was, despite her initial protests. That gesture, though simple, had meant more to her than she liked to admit, leaving her heart a little warmer and her emotions a little more tender toward him.
Aakarsh: "Sorry meethiye, maaf karogi na??"
(Sorry, sweetheart. Will you forgive me?)
Kritika: "Meethiye bolta hai aur maafi bhi mangta hai, pagal ziddi doctor."
(Sweetheart-and then you apologize? Crazy, stubborn doctor.)
Kritika murmured to herself, a soft smile playing on her lips as the memory lingered. Aakarsh, noticing the change in her expression, bent his head slightly to look at her, his gaze filled with curiosity and affection.
Aakarsh: "Pari maaf Kiya na??"
(Pari, did you forgive me?)
Kritika nodded, her cheeks flushing even more as she tried to hide the blush and the smile threatening to spread across her face. She quickly looked away, pretending to focus on something else, but the warmth in her heart was unmistakable.
Aakarsh: "I think about tumhe rest karna chahiye, aao main help kar deta hu. "
(I think you should rest now. Come, let me help you.)
Aakarsh extended his hand toward Kritika, silently offering to help her stand. However, Kritika looked at him in confusion.
Kritika: "Utha ke nahi le jaoge??"
(You're not going to carry me, are you?)
Aakarsh smiled faintly, rubbing the back of his neck, a hint of shyness creeping up on him that he hadn't expected. It was a rare feeling for him, especially in such a simple moment, but there was something about the way Kritika looked at him that made him feel a little flustered.
Kritika: "Moti lagti hu kya main?? "
(Do you think I'm fat or something?)
Aakarsh's eyes widened in surprise, he quickly shook his head.
Aakarsh: "What?? No not at all, infact tumhara toh weight hai hi nahi."
(What?! No, not at all. In fact, you weigh nothing.)
Kritika: "Ha toh chalo le chalo mujhe."
(Then carry me.)
Aakarsh quickly turned his face to hide the grin that was threatening to break out, not wanting Kritika to think he was being overly eager or desperate. He tried to maintain his composure, but the light-hearted moment was clearly getting to him. Despite his best efforts to appear neutral, the faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips betrayed him.
Kritika: "Chalooo, mujhe Sona hai ab."
(Let's go. I want to sleep now.)
Aakarsh: "Aaho ji Meethiye."
(Yes, sweetheart.)
Kritika couldn't help but feel her cheeks heat up whenever Aakarsh called her "Meethiye." It had become a term of endearment that made her heart flutter each time he said it. Before she could fully process the emotions rushing through her, Aakarsh quickly scooped her into his arms, effortlessly lifting her up as if it was the most natural thing to do. He started heading toward her room, making her feel both surprised and cherished at the same time.
From the hallway, Kartavya and Savisha watched the tender moment unfold. They exchanged knowing smiles, a silent understanding passing between them. Kartavya, who had once been protective and skeptical, now felt reassured and content. He was convinced that Aakarsh was truly the best person for his sister, and seeing them like this only solidified his belief. He couldn't help but smile, happy for Kritika and the genuine care Aakarsh had for her.
Savisha: "Ab toh koi problem nahi hai na aapko??"
(There's no problem now, is there?)
Kartavya: "No, now I'm relieved."
Savisha: "Then come, let's enjoy the moment."
Kartavya slyly sneaked his hand around her waist, pulling her closer with a confident yet gentle motion, his eyes gleaming with mischief.
Kartavya: "Chalo ji, assi ta hun tuhadi har khwaahish puri karde aan."
(Let's go. Now, I'll fulfill your every wish.)
Savisha wrapped her arms around Kartavya's neck, her smile radiant as he effortlessly picked her up. He carried her toward their bedroom, his steps filled with affection and intent. The moment they entered and the door closed behind them, Savisha turned to lock the door and, without a second's hesitation, pulled him close, pressing her lips to his in a passionate kiss.
Kartavya responded with equal fervor, holding her tightly as their emotions surged. Gently, he placed her on the bed, his gaze filled with love and admiration. They let the world fade away, getting lost in the warmth of each other's presence and the depth of their love, cherishing the intimacy that bound them closer than ever.
The next morning, the house was alive with a cheerful hustle and bustle. The delicious aroma of sweets and freshly prepared dishes wafted through the air as Ruhanika darted from one corner of the house to another, ensuring every detail of the lunch and sweets preparation was perfect. Her energy was contagious. However, Rudraksh and Ashvik were in a completely different state-concerned and exasperated. They chased after her with glasses of juice, trying to convince her to take a break.
Rudraksh: "Jaanaa, yaar sab thik hai ab ruk jao tum."
(Janaa, everything is fine now, can you please stop worrying?)
Ashvik: "Teddyy, beta kuch kha le na subah se bhaag Rahi hai."
(Teddy, you've been running around since morning. Please eat something.)
Ruhanika: "Bhaiyuu, Akshh aaj Aman bhaiya Avyukta ko laane wale hai, vo akeli hai jinse bade hai hum. Toh humari zimmedari hai na unka swagat achche se karna."
(Bhaiyuu, Aksh, Aman Bhaiya is bringing Avyukta today. She's the only one older than us, so it's our responsibility to welcome her properly.)
Rudraksh: "This girl and her obsession with being elder."
Ashvik: "kya fayda, rahegi toh choti hi, height toh dekho gudiya jaisi."
(What's the point? She'll always be the youngest. Look at her height-she's like a doll.)
Rudraksh: "vahi toh little little chutku."
(Exactly, little and cute, like a tiny tot.)
Ashvik and Rudraksh couldn't hold back their laughter as they exchanged a quick high five, clearly pleased with their mischief. However, their amusement was short-lived as Ruhanika, having overheard the entire conversation, fixed them both with a piercing glare. Her arms crossed firmly over her chest, and her lips pressed into a thin line.
Ruhanika: "Avyu chali jayenge tab aap dono se thode se naraz honge hum, jab dekho hume chota kehte rehte hai, huhhh."
(When Avyu leaves, I'm going to be a little upset with both of you because all you ever do is call me little. Hmph!)
Ruhanika flipped her hair with a dramatic flair, her expression brimming with confidence, and strode out of the room without sparing another glance. The two boys, who had been teasing her moments ago, exchanged nervous glances and audibly gulped.
Ashvik: "Kab se khane ko keh raha hu vo nahi suna is ladki ne."
(I've been telling her to eat, but this girl just doesn't listen.)
Rudraksh: "Teri hi behen hai na, tu bhi apne man ka malik kaha sunta hai meri."
(She's your sister, right? You never listen to me either.)
Ashvik: "ye koi time hai mujhe taunt karne ka??"
(Is this really the time to taunt me?)
Rudraksh: "Ab kya time dekh ke taunt maru tujhe??"
(What, should I schedule a taunt for later?)
Ashvik: "Rishii ka hi bhai hai na main bhi kaha sensible hone ki umeed kar baitha."
(Typical, I expected sensibility from you for once, but no, you're Rishi's brother.)
Rudraksh: "Ruhh ka hi bhai hai na kaha meri baat ek baar me manega."
(And you're Ruhi's brother, never listening to me in one go.)
Both Rudraksh and Kartavya exchanged a sharp glare but decided to let it go for the moment, walking towards Ruhanika, who was deliberately avoiding both of them. Her focus remained elsewhere, clearly unimpressed by their childish rivalry. Later that evening, Avyukta arrived at the mansion to visit the family. Her presence brought a sense of joy and familiarity. Everyone in the family knew her well, and her bond with them was evident. Rudraksh, Kartavya, and Karanjeet had met her before, though it had been quite a while since their last meeting. Avyukta now sat beside Ruhanika, sharing a warm conversation. Her presence seemed to lighten the atmosphere as she effortlessly blended into the family dynamic, bringing a nostalgic charm to the gathering.
Ruhanika: "Avyu, dekhiye hum na aapse bade hai toh aap hume bhabhi kahiyega, thik hai??"
(Avyu, listen, I'm older than you, so you should call me sister-in-law Okay?)
Avyukta: "Ji Ruhi bhabhi"
(Sure, Ruhi Bhabhi.)
Ruhanika grinned.
Ruhanika: "Dekha hum bade ho gaye hai ab."
(See? Now I'm officially grown up.)
She said this to Ashvik and Rudraksh with pride, a triumphant smile on her face as if she had just won a long-standing debate. Both men, who always teased her about being young, exchanged amused glances.
Savisha: "Main toh humesha yahi kehti hu Ruhi."
(That's what I've always said, Ruhi.)
Rudraksh: "Not again bhabhi please, mujhe bhari padta hai samjhana."
(Not again, Bhabhi. Please, this always backfires on me.)
Ruhanika: "Kya matlab??"
(What do you mean?)
Rudraksh: "Kuch nahi betu tum Avyu se baat Karo na."
(Nothing, sweety. You talk to Avyu instead.)
Ruhanika nodded at Rudraksh, giving him a reassuring smile. He sighed in relief, grateful that she seemed to be in a better mood now. Savisha, however, smirked at him knowingly, her eyes sparkling with mischief. As Ruhanika and Avyukta continued their lively conversation, the rest of the women, including Savisha and Kritika, joined in, creating a cheerful and animated circle. Their laughter and chatter filled the room, with even Akshavi making her way over to join them.
Meanwhile, the men sat nearby, completely baffled by the whirlwind of "nonsense talks" they overheard. Rudraksh, Kartavya, and the others exchanged helpless glances, unsure whether to intervene or endure. Every now and then, they would shake their heads or chuckle softly at the women's hilariously random discussions, secretly enjoying the lively atmosphere despite their confusion.
Ruhanika: "Haa Avyu, aise hi Aman bhaiya aapko daante toh aap humare pass aiyega, hum unse naraz ho jayenge."
(Yes, Avyu. If Aman Bhaiya scolds you, you can come to me. I'll get upset with him for you.)
Avyukta: "Ji Ruhi bhabhi, par aap zyada naraz nahi hona Varna mere bachcho ko kon sambhalega."
(Sure, Ruhi Bhabhi. But don't get too upset, or who will look after my kids?)
Kritika: "Ha exactly kyuki hum sab toh bahar jayenge na girls trip pe, toh ye log Ghar pe sambhalenge."
(Exactly! Because we'll all be out on a girls' trip, and the boys will have to handle the house.)
Akshavi: "Haa vahi why should boys have all the fun, inko rehne do ghar pe."
(Yes, why should boys have all the fun? Let them stay home.)
Savisha: "Haa vahi, infact main toh soch rahi thi abhi junior aa jaye toh next baby bhi jaldi hi plan kar lu, atleast 3-4 bachche rahenge toh Ghar bhara rahega."
(True! In fact, I was thinking, once the junior arrives, we should plan for the next baby soon. If there are 3-4 kids, the house will always be lively.)
Avyukta: "Haa bhabhi, mere tarah se bhi 5 toh gin hi lijiye"
(Absolutely, Bhabhi. Count five from my side too.)
Kritika: "Savi bhabhi ke 4, Avyu ke 5, toh 9 ho gaye, Ruhii tum bhi likha do tumhare kitne??"
(Four from Savi Bhabhi, five from Avyu-that makes nine. Ruhi, how many should we write for you?)
Ruhanika: "Kriti didi, hume toh pata hi nahi nanha baby kaise aata hai??"
(Kriti Didi, I don't even know how babies are made!)
Savisha: "Main bata dungi Ruhi, pehle batao kitne bachche??"
(I'll explain later, Ruhi. First, tell me how many kids you want.)
Ruhanika grinned widely, her excitement radiating as she practically bounced with enthusiasm.
Ruhanika: "toh humari taraf se 6 likh lijiye didi."
(Write six for me, Didi.)
Akshavi: "main toh sabse aage rahungi isme, every year ek.. kriti mere 7 likhna toh."
(I'll take the lead here. One every year! Kriti, write seven for me.)
Kritika: "Okay so in total 22 ho gaye hai. Baaki jo kum hai vo Rishi ke shadi Kara ke puri kar lenge."
(Okay, so that's 22 in total. The rest we'll make up for after Rishi gets married.)
Savisha: "Haa haa, kitna bhara bhara lagega Ghar."
(Yes, yes, the house will feel so full and happy.)
Avyukta: "Ha bhabhi, sare bachche ek sath khelenge kitne pyaare lagenge."
(Absolutely, Bhabhi. All the kids will play together, and it'll be so adorable.)
The women were completely engrossed in their girl talk, laughter and chatter filling the room, while the men sat nearby, looking visibly traumatized by the endless conversation they couldn't quite follow.
Rishwik: "Abe Aman, puri duniya me yehi mili tujhe?? Pagal kar rakha hai sabko."
(Aman, out of all the people in the world, you found this family? They've driven everyone crazy.)
Amandeep: "Avyu ko chod aur Kriti di ko sun, tere future bachcho ki bhi planning ye kar rahi hai."
(Forget about Avyu. Kriti Didi is planning your future kids too.)
Both men exchanged a glance, their expressions filled with pure horror as they watched the girls dive deeper into their animated conversation.
Aakarsh: "Sabka likh rahi pari, par apna bhi toh socho aapke bhi toh honge na."
(Pari, you're writing down everyone else's kids. What about your own? Won't you have any?)
Aakarsh murmured to himself, making playful faces, but as he glanced at Kritika's smile, everything else seemed to fade away. Her smile was contagious, warm, and it filled him with a sense of peace. For a moment, he found himself lost in her expression, imagining a future with her-one filled with shared moments, laughter, and love. He couldn't help but smile, the thought of her by his side bringing an undeniable joy to his heart.
Ashvik: "Is ladki ka kya obsession hai bachcho se, pagalpan ke daure padte hai ise."
(What is this girl's obsession with kids? It's like she's having bouts of madness.)
Rudraksh: "Ganpati ka chanda le rahe hai aise counting chalu hai inki."
(It's like they're collecting donations for a Ganpati festival with this counting.)
Kartavya: "Mahiye ke toh mood swings ke hai, but itne horrible kaise??"
(Sweetheart, has mood swings, but how can they be this horrible?)
Rishwik: "Bhai main chala yaha se, kuch der aur ruka toh Bina shadi ke hi dada bhi ban jaunga yaha pe."
(Bro, I'm out of here. If I stay any longer, I'll become a grandpa before even getting married!)
Rishwik, unable to take any more of the hilarious banter, ran from the scene at light speed, leaving the women to continue their animated discussions. The rest of the men couldn't help but chuckle at their reactions, shaking their heads in amusement. Soon enough, all the men quietly exited, not wanting to deal with the whirlwind of words and topics the women were happily chatting about. Rudraksh, in particular, had a plan. He wanted to take Ruhanika with him, knowing very well that the conversations they'd been having would likely leave her with questions that would eventually lead to some very awkward moments. As expected, later that night, Ruhanika asked him about their honeymoon, her eyes filled with curiosity. However, Rudraksh, ever the clever one, smoothly distracted her with another topic, shifting her attention away from the question. His mind was already set on a different plan for their honeymoon, and he wasn't ready to share those details just yet.
Later that night, Rudraksh softly placed a pillow in his spot on the bed, ensuring Ruhanika would feel his presence even in his absence. He leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, his love for her evident in the tender moment. With a quiet sigh, he left the room, stepping into the night along with Rishwik, Ashvik, and Amandeep. The four of them made their way to Leo's dungeon. Meanwhile, Kartavya stayed back at home, staying by Savisha's side.
Rudraksh stepped into the dungeon and immediately rolled his eyes at the sight of the person sitting in the chair, clearly unimpressed. The others followed him inside, each with their own reactions.
Ashvik: "Aap reh gaye the aaye bina"
(You were left behind without coming.)
Amandeep: "Maine mana kiya par sunte kaha hai kisi ki."
(I told him not to come, but does he ever listen to anyone?)
Rishwik: "Is umar me inko jawani sujh rahi hai, Dadu yaar ek Ludo toh khela nahi jaata hai aapse, yaha maut ka khel khelne aa gaye."
(At this age, he's getting the youth vibes. Grandpa, you can't even play a round of Ludo, and here you've come to play the game of death.)
Yes, the person sitting in front of them on Rudraksh's chair was none other than Karanjeet Singh Khurana, his presence commanding attention.
Karanjeet: "Chup Karo Khotyon, sher budha zarur hota hai, par shikaar ki pyaas kum nahi hoti."
(Shut up, fools. A lion may grow old, but its thirst for the hunt never diminishes.)
Rishwik: "Baba adam ke zamane ke dialogues shuru"
(Here come the dialogues from the Stone Age.)
Karanjeet: "bina pitega nahi manega na tu, bhul mat tum sab naye ho yaha, is Duniya ka baadshah abhi bhi "Shadow King" yani Karanjeet Singh Khurana hi hai."
(You won't get peace without a kick. Don't forget, you all are new here. The king of this world is still "Shadow King," Karanjeet Singh Khurana.)
Ashvik: "Aur usi king ko ek horse riding me Hara ke Kartavya bhai "The shadow lord" ban gaye"
(And that same king was defeated in one horse-riding game by Kartavya Bhai, who became "The Shadow Lord.")
Rishwik, Ashvik, and Amandeep couldn't help but laugh at Karanjeet's unexpected move, while Rudraksh simply smirked, clearly amused by the situation.
Karanjeet: "Us teacher ko baadme, pehle tum teeno ki akal thikane lagata hu ruko teeno."
(Deal with that teacher later; first, let me knock some sense into you three.)
Karanjeet slowly stood up, gripping his stick tightly as he surveyed the room. Rudraksh, Ashvik, and Amandeep-stepped back, instinctively positioning themselves behind Rudraksh to hide.
Rishwik: "Achcha achcha sorry, aapko ab budhha nahi bolunga, suna sab koi is buddhe aadmi, I mean Dadu ko buddha nahi bolega."
(Alright, alright, sorry. I won't call you old anymore. Listen up, everyone: no one will call this elderly man-I mean Grandpa-old anymore.)
The three of them chuckled again, and Karanjeet, with a mischievous grin, playfully slapped Rishwik on the bum, causing him to jump in surprise.
Karanjeet: "Bahaut muh chalta hai tera"
(Your mouth runs too much.)
Rishwik: "Aur aapke hath"
(And your hands.)
Amandeep: "Dadu bahaut jaldi iske bum pe permanent tattoo bana doge aap stick ki."
(Grandpa, at this rate, you'll tattoo something permanent on him with your stick.)
Rishwik shot a glare at Amandeep, rubbing his bum with an exaggerated motion as he tried to mask his discomfort.
Rishwik: "Main tera kya kya banata hu beta dekh bas ab tu."
(I've already prepared for this. Just wait.)
Ashvik: "Chalo ab jis liye aaye hai vo kar le??"
(Shall we get to why we're here?)
Rudraksh: "Oh thank you so much aapko yaad toh hai hum kyu aaye hai."
(Oh, thank you so much! At least someone remembers why we're here.)
Ashvik rolled his eyes in exasperation. Karanjeet, sensing the moment, calmly sat back down on his chair, his posture still commanding and confident, almost as if he were a king settling on his throne. The others-Rudraksh, Ashvik, Rishwik and Amandeep-stood behind him, their expressions were of determination, he arrangement almost resembled that of a ruler surrounded by his loyal princes, ready to defend their honor but visibly irritated by the theatrics.
Amandeep: "Le aao us dharti pe bojh ko"
(Bring that burden on Earth here.)
The men nodded and returned, dragging a man in his early 50s, his hands and legs tightly bound. They threw him roughly in front of Karanjeet's feet. The man landed with a thud, gasping for breath. Karanjeet slowly lifted his gaze, his eyes cold and calculating, and shifted his foot slightly to get a better look at the man lying at his feet. His gaze was unflinching as he studied the man's face, searching for any signs of fear, guilt, or perhaps even recognition.
Karanjeet: "Ohh toh tu hai, jisne meri phool si bachchi par hath uthaya, use chadi se maara."
(Oh, so you're the one who dared to lay hands on my delicate daughter and beat her with a stick?)
Man: "M..a..in nahi, janta ..aa...pko, mu..jhe jaane do."
( I... I don't know... you... please let me go.)
Rudraksh's composure snapped the moment he laid eyes on the man. Rage surged through him like a tidal wave, and before anyone could react, he violently pushed the man back with a forceful kick. The man stumbled, but before he could regain his balance, Rudraksh was on him, his fists landing mercilessly on his face. Each punch was fueled by anger and hatred, as if he wanted to rip every ounce of suffering this man had caused. The room fell into a tense silence, the only sound being the dull thud of Rudraksh's blows and the muffled groans from the man beneath him.
Rudraksh: "Nahi janta, meri Ruhh pe hath utha ke, use teacher shabd se bhi dar Lage aisi halat bana ke kehta hai nahi janta."
(You don't know? You dared to raise your hand on my Ruhi, traumatized her so much that she's now scared of the word "teacher," and you claim not to know?)
Ashvik, who had been silently seething alongside Rudraksh, couldn't hold back any longer. Seeing Rudraksh unleash his anger on the man-Ruhanika's former teacher-was the last straw. Without a word, he rushed forward and joined in, his fists landing alongside Rudraksh's in a frenzy of rage. Together, they pounded on the man, their punches showing no mercy. The man's cries were muffled, his face becoming unrecognizable under the relentless assault. Every hit was laced with the pain and betrayal they both felt, knowing the horrors this man had put Ruhanika through.
Karanjeet: "Rishi, Aman roko dono ko, ye ghatiya insaan itni jaldi toh nahi amr sakta na."
(Rishi, Aman, stop them. This pathetic man doesn't deserve an easy end.)
Rishwik: "Dadu, main nahi rokne wala, infact ye dono ruke toh main khud marunga."
(Grandpa, I'm not going to stop them. In fact, if they stop, I'll beat him myself.)
Karanjeet: I" said stop them."
Rishwik and Amandeep, realizing the situation was escalating dangerously, rushed forward to intervene. Both of them grabbed Rudraksh and Ashvik, pulling them back with all their strength. But Rudraksh and Ashvik were beyond reason, their fury blinding them. They struggled against the restraint, fists still clenched, eager to finish what they started. Their anger was so overwhelming that neither seemed willing to stop, even as Rishwik and Amandeep struggled to keep them from descending further into madness.
Rishwik: "Bhai chod dijiye"
(I said stop them!)
Amandeep: "Bhaii, please stop."
(Brother, let it go.)
Ashvik: "Meri behen pe jo hath uthayega vo nahi bachega"
(Anyone who lays hands on my sister won't be spared.)
Rudraksh: "Usse bhi pehle iske ye hath katenge."
(Before anything else, these hands of his will be chopped off.)
Rudraksh and Ashvik were relentless, their fists raining down on the man with a fury that seemed unstoppable. The man's cries and pleas fell on deaf ears as they continued their assault, each punch fueled by a deep, searing rage. Rudraksh's mind drifted to a memory-Ruhanika's tear-filled eyes when she confided in him about her traumatic experience with her teacher. He remembered the helplessness in her voice when she spoke about how that incident had crushed her spirit and made her stop studying. Her pain became his own, and with each blow, he imagined taking it out on the man who was responsible for breaking her confidence. His heart burned with the need for justice, the desire to make this man feel even a fraction of the agony Ruhanika had endured.
Karanjeet: "Stopppppp"
Rudraksh and Ashvik both stopped mid-punch, their breaths heavy from the intensity of the moment. Rishwik and Amandeep quickly intervened, pulling them both to their feet, ensuring things didn't escalate any further. Rudraksh ran his fingers through his hair, visibly frustrated and trying to compose himself. The sweat on his face glistened under the dim light, and his shirt clung to his body, damp with the effort. With a sigh of irritation, he swiftly removed his shirt, letting the cool air hit his skin.
Ashvik, taking a deep breath to calm his racing heart, paced around in a circle, trying to release the tension. He then unbuttoned a few buttons of his shirt, revealing a glimpse of his chest, attempting to cool off both physically and mentally. The atmosphere between them shifted, tension still lingering in the air, but it was clear they were both trying to regain their composure.
Karanjeet stood up, his expression serious, and placed his walking stick firmly in the man's hand, pressing it down with force. The professor winced and cried out in pain, unable to endure the pressure.
Professor: 'Ahhhhhhh, pl....eas..e leave."
Karanjeet: "Bring the sticks, fast!"
Karanjeet's voice rang out coldly, and without hesitation, one of his men rushed out, returning moments later with a bundle of at least 200 thick, heavy sticks. The ominous weight of the weapons was enough to send a chill through the room. Each stick looked like it was made for pain-solid, unforgiving, and sharp enough to leave lasting marks on anyone unfortunate enough to be struck by them. The man who had been beaten to a pulp lay on the floor, his face bruised and swollen, barely able to lift his head. The sight of the sticks only added to the tension in the air, as everyone in the room knew that the punishment would escalate to something even more brutal. Karanjeet, with a steely look in his eyes, motioned for the men to prepare.
Karanjeet: "Meri bachchi ne teri vajah se Aansu banaye hai, ab teri baari hai."
(Because of you, my daughter shed tears. Now it's your turn.)
Professor: "M...ain, Ja..nta bhi nahi a...apki...."
(I... I didn't know her. I don't even know you...)
Rishwik quickly stepped forward, grabbing the man's jaw tightly, his grip firm as he tried to assert control over the situation, his eyes burning with intensity.
Rishwik: "Ruhanika, Ruhanika Rajpurohit... Vijaypratap ke ghar me torture kiya na tune meri Angel ko."
(Ruhanika. Ruhanika Rajpurohit. You tortured my angel in Vijaypratap's house, didn't you?)
The professor's eyes widened in shock as the realization hit him hard, his face paling as he understood the gravity of the situation.
Professor: "V...o vo maine v...ij..aypratap, ke..keh..ne pe k..iya tha."
(It... it was Vijaypratap... who... who told me to do it.)
Amandeep forcefully twisted the professor's other hand behind his back, pressing on his previous wounds, causing the professor to wince in pain and struggle to break free.
Amandeep: "Kisi ke kehne pe kuch bhi karega, chal main bhi kehta hu, khud apni jaan de de, bol dega?? Bol na"
(You'll do anything someone tells you to? Fine, I'm telling you to end your own life. Will you do it? Tell me!)
The professor was unable to utter a word, his mouth agape in shock and pain, as he struggled to comprehend the situation and the grip on him tightening.
Karanjeet: "Chalo mundiyo, shuru ho jao, jad tak eh chhadi naal maar maar ke eh mar na jave, rukna nahi."
(Alright, boys, get to work. Don't stop until he's dead)
Amandeep and Rishwik exchanged a look of shock, their eyes widening as they turned to Karanjeet, who stood with an air of calm intensity, clearly in control of the situation.
Amandeep: "Dadu, jab tak koi murderer nahi hota, aap kisi ki jaan nahi lete, phir ye????"
(Grandpa, you never take a life unless someone's a murderer. Then why this?)
Rudraksh: "Ruhh pehli nahi jiske sath isne Aisa Kiya tha, kayi ladkiyo ke sath batameezi ki hai isne."
(Ruhi wasn't the first victim. He's harassed many girls.)
Ashvik: "Aur kuch ne toh iski vajah se jaan bhi de di hai."
(Some even ended their lives because of him.)
Karanjeet: "Baitho sare te show vekho."
(Alright, everyone sit back and enjoy the show.)
Soon, the men began their ruthless actions, inflicting pain on the professor by striking him with wooden sticks. Their brutal assault was deliberate and merciless, as they relentlessly beat him, showing no signs of compassion or hesitation. The sounds of the strikes echoed in the room, and the professor struggled to protect himself, but it was clear that the men were intent on asserting their power, using violence to dominate the situation. His agonized cries reverberated through the cold, dark dungeon, each scream a haunting reminder of the torment he was enduring. The air was thick with the overpowering stench of blood, as it stained the floor and walls, mingling with the oppressive atmosphere. The professor's suffering seemed endless, his cries growing weaker with each blow. After an hour of relentless brutality, the professor could no longer endure the torment. His body, broken and battered, was unable to withstand any more of the cruel assault. When the impact of 200 sticks had shattered, the men, undeterred, retrieved more and resumed their savage beating. The professor's life slowly faded away under their merciless hands, his final breath escaping as he succumbed to the sheer force of their violence. The room, already drenched in his blood, stood as a grim witness to the horrific end of a man pushed beyond his limits. Before the professor's life was taken, the men subjected him to unimaginable cruelty. In a brutal display of sadistic violence, they severed his hands, the once steady limbs now reduced to lifeless stumps.
Amandeep: "You guys know what you have to do, right?"
Their Man: "Yes, sir."
Rudraksh: "His family is innocent, so ensure they're taken care of."
Their Man: "Sure, sir."
Ashvik: "Chalo ab chalte hai, kuch waqt me subah ho jayegi."
(Let's head back now; it'll be morning soon.)
Rudraksh: "Main yaha uper room me naha ke aata hu."
(I'll take a shower upstairs and come back.)
Karanjeet: "Ghar hi taan ja rahe hain khotya, othe jaake naha lai."
(You fool, we're heading home. Shower there.)
Rudraksh: "Ruhh jagi ho sakdi hai, mainu pass na pakar, khoon naale range haathan naal usde samne nahi ja sakda dadu. Oh darr jayegi, te main eh hon nahi devanga."
(Ruhh might wake up. I can't risk her holding me with these bloodstained hands. She'll get scared, and I won't let that happen.)
Everyone smiled at Karanjeet, their expressions filled with admiration. Ashvik, in particular, felt a deep sense of pride for his best friend.
Ashvik: "Haa kabhi kabhi jalan hoti hai tujhse kyuki teddy tujhe sundar kehti hai...par meri behen ke liye tujhse achcha koi ho hi nahi sakta."
(Sometimes I feel jealous of you because Teddy calls you handsome... but for my sister, no one could be better than you.)
Ashvik wrapped his arms around Rudraksh in a tight hug, his face lighting up with appreciation, while Rudraksh patted him on the back, a smile playing on his lips as he acknowledged the gesture.
Rishwik: "Ewww, you both are sweaty and hugging. Chiiiiiii"
(Ewwwww)
Amandeep: "2-2 din tak na nahane wala dusre ko chiii bol raha hai."
(Says the guy who doesn't shower for two days.)
Rishwik: "Chup kar tu."
(Shut up.)
Karanjeet, Ashvik, Amandeep, and Rudraksh all chuckled at Rishwik, thoroughly enjoying his discomfort. Rishwik shot them a sharp glare.
Rishwik: "aur bhai aap nangu pungu kya ghum rahe ho, jao na jaake naha lo."
(And, brother, why are you wandering around half-naked? Go take a shower.)
Rudraksh: "pitega beta dhyaan rakh."
(Watch it, or I'll beat you up.)
Rudraksh rolled his eyes at Rishwik's comment, before turning and heading off to take a bath.
Amandeep: "Vaise Ashvik bhai, aapko bhi naha lena chahiye, kyuki ye jo apni chest flaunt kar rahe ho hum me se koi impress nahi hone wala."
(By the way, Ashvik Bhai, you should shower too. Flaunting your chest isn't impressing any of us.)
Rishwik: "Ha agar Akshu ko pic bhejni hai toh batao. "
(Yeah, unless you're planning to send pics to Akshu.)
Ashvik: "Thik keh kar gaya hai Rudraksh, pitoge dono aaj. "
(Rudraksh was right. You both will get beaten today.)
Ashvik shook his head, before heading off to take a bath.
Rishwik: "Chalo buddhe sher the shadow King, hum bahar wait karte hai."
(Let's go, Grandpa Shadow King. We'll wait outside.)
Rishwik placed his arm casually around Karanjeet's shoulders from one side, while Amandeep mirrored the gesture from the other.
Karanjeet: "Hath hatao nahi toh kal nazar nahi aaoge dono kisi ko."
(Move your hands away, or tomorrow no one will see you)
Both Rishwik and Amandeep gulped, their expressions turning more serious as they lowered their heads slightly, standing respectfully on each side of Karanjeet.
Karanjeet: "Hun huyi na gal."
(Good)
Rishwik, Amandeep: "Tussi buddhe ho gaye ho dadu!"
(Grandpa, you've grown old!)
Both Rishwik and Amandeep shouted in unison and sprinted off, laughing as they ran. Karanjeet, amused by their antics, chased after them, chuckling at their playful behavior.
Karanjeet: "Khote de puttar"
(Idiots! Sons of fools.)
