Vo hai Durga, jaise Shakti ka swaroop

Dil me masoomiyat, par aakhon me angaar

Kuch aisa hi hai uska kirdaar"

The next morning, Rudraksh's alarm rang, pulling him out of his peaceful sleep. He blinked and looked over, he chuckled softly as he noticed Ruhanika snuggled inside his vest like a cozy cocoon, her arms tightly wrapped around him. Her cute pout and serene expression made his heart swell with love. Turning off the alarm quickly to not disturb her, Rudraksh gently ran his fingers over her cheeks, marveling at how angelic she looked. Leaning in, he placed a tender kiss on her forehead, savoring the quiet moment. Carefully, he lifted his vest to free her, making sure not to wake her up. Once he placed her on the bed, she instinctively clung to him, burying her face into his chest even in her sleep. Rudraksh couldn't help but smile, his gaze full of admiration and warmth. Sitting beside her, he brushed her hair away from her face, thinking about how lucky he was to have her in his life.

Rudraksh: "Sorry betu, main chahta toh nahi hu but mujhe uthana hoga aapko ab."

(Sorry, sweetheart, I don’t want to, but I have to wake you up now.)

Rudraksh gently kissed Ruhaniks's forehead, watching as a soft smile spread across her face in her sleep. His heart skipped a beat at the peaceful expression, and he couldn’t help but smile in return. After a couple of minutes, he softly began caressing her head, his touch gentle as he tried to wake her up.

Rudraksh: "Jaana, uth jao na please"

(Darling, please wake up now.)

Ruhanika stirred slightly at his touch, her face softening, but she didn’t fully wake up. Her eyes fluttered open for a brief moment before closing again.

Rudraksh: "Betu, uth jao na hume bahaut important kaam hai aaj."

(Sweetheart, wake up. We have something very important to do today.)

Ruhanika stirred again, her body shifting as her eyes fluttered open briefly. Rudraksh gently patted her cheeks.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, uth jao betu, bataya tha na aaj jaldi uthna hai"

(Ruhh, wake up. I told you we have to get up early today.)

Ruhanika: "Par kyuuu"

(But whyyyy?)

Ruhanika let out a soft whine as she slowly opened her eyes, clearly not ready to wake up just yet.

Rudraksh: "Tum utho main batata hu."

(Get up, and I’ll tell you.)

Ruhanika opened her eyes and smiled warmly, her gaze settling on him. His face was the first thing she saw every morning, and it always brought a sense of comfort and happiness. The familiar sight of him brought a gentle peace to her heart as she lay there, still wrapped in the coziness of sleep.

Ruhanika: "Suprabhat Aksh"

(Good morning, Aksh.)

Rudraksh: "Good morning Mallika-e-Aksh"

Ruhanika blushed, a soft smile playing on her lips as she turned to the other side, burying her face in the pillow to hide her flustered expression. Rudraksh couldn't help but chuckle at her adorable reaction.

Rudraksh: "Oye nautanki, chalo ab utho"

(Oh, drama queen, come on now, get up.)

Rudraksh gently turned Ruhanika towards his side, pulling her into a sitting position. She rubbed her eyes sleepily, still not fully awake. He stood up from the bed and extended his hand to her. Ruhanika placed her hand in his, and with a soft smile, he helped her step down from the bed, supporting her gently as she found her balance.

Ruhanika: "Ab kya??"

(Now what??)

Rudraksh: "Aao mere sath"

(Come with me.)

They both walked towards the closet, and Rudraksh pulled out a loose t-shirt and a pair of gym leggings. Ruhanika glanced at the clothes, a bit confused. She raised an eyebrow and looked at him, wondering why he had chosen those clothes for her.

Ruhanika: "Ye kab laaye aap?? Aur iska karna kya hai??"

(When did you get this?? And what am I supposed to do with it??)

Rudraksh: "Ye tumhare liye hai Ruhh, ab jao ise pehen ke aao."

(This is for you, Ruhh. Now go and wear this.)

Ruhanika stared at him with an even more confused expression, her brow furrowing as she tried to make sense of his choice. She glanced from the clothes to Rudraksh.

Ruhanika: "Par hum toh aise kapde nahi pehente na"

(But I don’t wear such clothes, do I?)

Rudraksh: "I know jaana but hum jaha ja rahe hai vaha aisa hi pehenna hota hai, and trust me aap comfortable rahengi, aur agar nahi rahi toh dusra pehen lena Okay??"

(I know, sweetheart, but where we’re going, you have to dress like this. Trust me, you’ll be comfortable, and if you’re not, you can change, okay?)

Ruhanika: "Hum bahar Jaa rahe hai kya?? Aapne bataya nahi"

(Are we going out?? You didn’t tell me!)

Rudraksh: "Bahar nahi ghar me hi, sab bataunga pehle jao change kar lo."

(Not outside, just at home. I’ll tell you everything; first, go and change.)

Ruhanika, still a bit confused, went to change into the gym outfit. Meanwhile, Rudraksh quickly changed into his own gym wear. After a few moments, Ruhanika returned, and Rudraksh couldn't help but pause, his heart skipping a beat as he looked at her. She looked incredibly cute in the outfit, and he found himself admiring her. Lost in the moment, he barely noticed when she waved her hand in front of his eyes. Rudraksh snapped out of his daze as Ruhanika waved her hand in front of his eyes, bringing him back to reality. He blinked a couple of times, then smiled softly at her, his eyes still filled with admiration. Ruhanika was standing before him in a simple yet stunning outfit — a comfortable workout top paired with leggings, her hair tied up in a messy pony tail, and a look of curiosity on her face. She looked effortlessly cute, and Rudraksh couldn’t help but get lost in the sight of her.

Ruhanika: "Kya hua, hum achche nahi lag rahe??"

(What happened? Am I not looking good?)

Rudraksh: "Nahii"

(Noo)

Ruhanika's smile faded, she lowered her head, a hint of sadness creeping into her eyes.

Ruhanika: "Hume lag hi Raha tha, isiliye kaha tha na humne ki nahi pehnenge aise kapde."

(I knew it! That’s why I said I didn’t want to wear this.)

Rudraksh immediately noticed the shift in Ruhanika’s mood. He shook his head gentl. Without a word, he made her sit on the bed, his touch soft but firm, guiding her into a comfortable position.

Rudraksh: "Achchi nahi, bahaut pyaari lag rahi hai aap Mallika-e-Aksh."

(Not "not good," you’re looking so beautiful, my Queen Aksh.)

Ruhanika: "Sach keh rahe hai??"

(Really?)

Rudraksh: "Aaho ji Sohneyo, aur nahi isiliye kaha kyuki abhi toh outfit adhoora hai na jute nahi pehne hai abhi."

(Oh yes, my beautiful one. And I said no because your outfit isn’t complete yet—you haven’t put on your shoes.)

Ruhanika: "Kya ji? Hum kaha pehente hai."

(What? But I don’t wear them.)

Rudraksh ruffled Ruhanika’s hair gently, trying to lighten the mood, before walking towards the closet. He returned with a pair of shoes, his smile soft as he knelt down in front of her. With tender care, he took her feet, slipping on the socks and then the shoes, making sure they fit perfectly. He tied the laces with a focus, his actions calm and loving. When he was done, he stood up, his smile warm, and held out his hand to her.

Rudraksh: "Perfect."

Ruhanika looked at him, still filled with confusion, trying to understand what had just happened. But as she stood up, the smile that had been lingering on her lips finally broke through. She looked down, a small smile spreading across her face.

Ruhanika: "Arehh ye toh mulayam lag rahe hai pairon me."

(Oh, these feel soft on my feet.)

Rudraksh chuckled softly, amused by Ruhanika’s excitement over something as simple as footwear. He realized, with a smile, that she had a bit of a fetish for shoes. Her joy over the small gesture made him feel even more affection for her. He mentally noted that he would spoil her by getting her a lot more footwear, making sure she always had the perfect pair to match her mood and style.

Rudraksh: "Aaho ji Sohneyo, soft hai, aur ab chalo mere sath."

(Oh yes, my beauty, they’re soft. Now, come with me.)

Ruhanika: "Areh par kaha vo bhi itni subah?? Hume abhi bhi thodi si nind aa rahi hai, sone dijiye na."

(But where? And why so early? I’m still a little sleepy. Let me sleep, please.)

Rudraksh: "Nahi Ruhh, aake so Jana tum abhi hume gym jaana hai."

(No, Ruhh, you can sleep later. Right now, we have to go to the gym.)

Ruhanika: "Kya par vaha hum kya karenge?? Vaha toh aap aur baaki sab bhai kasrat karte hai na?"

(But what will I do there? Everyone just works out, right?)

Rudraksh: "Ha aur tum bhi vahi karogi"

(Yes, and you will, too.)

Ruhanika: "par hume nahi karna hai"

(But I don’t want to!)

Rudraksh: "Chalo Ruhh, please."

(Come on, Ruhh, please.)

Ruhanika: "Hum bhi please kehte hai, hume nahi pasand hume nind aa rahi hai, dekhiye"

(I’m also saying please. I don’t like it, I’m sleepy, see?)

Ruhanika let out a fake yawn, clearly trying to shift the attention away from the gym. Rudraksh, however, immediately recognized her tactic and shot her a playful glare. But this time, it didn't affect her at all. She just smiled mischievously, knowing that his gaze was more of a playful warning than anything serious.

Ruhanika: "So jaye please Akksshhhhh???"

(Let me sleep, pleeeaasssee, Akksshhh??)

Rudraksh's eyes widened in surprise as she playfully used her signature "Aksh" weapon—an irresistible tactic she had clearly mastered to perfection. It was a look, a gesture, that she knew would make him bend to her will. He hadn’t said anything, but her heart fluttered, thinking she had won him over. A grin spread across her face, confident that he had agreed. She turned to leave, eager to change, but to her astonishment, Rudraksh suddenly swept her off her feet, lifting her effortlessly into his arms. The shock left her momentarily speechless as he held her with a mischievous smile, clearly not as easily convinced as she had thought.

Ruhanika: "Arehhh, kya kar rahe hai??"

(Hey, what are you doing??)

Rudraksh: "Pagal nahi hu tumhari nautanki me aa jau, aur chup ab"

(I’m not falling for your drama, and now stop it.)

Rudraksh walked out of the room, heading towards the gym with her still whining and trying to convince him to change his mind. Her voice was filled with playful persistence, but he was determined to keep his course. As he entered the gym, he was greeted by the sight of Kartavya, Rishwik, Ashvik, and Amandeep already there. The moment they saw Rudraksh carrying her, with her protesting and whining in his arms, they couldn’t help but chuckle at the scene. Rudraksh gently set her down on her feet, and she immediately pouted at him, her eyes full of playful annoyance. Without missing a beat, she ran straight to Ashvik, seeking refuge from her 'captor.' Ashvik gave her a knowing smile as she leaned into him, clearly still sulking but too cute to resist.

Ruhanika: "Bhaiyuu, aap inse kahiye na hume nahi karni kasrat."

(Brother, tell him not to make me exercise!)

Ashvik gently cupped her face, his touch tender and full of affection. His thumb brushed over her cheek.

Ashvik: "Par beta ye achche ke liye keh raha hai, janti ho Savi bhabhi aur Kritika bhi karti hai"

(But kiddo, he’s saying it for your good. You know Savi Bhabhi (sister-in-law) and Kritika also work out.)

Ruhanika, feeling disappointed by Ashvik's actions, turned away and walked towards Amandeep. Her steps were slow, her expression a mix of frustration and sadness.

Ruhanika: "Aman bhaiya, aap toh samajhte hai na hume, aap kitne pyaare hai, aap kahenge na inse??"

(Brother Aman, you understand me, right? You’re so sweet; please say something to him??)

Amandeep: "Sorry Ruhii, main kuch nahi kar sakta bachcha isme toh."

(Sorry, Ruhii, I can’t help you with this.)

Ruhanika, once again feeling disappointed, made her way over to Rishwik. She had hoped for some understanding, but before she could even speak, Rishwik, sensing her mood, spoke first.

Rishwik: "Nahi Angel, isme main kuch bhi nahi karne wala hu, I'm with bhaii"

(Nope, Angel, I’m not getting involved in this either. I’m with Brother)

She pouted, her lips forming a cute, irresistible expression, and then made the most adorably pleading puppy face she could muster. She looked up at Kartavya, knowing all too well that he wouldn’t be able to resist. With her hand gently holding his, she gazed at him with eyes full of quiet pleading, silently asking for whatever it was she wanted. The combination of her sweet face and hopeful eyes was her secret weapon, and she knew it would work like a charm.

Ruhanika: "Bhaii saa aap jante hai ye hume kya kya kehte hai?"

(Brother, you know what he calls me?)

Kartavya: "Kya little sunshine??"

(What, Little Sunshine?)

Ruhanika: "Ye kehte hai hum toothpick jitne patle hai, hum suii hai... Aur ab humse kasrat karwana chahte hai, hum aur patle nahi ho jayenge aise??"

(He says I’m as thin as a toothpick, like a needle… And now he wants me to exercise? Won’t I get even thinner?)

Ashvik: "Tu ye sab bolta hai meri behen ko??"

(You call my sister these things??)

Ruhanika: "Jii bhaiyuu, yahi sab kehte hai ye hume."

(Yes, Bhaiyu, that’s what he says to me!)

Ashvik shot Rudraksh a sharp glare, clearly unimpressed, while Ruhanika couldn’t help but grin to herself, thinking her little drama was working perfectly.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, betu nautanki ho gayi ho toh shuru kare??"

(Ruhh, sweetheart, is your drama over? Shall we start now?)

Ruhanika glanced back at Kartavya, her eyes filled with expectation. She knew her playful expression was enough to capture his attention once more.

Kartavya: "Ek baar workout karogi na little sunshine tumhe achcha lagega I promise, tension nahi lo."

(Once you start working out, Little Sunshine, you’ll feel good, I promise. Don’t worry.)

Kartavya gently patted Ruhanika’s cheeks, and in that moment, she realized that her charm and antics weren’t going to work this time. With a small sigh, she gave up, understanding that neither of them were going to give in.

Rudraksh: "Ok so let's start with basics, stretching karte hai pehle. "

(Okay, let’s start with the basics, some stretching first.)

Rudraksh began guiding her through stretching exercises while the others got immersed in their respective workouts. However, Ruhanika seemed distracted, her eyes fixed on Rudraksh rather than focusing on the stretches. She couldn’t help but admire him as his muscles flexed and veins popped out with each movement. She cupped her face in her hands, gazing at him with a look of awe and admiration. Rudraksh, noticing her distracted gaze, shook his head with a playful smile, clearly aware of what was happening. He couldn’t help but laugh softly to himself before redirecting her attention back to the exercises.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, chalo now follow me. Place your hand on your waist."

Ruhanika pulled a playful face, her lips pouting as she stood with her arms crossed. She placed one hand on her waist followed by other, a stance that mirrored his, and they both stood there, striking the same pose.

Rudraksh: "Good, now bend to your right and then left."

Rudraksh was focused on his stretches, moving smoothly through the routine, while Ruhanika tried to mirror his every move, attempting to keep up with him. However, just as she attempted a stretch, she suddenly screamed, startling Rudraksh.

Ruhanika: "Ahhhh"

Everyone's attention turned toward Ruhanika as they approached her. Rudraksh stepped forward, his hands gently gripping her shoulders, offering both comfort and support.

Rudraksh: "Kya hua jaana??"

(What happened, darling?)

Ruhanika: "Nas chadh gayi, dard ho raha hai."

(My nerve pulled, it’s hurting.)

Ashvik: "Oh noo, Rudraksh I guess cramps aa gaya hoga"

(Oh no, Rudraksh, I think she got cramps.)

Rishwik: "Main spray lekar aata hu"

(I’ll bring the spray.)

Amandeep: "First time workout kar rhi hai, ek baar doctor ko dikha le kya??"

(This is her first workout; maybe we should consult a doctor?)

Rudraksh: "Mujhe hi dhyaan dena chahiye tha."

(I should have been more careful.)

Rudraksh spoke with concern, his voice soft yet filled with worry. As he gently caressed her waist, his touch was tender, trying to comfort her.

Rishwik: "Bhai aaj ke liye bas karte hai."

(Bhai, let’s call it a day for now.)

Rudraksh: "Haa"

(Yes.)

Kartavya caught the mischievous glint in Ruhanika's eyes and immediately understood that she was only pretending to avoid the workout. A smile tugged at the corners of his mouth as he shook his head at her playful drama, knowing exactly what she was up to. Despite her antics, he also understood the importance of learning self-defense, especially for her safety.

Kartavya: "Enoughhh"

Everyone glanced at Kartavya in confusion, unsure of what was going on.

Kartavya: "Everyone out now."

As they all began to move outside, Rudraksh walked alongside Ruhanika, gently holding her hand. But before they could take more than a few steps, Kartavya unexpectedly reached out and took Ruhanika's hand, pulling her attention away from Rudraksh.

Kartavya: "Aap nahi drama queen, aap yahi rahengi... Ye sab pagal hai aapka drama samajh nahi paaye.. but now I'm gonna teach you."

(Not you, Drama Queen. You’ll stay here. These fools couldn’t figure out your drama, but now I’ll handle you.)

Ruhanika widened her eyes in surprise, realizing that Kartavya had caught on to her little act. Her attempt to avoid the workout had been exposed. As the others turned to look at her in shock, she lowered her head, feeling a little embarrassed. The silent glares from everyone around her made her cheeks flush. She knew she had been caught, and there was no escaping the playful but stern looks from Rudraksh, Kartavya, and the rest of them. She tried to avoid eye contact, suddenly feeling like a child caught in the act.

Kartavya: "Out, all of you, main dekhta hu little sunshine kaise nahi karti workout."

(Out, all of you. I’ll see how Little Sunshine avoids working out.)

Everyone nodded in agreement, understanding that Kartavya’s strictness would ensure that Ruhanika followed through with the workout. They all left the room, knowing that Ruhanika would be in good hands. As they walked away, Ruhanika couldn’t help but feel a little nervous.

Ashvik: "I’m going to the terrace to practice sword fighting."

Rishwik: "Haa bhaii, Ajmer ke Rajkumar hai aap, ab pata chala ye Raja maharajaon wale shaukh kaha se pale hai aapne."

(Oh yes, Ajmer’s Prince, now we know where all these royal hobbies come from.)

Ashvik rolled his eyes at the scene and decided to leave. Meanwhile, Rudraksh, Rishwik, and Amandeep went for a quick jog, pushing themselves through the cool morning air. After about 20 minutes, they returned to the gym, expecting to get back to their workout. But as they approached the door, they heard Ruhanika’s giggling voice echoing from inside. The three of them exchanged confused glances, wondering what could possibly be going on. With a mix of curiosity and suspicion, they entered the gym, only to be greeted with another shock.

Ruhanika: "Waah bhai sa, kitna mazaa aaya hoga na"

(Wow, Bhai Sa, that must be so much fun!)

Kartavya: "Haa little sunshine, bahaut mazaa aata hai, agli baar tumhe bhi le chalunga."

(Yes, Little Sunshine, it’s a lot of fun. Next time, I’ll take you along.)

Ruhanika: "Jii Bhai sa, par hum sabhi sath jayenge, jab Kriti didi wapas aa jayengi"

(Really, Bhai Sa? But we’ll all go together, once Kriti Didi returns.)

Kartavya: "Donee."

Ruhanika: "vaise ye aapka 40 ho gaya bhai sa, 10 aur, aap kar sakte hai aap me bahaut taakat hai bhai sa"

(By the way, that’s your 40th rep, Bhai Sa! Just 10 more. You can do it—you’re so strong, Bhai Sa!)

Kartavya Chuckled.

Kartavya: "Haan ji little sunshine kar raha hu."

(Yes, Little Sunshine, I’m doing it.)

Ruhanika chuckled, taking another sip from Rishwik's protein shake, which he had left behind in the gym. As she leaned back and enjoyed the drink, she didn’t even notice the three men—Rudraksh, Rishwik, and Amandeep—walking in. They were all left in complete shock. They had assumed that Kartavya would be teaching Ruhanika some basic workout moves, but what they saw in front of them was far from what they had expected.

There, in the middle of the gym, Ruhanika was casually sitting on Kartavya’s back while he was doing pushups, as if she were taking a ride. She was sipping from Rishwik's sipper, completely at ease, while Kartavya was doing all the hard work. She seemed to be enjoying herself, completely unfazed by the intense workout happening beneath her. Rudraksh, Rishwik, and Amandeep stood there in stunned silence for a moment, the sight so absurd that it left them all speechless. Kartavya’s face was a mix of concentration and disbelief as he continued with his pushups, while Ruhanika, blissfully unaware of their stunned gazes, seemed to be enjoying her ride and the shake all the same.

Rudraksh: "Mazaa aa raha hai na Sohneyo?"

(Enjoying yourself, Beauty?)

Ruhanika: "Haa jii bahaut."

(Yes, very much.)

Ruhanika hesitated for a moment, then nervously glanced at Rudraksh, Rishwik, and Amandeep. She saw them glaring at her and Kartavya, their expressions a mix of amusement and mock sternness.

Rudraksh: "Kaafi workout sikha diya aapne toh bhai"

(Looks like you’ve taught her a lot, Bhai.)

Rishwik: "Haan na Angel toh expert ban gayi hogi"

(Yeah, Angel must be an expert by now.)

Amandeep: "Vaise toh bade strict bante ho"

(For someone who acts so strict...)

Kartavya: "Vo bas aaj thak gayi thi isiliye, kal se sikha dunga."

(She was just tired today. From tomorrow, I’ll teach her properly.)

Kartavya said with a slight chuckle, all while continuing his pushups, Ruhanika grinned, pleased that Kartavya was on her side, and gave him a playful look.

Ruhanika: "Bhai sa fiftyyyyyyyy."

Ruhanika let out a dramatic shout before gulping down the remaining protein shake, her face scrunching up slightly as she finished it. As soon as she set the cup down, Rudraksh moved toward her, effortlessly lifting her from her waist and placing her back on her feet. Kartavya, who had been watching the exchange, also stood up, brushing his hands off as he looked at the two of them with a knowing smile.

Rudraksh: "Workout karne ko bola toh yaha sawari kar rahi ho tum"

(Asked you to work out, and here you are giving joyrides.)

Ruhanika couldn't help but giggle at the whole situation. The rest of them, seeing her playful reaction, chuckled along, the mood lightening even further. Rudraksh shook his head with a smile

Rishwik: "bhai mujhe nahi lagta Angel se aaj workout karana possible hai. "

(Bhai, I don’t think Angel is going to work out today.)

Amandeep: "Haa na, matlab Kartavya bhai jaise insaan ko bhi mana ke apni taraf kar liya matlab dum hai boss."

(True. Convincing even Kartavya Bhai to switch sides? That’s impressive.)

Ruhanika grinned mischievously, clearly enjoying the moment. The others couldn't help but chuckle at her playful expression, but Rudraksh, still not quite convinced.

Rudraksh: "Main bhi dekhta hu kaise nahi karti tum workout."

(Let’s see how you avoid working out today)

Kartavya: "Little sunshine Runnnn"

Before Rudraksh could catch her, Ruhanika darted out of the room, her laughter echoing behind her.

Rudraksh: "Kya kiya bhai, aise toh manegi nahi vo"

(What did you do, Bhai? She won’t listen now!)

Kartavya: "Aaj jaane de kal se Kara Lena"

(Let her go today. You can handle her tomorrow.)

Rudraksh shook his head, a fond smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

Rishwik: "Bhai chaliye thodi masti karte hai Angel ko pakadte hai."

(Bhai, let’s have some fun. Let’s catch Angel!)

Rudraksh, Rishwik, Kartavya, and Amandeep all sprinted after Ruhanika, who was laughing and darting around the house with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh Ruk jao ab gir jaogi"

(Ruhhh, stop! You’ll fall.)

Ruhanika: "Hum samajhte hai aap hume behla rahe hai."

(I know you’re just trying to distract me.)

Ruhanika giggled and ran towards the terrace. Ruhanika stopped in her tracks, her giggles fading as she watched Ashvik practicing his sword fight alone on the terrace. She leaned against the doorframe, her eyes fixed on his precise movements, admiring the grace and focus with which he wielded the sword.

Rishwik: "Caught youuu"

Rudraksh noticed Rishwik's hand on Ruhanika's shoulder and he playfully slapped it away. Rishwik withdrew his hand, making exaggerated faces, clearly teasing. With a smirk, Rudraksh then placed his hand on Ruhanika's shoulder, but she didn't looked at him.

Rudraksh: "Jaana??"

Rudraksh and Rishwik exchanged confused glances as they noticed Ruhanika's gaze fixed on Ashvik. It was clear to both of them that Ashvik was trying to vent out some frustration, his tense posture and furrowed brow giving away his mood. Even from across the room, it was obvious that something was bothering him Without saying a word, Ruhanika slowly moved toward Ashvik, her eyes still focused on him, leaving both Rudraksh and Rishwik puzzled about what was happening. Kartavya and Amandeep, who had joined them, looked just as confused as the others.

Ruhanika: "Bhaiyu"

Ashvik took a deep breath, trying to calm himself, but it seemed like the frustration he was feeling was beginning to affect his sister as well.

Ruhanika: "Bhaiyu, kya hum bhi kar sakte hai aapke sath talwar baazi ka abhyaas?"

(Bhaiyu, can I also practice sword fighting with you?)

Ashvik was taken aback by her request. His eyes widened in surprise, as he had not expected her to ask for something so unexpected.

Ashvik: "Teddy tumhe aata hai beta??"

(Teddy, do you know how to do it?)

Ruhanika: "Ji bhaiyu, hum dikhaye??"

(Yes, Bhaiyu, should I show you?)

Rudraksh, Rishwik, Kartavya, and Amandeep stood frozen, equally shocked by what they were witnessing. Ashvik, who had been watching Ruhanika with a proud but slightly concerned expression, turned to look at them. Rudraksh blinked, his thoughts shifting. He had only wanted to encourage Ruhanika if she decided to do something—he hadn't anticipated such a turn of events.

Ashvik, recovering from his surprise, nodded and handed a sword to Ruhanika. As she took it, he observed her closely, his gaze shifting between her and the weapon. To his amazement, she effortlessly took her position. It was a stance he remembered struggling with during his own early training. He had never been able to achieve the same level of confidence and precision on his first attempt, yet Ruhanika was already executing the movements with ease.

Both of them raised their swords, their blades connecting with a sharp, resonant clang before they pulled back and took their fighting stances. As the clash began, Ashvik immediately held back, determined not to go too harsh on his sister. But something in Ruhanika’s eyes stopped him. The usual softness that he was so accustomed to seeing in her was gone. Instead, her eyes were filled with an intense, almost fierce energy, as though she were facing an enemy, not her brother.

Rudraksh and Ashvik exchanged knowing smirks, both feeling a surge of pride as they watched her fight with unmatched determination. Her movements were precise, sharp, and full of power. It was clear she wasn't just participating; she was invested.

Ashvik, sensing her fiery spirit, decided to turn up the intensity. He began to fight like a true professional, his sword movements fluid and strategic, yet, to his surprise, Ruhanika didn't flinch. Instead, she matched his every move with a newfound intensity. There was no hesitation, no fear—just pure focus and determination.

Ashvik had expected her to be overwhelmed by the speed and precision of his strikes, but she was holding her ground and responding with double the intensity. It was clear: she wasn't just fighting for fun or practicing. Today, something had shifted in her. She was fighting with all her heart, and Ashvik couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of pride and admiration for his sister, knowing that she was more than capable of standing her ground.

The sound of their swords clashing echoed through the room, the sharp ting of metal ringing in the air as the blades moved in perfect synchronization. Each strike seemed perfectly timed, as if they were communicating through their movements, anticipating the other's next step. Their one hand, holding the sword, moved effortlessly behind their backs, as they exchanged a look that spoke volumes.

In that moment, they both executed the same move with a precision that surprised them. Their swords connected with a swift strike from a lower angle, the force of their blow creating a powerful resonance. A flash of realization passed between them — siblings’ telepathy. But as the sparring continued, Ruhanika’s grip on her sword tightened, and with each strike, she hit Ashvik’s sword with more and more intensity. There was no hesitation now; her strength, focus, and energy were on full display. Every hit she made was deliberate, a testament to her growing power and fierce determination.

The family watched the intense display with amusement. Kartavya and Rudraksh couldn’t help but wear proud smirks, each of them quietly acknowledging the immense growth they were witnessing in Ruhanika. Amandeep and Rishwik, on the other hand, were so captivated by the scene that they forgot to blink, their eyes wide in astonishment at the spectacle unfolding before them.

Akshavi had appeared just in time to witness the remarkable battle. She stood there, completely entranced, eyes fixed on her man as he skillfully faced off with his sister. The sight of Ashvik in action only made her admire him more, her gaze never leaving him, as though nothing else in the room mattered at that moment.

Ruhanika’s fierce energy was undeniable, and the family couldn’t help but feel a mixture of awe and pride as they watched the sibling duel unfold. It was a beautiful display of strength, skill, and the deep, unspoken connection between them.

After a tough, intense sparring session that lasted for nearly fifteen minutes, Ruhanika delivered a powerful blow to Ashvik’s sword, causing him to stagger backward. With a sudden shift, he lost his balance and fell to the ground. The room fell silent, and for a moment, it seemed like the energy between them had shifted completely.

As soon as Ashvik hit the ground, Ruhanika’s eyes softened. The fierce determination that had burned in her gaze during their fight was replaced with concern. Her heart sank as she saw her brother on the ground, and the anger that had fueled her earlier vanished completely.

Ashvik, on the other hand, didn’t feel the pain of the fall or the sting of losing. Instead, a proud smile spread across his face, his eyes gleaming with pride for his sister. He was overjoyed to have lost to her, to witness firsthand how far she had come. His feelings of triumph didn’t come from winning but from seeing her grow into someone so strong and capable.

Ruhanika, unable to hold back her concern, immediately threw her sword aside and kneeled down in front of Ashvik. She gently placed her hand on his shoulder, her face etched with worry. The intensity of the moment had shifted from fierce competition to sibling care and affection. Despite the fight, she couldn’t stand to see him hurt, even if it was a result of her victory.

Ruhanika: "Bhaiyuu, aap thik hai aapko lagi nahi na?? Hume maaf kar dijiye humari vajah se gir gaye aap..."

(Bhaiyu, are you okay? Did you get hurt? I’m so sorry; it’s because of me you fell...)

Ashvik stood up quickly, his expression softening as he saw the tears welling up in her eyes. He gently placed his hands on her shoulders, his grip firm but comforting, trying to calm her down.

Ashvik: "I’m proud of you, my Teddy."

Ashvik smiled warmly at Ruhanika, and seeing his smile, she couldn't help but return it, her dimples making an appearance.

Ruhanika: "Aapko nahi lagi na??"

(Are you sure you’re not hurt?)

Ashvik shook his head with a soft chuckle and pulled Ruhanika into a warm, tight hug.

Ruhanika: "Ewww, bhaiyuu aapko paseena hua hai, aap se badbu aa rahi hai."

(Ewww, Bhaiyu, you’re sweaty, and you smell bad!)

Ruhanika pulled back from the hug and rubbed her nose with her finger, a playful grin on her face. Ashvik couldn’t help but chuckle at her quirky habit, finding it endearing as always.

Ashvik: "Achcha ji badbu aa rahi hai, Rukiye batate hai aapko Rajkumari Ruhiiii"

(Oh really? Wait, let me show you, Princess Ruhiiii.)

Ashvik, his arms still outstretched, but Ruhanika quickly ran towards Rudraksh, seeking comfort.

Ruhanika: "Akshh, dekhiye bhaiyu hume tang kar rahe hai."

(Akshhh, look, Bhaiyu is teasing me!)

Ashvik: "Jhuthiiii"

(Liarrr.)

Ruhanika giggled softly, hiding her face behind Rudraksh, her playful eyes peeking out to catch a glimpse of Ashvik. He stood there with his hands on his waist, glaring at her, though his lips betrayed him with a smile.

Akshavi: "Oh my God, you look so hot and sexy, Sugarpieeeee!"

Ashvik turned his gaze to Akshavi, who was standing beside Rishwik, her eyes wide and her mouth hanging open in awe as she stared at him. The sudden attention made Ashvik feel flustered, and he quickly glanced away, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi, aap kab aayi humne aapko bahaut yaad kiya"

(Bhabhi! When did you come? I missed you so much!)

Rishwik noticed Akshavi's attention drifting toward Ashvik, who was casually dressed in sweatpants and a vest. Ruhanika's frown deepened as Akshavi didn't listen to her words. Rishwik shook Akshavi gently, trying to snap her out of her trance.

Rishwik: "Apne bekaar khayalo ki duniya se bahar aa chichori ladki"

(Step out of your useless fantasies, silly girl.)

Akshavi snapped out of her daze, giving a sheepish smile to Ashvik, who simply shook his head in response, amused by her behavior. He casually grabbed a towel and draped it around his neck, clearly unfazed by the situation. Meanwhile, Rudraksh, noticing Ruhanika’s frown, gently pulled her from behind him and placed his hands on her shoulders.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, betu ye sword fight kaise aati hai aapko??"

(Ruhh, sweetheart, how do you know sword fighting?)

Ruhanika: "Nima ne hume sikhaya hai, vo keh rahi thi hum sach ki Rajkumari hai aur hume ye aana chahiye."

(Nima taught me. She said I’m a real princess and I should know this.)

Rishwik: "Areh waah Angel, tum toh isse kisi ko bhi maar sakti ho, you are so good at this."

(Wow, Angel, you could defeat anyone with this. You’re so good!)

Ruhanika: "Nahi Rishi Bhai, talwarbaazi aatma raksha ke liye hoti hai kisi ko hani pohchane ke liye nahi."

(No, Rishi Bhai. Sword fighting is for self-defense, not for harming anyone.)

Everyone around her couldn't help but smile at her thoughts.

Kartavya: "Little sunshine toh kaafi samajh daar hai, mere back pe baithi toh laga jaise kisi ne cotton bag rakh diya ho par tumme toh bahaut dum hai yaar."

(Little Sunshine is really understanding. When she sat on my back, it felt like someone had placed a cotton bag on me, but you—man, you've got some serious strength!)

Amandeep: "Ruhii, yaar mujhe bhi sikha Dena ye, so that main bhi in 4 shaitano se lad saku."

(Ruhii, buddy, teach me this too so I can deal with these four troublemakers!)

Ruhanika giggled at the sight of the four men glaring at Amandeep, who immediately shut his mouth, realizing he had just stepped into a bit of trouble.

Ruhanika: "Ye aap sab Aman bhaiya ko darate kyu hai baat baat pe??"

(Why do you all keep intimidating Aman bhaiya over every little thing?)

Amandeep, sensing the playful tension and the glares, couldn't help but smile at the situation. In a moment of pure mischief, he quickly hid behind Ruhanika, as though seeking her protection from the group's glares.

Amandeep: "Ha Ruhi pucho sab Aisa hi karte hai mere sath."

(Yes, Ruhi, ask them! This is exactly how they treat me all the time.)

Ruhanika: "Hum hai na Aman bhaiya aap fikr mat kijiye."

(Don’t worry, Aman bhaiya, I'm here for you.)

Amandeep flashed a winning grin at the group, enjoying the playful moment. The others rolled their eyes at his antics, but Kartavya, who had been watching closely, couldn't help but smile. It had been a long time since Amandeep had shown this side of himself to anyone other than Rishwik. Kartavya appreciated seeing Amandeep open up, and the genuine smile that spread across his face was a rare moment of warmth in the usually serious and composed Amandeep.

Rudraksh: "Chalo ab fresh ho jao bahaut kasrat kar li hai tumne. "

(Alright, now go freshen up. You’ve done quite the workout.)

Rudraksh held Ruhanika's hand and began walking, but she glanced back over her shoulder and said with a mischievous grin.

Ruhanika: "Bhai sa hum kal phir aayenge uper baith jayenge aur aap kasrat karna bada mazaa aayega, Rishi Bhai ka protein shake bhi le lenge."

(Bhai sa, we’ll come again tomorrow, sit on your back, and you can work out. It’ll be so much fun! And we’ll also take Rishi Bhai’s protein shake.)

Rudraksh: "Chal rahi ho ya phir se zabardasti leke jau."

(Are you coming, or do I need to carry you again by force?)

They all giggled, and Rudraksh, with a playful smile, took Ruhanika back to their room.

Ashvik: "Aur janeman tum pervert woman stop gawking at me."

(And darling, you pervert woman, stop gawking at me.)

Akshavi: "Agar hone wala pati itna hot and sexy ho toh taadne me kaisi sharam."

(If my future husband is so hot and sexy, then what’s the harm in staring?)

Ashvik chuckled at the playful situation, shaking his head as the others left, giving the couple some space. Akshavi, with a mischievous grin, held Ashvik's biceps and traced her finger over it, enjoying the moment. Ashvik raised an eyebrow, amused by her actions,

Akshavi: "Sugarpieeeee, main kya keh rhi thi ki aap kuch der aise hi baithenge kya??"

(Sugarpieee, what I was saying is—could you sit like that for a little longer?)

Ashvik: "Kyuu"

(Why?)

Akshavi: "vo mera na man nahi bhara hai, main aapko aur taadna chahti hu hotty."

(It’s just that I’m not done yet. I want to keep staring at you, hotty!)

Ashvik's eyes widened in surprise as Akshavi continued tracing his biceps. He quickly freed his hand from her grip, trying to maintain his composure.

Ashvik: "Besharam aurat."

(Shameless woman.)

Akshavi: "Areh, ab pasandida mard se kaisi sharam??"

(Oh, what’s the shame when it’s your favorite man?)

Ashvik: "Hadd hai is ladki ki"

(This girl is unbelievable!)

Ashvik walked back to his room, his steps quickening slightly as Akshavi continued to follow him, laughing and teasing.

In Rudraksh and Ruhanika's room,

Rudraksh gently made Ruhanika sit on the bed, his eyes softening as he sat in front of her, holding her hands. Ruhanika looked at him, her expression a mix of curiosity and confusion. She wasn’t sure what he was about to say or do, but she could tell it was something important. Rudraksh gave her a reassuring smile, his thumb softly brushing over her knuckles, as he prepared to speak, his gaze never leaving hers.

Ruhanika: "Kya hua Aksh, aapko koi pareshani hai?"

(What happened, Aksh? Are you facing any trouble?)

Rudraksh: "Nahi Ruhh, par ab main kuch samjha raha hu vo dhyaan se sunna, actually meri hi galti hai mujhe tumhe gym le jane se pehle hi ye kehna chahiye tha"

(No, Ruhh, but I need to explain something to you carefully. Actually, it’s my fault for not telling you this before taking you to the gym.)

Ruhanika nodded, still feeling more confused.

Ruhanika: "Kahiye"

(Go ahead.)

Rudraksh gently caressed the back of her palm, making her smile.

Rudraksh: "Jaana, jaise tumhe Nima ne sword fight sikhayi na, vaise hi kuch aur cheeze hai toh har kisi ko aani chahiye"

(Sweetheart, just like Nima taught you sword fighting, there are some other things that everyone should know.)

Ruhanika: "jaise??"

(Like what?)

Rudraksh: "Achcha batao tumhe sword fight kyu sikhayi Nima ne?"

(Okay, tell me, why did Nima teach you sword fighting?)

Ruhanika: "Aatma raksha ke liye, unhone kaha tha ki koi hume tang kare toh hum apni rakha kar sake talwar se, par phir na pata nahi kaise us ghar se sare talwaar hata diye gaye."

(For self-defense. She said if someone bothers us, we should be able to protect ourselves using a sword. But then, somehow, all the swords were removed from the house.)

Ruhanika spoke with a hint of sadness, and Rudraksh immediately understood who was behind this. Anger surged within him, but he composed himself, holding back for Ruhanika’s sake.

Rudraksh: "vo chodo Jaana, toh jaisa tumne kaha aatma raksha ke liye toh socho agar kabhi koi tang kare aur tumhare pass talwar nahi hai toh aap kya karengi??"

(Forget that, sweetheart. Just think, if someone ever bothers you and you don’t have a sword, what will you do?)

Ruhanika: "Par aisa kyu hoga?? Aap rahenge na humare sath aur hum toh bahar jaate hi nahi na."

(But why would that happen? You’ll be with me, right? And I don’t even go outside.)

Rudraksh: "Par betu kya ho agar main us waqt tumhare sath nahi rahu??"

(But what if I’m not with you at that time?)

Ruhanika's face drained of color as she shook her head, a wave of disbelief and hurt crossing her features. Her eyes started to glisten with unshed tears, reflecting the emotions she was trying to hold back.

Ruhanika: "Aap humare sath nahi honge aise kyu keh rahe hai?? Hum nahi jayenge aapko chod ke kabhi, hume mat bhejiyega kahi"

(Why are you saying that you won’t be with me? I’ll never leave you. Please don’t send me anywhere.)

Rudraksh immediately pulled her into a tight embrace, his arms wrapping around her as she trembled in his hold.

Rudraksh: "Main kahi nahi bhej raha tumhe Ruhh, bas kuch samjha raha hu, yaha dekho"

(I’m not sending you anywhere, Ruhh. I’m just explaining something. Look here.)

Ruhanika gently pulled back, her teary eyes meeting his. She searched his face, her expression a mixture of vulnerability and confusion. Rudraksh softly cupped her face with his hands.

Rudraksh: "Achcha maano, kabhi mujhe kisi madad ki zarurat padi toh kya tum nahi karogi??"

(Imagine, if I ever needed help, would you not help me?)

Ruhanika: "Areh aap kahiye na hume bilkul karenge"

(Oh, please ask, I’ll absolutely help you.)

Rudraksh tenderly wiped away the last of her tears, his thumb brushing gently against her skin. He then leaned in, pressing a soft, reassuring kiss to her forehead.

Rudraksh: "Toh isiliye betu, hume khud ki aur humare aas pass ke logo ko Raksha ke liye madad karne ke liye thoda strong toh Banna padega na, isiliye main chahta hu ki aap Self defence sikhe, aur iski shuruwat hum workout se karenge"

(That’s why, sweetheart, to protect ourselves and help the people around us, we need to be a little strong. That’s why I want you to learn self-defense. We’ll start with workouts.)

Ruhanika: "Par phir aap kehte hai hum suii jaise parle hai toh phir"

(But then you say I’m like a needle; how can I?)

Rudraksh chuckled softly.

Rudraksh: "Tumhare khane ka dhyan main rakh lunga"

(I’ll take care of your diet.)

Ruhanika: "Thik hai, kal se hum achche se sikhenge sab."

(Alright, from tomorrow, I’ll learn properly.)

Rudraksh: "That's like my girl"

(That’s my girl!)

Ruhanika grinned, her eyes lighting up.

Ruhanika: "par pehle bhai sa ke uper baith ke unse vo kasrat karwayenge."

(But first, I’ll sit on Bhai Sa and make him exercise; it’ll be so fun!)

She giggled, clearly enjoying the playful moment, but Rudraksh's expression shifted as he pouted, his jealousy subtly creeping in.

Rudraksh: "Kartavya bhai ke uper kyu baithna hai, main bhi sambhal sakta hu tumhe, main bhi kar sakta hu pushups tumhe apne uper bitha ke"

(Why sit on Kartavya Bhai? I can handle you. I can do push-ups with you sitting on me too.)

Ruhanika: "Kya aap bura maan rahe hai??"

(Are you upset?)

Ruhanika asked with a teasing smile, her eyes sparkling with mischief. Rudraksh mock-glared at her, trying to appear serious, but the playful glint in his eyes betrayed him. Ruhanika couldn’t hold back and burst into giggles.

Rudraksh: "Ruhhhh"

Ruhanika: "Achcha koi baat nahi kal hum aap ke uper baith jayenge, par abhi hum zara taiyaar ho jate hai hum bahaut kaam hai aaj."

(Okay, no problem. Tomorrow, I’ll sit on you, but for now, I’ll get ready. I have a lot to do today.)

Rudraksh: "Uchal kudd me alawa aur kya hi kaam rehta hai tumhe."

(Other than jumping around, what work do you even have?)

Ruhanika: "Bahaut bolte hai aap, chup kariye aur apne office jaiye."

(You talk too much. Be quiet and go to your office.)

Ruhanika playfully ordered Rudraksh, and with a mischievous smile, she ran into the closet, leaving him chuckling behind her.

In London,

The airhostess gently sprinkled some water on Aakarsh's face, causing him to stir and wake up, his eyes blinking in confusion as he tried to adjust to his surroundings.

Airhostess: "Sir, are you alright?"

Aakarsh: "Yeah."

Aakarsh said with a yawn.

Airhostess: "Sir, we’ve been trying to wake you up for the last five minutes. The flight landed 20 minutes ago, and all the passengers have left."

Aakarsh's eyes widened in shock as he glanced to his side, only to find the seat next to him empty. His heart skipped a beat as he quickly looked around, wondering where Kritika had gone.

Aakarsh: "Whattt????"

He tried to stand up, but the seatbelt was fastened, so he quickly unbuckled it. As he stood up, he scanned the entire flight, his eyes darting from one aisle to the other, searching for any sign of Kritika.

Aakarsh: "Pari kaha gayi??"

(Where’s Pari?)

Airhostess: "What, sir?"

Aakarsh: "The passenger sitting beside me. Where is she?"

Airhostess: "Everyone has left, sir. You’re the only one sleeping."

Aakarsh: "Pehle kyu nahi uthaya yaar, meri pari chali gayi"

(Why didn’t you wake me earlier? My Pari is gone!)

Airhostess: "What sir??"

Aakarsh: "Nothing."

Aakarsh's face fell as he looked up, a hint of sadness in his eyes. He couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed, wondering where Kritika had gone.

Aakarsh: "Kya yaar bhagwan ji, aasman me tha toh barabar sun rahe the, niche aate hi rang dikhane lag gaye aap. Uper signal achcha tha niche aate hi kya ho jaata hai aapko, itna weak network."

(God, what is this? You were perfectly fine listening to me in the sky. But as soon as I landed, you started showing your true colors. Up there, the network was great; down here, what happens to you? Such weak network!)

Airhostess: "Sir, you need to check out."

Aakarsh nodded somberly as he grabbed his bag from the overhead compartment. But then, his eyes landed on something on the armrest of his seat — a note. He picked it up and read it, and a smile slowly spread across his face.

Note:  "You are too stubborn, Mr. Ziddi Doctor, but it was nice meeting you. Hope to never see you again. pagal munda."

(Crazy guy.)

Aakarsh chuckled.

Aakarsh: "Achcha toh aap bhi Punjabi hai Kudiye"

(So, you’re Punjabi too, huh, Girl?)

Aakarsh smiled to himself as he glanced at the seatbelt. His smile widened when he realized that he hadn't actually fastened it while sleeping. It dawned on him that he had been so comfortable and relaxed in his sleep that he hadn’t even noticed, that fasten his seatbealt.

Aakarsh: "Hun taan tainu mere naal milna hi painda meri pari! Aa reha haan main tuhade kol, labh laanga tusi jaoge vi taan kithhe!"

(Now you have to meet me, my Pari! I’m coming for you; even if you hide, I’ll find you!)

With a wide grin on his face, Aakarsh exited the flight, feeling a sense of excitement.

RM mansion,

Rudraksh walked into the house, engaged in a phone conversation, when suddenly his phone slipped from his hand and hit the floor with a soft thud. His eyes widened in shock, and his mouth hung open in disbelief as he tried to process the scene unfolding in front of him.

In the middle of the living room, Ruhanika, Rishwik, and Karanjeet were dancing to an item song, completely unaware of his presence. The sight was so absurd that it left him speechless. Ruhanika, in full Gabbar Singh attire—complete with a bandana, a vest, and an intimidating look—was dancing with a dramatic flair. Rishwik, wearing a samba's costume, was twirling around in an exaggerated fashion. Karanjeet, their grandfather, was dressed in a simple kurta pajama with a shawl draped over his shoulders, looking like Thakur from a vintage Bollywood film, moving rhythmically despite his age. And on the couch, Savisha sat giggling, clearly enjoying the spectacle, her laughter echoing through the room as she watched the chaos unfold.

"are katto gilehri chamak chhalo rani

are katto gilehri chamak chhalo rani

aashik ka aise na tadpao jani

aashik ka aise na tadpao jani

mai katto gilehri chamak chhallo rani

aashik ko aise hi tadpau jani

mai aashik ku aise hi tadpau jani

mai katto gilehri chamak chhalo rani"

Rudraksh stood frozen at the sight before him. Rishwik was standing on the center table, striking dramatic poses, while Ruhanika circled him, her movements playful yet threatening, as though she was ready to dance around him before giving him a good beating. Meanwhile, Karanjeet, in the corner, was dramatically twirling his shawl, acting as though he were the most pitiable, helpless person in the world. And in the midst of it all, Savisha was laughing uncontrollably, her laughter echoing through the room. Rudraksh just stood there, wide-eyed, trying to make sense of the chaotic scene unfolding before him.

"jan ke tu lechkaye kamariya mori gali jab aaye re

are jan ke tu lechkaye kamariya mori gali jab aaye re

are tori niyat ma khot hai ulta hamka dosh lagaye re

are ghash me na khaungi, oho dhokhe me na aaungi

are ghash me na khaungi, oho dhokhe me na aaungi"

Rudraksh blinked in disbelief as Rishwik extended his hand to Ruhanika. Without missing a beat, she gracefully climbed onto the center table, and the two of them began moving their waists and hips in a humorous, exaggerated way, as if they were performing an impromptu dance routine. The absurdity of the situation hit him, but the surprise didn’t end there. Karanjeet, with a mischievous grin, threw his shawl aside and joined the chaos, moving his body with surprising energy alongside his grandchildren.

"are katto gilehri chamak chhalo rani

are katto gilehri chamak chhalo rani

aashik ka aise na tadapao jani

aashik ka aise na tadapao jani"

Rishwik held Ruhanika's hand and twirled her with a playful flourish. Her laughter filled the room as she spun, her grin widening with every twist. She was clearly enjoying the moment, completely lost in the carefree fun.

Rudraksh: "What nonsense is going on here?"

Rudraksh shouted, his voice cutting through the lively chaos, and instantly, everything froze. Rishwik halted mid-dance, Ruhanika paused her steps, and even Karanjeet stood still, his shawl draped across his shoulders. Savisha quickly composed herself and turned off the music, the sudden silence filling the room.

Ruhanika: "Aap aa gaye"

(You’re here!)

Ruhanika grinned, while Rishwik, noticing Rudraksh’s glare, gulped nervously. He quickly jumped down from the center table, hoping to avoid any consequences. Rudraksh, his expression a mix of amusement and mock anger, started walking toward them, his eyes fixed on Rishwik.

Rishwik: "Dadu, yaar aap mujhe apni property se bedakhal kar dena vo main Ashvik bhai ki hadap lunga, par bas aaj is sher se mujhe bacha lo please dadu."

(Grandpa, please disinherit me from your property. I’ll somehow manage to take over Ashvik Bhai’s, but just save me from this lion today.)

Karanjeet: "Tainu bachaan layi pehlan main taan bacha reha!"

(To save you, I must save myself first!)

Rishwik and Karanjeet exchanged a glance, both silently expressing their helplessness at the situation. Savisha, clearly entertained by their discomfort, chuckled softly as she casually continued munching on her fruits. Meanwhile, Rudraksh reached Ruhanika’s side, his gaze firmly locked onto Rishwik.

Rudraksh: "Sudhrega nahi na tu?? Aaj toh main tujhe.."

(You’ll never change, will you? Today I’ll...)

Ruhanika: "itna gussa kyu kar rahe hai aap Samba, thand rakh mundeya"

(Why are you so angry, Samba? Calm down, boy.)

Rudraksh’s eyes widened in surprise as he heard Ruhanika speaking in fluent Punjabi. The unexpected turn left him momentarily speechless. Watching his stunned reaction, Ruhanika couldn’t help but grin, her eyes sparkling with amusement as she continued speaking confidently in Punjabi, clearly enjoying the surprise she had sprung on him.

Ruhanika: "Khotya, ik chittar khavega tan akal apne aap thikane aa javegi! Ye shakal vekh apni, kisi langoor ton ghatt nahi hai khotya, te akal taan pata nahi kithe chhutti manake ayi hai!"

(Idiot, one slap and your brain will get back on track! Look at your face, you’re no less than a monkey. And who knows where your brain is on vacation!)

Rudraksh's eyes widened even more in shock, his disbelief turning into a fierce glare directed at Rishwik, as if he were about to kill him with his gaze.

Ruhanika: "Hun tu taan.."

Rudraksh: "Betuu shhhhh"

Rudraksh remained silent, his anger simmering beneath the surface. He wrapped his arms around Ruhanika's waist and, without a word, lifted her off the table, carefully placing her back on the ground. He looked at her face, his eyes softening for a moment before turning back to Rishwik with a deadly glare. The warning in his gaze was clear. Rudraksh then took out his handkerchief, his hands gentle as he cupped Ruhanika's face. He started wiping away the black ink Rishwik had playfully smeared on her face, giving her an almost comical "Daaku" look.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, Jaana ye punjabi kisne sikhayi??"

(Ruhh, darling, who taught you this Punjabi?)

Ruhanika: "Aapko kaisi lagi?? Aapko pasand aaya humne aapki bhasha me aapki taarif ki??"

(How was it? Did you like it? I was complimenting you in your language!)

Rudraksh gave Ruhanika a confused look, his brows furrowing as he processed her words. Deep down, he had a strong feeling that his brother, Rishwik, had somehow managed to trick her into this playful situation. The mischievous glint in Rishwik's eyes confirmed his suspicion.

Rudraksh: "Betu tum janti ho tumne abhi kya bola??"

(Sweetheart, do you know what you just said?)

Ruhanika: "Jii humne kaha ki aap bahaut sundar hai, kitne manmohak aur hum bahaut Prem karte hai aapse."

(Of course! I said you’re very handsome, mesmerizing, and I love you so much.)

Rudraksh shot an intense glare at Rishwik, his eyes burning with annoyance as he finished wiping the black ink off Ruhanika’s face. His hands lingered for a moment longer on her skin, making sure every trace of the prank was gone. Rishwik shifted uncomfortably, Rudraksh"s eyes now meeting Dadu’s. The old man stood in front of him, his face stern as he took in the scene.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, jaana kisne sikhaya ye??"

(Ruhh, darling, who taught you this?)

Ruhanika: "Dadu ne"

(Grandpa did.)

Rudraksh: "Tusi kado sudharoge? Kyu bigaad rahe ho meri biwi nu?"

(Grandpa, will you ever improve? Why are you spoiling my wife?)

Karanjeet: "Tere naal reh ke vi ki sikh leya ohne? Kam toh kam, tusi dono nu ladwa ke thoda enjoy taan kar lawa!"

(What else could she have learned from being around you? At least I’m enjoying stirring things up a bit between you two!)

Rudraksh: "Hadd hai yaar dadu, Pehli vaar vekheya ehho jeha dadu, jo apne bachiyan de vich jhagde karawan di koshish karda hai! Kamal karte ho, dadu!"

(Unbelievable, Grandpa. You’re the first grandpa I’ve seen who tries to cause fights between his kids. Amazing!)

Karanjeet: "I know I'm unique."

Rudraksh shook his head, letting out a small, frustrated sigh.

Rudraksh: "Aur tu, ye kaise gaane sunata hai Ruhh, kya asar padega uska kabhi socha hai"

(And you! What songs are you making Ruhh listen to? Do you even think about their impact?)

Rishwik: "It's just a song bhai, Angel is too smart "

(It’s just a song, Bhai. Angel is too smart.)

Rudraksh: "Teri too smart Angel raat de 2 baje menu jaga ke kehndi hai, 'Pinky wala geet sunna hai'!"

(Your "too smart" Angel woke me up at 2 a.m. and said, "Play the Pinky song for me!")

Rishwik, Karanjeet, and Savisha couldn't contain their laughter, clearly enjoying the chaos they had caused. Ruhanika, still trying to piece everything together, looked at each of them with confusion written all over her face.

Ruhanika: "Kya humne kuch galat keh diya Akshh??"

(Did I say something wrong, Akshh?)

Rudraksh gently cupped Ruhanika's face in his hands, his touch soft yet protective. His eyes softened as he gazed at her.

Karanjeet: "Chalo ji, sab baith jao, adult scene vekhde haan saare ikathe mil ke!"

(Alright, everyone, sit down. Let’s watch this “adult scene” together!)

Rudraksh shook his head in disappointment, his eyes narrowing as he shot Karanjeet a look that said, "I'm so done with you." He turned his attention back to Ruhanika.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, betu galat sikhaya hai inhone tumhe, ye tum Punjabi me mujhe bura keh rahi thi."

(Ruhh, darling, Grandpa taught you wrong. What you said in Punjabi was actually bad.)

Ruhanika's eyes widened in surprise, but the shock quickly turned into a glare as she placed her hands firmly on her waist, shooting a look of annoyance at Karanjeet.

Ruhanika: "Hay hay Dadu, aap itne buddhe ho gaye hai aur bachcho jaisi harkatein karte hai"

(Oh no, Grandpa, you’re so old and still act like a child!)

Rishwik, Rudraksh, and Savisha couldn't help but chuckle as Ruhanika playfully called Karanjeet "old man."

Karanjeet: "Bas kariye puttar, tu har vaari maine Buddha keh deti hai"

(Enough, dear. You keep calling me old every time!)

Ruhanika: "ab aap hai toh hum kya kare, humare Aksh itne sundar hai aur aapne humse unhe bura kehlaya, hum baat nahi karenge aapse jaiye, thode naraz hai hum aapse."

(Well, you are old. What can I do? My Aksh is so handsome, and you made me call him bad names. I’m a little mad at you.)

Rudraksh: "Mallika-e-Aksh, aap please jaake zara meri biwi ban ke aayi, ye kya huliya banaya hai Ruhh"

(Oh, Queen of Aksh, can you please go and act like my wife for a bit? What is this look you’ve got going on, Ruhh?)

Ruhanika: "Ye bhi Dadu ne kaha tha, vo bole isme mazaa aata hai."

(Grandpa said this is fun.)

Rudraksh: "ye tirth yatra se laut ke aaye ho ya pagal khane se, kya kya sikha rahe ho Ruhh ko??"

(Did you come back from a pilgrimage or an asylum? What are you teaching Ruhh?)

Ruhanika: "buri buri baatein"

(Bad, bad things.)

Rishwik and Savisha were having a blast watching Rudraksh and Ruhanika team up to scold Karanjeet. Karanjeet, looking like a scared child, pouted and tried to defend himself, but his playful expressions only made the scene even more amusing. Ruhanika's heart melted at his innocent, childlike demeanor, and she couldn't help but smile softly.

Ruhanika: "Achcha koi baat nahi Dadu, aap udaas mat hoiye hum nahi hai aapse naraz."

(Okay, never mind. Grandpa, don’t be sad. I’m not really mad at you.)

Karanjeet grinned, his playful energy infectious. Ruhanika couldn't help but chuckle.

Karanjeet: "Chal puttar, chal le mere vaste kuch chatpata toh bana."

(Let’s go, dear. Come and make something spicy for me.)

Ruhanika: "Aaho ji Dadu."

(Yes, Grandpa!)

Rudraksh: "chalo kuch toh sahi sikhaya."

(At least you taught her something right.)

Karanjeet, with a carefree grin, ignored Rudraksh's glare and made his way to the kitchen, pulling Ruhanika along. Ruhanika, still laughing, followed him, shaking her head at the playful chaos. Rudraksh tossed a pillow at Rishwik and chuckled.

Rudraksh: "Sudhar ja pagal."

(Get your act together, crazy man.)

Rishwik: "pehle Angel jo bana rahi hai vo kha leta hu phir sochunga."

(Let me eat what Angel makes first, then I’ll think about it.)

Rishwik, unable to contain his laughter, dashed away, giggling uncontrollably. Rudraksh shook his head. He then sat down beside Savisha, letting out a soft sigh.

Rudraksh: "Bhabhi aap thik hai??"

(Bhabhi, are you okay?)

Savisha blinked her eyes.

Savisha: "Main thik hu Rudraksh bhai, par kya main aapse kuch mang sakti hu??"

(I’m fine, Rudraksh bhai, but can I ask you for something?)

Rudraksh: "Kaisi baatein kar rahi hai bhabhi, sidha hukum kijiye kya chahiye aapko."

(What are you saying, Bhabhi? Just give the order. What do you need?)

Savisha extended her hand toward Rudraksh.

Savisha: "Waada kijiye ki jo mere aur Avya ke sath hua, aap is baat ka khayal rakhenge ki vo aapke aur Ruhi ke sath na ho."

(Promise me that what happened to me and Avya won’t happen to you and Ruhi.)

Rudraksh immediately placed his hand on Savisha's hand.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh ko apni jaan se zyada sambhal ke rakhunga bhabhi, meri zindagi mera pyaar hai vo, use kabhi kuch nahi hone dunga main."

(I’ll protect Ruhi more than my own life, Bhabhi. She’s my world, my love. I won’t ever let anything happen to her.)

Savisha: "Janti hu main, uske aane se pehli baar is ghar me Diwali manegi, sabki zindagi Roshan kar di hai humari Ruhh ne, main chahti hu uske zindagi me andhera karne walo ki narak se bhi battar ho."

(I know. Because of her, for the first time, there will be a Diwali celebration in this house. She’s brightened up everyone’s lives. I want those who dare to darken her life to face something worse than hell.)

Rudraksh: "Meri zindagi me ek hi sukoon hai bhabhi vo hai meri Ruhh, usi ki vajah se phir jeene laga hu main, aur ab un sabki zindagi tabah hogi jisne meri Ruhh ko takleef di hai."

( The only solace in my life is Ruhi, Bhabhi. She’s the reason I’ve started living again. And now, those who dared to hurt my Ruhi will see their lives destroyed.)

Rudraksh said with an evil smirk on his face, his eyes glinting with determination. Savisha smiled proudly, her gaze meeting his with a quiet understanding. She knew exactly what was coming next.

Hola, peeps! Here's today's chapter!

Though I mentioned posting it by 7 PM, I'm sharing it a little early 🤭🤭.

Precap: Dhanteras at Rathore Mansion.

Once again, a humble request: please refrain from using abusive language in the comments section—simple reason, I don't like it.

Also, I'm human too! Spelling mistakes can happen; it’s not necessary to point them out every single time.

Also, someone commented about having a paperback version of "Whispers of Romance." Thank you so much for the suggestion, girl! Unfortunately, I can't make that happen due to various factors 🥲🥲.

However, if anyone is interested, I can consider converting it into a PDF format. Let me know!

Next Update: Tomorrow at 8 PM.
