(MKIB Men's)

Ruhanika was rushing down the stairs with a playful grin, her anklets jingling with each step, while Rudraksh trailed behind her, calling out. His voice carried a mix of amusement and concern. She giggled, glancing back at him with mischief sparkling in her eyes, and continued to hop down, ignoring his pleas.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, betu bhaago nahi"

(Ruhh, betu, stop running!)

Ruhanika: "Haa taaki aap hume ek jagah bitha de na."

(So you can make me sit in one place, right?)

Rudraksh: "Jaanaa yaarrrr"

Ruhanika came bounding down the stairs, her laughter echoing through the house like a melody. She was giggling uncontrollably, her cheeks flushed with excitement. Darting into the living room, she quickly darted behind Ashvik, grabbing onto his arm for cover.

Ashvik: "Teddy"

Ruhanika: "Bhaiyuu dekhiye na ye hume kab se araam hi karne keh rahe hai."

(brother, look at him! He’s been telling me to rest for so long.)

Rudraksh: "Ashvik, samne se hatt, Ruhhh thak jayegi use baithne de."

(Ashvik, move aside. Ruhhh, you’ll get tired; let her sit.)

Ruhanika: "Nahi hum ek jagah baithe baithe hi thak gaye hai."

(No, I’m already tired of sitting in one place!)

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, stop running and exhausting yourself!."

Rudraksh gently pulled Ruhanika towards him from behind Ashvik and made her sit on the couch. Ruhanika, clearly annoyed, pouted as she settled down. From the moment the day had started, she'd been instructed by her husband to sit and relax. According to him, even the slightest movement could exhaust her, especially since she was fasting. She couldn’t stand for long without him worrying about her health deteriorating. Rudraksh, simply shook his head at her antics, his eyes filled with affection.

Ashvik: "Teddy yaha dekh kon aaya hai"

(Teddy, look who’s here!)

Ruhanika glanced over at Ashvik, noticing Akshavi beside him. Her instincts kicked in, and she stood up, but before she could take a step, Rudraksh cleared his throat pointedly. Immediately, Ruhanika sat back down, a little flustered. Rudraksh smirked in triumph, enjoying his playful control over the situation. Ruhanika, now pouting, crossed her arms in mock frustration. The others couldn’t help but laugh at her adorable display, sharing a light moment as they watched her react.

Ruhanika: "Ye didi kon hai bhaiyu???"

(Who is this Sister, Bhaiyuu?)

Akshavi: "Areh areh Ruhiii, mujhe didi mat bolo yaar tumhari bhabhi hu main."

(Oh, Ruhiii, don’t call me sister); I’m your sister-in-law).

Ruhanika turned to Ashvik, a look of confusion crossing her face.

Ashvik: "Yehi Akshavi hai teddy, jiske baare me bataya tha na"

(This is Akshavi, Teddy, the one I told you about.)

Ruhanika: "Shavi bhabhi???"

Ashvik blinked in silent agreement, giving Ruhanika a reassuring look. Still puzzled, Ruhanika turned her gaze towards Akshavi, who smiled warmly at her and waved, sending a wave of positive energy in her direction. The simple gesture made Ruhanika's mood lift, and her dimples appeared as she smiled back. Encouraged by the warmth from Akshavi, Ruhanika stood up once again.

Rudraksh: "Betuu"

Ruhanika: "Chup kariye"

(Quiet!)

Rudraksh’s eyes widened in shock as Ruhanika, with an unexpected boldness, told him to "shut his mouth" right in front of everyone. The rest of the group stared in stunned silence, equally taken aback by her uncharacteristic outburst. Ruhanika, seemingly unfazed by the reactions, moved toward Akshavi with a warm smile. She bent down to touch her feet in a gesture of respect, but Akshavi gently caught her by the shoulders, stopping her before she could fully lower herself.

Akshavi: "ye kya kar rahi ho Ruhi?"

(Ruhii, what are you doing?)

Ruhanika: "Aapke pair chu rahe hai, aap badi hai na humse bhabhi."

(Touching your feet; you’re older than me, right, bhabhi?)

Akshavi smiled warmly and gently cupped her face.

Akshavi: "Par mujhe laga tha ki hum nanad bhabhi toh dost ban ke rahenge."

(But I thought we would stay like friends)

Ruhanika: "Aap humari dost banengi??"

(You want to be my friend?)

Akshavi: "Haan ji bilkul"

(Of course!)

Ruhanika’s face broke into a smile as Akshavi reached out to her for a hug. At first, Ruhanika stiffened, unsure of how to react, but Akshavi’s warmth and kindness soon put her at ease. She hesitated for a moment before tentatively wrapping her arms around Akshavi. The hug was gentle, not forced, and as the seconds passed, Ruhanika felt the tension in her shoulders melt away. She gradually began to relax, her initial awkwardness fading, and when she did, a genuine smile spread across her face. Rudraksh, Rishwik, and Ashvik observed the scene, their smiles reflecting their quiet pride. They knew how much of a step this was for Ruhanika—her journey to overcoming her own insecurities and embracing new connections was something they had all been supporting her through. The sight of her hugging Akshavi, her once-closed-off nature softening, filled them with a sense of warmth and accomplishment. It was a moment of growth for her, and they couldn’t have been more proud.

As the hug came to an end, Ruhanika pulled back, though not abruptly. She still felt that sense of connection lingering. With a soft smile, she took Akshavi’s hand, guiding her over to the couch. Ruhanika settled herself in front of her, a look of gentle confusion crossing her face as she studied both Akshavi and Ashvik. Her eyes flicked between them, trying to piece together the dynamics of the moment. Ashvik chuckled, a light and knowing sound, as he glanced at Rishwik. He knew what was coming next—the questions. Ruhanika had always been curious, and now, in this moment, her mind was racing with thoughts and inquiries.

Ashvik: "Ab kya hua teddy??"

(Now what, Teddy?)

Ruhanika: "Aap aur bhabhi toh humse bade hai na bhaiyuu"

(You and bhabhi are older than me, right, Bhaiyuu?)

Ashvik: "Hmm, toh?"

(Hmm, so?)

Ruhanika: "Toh, bhabhi kya aap bhaiyuu se prem karti hai??"

(So, Bhabhi, do you love Bhaiyuu?)

Akshavi's cheeks flushed a soft shade of red as Ruhanika, with a playful yet direct tone, asked her if she loved Ashvik. The sudden question caught Akshavi off guard, and she shyly lowered her head, her face turning even redder. After a brief pause, she nodded, her response barely a whisper, but the sincerity in her eyes was undeniable.

Ruhanika: "aur bhaiyuu aap?? Aap bhi bhabhi se prem karte hai?? "

(And Bhaiyuu, do you also love Bhabhi?)

Ashvik quickly turned his face, attempting to hide the blush creeping up his cheeks, but after a moment, he nodded, acknowledging Akshavi’s quiet admission. Rudraksh and Rishwik, unable to suppress their amusement, smirked at Ashvik, clearly enjoying the unexpected turn of events. Ruhanika, her hands now placed firmly on her waist, shot a playful yet stern glare at Ashvik.

Ashvik: "What??"

Ruhanika: "Aap jante hai na aap humse bade hai?"

(You know, you're older than us, right?)

Ashvik: "Haa teddy janta hu beta"

(Yes, teddy, I know, kiddo.)

Ruhanika: "Toh hum aapse chote hai phir bhi humara Vivaah ho gaya toh aapne ab tak bhabhi se Vivaah kyu nahi kiya??"

(So, if I’m younger and I’m already married, why haven’t you married bhabhi yet?)

Now, even Akshavi shot a glare at Ashvik, his expression sharp as he silently communicated her disapproval.

Akshavi: "Haa Ruhi, pucho inse, main toh kab se keh rahi hu ki shadi karlo lekin ye hai ki sunte nahi hai"

(Exactly, Ruhii! Ask him! I’ve been telling him to get married for so long, but he never listens!)

Ashvik shot a glare at Akshavi, his eyes filled with frustration, clearly blaming him for instigating Ruhanika against him.

Rishwik: "Angel, ye Akshu na Ashvik bhai ke piche pichle teen saal se hai, batao ab teen saal tak koi kisi ladki ko pareshan karta hai kya??"

(Angel, Ashvik has been troubling Akshavi for three years now. Who troubles someone for three years, right?)

Ruhanika's glare intensified as she fixed Ashvik with a pointed look, clearly not amused by his attempt to hide his feelings. Rishwik, sensing the rising tension, couldn't resist adding fuel to the fire with a teasing remark, further provoking Ashvik. In response, Ashvik, now fully embarrassed, grabbed a nearby pillow and threw it at Rishwik with a playful yet frustrated gesture. Rishwik, ever quick on his feet, effortlessly dodged the pillow, sending it sailing past him and onto the couch.

Ruhanika: "Kitni buri baat hai bhaiyu, aap kyu sata rahe the bhabhi ko??"

(Bhaiyuu, why were you bothering bhabhi?)

Akshavi smiled at Ruhanika, enjoying the playful moment as she reveled in being called "Bhabhi" by her.

Ashvik: "Rudraksh yaar kuch toh bol, kabhi toh apne best friend hone ka dharam nibha."

(Rudraksh, yaar, say something! At least fulfill your duties as my best friend.)

Ruhanika: "Ye konsa dharam hai??"

(What duties are these?)

Rudraksh: "Maine kaha tha Akshu ko teen saal tak ignore karne?? Ab kiya hai toh jhel, main kuch nahi karunga."

(Did I tell him to ignore Akshu for three years? Now that he’s done it, let him deal with it; I’m not getting involved.)

Ashvik: "Kisi kaam ka nahi hai tu nalayak insaan."

(You’re useless, man!)

Ruhanika: "Bhaiyuuuu, humare Aksh ko aise nahi boliye, hum thode se naraz ho jayenge"

(Bhaiyuu, don’t call my Aksh that; I’ll get a little upset.)

Ashvik cursed his fate under his breath, feeling like everything was working against him that day. His sister, Ruhanika, had learned the art of blackmailing him and was now using it to her full advantage. It seemed like she was enjoying every moment of it, and he couldn't escape her playful yet relentless teasing.

Ashvik: "Achcha baba I'm sorry nahi bolunga tere Aksh ko kuch. "

(Okay, okay, I’m sorry. I won’t say anything to your Akshu.)

Ruhanika grinned , clearly enjoying the moment. Akshavi gently took her hand in her and murmured.

Akshavi: "Ruhii, shadi shadi ka bhi toh pucho."

(Ruhii, ask him about the wedding too.)

Ruhanika: "Ji bhabhi."

(Okay, bhabhi.)

Ruhanika turned to Ashvik once more, her eyes filled with hope.

Ruhanika: "Aur bhaiyu aap bhabhi se Vivaah kab karenge??"

(Bhaiyuu, when will you marry bhabhi?)

Ashvik: "Vo bhi jaldi hi karunga beta."

(Soon, my dear!)

Akshavi, quickly jumped beside him and gently took his hand in hers. Her cheeks flushed a deeper shade as she lowered her head shyly, her fingers delicately tracing the contours of his biceps.

Akshavi: "Kab?? Kab shadi karenge mujhse aap Sugarpieeeee."

(When? When will you marry me, Sugarpieeee?)

Akshavi asked shyly, her voice soft, while Ashvik shook his head in exasperation at her dramatic behavior, unable to suppress a small smile despite himself.

Ashvik: "aapke papa se milne ke baad."

(After meeting your father.)

Akshavi rolled her eyes in frustration, feeling exasperated. She wanted nothing more than to run away with him, yet he was still stuck on seeking permission, which only added to her impatience.

Ruhanika: "Kitna mazaa aayega na bhaiyu ke Vivaah me."

(It’ll be so much fun at Bhaiyuu’s wedding, right?)

Ruhanika said excitedly, her voice filled with enthusiasm, and everyone quickly agreed, sharing in her excitement.

Rudraksh: "Haa aur ab tum chup Karo yaar, exhaust nahi karo khud ko"

(Yes, and now you be quiet. Don’t tire yourself out.)

Ruhanika facepalmed in frustration at Rudraksh's constant concern, clearly overwhelmed by his overprotectiveness.

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi kya aapne bhi karwachauth ka vrat rakha hai??"

(Bhabhi, have you kept a Karwa Chauth fast too?)

Akshavi: "Haa Ruhii, maine bhi mere praanath ke liye vrat rakha hai."

(Yes, Ruhii, I’ve kept a fast for my beloved husband-to-be.)

Akshavi dramatically motioned as if to touch Ashvik's feet, her actions exaggerated for effect. Ashvik, not amused, swiftly grabbed her hand and shot her a glare.

Ashvik: "Abhi tumhe vapas fek aaunga."

(I’ll send you back right now!)

Akshavi: "Ruhii dekh rhi ho apni hone wali biwi se kaise baat karte hai ye?"

(Ruhii, see how your brother talk to me?)

Ruhanika: "Buri baat hai bhaiyu aap aise kyu keh rahe hai, inhe dekhiye ye toh humse kabhi aisa nahi kehte... Aap sikhiye inse."

(That’s not nice, Bhaiyuu. Why are you saying that? Look at him; he never says such things to me. You should learn from him!)

Ashvik made faces at both Akshavi and Rudraksh. Rudraksh, however, simply smirked

Rishwik: "Ashvik bhai main toh nahi sehta."

(Ashvik Bhai, I couldn’t tolerate this.)

Ashvik: "Toh nikal ja yaha se."

(Then leave!)

Rishwik: "Beizzati meri thodi huyi hai, vo toh aapki huyi hai... Aap nikalo, aapke pass toh aapka bunglow bhi hai."

(The insult wasn’t mine; it was yours. You leave—after all, you have your bungalow.)

Ashvik: "Teri suii phir mere bunglow pe aayi"

(Why does your needle always point to my bungalow?)

Rishwik: "Haa toh dedo na, nahi aayegi phir."

(Well, give it to me, and it won’t anymore.)

Akshavi tossed another pillow at Rishwik's face, and he couldn't dodge it in time, completely caught off guard by the sudden attack.

Akshavi: "Mere bachcho ki property pe nazar mat daal tu"

(Don’t you dare set your eyes on my children’s property!)

Ruhanika glanced at Akshavi, her expression filled with confusion.

Ruhanika: "Konse bachche bhabhi??"

(What children, bhabhi?)

Rudraksh: "Kuch nahi betu, ye sab chodo dekho kuch der me shaam ho jayegi chalo mere sath aao kuch kaam hai."

(Nothing dear, see it's going to be Evening soon, come with me inhave something)

Ruhanika gave a satisfied nod before walking off with Rudraksh, leaving the others to their playful bickering. Meanwhile, Rishwik and Akshavi had started a comical argument over who would get Ashvik’s bungalow, each of them making exaggerated claims and gestures about how they’d be the better choice. Ashvik, now thoroughly fed up with the chaos around him, rolled his eyes in exasperation. He could only shake his head at their antics. Without a second thought, he turned and walked out.

The evening at RM mansion was a sight to behold, with the home glowing in a simple yet elegant display of decorations. The soft twinkle of fairy lights and traditional adornments gave the entire house a warm, festive feel. It was Ruhanika's first festival, and everyone wanted to make sure it was special for her, making the atmosphere even more joyous.

The men, too, were dressed in their finest traditional attire, each one looking dashing in their own way. Rishwik, ever the confident one, was dressed in a subtle pastel yellow kurta with matching salwar. While he wasn’t observing the fast—citing that he was still single and therefore exempt—he claimed it was his "birthright" to look good and get dressed up for the occasion. He even convinced Amandeep to wear a green kurta-pajama, making sure everyone was on the same page for the festivities.

Ashvik, with his charming grin, wore a maroonish-red kurta paired with a white salwar, exuding elegance. Kartavya opted for a golden Punjabi kurta with salwar, a regal look that made him stand out in the crowd. And then there was Rudraksh—dressed in a red Punjabi kurta with salwar, a choice carefully selected by Ruhanika herself. The deep red color complemented his features, making him look even more striking.

Each of the men had their beards meticulously trimmed, their hair gelled neatly into place, and rich watches adorning their wrists. Their shoes were polished to perfection, reflecting the attention to detail that made them look not only handsome but refined. The collective sight of them was a perfect blend of tradition, style, and undeniable charm.

All the men were gathered in the living room, patiently waiting for their ladies. Even Kritika, in a simple yet elegant suit, was sitting with them, chatting casually. The room was filled with light conversations and laughter when suddenly, the soft tinkling of anklets caught Rudraksh’s attention. He recognized the sound immediately—it was his wife’s, and it sent a wave of nostalgia and warmth through him. He turned his head toward the stairs, his breath catching in his throat, and his heart skipped a beat as he saw her descending.

Meanwhile, Kartavya’s senses were equally alert. As the familiar fragrance of his Mahiye filled the air, he instinctively looked up at the stairs, his eyes searching for her. And then, Ashvik, who had been lost in his thoughts, was suddenly jolted by the sound of Akshavi’s giggles. He looked up, his gaze drawn to the stairs as the sound of her laughter reached his ears. The atmosphere in the room shifted, everyone captivated by the arrival of the women who had so effortlessly captured their attention.

As the ladies descended the stairs, the atmosphere in RM mansion seemed to pause for a moment. Akshavi, in her maroon lehenga, added a beautiful Rajasthani touch to the evening, with every accessory perfectly placed. The intricate design and her confident presence were enough to make Ashvik's heart skip a beat. He couldn't take his eyes off her, clearly in awe of her beauty.

Savisha was equally stunning in a golden Punjabi suit, her red dupatta flowing gracefully as she walked. She wore matching accessories that complemented her attire perfectly, subtly twinning with Kartavya. The couple looked radiant together, a picture of harmony and elegance.

But it was Ruhanika who captured Rudraksh's attention next. Rudraksh's gaze was fixed on her as she shyly smiled, feeling the weight of his admiration. She was wearing a vibrant red Punjabi suit, simple yet breathtaking. The nuptial chain adorning her neck, the delicate chain hanging from her wrist, the big jhumkas in her ears, and the bangles on her hands—all of it came together to create an aura of understated beauty. Her anklets jingled softly as she moved, adding a delicate touch to her presence. Her hair was neatly braided into a French braid, with a paranda woven through it, and a bindi placed perfectly between her eyebrows with red vermillion in her hairline. A subtle touch of lipstick and Kohl accentuated her natural beauty, giving her a soft yet captivating look.

The men, already enchanted by their wives, could hardly tear their eyes away. The love and admiration in their gazes were evident. Even Rishwik, Amandeep, and Kritika, who had been observing the scene, couldn't help but be swept away by the charm of the moment. They playfully began singing a tune, teasing the men, who were momentarily pulled out of their world of admiration.

Rishi, Kritika, Amandeep: "Mere Veer Ne Mere Veer Ne Viyahke Leyandi...

Ni Bhabhi Meri Hoor Wargi...

Mere Veer Ne Mere Veer Ne Viyahke Leyandi...

Ni Bhabhi Meri Hoor Wargi... "

Ruhanika and Akshavi both smiled warmly, their faces glowing with joy, while Savisha let out a soft chuckle at the playful energy in the room. They made their way down the stairs, each step bringing them closer to their men. As they reached the bottom, they stood in front of them, a sense of connection and love hanging in the air. Ashvik, unable to resist the urge to be protective, gently rotated his hand around Akshavi, making a gesture to ward off the evil eye. He then playfully tapped her forehead, his actions filled with affection and care. Akshavi, clearly flustered, chuckled and blushed, her heart fluttering at the sweet gesture.

Ashvik: "Koi itna khoobsurat kaise ho sakta hai??"

(How can someone be so beautiful?)

Akshavi: "Hai na, Main bhi Roz khud ko dekh ke yahi sochti hu."

(Right? I think the same thing when I look at myself every day!)

Both chuckled.

Kartavya playfully rotated his hand around Savisha before cracking his fingers on her forehead.

Savisha: "Kaise lag rahi hu??"

Kartavya: "Bilkul chaand di vargi Maahiye, aap taan hamesha hi pyari lagdi hai! Kehde Maahiye, je tu chahve taan apne style ch dassa?"

(Just like the moon, Maahiye (beloved)! You always look beautiful. Should I tell you in my style?)

Savisha: "Tussi kinne besharam ho, jado vekho bas flirt hi karde ho!"

(You’re so shameless, always flirting!)

Kartavya chuckled softly, his eyes sparkling with amusement, before pulling Savisha into a warm hug.

Rudraksh was still lost in admiration, his gaze completely fixated on Ruhanika, captivated by her beauty. His eyes were locked on her, and he seemed oblivious to everything around him, as if he were in a world of his own. However, Ruhanika soon noticed his silence and frowned, a little pout forming on her lips. She crossed her arms, clearly unimpressed that he hadn’t offered her a single compliment despite his obvious admiration. With a playful sigh, she poked his biceps, snapping him out of his daze. Rudraksh blinked and blinked again, finally coming back to reality, looking a little sheepish as he realized he’d been caught staring.

Ruhanika: "Hum achche nahi lag rahe kya??"

(Don’t I look good?)

Rudraksh smiled gently as he softly brushed away a strand of kohle from her eyes, carefully tucking it behind her ear with a tender touch.

Rudraksh: "Tuhade ton changa na taan mainu pehlan koyi lagya hai, te na hi kadey laggu!"

(No one has ever looked better to me than you, and no one ever will.)

Ruhanika: "Dusri bhasha me keh rahe hai ki hum achche nahi lag rahe??"

(In other language, am i not looking pretty)

Rudraksh chuckled softly, his eyes filled with affection as he cupped her face, tenderly caressing her cheeks with his thumb.

Rudraksh: "Tum bahaut pyaari lag rahi ho Sohneyo, sab toh Sona."

(No one has ever looked better to me than you, and no one ever will.)

Ruhanika: "Sachchi??"

(Really?)

Rudraksh: "Muchchi."

(Promise!)

Ruhanika grinned. Rudraksh reached out and gently poked her dimples, making her smile even wider. The moment was sweet and intimate, and he leaned in to kiss her forehead, his affection for her radiating through every movement. However, just as he was about to place the kiss, a throat-clearing sound interrupted them. Rudraksh immediately froze, his eyes snapping shut in embarrassment as he pulled back slightly, aware that the others were watching.

Rishwik: "Bhai yaar kamre me jaane ka intezar toh kar lo, itni kya jaldi"

(Bro, at least wait until you’re in your room. Why the hurry?)

Ashvik: "Meri behen hai vo, atleast mere samne toh.. and stay away choti hai abhi vo."

(She’s my sister! At least behave in front of me—and stay away; she’s still young.)

Rudraksh shot a sharp glare at both Ashvik and Rishwik, his expression one of clear frustration and disapproval.

Karanjeet: "Chup kar khotyon, biwi hai usdi, jo marzi kare. Kar puttar karde, assi vi thoda scene vekh laiye!"

(Shut up, you fool! She’s his wife; they can do what they want. Go ahead, son; let’s see some action too!)

(Author: Dadu being Shameless 😂)

Everyone chuckled at the scene, while Rudraksh tenderly cupped Ruhanika's face, planting a soft kiss on her forehead, his gesture full of affection.

Rudraksh: "Eh kar reha si, te dadu, tusi vi thodi sharam karo!"

(I was just doing this, Dadu. You should have some shame too!)

All: "Oooohhooo"

As the teasing grew louder, the group erupted into playful hoots, making it clear that they were enjoying the moment. Ruhanika, though not fully understanding the Punjabi remarks, could easily sense that they were teasing her and Rudraksh. Feeling a wave of shyness, she immediately wrapped her arms around Rudraksh and hid her face in his chest, seeking refuge from the teasing eyes of the others. Her sudden gesture only made the others chuckle more, their laughter filled with warmth and affection for the couple. Rudraksh, clearly amused by her shy nature, wrapped his arms around her in return, gently rubbing her back to comfort her.

Rudraksh: "Kar ditta betu nu uncomfortable, pagal ne sare, jaana relax kar!"

(You’ve made betu uncomfortable, you idiots. Go relax, Ruhh!)

Ruhanika looked at Rudraksh, her lips forming a pout as frustration flickered in her eyes, clearly irritated by the situation.

Rudraksh: "Ki Hoya??"

(What happened?)

Ruhanika: "Jab aap jante hai ki hume aapki bhasha samajh nahi aati, toh kyu bolte hai??"

(If you know I don’t understand your language, why do you speak it?)

Rudraksh smiled playfully and, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, held his ears in a gesture of mock apology.

Rudraksh: "Achcha naraz nahi hona tum Ruhh, I am sorry betu."

(Okay, don’t get mad, Ruhh. I’m sorry, betu.)

Ruhanika smiled and nodded, clearly amused. Karanjeet stared at him in shock, his mouth agape in disbelief. Amandeep, noticing his reaction, pressed his chin and gently shut his mouth, trying to regain composure.

Amandeep: "Dadu aadat daal lijiye, Ruhii ke aane ke baad aapka pota badal gaya hai."

(Dadu, you should get used to it. After Ruhii’s arrival, your grandson has completely changed.)

Karanjeet: "Isde muh ton sorry suna main, bharosa karna tan bilkul namumkin hai!"

(Hearing him apologize feels almost unbelievable!)

Amandeep: "I know Dadu Par ki kar sakde haan, Ruhii da asar taan kuch alag hi hai!"

(I know, Dadu, but what can we do? Ruhii’s influence is something else!)

Karanjeet: "Laga nahi si, eh pyaar itna pagal kar dega is khotya nu."

(I know, Dadu, but what can we do? Ruhii’s influence is something else!)

Amandeep and Karanjeet both chuckled, sharing a moment of amusement at the situation.

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa, bhai sa, bhaiyuuuu"

Everyone turned their gaze to Ruhanika, who was already grinning.

Savisha: "Haa Ruhii bachcha"

(Yes, Ruhii, dear?)

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa ye Inka kurta humne pasand kiya hai, dekhiye ye kitne sundar lag rahe hai na, ye kitna jach raha hai na inpe."

(Bhabhi, I picked this kurta for him. Look how handsome he looks! Doesn’t it suit him perfectly?)

Ruhanika, with a playful smile, began openly complimenting Rudraksh, her words filled with affection and admiration. Her praises were warm and sincere, but they had an immediate effect on him. As she spoke, Rudraksh felt a wave of warmth spread across his face. His neck flushed a shade of red, and he could feel the heat rush to his cheeks, making it difficult for him to maintain his usual calm and composed demeanor.

Kartavya: "Haa little sunshine bahaut achcha lag raha hai"

(Yes, little sunshine, he looks amazing.)

Ruhanika grinned. She subtly gestured for Rudraksh to bend down slightly, and without hesitation, he leaned down until their heights were level. As he did, she leaned in close, her lips just above his ear, and whispered something only he could hear.

Ruhanika: "aap na itne Sundar lag rahe hai ki hume bahaut zor se prem aa raha hai aap pe."

(You look so beautiful that I am falling madly in love with you.)

Rudraksh couldn't help but smile, caught between a mix of emotions. Her whisper had left him both flustered and amused, and he found himself momentarily unsure whether to blush at her boldness or chuckle at her sheer cuteness. After a brief moment of internal debate, he decided to tease her instead.

Rudraksh: "Achcha toh tum kya karogi ab Ruhh?"

(Oh really? So what will you do now, Ruhh?)

Ruhanika: "Vrat khatm ho jayega toh aapko kiss karenge, humari date wali kiss baki hai na."

(Once my fast is over, I’ll kiss you. Our date kiss is still pending, right?)

Rudraksh looked at her with a fond smile before letting out a soft chuckle, clearly amused by her infectious grin.

Ruhanika: "Has kyu rahe hai?? Nahi karenge kya??"

(Why are you laughing? Don’t you want to?)

Rudraksh: "Tum kaho toh abhi kar du??"

(Should I do it now if you say so?)

Ruhanika: "Hayy hayy, kaisi baatein kar rahe hai, humara vrat hai abhi."

(Oh no, what are you saying? I’m fasting right now.)

Rudraksh: "Nahi rehta toh karne deti abhi??"

(If you weren’t fasting, you’d let me kiss you now?)

Ruhanika: "Haa par yaha toh sab hai na achcha nahi lagta, kamre me karte na hum."

(Yes, but not here; there are people around. It wouldn’t look good. We could have done it in the room.)

Rudraksh suddenly burst into laughter, wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug. This left Ruhanika and the others standing there, confused and unsure of what had just triggered his unexpected outburst.

Ruhanika: "Hass kyu rahe hai aap, humne kuch galat kaha kya??"

( Why are you laughing? Did I say something wrong?)

Rudraksh: "Tum kaha kuch galat bol sakti ho meri yellow."

(How could you say anything wrong, my Yellow?)

Ruhanika's mind raced as she remembered the meaning of yellow, and a blush spread across her cheeks, accompanied by a soft smile. The playful tease had caught her off guard, and she couldn't help but feel a little shy. Rudraksh, noticing her reaction, couldn’t resist poking her dimples again, making her smile even wider.

However, the others, eager to bring attention back to the group, cleared their throats dramatically, reminding the couple that they weren’t alone. Rudraksh, still holding Ruhanika, glanced at the others and chuckled, realizing he had been a bit too absorbed in the moment. He reluctantly pulled back from the hug, his cheeks tinged with a bit of embarrassment.

Ruhanika's cheeks remained red, and she looked down, trying to hide her flustered state. Rudraksh rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment, his usual calm composure completely undone. The group burst into laughter, admiring the cute, tender moment between the couple.

Rishwik: "Bhaii chaliye ab Angel ko uska gift dikha dete hai"

(Bro, let’s show Angel her gift now.)

Ruhanika: "Aap tohfa laaye hai humare liye??."

(Did you bring me a gift?)

Rudraksh: "Haa, aao dikhata hu aur aap sab bhi aaiye."

(Yes, come, I’ll show you. And everyone else, come along too.)

As Rudraksh moved a little, Rishwik quickly reached out, grabbing his hand to stop him.

Rudraksh: "What??"

Rishwik: "Kuch nahi aata hai aapko, hatoo yaha se, Angel ko surprise main dunga"

(You’re so clueless. Move aside; I’ll give Angel the surprise.)

Rishwik, in a playful move, suddenly pushed Rudraksh aside, surprising everyone. With a mischievous grin, he placed his hand over Ruhanika's eyes, causing her to giggle in confusion, leading her toward a room. Ruhanika, now intrigued and slightly bewildered, allowed him to guide her, her curiosity piqued. Rudraksh, rolling his eyes at his younger brother’s antics, couldn’t help but chuckle.  The others followed, all smiling at the lighthearted exchange.

Rishwik: "Kriti di, door khol do na"

(Kriti Di, please open the door.)

Kritika opened the door, and everyone smiled knowingly. They all were aware of the surprise inside, and it was clear that it was meant just for Ruhanika, adding an element of excitement to the moment.

Rudraksh: "chal an ab yahi khada rahega kya"

(Are you going to stand there forever?)

Rishwik: "Kar raha hu na"

(I’m doing it, bro!)

Rishwik slowly withdrew his hand from Ruhanika's eyes, stepping back with a satisfied grin, as if he had orchestrated something grand. As the door clicked open, Rudraksh moved behind Ruhanika and placed his hands gently on her shoulders, guiding her to look at what awaited inside. Rudraksh leaned in close to her ear.

Rudraksh: "Pasand aaya??"

(Do you like it?)

Ruhanika looked up at him, her brow furrowed in confusion.

Ruhanika: "Par aapne toh kaha tha ki ye is ghar me nahi aayenge toh phir, aur mante bhi nahi hai"

(But you said this wouldn’t come into this house, and you don’t even approve of it.)

Rudraksh: "Inhe toh aaj bhi nahi manta hu main, par tumhari Khushi vo zyada mayne rakhti hai mere liye Ruhh, toh ye tumhare Karwachauth ka tohfa"

(I still don’t approve of it, but your happiness matters more to me, Ruhh. So, this is my gift for your Karwa Chauth.)

Ruhanika felt a wave of emotion wash over her and, without a word, hugged Rudraksh tightly, burying her face in his chest as she sought comfort in his warmth.

Ruhanika: "Aap bahaut achche hai, humari saari baatein maan lete hai, aap aise kyu hai??"

(You’re so good. You agree to everything I say. Why are you like this?)

Rudraksh chuckled softly, his hands gently rubbing her back in a soothing gesture.

Rudraksh: "Ab jaisa bhi hu tumhara hi hu."

(However I am, I’m yours.)

Ruhanika looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with warmth as she smiled.

Ruhanika: "Haa sirf aur sirf humare, kisi aur ke nahi"

(Yes, only and only mine.)

The last line she said while glancing at Karanjeet, who couldn’t help but chuckle at her playful tone, clearly amused by the moment.

Karanjeet: "Ahoo kudiye ye tera hi hai, nahi laaunga kisi ladki ko. "

(Oh, dear, he’s all yours; I won’t bring another girl here.)

They all chuckled at her possessiveness, finding it endearing and amusing as she playfully expressed her protective side.

Ruhanika: "Aap humare sath is mandir me Puja karenge??"

(Will you pray with me in this temple?)

Yes, Rudraksh had built a small temple in the house, just as Ruhanika had wanted. However, in his own way, he had turned an entire room into a temple room, ensuring that he wouldn't have to see it every day, while still honoring her wishes.

Rudraksh: "Nahi jaana, bas ye mat mangna mujhse betu please"

(I don’t want to go. Please don’t ask me for this, Betu.)

Ruhanika simply smiled and blinked her eyes

Ruhanika: "Jis kaam me aapko takleef ho, vo kaam nahi bolenge hum"

(If it troubles you, I won’t ask you to do it.)

Savisha: "Aao Ruhii tum main aur Akshavi karte hai Puja, phir vrat todenge."

(Come, Ruhii. You, me, and Akshavi will perform the prayers, and then we’ll break our fast.)

After completing their puja and rituals, Savisha, Akshavi, and Ruhanika felt a sense of peace and fulfillment. Savisha had patiently guided them through everything, making sure each step was clear and meaningful, helping them bond more deeply with the traditions. The warmth of the moment wrapped around them like a comforting embrace.

Once the rituals were done, the group headed towards the terrace to break their fast. Rudraksh couldn't help but feel a slight twinge of worry as he glanced at Ruhanika. It was the first time she was going to the terrace for such a celebration, and he feared she might feel uneasy or overwhelmed. But to his relief, she seemed completely at ease, walking beside him with a smile, her eyes bright with curiosity and wonder. He felt a weight lift from his chest as he realized that, contrary to his concern, she was not scared at all. In fact, she was more engaged than ever, taking in every moment with genuine enjoyment.

As they stood together on the terrace, Ruhanika couldn't resist showing off the dark mehendi designs on her hands, something she had been particularly proud of. She raised her hands to him, her eyes sparkling as she stated  how dark the mehendi is? It’s because Rudraksh loves her so much, right?" Each time she said this, Rudraksh would smile warmly, his heart swelling with love. He kissed her hands gently, agreeing with her, not just with words, but with the affection that radiated in every touch.

As everyone reached the terrace, the night sky stretched out above them, but the moon was nowhere to be seen. The ladies all pouted in disappointment, except for Ruhanika. She stood still, her gaze directed towards the vast expanse of the sky, her eyes filled with wonder as she admired the stars and the serene quietness of the night. There was a peaceful aura about her, a calmness that radiated, unlike the others who were distracted by the absence of the moon.

Kartavya and Savisha found a swing tucked away in a cozy corner of the terrace. They sat together, clearly lost in each other’s company, exchanging sweet words and stolen glances, their love evident in every shared smile. Their closeness added to the romantic ambiance of the evening, with the gentle creak of the swing matching the rhythm of their quiet, intimate conversation.

Near the railing, Akshavi and Ashvik stood side by side. Akshavi, as usual, couldn't resist teasing Ashvik, her playful flirting a constant source of amusement for the others. Ashvik, on the other hand, was enjoying her attention, chuckling at her remarks, but never letting go of the light teasing banter that they shared. They were a perfect balance of fun and flirtation, adding a bit of liveliness to the evening.

Rudraksh and Ruhanika were seated in the shaded area of the terrace, away from the others, where a couple of chairs were placed for them to relax. Rudraksh sat close to Ruhanika, his protective instincts fully activated. He was determined that she would not stand for too long or exhaust herself, especially with the way her energy was still being managed with care due to her recent adjustment to everything. He glanced at her occasionally, ensuring she was comfortable, and his gaze never strayed far from her, his concern a subtle but constant presence.

Meanwhile, Rishwik, Amandeep, and Karanjeet were seated in another corner of the terrace. They were deep in their own conversation, sharing lighthearted comments and occasionally laughing at something someone had said, but the vibe was more relaxed and laid-back compared to the rest of the group.

Rishwik: "Yaar Daduu, ye bahaut lonely feel nahi ho raha hai?"

(Grandpa, doesn’t this feel too lonely?)

Amandeep: "Inhe kya lonely feel hoga, ye toh jee liye apni jawani"

(What’s lonely for him? He has already lived his youth.)

Karanjeet playfully slapped Amandeep on the back.

Karanjeet: "Khotyaa, buddha bolta hai mainu?"

( Are you calling me old, boy?)

Amandeep: "Bolna kya hai aap ho, kyu Rishi??"

(What else is there to say? You are old, right, Rishi?)

Rishwik: "Dil pe pattar rakh ke bol raha hu Dadu, par haa budde toh ho gaye ho."

(Grandpa, with a heavy heart, I must agree—you are old.)

Karanjeet slapped both of them on their backs with a hearty laugh.

Karanjeet: "Ik ik nu property ton bedakhal kar dunga, fer saare theek ho jaoge!"

(I’ll disinherit each of you from my property, and you’ll all fall in line!)

Rishwik: "Rehn de Dadu, mera vadda veer The Rudraksh Malhotra hai, ameeran da badshah!"

(Relax, Grandpa. My big brother, The Rudraksh Malhotra, is the king of the rich!)

Amandeep: "Te main taan Savi bhabhi nu emotionally blackmail karke saara kuch apne naam karwa lavaanga!"

(And I’ll emotionally manipulate Savi Bhabhi and get everything in my name!)

Karanjeet shook his head, chuckling at their stupid comments, clearly amused by their antics but also a bit exasperated by their silliness.

Karanjeet: "Rab dushman nu vi tuhade vargi aulaad na deve!"

(May God never give anyone children like you, not even an enemy!)

Rishwik: "Haan ji, kyunki hum ta eh laute te unique piece ne!"

(Of course, because we’re one of a kind, unique pieces!)

Both Rishwik and Amandeep high-fived each other, grinning at their own antics, while Karanjeet shook his head in amusement at their behavior. Meanwhile, Ruhanika rested her head on Rudraksh's shoulder, and he lovingly held her hand, his gentle touch offering her comfort amidst the playful chaos around them.

Rudraksh: "Kya soch rhi hu Sohneyo?"

(What are you thinking about, my dear?)

Ruhanika: "Yahi ki hum itne bhagyashali kaise ho gaye??"

(I’m just wondering how I got so lucky.)

Rudraksh: "Matlab??"

( What do you mean?)

Ruhanika: "Matlab hume aap mile hai, maano jaise Shiv ji ne swayam avtaar liya aur humare pass aa gaye."

(I mean, I got you. It’s like Lord Shiva himself came to me in person.)

Rudraksh: "Phir toh bhagyashali main hua na??"

(Then I must be the lucky one, right?)

Ruhanika: "Kaise??"

(How?)

Ruhanika looked up at Rudraksh, her eyes meeting his, and he tenderly caressed her face, his touch soft and full of affection.

Rudraksh: "itni pyaari si Ruhh jo mili hai mujhe."

(Because I got someone as precious as you, Ruhh.)

Ruhanika smiled widely, her face lighting up with joy and warmth as she felt the love and care in Rudraksh's touch.

Ruhanika: "Aap jante hai aaj na hum dusri baar itne zyada khush hai, matlab aapke sath toh hum har waqt khush rehte hai, par aaj thode se zyada hai.

(Do you know today I feel extra happy for the second time? I mean, I’m always happy with you, but today it’s more than usual.)

Rudraksh: "Achcha ji, aur ye dusri baar Matlab?? Pehli baar kab thi??"

(Really? And what do you mean by the second time? When was the first?)

Ruhanika: "Jis din aapne humse Vivaah kiya tha."

(The day you married me.)

Ruhanika said with an adoring smile, her eyes full of affection, but Rudraksh's smile quickly vanished as the memory of that day resurfaced. He lowered his head, the weight of the past momentarily clouding his expression.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, betu us din maine zabardasti shaadi ki thi tumse."

(Ruhh, Betu, I forced you into that marriage.)

Ruhanika sensed the guilt in his voice and gently cupped his face, her touch soothing as she looked into his eyes.

Ruhanika: "Aur nahi karte toh shayad aaj hum yaha nahi hote na??"

(And if you hadn’t, maybe I wouldn’t be here today, right?)

Rudraksh nodded like a child in front of her, his demeanor softened by her comforting presence.

Ruhanika: "Toh kyu soch rahe hai aisa?? Humare aur aapke Vivaah ka din humare liye bahaut khaas hai, us aise zabardasti ka naam mat dijiye."

(So why think like that? The day of our marriage is very special to me; don’t call it a forced thing.)

Rudraksh smiled softly, his heart swelling with affection as he thought about Ruhanika's words. He nodded in agreement, still in awe of how effortlessly she had managed to turn his guilt into something so beautiful and comforting. He couldn't believe it took her less than two minutes to change his perspective and make him feel better. Her kindness and understanding always left him speechless. Before they could continue their conversation, Akshavi's loud shout echoed through the room, cutting through the moment.

Akshavi: "Chaand aa gaya, Chand aa gaya"

(The moon is out! The moon is out!)

Everyone looked up at the sky, their faces lighting up with excitement. They all stood up and gathered in the center, each holding their Aarti ki thali, ready to perform the rituals with devotion and joy.

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa, ab kaise karna hai??"

(Sister-in-law, how do we do it now?)

Savisha: "maine bataya tha beta bilkul vaise aur nahi samajh aaye toh vaise vaise karna jaise jaise main kar rahi hu. Akshu tum bhi ha"

(Just as I explained to you, dear. If you’re unsure, do it the way I’m doing it. Akshu, you too.)

Akshavi: "Jii bhabhi"

(Yes, Sister-in-law.)

Ruhanika nodded along, her expression serene as she watched Savisha begin the rituals. Akshavi, ever eager, joined in, and both of them started copying Savisha’s movements.  Ruhanika took the kumkum in her fingers with care, her focus unwavering as she prepared for the next step. Rudraksh, standing before her, bent his head slightly, placing his hand at the back of his head in a relaxed, almost casual way. His gaze softened as he watched her, completely in tune with the moment. Ruhanika, with a gentle smile, applied the Tilak on his forehead.  With a playful yet reverent gesture, Ruhanika then began performing Rudraksh's Aarti, circling the diya around him as the soft glow from the flame illuminated their faces.

Ruhanika: "Ise pakadiye Zara"

(Please hold this for me.)

Rudraksh gently took the Aarti ki thali from Ruhanika, his fingers brushing against hers for a brief moment, and then he watched as she gazed at the moon through the strainer, her eyes reflecting the soft glow of the evening. As she looked back at him, their gazes met, and a silent understanding passed between them. A smile tugged at the corners of both their lips, the shared moment of connection making everything else feel distant.

Ruhanika, feeling the warmth of the moment, carefully took the thali back from him, her hands steady and graceful. She then bent down, intending to touch his feet in respect, but before she could, Rudraksh swiftly placed his hands on her shoulders, gently stopping her. His touch was firm yet tender, and he pulled her up slightly, ensuring she remained close.

Ruhanika: "Arehh hume rasam kyu nahi karne de rahe aap??"

(Hey, why aren’t you letting me complete the ritual?)

Rudraksh: "Kyuki sar ke taaj ko pairon me jhukne ka haq nahi hota."

(Because a crown shouldn’t bow down to anyone’s feet.)

Ruhanika looked at him in confusion, not expecting his gesture. Rudraksh smiled softly and, with a warm look in his eyes, bent down to touch her feet, placing his hand on his forehead to seek her blessings. However, Ruhanika, surprised by the act, instinctively moved back, unsure of how to respond.

Ruhanika: "Areh ye kya kar rahe hai aap Aksh, ye hume karna tha"

(What are you doing, Akshavi? I was supposed to do that!)

Rudraksh: "Tum karo main karu baat toh ek hi hai na Jaana"

( Whether you do it or I do, it’s all the same, isn’t it, Jaana?)

Ruhanika: "Arehhh par aise na..."

(But not like this…)

Rudraksh: "Shhhh, meri zindagi ki blessing kabhi mere pair nahi chuyegi."

(Shhh, the blessing of my life will never touch my feet.)

Ruhanika felt a surge of emotion at his words, her heart swelling as no one had ever truly considered her a blessing before. His gesture touched her deeply, making her realize how special and cherished she was in his eyes.

Rudraksh: "Aao ab Pani pi lo."

(Come, now drink some water.)

Rudraksh gently took the water glass and began to help Ruhanika drink, noticing the subtle change in her expression — it was clear she was on the verge of tears. She drank a little, but then, to his surprise, she extended the glass back toward him. He looked at her, his brows furrowed in confusion, unsure of what she was trying to convey.

Ruhanika: "Zyada baniye mat, hum jaante hai aapne vrat rakha hai, aur ye sabke samne bas kathore hone ka dikhawa karte hai."

(Don’t pretend too much; I know you also kept the fast and are just putting on this tough act in front of everyone.)

Rudraksh felt a surge of embarrassment as he realized Ruhanika knew him so well—every thought, every emotion. The warmth that rushed to his face was undeniable, and he quickly turned his head to hide his flushed cheeks. He tried to regain his composure, but the realization that his wife could read him like an open book made him all the more flustered.

Ruhanika, sensing his discomfort, couldn’t help but chuckle at his reaction. She reached for the glass of water and gently made him drink, her touch soothing and tender. As they shared this simple moment, lost in their small, intimate world, the sound of a glass dropping suddenly broke the calm.

Both of them turned at the same time, their attention diverted to the commotion. They saw Kartavya standing, holding Savisha tightly in his arms. The glass had fallen when she was in the middle of breaking Kartavya's fast. Kartavya, visibly concerned but calm, gently cupped her face in his hands and patted her cheeks.

Kartavya: "Mahiyeeee, utho yaar"

(Mahiye (beloved), wake up, please.)

Kartavya's face drained of color as Savisha suddenly fainted in his arms. Panic surged through him. Alarm spread through the room as everyone rushed towards them. Rudraksh and Rishwik quickly approached, their faces filled with concern. Ruhanika was close behind, her heart pounding in fear.

Rudraksh: "Bhai may be fast ki vajah se hua hoga, kamre me le chaliye bhabhi ko."

(Brother, it might be because of the fast. Let’s take her to the room, Bhabhi.)

Ashvik: "Main doctor ko call karta hu"

(I’ll call the doctor.)

Kartavya’s heart raced as he carefully lifted Savisha in his arms, her delicate form feeling weightless in his embrace. His breath hitched with each step he took, the urgency in his movements betraying the panic that was slowly creeping into him. His eyes were moist with unshed tears as he carried her downstairs, his mind racing with worry. The others followed closely behind, each person silently praying for Savisha's well-being.

Once they reached the bed, Kartavya gently laid Savisha down, covering her with a soft duvet. He could see that she wasn’t responding, and a wave of fear washed over him. He quickly grabbed a glass of water and splashed it on her face, hoping for a reaction, but there was none. Panic tightened his chest. Without hesitation, he began rubbing her hands with gentle force, trying to coax her back to consciousness. He softly patted her cheeks, his voice barely above a whisper, calling her name as though his words would reach her.

Kritika, seeing the distress in Kartavya’s eyes, quickly sat down near Savisha’s feet. She massaged them with care, hoping that some physical stimulation would bring her back. Her movements were slow but steady, trying to give some comfort to the worried Kartavya and calm the tense atmosphere in the room.

The silence in the room was heavy, filled with anxiety. Everyone stood at a distance, watching helplessly. Karanjeet, though equally worried, stepped closer to Kartavya. He placed a comforting hand on his grandson’s shoulder, offering a silent but strong presence. Kartavya turned to look at his Dadu, his eyes filled with emotion, the fear and love in them mixing together.

Kartavya: "Dadu, kahi phir se toh kuch.."

(grandfather, it’s not like last time, is it?)

Karanjeet: "Nahi puttar, vaisa kuch nahi hoga, sab thik hai Meri Savi puttar bahaut strong hai."

(No, son, nothing like that will happen. Everything is fine. My Savi puttar (dear Savi) is very strong.)

Kartavya: "Toh kahiye na Dadu uth Jaye, kyu pareshan karti hai ye mujhe aise"

(Then tell her to wake up, Dadu! Why does she trouble me like this?)

Karanjeet: "Chinta na kar putt, exhaustion se behosh huyi hogi."

(Don’t worry, son. She must have fainted due to exhaustion.)

Rishwik: "Ji bhai, aap fikr mat karo and negative mat sochiye."

(Yes, brother, don’t worry and don’t think negatively.)

The room was thick with tension, every breath feeling heavier than the last. The quiet sobbing sound cut through the silence, drawing the attention of everyone in the room. It was Kritika, her tears falling freely as she rubbed Savisha's feet, the fear of the unknown weighing down on her. Karanjeet, sensing her distress, immediately moved to her side. He pulled her into a comforting embrace, his hand rubbing her back in a gentle, rhythmic motion to soothe her.

The men, though trying to appear composed, were struggling with their own internal turmoil. Rishwik, Ashvik, and Rudraksh stood together, their expressions betraying the worry they felt for Savisha. They all knew the severity of the situation, and the flashes of memories of the incident with Savisha earlier had brought the weight of the moment crashing down on them. Each of them fought to keep their emotions in check, though the fear was palpable in their eyes.

Akshavi, noticing Ashvik's unease, stepped closer and gently took his hand in hers. She began rubbing it soothingly, trying to offer him some comfort and reassurance. Her presence helped, though the uncertainty still loomed heavy in the air.

Meanwhile, Rudraksh noticed that Ruhanika had not entered the room with the rest. She stood by the door, her face completely expressionless, watching Savisha with an intensity that spoke of concern. Her stillness contrasted with the chaos inside, but Rudraksh understood. She was processing, just like the rest of them, but in her own way.

Rudraksh approached her slowly, his steps tentative but determined. When he reached her, he placed a hand gently on her shoulder, trying to ground her with his touch. Her eyes met his for a brief moment, a flicker of something unspoken passing between them.

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh??"

Ruhanika immediately clung to Rudraksh, her body trembling with fear. Her heart raced as she buried her face into his chest, feeling the weight of the moment. Rudraksh's arms instinctively wrapped around her, pulling her closer as he tried to comfort her. He could feel the wetness of her tears seeping through his shirt, her anxiety and fear evident in every shaky breath she took.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh jaana aap.."

Ruhanika: "Nima bhi ek baar aise hi behosh ho gayi thi, aur phir.. phir vo... Kabhi nahi..."

(Nima also fainted like this once, and then... then she... never came back.)

Rudraksh: "Shhhhh"

Rudraksh held Ruhanika close, his arms tightening around her as he gently caressed her head. He could feel her heart racing, her fear evident in the way her body trembled. He whispered soothing words into her ear, trying to calm both her and himself.

Rudraksh: "Aisa kuch nahi hoga betu, bhabhi ne kuch khaya Piya nahi hai na isiliye Aisa hua hai."

(Nothing like that will happen, dear. Bhabhi hasn’t eaten or drunk anything, which is why this happened.)

Ruhanika: "Pakka na, vo thik ho jayengi na?? Hum bahaut maante hai bhabhi sa ko unse Prem bhi karte hai, unhe kahiye vo uth Jaye hum unka khayal rakhenge swayam. "

(Are you sure? She’ll be okay, right? I love Bhabhi sa so much. Tell her to wake up; I’ll take care of her ourselves.)

Rudraksh held Ruhanika even closer, his arms wrapped around her as if to shield her from the uncertainty and stress that both of them were feeling. His heart was heavy with worry, not just for Savisha, but for everything that had been happening lately. He didn’t want Ruhanika to sense his unease, but the tension in the air was palpable, and it was hard for him to remain calm.

As if on cue, Amandeep entered the room, followed by the doctor. Their presence brought a glimmer of hope, but the uncertainty still lingered in the room. Slowly, one by one, the family members started leaving the room, but Kartavya remained by Savisha's side. He couldn’t bring himself to leave her—his devotion to her was clear, and his worry was written all over his face. The bond they shared was undeniable, and at that moment, he wouldn't budge.

Outside the room, the rest of the family paced back and forth, each step a reflection of their collective concern. The door to the room remained closed, keeping them at a distance from what was happening inside. The anxious energy was thick, and each minute felt like an eternity.

Ruhanika, feeling the weight of the situation, stood clinging to Rudraksh, her body pressed against his in an attempt to find some comfort amidst the chaos. Rudraksh held her tighter, not just to offer her reassurance, but also to ground himself. After some time, the door opened, and everyone quickly made their way towards the doctor, their faces filled with both concern and hope as they sought answers and reassurance.

Karanjeet: "Doctor, kaisi hai Savi puttar?"

(Doctor, how is Savi dear?)

Doctor: "You can all meet her; she has regained consciousness. However, I suggest taking good care of her and going for a full checkup soon."

Rishwik: "Is there anything to worry about, doctor?"

Doctor: "You can discuss this with the couple. I'll take my leave now."

Everyone rushed toward them, with Ashvik quickly paying the doctor's fees before she left. As they entered, they found Savisha in Kartavya's arms, crying uncontrollably. Kartavya, usually so composed, had tears in his eyes as well, his arms tightly wrapped around her in an effort to comfort her. The scene was emotionally charged, and the room was filled with a heavy silence, the weight of the moment affecting everyone in the family.

Karanjeet: "Kartavya, puttar ji hoya? Eh doctor ki keh rahi si??"

(Kartavya puttar, what's wrong? What did the doctor mean?)

Rudraksh: "Bhai sab thik hai na?? Doctor asked to go for a complete checkup."

(Brother, is everything okay? The doctor asked for a full checkup.)

Ashvik: "Bhai bolo na, should we go to the hospital now??"

(Brother, tell us, should we take her to the hospital now?)

Amandeep: "Bhai, let's go. I'll book the appointment and arrange everything."

Kritika ran and hugged Savisha and Kartavya, her heart aching as she understood why her brother and sister-in-law were crying. Meanwhile, Ruhanika's grip tightened on Rudraksh's torso, her anxiety growing.

Ruhanika: "Sab ro rahe hai, kya hua hai hume darr lag raha hai Aksh."

(Everyone is crying. What's wrong? I'm scared, Aksh.)

Rudraksh gently rubbed her back.

Rishwik: "Kriti dii ab aap bhi ro rahe ho."

(Kriti di, even you're crying now?)

Kritika: "Areh idiot, samjhe nahi aap sab abhi tak??"

(Oh, you idiot, haven't you understood yet?)

All shook their heads.

Kritika: "Bhabhi ki saalon ki mannat puri ho gayi hai. She's pregnant."

(Bhabhi's years-long prayers have been answered. She's pregnant.)

Everyone was shocked, their expressions frozen in surprise, before they turned to Kartavya and Savisha, who nodded with a smile and moist eyes, silently confirming the unexpected news. In a burst of excitement, Rishwik shouted and jumped in place.

Rishwik: "Chachu banunga main

yeaahhhhh.

(I'm going to be an uncle! Yesss!)

Ruhanika wiped her tears, her confusion growing as she looked at the couple. She slowly walked towards Savisha, her steps hesitant but determined, and sat on the bed in front of her, her eyes searching for answers in Savisha's gaze.

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi saa, kya aap mumma banne wali hai??"

(Bhabhi sa, are you going to become a mom?)

Savisha smiled warmly and nodded.

Ruhanika: "Toh sab ro kyu rahe hai??"

(Then why is everyone crying?)

Kartavya patted Ruhanika's head affectionately, a soft smile on his face.

Kartavya: "Khushi ke aasu ke little sunshine, bahaut waqt se chahiye rahe the hum inhe aur ab jaake aa rahe hai ye."

(These are tears of joy, little sunshine. We've wanted this for a long time, and now it's finally happening.)

Kartavya gently gestured towards Savisha's tummy, his eyes gleaming with excitement and pride as he indicated to their baby,

Savisha: "Shayad tumhare Aashirwad ka hi asar hai Ruhii bachcha."

(Perhaps it's because of your blessings, Ruhii bachcha.)

Ruhanika's face suddenly lit up with a grin as she fully understood, and without a second thought, she hugged Savisha tightly. The room filled with laughter as everyone chuckled at the sweet, spontaneous moment.

Ruhanika: "Toh chota baby hume kya bolega?? Hum kya banenge??"

(So what will the little baby call me? What will I become?)

Savisha: "Chachi banogi Ruhii tum."

(You'll be the baby's Chachi (aunt), Ruhii.)

Ruhanika pulled back from the hug, her face radiating with excitement as she grinned from ear to ear. Everyone gathered around, offering congratulations and heartfelt blessings to the couple. Kartavya, overwhelmed with joy, hugged his grandfather tightly, while Karanjeet patted him on the back, sharing in the happiness of the moment.

Karanjeet: "Ab itna mat soch, khush reh aur Savi puttar ka dhyaan de."

(Don't think too much now. Just be happy and take care of Savi puttar.)

Kartavya nodded.

Akshavi: "Chaliye hum sab bahar chalte hai bhabhi ko bhi araam ki zarurat hai na."

(Let's all step out now. Bhabhi needs rest.)

Kartavya: "Mahiye main aapke liye khana lekar aata hu."

(Mahiye, I'll bring food for you.)

Akshavi: "Bhai aap baithiye bhabhi ke pass, main bhejwati hu khana"

(Brother, sit here with Bhabhi. I'll send the food.)

Everyone nodded and left the couple to have some privacy, giving them the space they needed. Meanwhile, Ashvik, Amandeep, and Rishwik couldn't contain their excitement and started dancing in the living room, celebrating the good news. Karanjeet, Kritika, Akshavi, and Ruhanika soon joined in, after instructing the servants to take food to Kartavya and Savisha. The atmosphere in the house was filled with joy, laughter, and an infectious energy.

Rudraksh stood back, watching his family with a smile on his face. It had been so long since they had all celebrated something so happy. As his eyes wandered over to Ruhanika, his heart swelled with love. She was dancing with such carefree joy, and it hit him once again-ever since she entered his life, everything had been growing more beautiful. His world felt complete with her by his side, and he silently thanked fate for bringing her to him.

And those who wanted to see Kartavya and Savisha as parents, lijiye kar di aap sabki Khwaish puri.

Also, apologies for not replying earlier—someone mentioned that the target has been completed. To clarify, updating early means I’ll post before 7 PM, but the fixed days remain Saturday and Sunday.🌸

Precap: Two people arguing.

Also, just a reminder—the book will primarily focus on Rudraksh and Ruhanika, so no need to stress. The other couples will have occasional glimpses and a few scenes purely for entertainment.

Comments kar do yaar, I literally stayed up writing it until 1:15 AM! If you need proof, ask tiwarimedha_6 .🥹🥹

Someone had requested the aesthetics for their house—I’ll include that in the next chapter. Stay tuned! 😉

Please bear with me for this week as the updates are relatively simple. From next week, Ruhanika’s transformation journey begins!
