(Ruhanika)
Rudraksh, his demeanor calm but authoritative, turned to look at Kashmira. With a subtle gesture of his hand, he directed her to take a seat. Kashmira, still reeling from the earlier exchange, nodded and lowered herself onto the couch, trying to compose herself. The rest of the group followed suit, each taking their respective seats, though the underlying tension in the room was palpable. Moments later, Savisha and Kritika entered the room. Their expressions immediately hardened when they spotted Kashmira, their dislike for her evident in the way they gritted their teeth. However, their initial reaction quickly shifted to a shared smirk as their minds began to work in unison. They exchanged a knowing glance, their smirks hinting at plans to deal with Kashmira in their own way, before gracefully taking their seats, ready to join the unfolding drama.
Savisha: "Oh Kashmira, what a pleasant surprise. How are you?"
Kritika: "Everyone is here. Whereâs Ruhanika bhabhi'
Kritika had always refrained from addressing Ruhanika as bhabhi since Ruhanika was younger than her. However, this time, Kritika made a deliberate exception, mischievously calling her bhabhi in a playful tone. Her intention wasnât lost on anyoneâit was a subtle dig meant to tease Kashmira, whom none of them particularly liked. The atmosphere grew charged as Rishwik, Ashvik, and Amandeep exchanged knowing glances, trying to suppress their laughter. They coughed awkwardly, their amusement thinly veiled, while Kashmira's expression soured.
Kritika: "Kashmira, you know, you should meet Ruhii bhabhi. Sheâs Rudraksh bhai's wife. Youâre a good friend of bhai, so youâll definitely like her."
Ruhanika returned to the room carrying a tray of water and snacks, her graceful movements reflecting her sense of duty as a host. Despite her dislike for Kashmiraâespecially after witnessing her attempt to get close to Rudraksh, her *Aksh*âRuhanika couldn't compromise on her hospitality. She carefully placed the tray on the tea table, her demeanor polite but distant.
Once her task was done, she quietly sat beside Rudraksh, who, without a moment's hesitation, placed his hand on her shoulder in a protective and reassuring gesture. The casual intimacy between them was unmistakable and spoke volumes about their bond. Kashmira, watching the scene unfold, clenched her fists in frustration, her teeth gritting as jealousy and anger simmered within her. Rudrakshâs unwavering attention toward Ruhanika only deepened the sting of her failed attempts.
Savisha: "Ruhii, beta ye Kashmira hai, Dadu ke dost ki poti hai, london me rehti hai."
(Ruhii, dear, this is Kashmira, grandfather's friendâs granddaughter. She lives in London.)
Ruhanika joined her hands politely and greeted Kashmira.
Ruhanika: "Namaste Mehmaan Didi, kaisi hai aap??"
(Namaste, dear guest. How are you?)
Kashmira didnât say a word, but her intense glare never left Ruhanika, her eyes full of resentment and jealousy. Ruhanika, feeling the weight of those piercing stares, began to feel uncomfortable. She instinctively shifted closer to Rudraksh, seeking his comfort and protection. Rudraksh noticed immediately. His protective instincts kicked in, and a surge of anger coursed through him at the sight of Kashmira making Ruhanika feel uneasy. He clenched his jaw but kept his composure, placing his hand on Ruhanika's shoulder. Slowly, he rubbed it gently, his touch meant to calm her and reassure her that she was safe with him. His blood boiled, not just because of Kashmira's behavior, but because he couldn't stand seeing the woman he loved feel uncomfortable or scared. He glared at Kashmira, silently warning her that he would not tolerate her disrespect toward Ruhanika.
Rudraksh: "Jaana, lunch ka time ho gaya hai, khana ready hai??"
(darling, itâs lunchtime. Is the food ready?)
Ruhanika: "Ji Akshh bas kheer banani hai."
(Yes, Akshh , I just need to make the kheer)
Rudraksh: "Jaldi se bana dogi??"
(Will you make it quickly?)
Ruhanika: "Ji abhi banate hai."
(Yes, Iâll make it now.)
Ruhanika quickly got up and left the room, unable to bear the tension any longer. As she walked away, Rudraksh's gaze turned cold and intense. He shot a fiery glare at Kashmira, who, with narrowed eyes, was still fixated on Ruhanika's retreating figure.
Rudraksh: "Hereee"
Rudraksh's voice was sharp and full of anger as he spoke, his words cutting through the silence. Kashmira shot him a fiery look in return, her own anger evident in the way she glared at him.
Kashmira: "How dare you ditch me?"
Kashmira stood up, her posture tense, and Rudraksh moved in front of her, his presence steady and unwavering. The air around them thickened with unspoken words, and everyone else in the room sensed the tension building. Though the situation was delicate, they knew it had to be addressed and resolved swiftly. No one dared to speak, but each of them held their breath, waiting for the moment to unfold.
Kashmira: "Iâve been in love with you for the past two years, and you married someone else who doesnât even match my standards."
Anger surged through everyone at Kashmira's harsh words directed at Ruhanika, but they held back, trusting that Rudraksh, with his calm and sensible demeanor, would handle the situation. Kashmira, her face contorted with frustration, suddenly reached out and grabbed Rudraksh's collar, pulling him closer with an intensity that surprised everyone.
Kashmira: "Iâm not going to let this go so easily, Mr. Rudraksh Malhotra. Iâve been after you since the day I saw you, and now, I will make you mine at any cost. If anyone comes between us, theyâll have to face the consequences."
Ashvik clenched his fists tightly, struggling to hold back his anger, the urge to lash out on Kashmira boiling within him. His jaw tightened, but he remained silent, knowing the situation needed to be handled with care. Rudraksh mmediately reached up to grasp Kashmiraâs hand that was gripping his collar. With a firm but controlled motion, he pushed her back slightly, creating space between them. His eyes locked with hers, calm yet piercing, as she looked at him with wide, startled eyes, clearly taken aback by his sudden action.
Rudraksh: "First of all, Ms. Kashmira Bajaj, youâre not after meâyouâre after my money because your fatherâs business is on the verge of bankruptcy, and you want a secure future."
Kashmiraâs eyes widened in shock at Rudraksh's words.
Rudraksh: "Secondly, yes, my Ruhh isnât ânear your standardâ because sheâs far betterâa pure soul. So donât you dare compare yourself to my wife."
Kashmira suddenly burst into laughter, clapping her hands mockingly.
Kashmira: "So you think that girl loves you? No, Rudraksh, youâre absolutely wrong. Sure, I want a stable future, and thatâs why Iâm after you, but let me clear up your misunderstandingâsheâs also with you for the same reason. She trapped you because she knew youâre emotionally gullible."
Rishwik: "Stop talking nonsense about my brother and my Angel before I lose my temper."
Kashmira: "You know what? I can prove sheâs only after your money, and one way or another, Iâll make you mine."
The tension in the room was palpable, each person present burning with anger, unable to tolerate a single word against Ruhanika, the person they all cherished deeply. The atmosphere was thick with unspoken fury, and the collective desire to protect Ruhanika simmered just beneath the surface. Rudraksh, who had been trying to keep his calm for the past two years, finally reached his breaking point. His patience had run thin with Kashmira's constant provocations. He was done with her disrespect, and it was clear nowâhe wanted to make her understand her place once and for all.
Rudraksh: "Prove it."
Ashvik: "Rudraksh??"
Rishwik: "Bhai Angel Darr jayegi"
(brother, Angel will get scared.)
Savisha: "Rudraksh, sheâs not strong enough right now."
Amandeep: "Sir, this girl might harm Ruhi."
Savisha: "Rudraksh, just ask her to leave."
Kritika: "Yes, bhai. We donât need any proof; we trust our Ruhii."
Rudraksh: "But she should know what a gem my Ruhh is. Go ahead."
Kashmira smirked, her expression dripping with mockery and confidence. She reveled in the effect her actions were having, unbothered by Rudrakshâs anger.
Kashmira: "What if I prove sheâs a gold digger?"
Rudraksh: "Then Iâll marry you on the spot."
Kashmira grinned to herself, a sense of satisfaction washing over her as she believed her plan was about to succeed. She could see the discomfort and shock in the eyes of everyone around her, but it only fueled her confidence.
Rudraksh: "But..."
Kashmiraâs grin faltered as confusion slowly spread across her face.
Rudraksh: "And if youâre wrong, youâll never show your face again."
Kashmira: "Deal. But get ready to be mine, Mr. Rudraksh Malhotra."
Rudraksh: "Go ahead."
Kashmira quickly regained her composure, a sly smirk creeping across her face once again. With a confident stride, she headed toward the kitchen, where Ruhanika was.
Savisha: "Rudraksh ye kya kiya??"
(Rudraksh, what have you done?)
Kritika: "Bhai Ruhi darr jayegi vo abhi itni strong nhi hai."
(Bhai, Ruhi will get scared. Sheâs not that strong right now.)
Rudraksh: "Itni kamzor bhi nahi hai meri Ruhh, aur agar baat meri ho toh bilkul nahi, aap sab bas dekhte jaiye."
(Sheâs not that weak either, especially when it comes to me. Just wait and watch.)
Everyone was worried about Ruhanika, but Kartavya and Rudraksh had hope in their eyes. Kartavya understood the reason behind Rudraksh's actions and why he was doing it. As Kashmira entered the kitchen, the entire group, hidden just out of Ruhanika's sight, watched the unfolding drama with bated breath. Kartavya and Rudraksh exchanged knowing glances, both understanding the reason behind Rudrakshâs actions. There was a quiet hope in their eyes, even though they knew the tension was about to escalate. Ruhanika, busy preparing the kheer, felt her movements come to a sudden halt when she noticed Kashmira standing in the doorway of the kitchen. The smirk on her face was anything but friendly, sending an unsettling chill through Ruhanika. The girlâs confident stance, her overly dramatic presence, and the way she looked at Ruhanika didnât sit well with her. Ruhanikaâs body stiffened instinctively. Her first reaction was to feel a flicker of fear, but she quickly squashed it. She couldnât let Kashmira see how rattled she felt, not when she was trying so hard to stay calm. She took a slow breath, gathering her composure, and then turned to face the girl with a serene expression, masking the unease she had just felt.
Ruhanika: "Jii kya aapko kuch chahiye?"
(Yes, do you need something?)
Kashmira: "Jo chahiye vo toh tum leke baithi ho"
(What I need is something youâve taken.)
Ruhanika: "Jiii???"
(Excuse me?)
Kashmira moved closer to Ruhanika with a calculating smirk, her fingers brushing through Ruhanika's hair before trailing down to touch her dupatta. The gesture was deliberate, a way to invade her personal space and assert control. Ruhanika immediately felt a surge of unease, instinctively shifting away from Kashmira's touch, trying to regain some distance and composure.
Ruhanika: "Kya chahiye aapko?"
(What do you need?)
Kashmira: "itne lambe baal, behen ji types kapde, ha bas dikhne me thodi khoobsurat ho, isi se fasaya hai na mere Rudraksh ko??"
(Long hair, traditional clothes⦠You look like a simpleton. Is this how you trapped my Rudraksh?)
Ruhanika's eyes widened in surprise and discomfort as she looked at Kashmira, her expression a mixture of shock and unease.
Kashmira: "Why are you staring at me like that, woman? I know your type. You pretend to be innocent to trap rich billionaires like Rudraksh"
Ruhanika: "Aap kya keh rahi hai hume kuch nahi samajh raha hai, aap mehmaan hai yaha kitchen me nahi aana chahiye aapko, aap chaliye hum khana lagate hai."
(I donât understand what youâre saying. Youâre a guest here; you shouldnât be in the kitchen. Please come. Iâll serve the food.)
Ruhanika calmly spoke, her focus on pouring the kheer into the bowl, though the tension in the air was palpable. Meanwhile, outside, Rudraksh seethed with anger, his blood boiling at the thought of Kashmira making his Ruhh uncomfortable. Inside, the situation escalated when Kashmira suddenly grabbed Ruhanika's hand with force, spinning her around to face her. Rudraksh's fist tightened around his palm, the muscles in his jaw clenching as he fought to keep his composure. The urge to confront Kashmira was overwhelming, but he knew he had to remain in control, at least for now.
Kashmira: "Stop this act and admit youâre after Rudrakshâs money. Trust me, thereâs no shame in that."
Rudrakshâs tension grew as he watched Ruhanika remain silent, not responding to Kashmiraâs harsh words. His protective instincts kicked in, his heart racing as he saw the discomfort in Ruhanikaâs eyes, but she still didn't speak up. Outside, Ashvik took a step forward, sensing the shift in the atmosphere. He was ready to rush inside, but before he could make a move, Kartavya grabbed his arm, holding him back firmly. Ashvik hesitated, his eyes flickering towards the door, but he trusted Kartavyaâs judgment, though his worry for Ruhanika was evident.
Kashmira: "I know you must have seduced him. Thatâs why heâs so madly in love with you, right?"
Ruhanika looked at Kashmira with an intense gaze, her eyes burning with unspoken emotion. Kashmira, sensing the challenge in her stare, smirked inwardly, thinking that all she needed to do was provoke Ruhanika just a little more, and sheâd eventually give in. Kashmira's confidence grew, believing that pushing the right buttons would lead to the reaction she was hoping for.
Kashmira: "Batao bhi koi pyaar nahi karti na usse, pati patni ka rishta bhi hai ki nahi tumhare beech?? Ya sirf tarsa ke rakha hai Rudraksh ko, you know physical attraction."
(Come on, tell meâyou donât actually love him, do you? Do you even have a proper husband-wife relationship? Or have you just kept him wanting more to keep him hooked?)
Ruhanikaâs confusion grew as she tried to decipher the hidden meaning behind Kashmiraâs words. Though she couldnât fully grasp the implications, it was clear that Kashmira was speaking ill of her relationship with Rudraksh. The subtle malice in her tone made Ruhanikaâs heart tighten, but what stung more was the disrespect for something so precious to her. Meanwhile, Rudraksh, who had been standing nearby, was already boiling with anger. His jaw clenched, his fists tightening at his sides, as the weight of Kashmiraâs words sank in. How dare she tarnish the sanctity of his and Ruhanika's bond?
Kashmira: "Areh bolo bhi yaar ab itna kya chupana, Vaise ek baat jaan lo use toh main apna bana ke rahungi, kya hai na these Men canât control themselves for too long. If he doesnât get what he wants from you, heâll come to me. And then heâll leave you."
(Tell me! Thereâs no point hiding it. Anyway, let me tell you somethingâeventually, heâll come to me. )
Ruhanika: "Basssssss"
(Enough!)
Ruhanika, her patience finally reaching its breaking point, hurled the spoon from her hand with all her might. The metal utensil flew through the air and slammed near the kitchen door, a sharp clang echoing through the room. Everyone watched in stunned silence as the spoon landed, visibly bent from the pressure she had been exerting on it before throwing it. The force with which she had thrown it was almost shockingâno one had expected such a sudden and intense outburst. She almost broke the spoon in two.
Kashmira, who had been observing Ruhanika, now looked at her in disbelief, her eyes widening at the sight of the raw anger in Ruhanikaâs face. Ruhanikaâs eyes, usually calm and composed, were now a fiery red, the intensity of her emotions so palpable that it seemed as though she was radiating heat. Without a word, Ruhanika moved toward Kashmira with an almost predatory grace. She grabbed her hand, twisting it behind her back in one swift motion, and forced her into a pin against the kitchen slab. The sudden action was so forceful that the rest of the room stood frozen, unsure of how to react to the extreme shift in Ruhanikaâs demeanor.
Ruhanika: "Hum kuch keh nahi rahe toh aap kuch zyada hi bole ja rahi hai, himmat kaise huyi aapki humare aur Aksh ke rishte par sawaal uthane ki?? "
(Just because Iâve been quiet doesnât mean you can say whatever you want. How dare you question my relationship with Aksh?)
Rudraksh stood at the edge of the kitchen, a proud smirk playing on his lips as he observed Ruhanika's explosive reaction. While the rest of the room was frozen in shock, stunned by the intensity of her words, her behavior, and especially the fierce look in her eyes, Rudraksh could hardly contain his satisfaction. To him, this was the culmination of his plan. He had carefully pushed Ruhanikaâs limits, knowing that once her patience snapped, the world would see Kashmira's true placeâbeneath her, and completely at her mercy.
Ruhanika, her eyes burning with fury, exuded an aura of power and control, like a lioness who had been cornered and was now ready to strike. The transformation was strikingâher usual calm demeanor had vanished, replaced by a raw, unrelenting anger. She stood before Kashmira like an unstoppable force, every movement radiating dominance and confidence.
Without any hesitation, Ruhanika shoved Kashmira even harder against the kitchen slab, her grip on the woman's hand unyielding. The force was so intense that it sent a sharp crack through the silence of the room. But Ruhanika seemed unfazed, as if she had become someone entirely different, a woman who had been pushed too far and was now taking control of the situation in a way that left no room for doubt. Rudraksh, still watching with that smug grin, knew this was exactly what was needed. He had brought Ruhanika to this point, carefully pushing her until she showed Kashmira and everyone else the strength she had been hiding for so long.
Kashmira: "Ahhh, youâre hurting me woman!"
Ruhanika: "Toh bardasht kijiye, kyuki bahaut bakwas kar li hai aapne, kya laga aap kahengi aur hum Maan lenge?? Hum jante hai apne Aksh ko vo aise nahi hai aur dobara aisa bolne ki himmat nhi mat kijiyega."
(Then bear it, because youâve said enough nonsense. Did you think Iâd just sit back and listen? I know my Aksh. Heâs not like that, and donât you dare say otherwise again.)
Ruhanikaâs eyes burned with intensity as she reached for a knife from the nearby counter. She held it in front of Kashmira near her throat, her gaze unwavering, making sure the message was crystal clear. Kashmiraâs eyes widened in genuine fear as she saw the knifeâher bravado faltering for a moment. The terrifying force of Ruhanikaâs sudden anger was enough to shake her, and she could feel her own breath catch in her throat. Earlier, Kashmira had looked at Ruhanika with a sense of superiority, thinking to herself that she was too naive and easily manipulable. She believed that with just a few calculated moves, she could provoke Ruhanika into reacting in a way that would work to her advantage, using her innocence against her.
Ruhanika: "Aur dobara humare Aksh ko apna kehne ki galti mat kijiyega, hum ye bardasht nahi karenge Aksh sirf aur sirf unki Ruhh ke hai and I hope Iâve made myself clear, Ms. Kashmira. Donât you dare open that filthy mouth of yours again, or you wonât like the consequences. Got it?"
( And donât ever make the mistake of calling my Aksh yours again. I wonât tolerate it. Aksh belongs to his Ruhh alone.)
Ruhanika, her chest heaving with each breath, slammed the knife down on the kitchen slab with a resounding clang. The sound echoed through the room, intensifying the heavy silence. Her eyes still glowed with an unnatural intensity, the red of her irises a clear sign of her fury. She shoved Kashmira to the floor, her strength overwhelming in that moment. Kashmira, stunned and humiliated, scrambled to her feet before glaring at Ruhanika one last time. With a huff of frustration, she stormed out of the kitchen, leaving Ruhanika standing there, trembling with adrenaline. Ruhanika's hands gripped the kitchen slab tightly as she tried to steady herself, her heartbeat thundering in her chest like a war drum. The rush of anger and power still surged through her veins, but now, the tension in her body was starting to release. Her fist was raised, about to strike the slab in frustration, when a pair of strong hands suddenly grabbed her own.
Rudraksh had been watching from the side, his instincts kicking in the moment he saw Ruhanikaâs impending outburst. He moved swiftly, positioning himself between her and the kitchen slab just in time to prevent her from hitting it. His touch was grounding, his grip on her wrist firm but gentle. Ruhanika, her emotions swirling in a chaotic storm, didn't even thinkâshe simply acted. Without a second thought, she threw herself into his arms, pressing her face into his chest. Her body trembled with the remnants of the anger and fear sheâd just unleashed, and in the safety of his embrace, she felt a sudden wave of exhaustion and vulnerability wash over her.
Rudrakshâs arms encircled her tightly, holding her as though she was the most precious thing in his world. He felt her tears soaking through his shirt as she clung to him, and with a soft, soothing motion, he gently caressed her head, offering the comfort she needed in that moment. The rest of the family, witnessing the raw intensity of the scene, quietly backed away, giving them the space to process and heal.
Rudraksh: "Youâre strong, Jaan. Shh, calm down."
Ruhanika's body trembled slightly, her heartbeat racing and her breath coming in quick, heavy gasps. The emotions swirling within her seemed overwhelming, but as she wrapped her arms around Rudraksh, everything began to settle. The gentle rhythm of his heartbeat against hers, the warmth of his embrace, and the soft comfort of his presence slowly began to calm her. The redness in her eyes faded, and the tension in her chest loosened. She took a deep breath, feeling the safety and peace that only Rudraksh could bring, and gradually, a sense of ease washed over her.
Rudraksh: "Shh jaana calm down sab thik hai."
(Shh, darling, calm down. Everythingâs fine.)
Ruhanika slowly pulled back, her heart pounding in her chest. Her eyes welled up with tears.
Ruhanika: "Sab thik nahi hai Aksh, ye abhi aap jante hai humne kya Kiya vo vo hum... Vo hum aise toh nahi hai phir vo kaise.. matlab"
(Everythingâs not fine, Aksh. Did you see what I did? I⦠Iâm not like this. How could Iâ¦)
Rudraksh hugged her tightly to his chest once again, his hold firm yet gentle, as if offering her all the strength he could. He could feel the subtle tremble of her body, and he understood her inner turmoil all too well. It wasnât easy for someone like Ruhanikaâwho had always kept her emotions locked away, especially intense ones like angerâto let them spill out so suddenly. He knew the anger inside her was intense, and her bodyâs trembling was a reflection of that overwhelming surge of emotion.
Rudraksh: "isme tumhari galti nahi hai betu, shant ho jao pehle."
(This isnât your fault, dear. Calm down first.)
Ruhanika: "Vo vo bura bura keh rahi thi aapko, humare aur aapke rishte ko, hum sun nahi paaye."
(She was saying such dirty things about you, about us⦠I couldnât stand it.)
With a soft, comforting murmur, he rubbed her back in soothing circles, his voice low and steady.
Ruhanika: "Aap naraz nahi hai na humse??"
(Youâre not mad at me, are you?)
He gently pulled her back then cupped her face with a tender touch, lifting her gaze to meet his. Without a word, he pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, his gesture full of warmth and care.
Rudraksh: "Nahi Ruhh, tumne kuch galat nahi kiya hai betu, I'm proud of you. Itna mat socho okay??"
(No, Ruhh. You didnât do anything wrong. Iâm proud of you. Donât overthink, okay?)
Ruhanika nodded silently, her eyes fluttering shut as if she was trying to block out the overwhelming emotions. Her face reflected the deep pain she was feeling, the hurt and vulnerability clear in her expression. Her body trembled slightly, the shivers betraying the quiet storm of emotions she was trying to keep in check.
Rudraksh: "Sar me dard hai??"
(Do you have a headache?)
Rudraksh gently picked Ruhanika up in his arms, cradling her as though she were the most precious thing in the world. Ruhanika didnât protest, knowing she needed him more than ever in that moment. She buried her face further into his neck, seeking the warmth and comfort only he could provide. Her head throbbed, the weight of her emotions threatening to overwhelm her, a result of the sudden and intense anger she had never expressed before. It had been years since she allowed herself to feel something so raw, and the release was both liberating and exhausting. Rudraksh, sensing the storm within her, silently carried her to their room, his steps steady and sure. As they passed through the living area, the rest of the family, including Kashmira, watched them in silence, understanding the depth of the moment without needing to speak.
Rudraksh gently helped Ruhanika onto the bed. But just as he began to stand up, Ruhanika reached out and grabbed his hand, her grip firm yet trembling.
Ruhanika: "Aap kaha ja rahe hai?? Humare pass hi rahiye, hume bechaini ho rahi hai."
(Where are you going? Stay with me. Iâm feeling restless.)
Rudraksh smiled softly, his heart aching at the sight of Ruhanikaâs fragile state. He gently caressed her cheek.
Rudraksh: "Yahi hu jaana, bas 2 minute."
(Iâm right here, darling. Just two minutes.)
Rudraksh left the room for a moment and returned with a small bottle of oil, his expression soft but determined. Ruhanika gave him a confused look, unsure of what he was planning, but he simply smiled in response, his eyes filled with reassurance. Gently, he helped her lay back down on the bed.
Rudraksh: "Shh just relax, sar dard hai main massage kar deta hu, tum so jao kuch der."
(Shh, just relax. Do you have a headache? Let me massage your head, and you can rest for a while.)
Ruhanika: "Nahi nahi aapne aur niche kisi ne khana nahi khaya hai vo..."
(No, no. You and everyone downstairs havenât eaten yetâ¦)
Ruhanika tried to sit up, but before she could make much movement, Rudraksh gently placed his hand on her shoulder, guiding her back down.
Rudraksh: "Itna mat socho aur chup ab ekdum."
(Stop worrying. Quiet now. Not a word.)
Ruhanika pouted at Rudraksh, her expression soft and endearing, and his heart melted with a chuckle. His cute wife was back, and it was a sight that filled him with warmth. He gently began massaging her scalp, applying a bit of oil to her hair as he worked to relax her. The soothing motions soon eased her, and before long, Ruhanika drifted off into a deep, peaceful slumber, the tension in her body finally easing.
But as he pulled up her sleeves, Rudrakshâs gaze fell on the marks left by Kashmira's fingers on Ruhanikaâs delicate skin. His blood boiled in an instant, fury coursing through him at the thought of anyone hurting his wife. His muscles tightened, but he took a deep breath, forcing himself to stay composed. He carefully applied ointment to her marks, the anger simmering beneath the surface.
Once he was sure she was comfortable, he covered her securely with the duvet and adjusted the AC to her preferred temperature. After giving her one last tender glance, he quietly left the room, heading towards the living room, where he could take a moment to regain his calm before dealing with the storm that was brewing inside him.
Rudraksh descended the stairs with an air of absolute authority, his presence commanding the entire room, his "Leo" aura returning in full force.. The usual calmness in his demeanor was gone, replaced by an overwhelming aura of anger that emanated from him like a storm ready to break. His eyes, dark and piercing, locked onto Kashmira with a ferocity that could cut through steel. It was the type of gaze that spoke volumes without a single word being utteredâhis anger was palpable, and Kashmira could feel it in the pit of her stomach. Though she wasn't aware of the full extent of Rudraksh's involvement in the underground world, she knew enough about his temper to understand the danger she was now facing. The fury in his eyes was unlike anything she'd ever seen before. This was no mere irritation or annoyanceâthis was the wrath of a man who would not tolerate disrespect, especially not toward those he cared for. She had pushed him too far.
Ashvik, Amandeep, and Rishwik stood at a distance, having controlled their own anger with great difficulty after witnessing Kashmira's aggression towards Ruhanika, but they were held back by Kartavyaâs quiet command, knowing Rudraksh had it under control. The tension was palpable, and the air seemed to crackle with it. Rudraksh stopped in front of Kashmira, his presence demanding attention. She instinctively stood up, the force of his gaze making her uneasy, but she met it, albeit with a nervous tension. Ashvik, Rishwik, and Amandeep stood behind Rudraksh, a silent show of support, their expressions hard and unreadable. Kartavya remained seated, his calm demeanor belying the seriousness of the situation. Savisha and Kritika sat across the room, each wearing a small smirk, clearly not fond of Kashmiraâs presence around Rudraksh. They had seen the tension, and it was no secret that they never trusted Kashmira.
Rudraksh: "The way you tried to hurt my wife, I could have killed you, but I had my reasons for all this. So, I expect you to leave from here, and by here I mean from India, if you donât want chaos in your life."
Kashmira: "You did all this deliberately, didnât you? Just to insult me. You knew your wifeâthat womanâis mad, and..."
Ashvik: "Shut up! Donât you dare say a word against my sister."
Rishwik: "When Bhai is telling you to leave, then why canât you just leave? Why are you digging your own grave here?"
Amandeep: "Because, sir, this woman came here with the motive of manipulating Bhai and marrying him. Her fatherâs company, Mr. Bajajâs company, is on the verge of shutting down. Am I right, Ms. Kashmira Bajaj?"
Amandeep couldnât help but ask with a knowing smirk, his voice laced with curiosity and a hint of amusement. The moment he learned that Kashmira was coming to India, he immediately grew suspicious. His instincts were never wrong, and they told him that there was more to her story than met the eye. Amandeep, ever vigilant, decided to dig deeper and conducted a thorough investigation into Kashmiraâs motive of returning India. Kashmira was the granddaughter of Mr. Karanjeet Singh Khurana's late friend. After his friend passing a few years ago, Karanjeet had devised a plan to marry Kashmira to Rudraksh. The reason? Kartavya, already married.
Rishwik: "Also, looking at the latest balance sheet and account status, itâs clear youâre drowning in debt, right?"
Rishwik smirked to himself, a sense of triumph washing over him. He had successfully hacked into the entire database of Kashmira's father's company, gaining access to every piece of information hidden within.
Ashvik: "All the investors have backed out from your company due to the remarkable progress of the company, am I correct?"
Ashvik smirked, his words dripping with sarcasm as he glanced at Kashmira. Kartavya, on the other hand, sat back, a satisfied grin on his face. He watched the unfolding scene with quiet pride, feeling a surge of pride for his brothers and their clever moves. It was clear they were in control, and he couldnât help but enjoy the show, knowing their plan was falling into place perfectly.
Rudraksh: "Do you need more reality checks, or is this enough?"
Kritika walked in with a confident stride and she paused for a moment before standing beside Rishwik.
Kritika: "I think you should go and find some other billionaire for yourself, Cash-Mira."
Rishwik and Kritika shared a laugh, exchanging a triumphant high-five. Kashmira, seething with rage, could do nothing but fume silently, her frustration boiling inside her. For now, she was powerless to act, unable to retaliate against their success.
Kashmira: "So, all this was planned? You all just wanted to insult me, right?"
Amandeep: "Smart girl."
Kashmira: "Iâll leave today, but remember this: Iâll be back to avenge this insult. I wonât forget any of this easily."
Rishwik: "Bye, Didiiiii"
Kashmira grabbed her bag, her gaze burning with fury as she shot one last glare at Rudraksh. Unmoved, he simply raised his eyebrows in a silent, dismissive gesture, signaling for her to leave. With a final huff, Kashmira turned on her heel and stormed out, her anger still simmering, but with no choice but to walk away.
Savisha: "Rassi jal gayi par bal nahi gaya."
(The rope may have burnt, but its strength remains.)
Kritika: "jis tarah se rassi jali hai bhabhi khaak ho jayegi aadhe raste me hi."
(The way the rope has burnt, Bhabhi, sheâll turn to ashes midway.)
Rishwik and Kritika exchanged another victorious high-five, their laughter filling the room as they basked in the moment. Rudraksh walked over to Kartavya, sitting down beside him with a relaxed yet confident demeanor. Meanwhile, Ashvik took a seat in front of Rudraksh, settling next to Savisha. He leaned back, resting his head on her shoulder.
Savisha: "Ashu???"
Ashvik: "main kyu nahi tha bhabhi meri teddy ke sath?? Itni si toh hai choti si aur itna gussa bhara hai uske andar, zahir hai ye bas aaj ka gussa nahi tha."
(Why wasn't I be with my Teddy? Sheâs so little yet carries so much anger within her. Obviously, this isnât just todayâs anger.)
Savisha fell silent, words failing her as the weight of the situation sank in. The rest of the group followed suit, their voices caught in their throats. No one could find the right words, their minds clouded with thoughts of what Ruhanika must have been through. Her anger earlier that day left everyone uneasy, a quiet worry settling over them as they realized how much it had affected her.
Kartavya: "Thik hai little sunshine??"
(Is our Little Sunshine okay now?)
Rudraksh: "Sar dard ho raha tha, so gayi hai."
(She had a headache and has gone to sleep.)
Rishwik: "bhai ye sab aapne jaan ke kiya na???"
(Bhai, you did all this on purpose, didnât you?)
Everyoneâs gaze shifted to Rudraksh, who, feeling the weight of their attention, relaxed into the moment. He leaned back against the headrest of the couch, his posture casual yet tensed.
Rudraksh: "Jab Ruhh mujhe sab bata rhi thi jis din use humari shadi ka sach pata chala usi waqt uski aakhon me gussa dekha tha aur samajh gaya ki bahaut kuch andar hi daba rakha hai usne."
(The day Ruhi told me everything after learning the truth about our marriage, I saw anger in her eyes and realized she had bottled up a lot inside her.)
Rudraksh closed his eyes, trying to find a moment of peace, but as soon as he did, Ruhanika's angry face flashed before him once again. The image of her frustration lingered in his mind, intensifying his worry.
Rudraksh: "phir pata chala Ashvik aur Ruhhh ka rishta, toh dimaag me aaya ki Ashvik ko zara bhi control nahi hai apne gusse pe toh Ruhh ko kaise"
(Then I learned about Ashvik and Ruhiâs relationship. The thought crossed my mind that if Ashvik has no control over his anger, how could Ruhi...)
Kritika: "It's actually strange bhai, Ashvik bhai ko sach me khud ke gusse pe kabu nahi hai toh Ruhi ko kaise??"
(Itâs actually strange, Bhai. Ashvik Bhai has no control over his temper, so how does Ruhi manage?)
Rudraksh: "Kyuki use kabhi apne emotions dikhane diya hi nahi hai aur ab inhi sab cheezo ka darr hai Ruhh ke andar. Balcony me bhi jaane se darti thi par ab nahi."
(Because she was never allowed to show her emotions, and now thatâs exactly what Ruhi fears. She was even scared of going to the balcony, but not anymore.)
Kartavya: "Hume bas Little sunshine ke man se darr ko nikalna hai so that vo khud ko aur achche se express kar paye."
(We just need to remove the fear from Little Sunshineâs mind so that she can express herself better.)
Rishwik: "Still, she proved today that she comes from a royal family and has royal blood running through her veins."
Savisha couldnât help but keep her gaze fixed on Ashvik, sensing that something was amiss. She watched him closely, her intuition telling her that he was up to something. Without a word, she gently reached out and caressed Ashvik's cheek.
Savisha: "Ashu?? Kya soch raha hai??"
(Ashu? What are you thinking?)
Ashvik suddenly stood up, his body tensing as a storm of anger clouded his features. His expression was a mix of fury and something more calculating, a cunning glint in his eyes that made it clear he was plotting something.
Ashvik: "Rudraksh sun"
(Rudraksh, listen...)
Rudraksh: "Vahi hoga jo tune socha hai, kal se hi start karenge."
(What youâre thinking will happen. Weâll start tomorrow.)
Rishwik: "thoda jaldi hi nahi ho jayega?? I mean thoda time Dena chahiye"
(Isnât it a bit too soon? I mean, shouldnât we give it some time?)
Amandeep: "Sir, exhaustion ho jayega mentally prepare bhi hona padta hai."
(Sir, thereâs a risk of exhaustion. She needs to be mentally prepared as well.)
Kartavya: "sab ho jayega chinta mat karo tum log, ab shuru hoga asli khel."
(Everything will be fine; donât worry, guys. Now the real game begins.)
Kritika: "But kaise matlab there's a lot of things sab kaise manage karenge??"
(But how will we manage everything? Thereâs so much to handle.)
Rudraksh: "Vo main dekh lunga par ab hoga toh yahi."
(Iâll take care of it, but itâs going to happen now.)
Savisha facepalmed in frustration, unable to contain her irritation at the indirect way they were speaking. While she understood exactly what was going on, it still annoyed her every time these siblings danced around the truth like this. With a sharp exhale, she stood up, her eyes narrowing as she glared at all of them, her patience running thin.
Savisha: "Chup ekdum, baitho saree apni jagah pe."
(Quiet, everyone. Sit down in your places.)
Kartavya: "Mahiye s..."
Savisha: "Kaha na baithiye jagah pe toh baithiye Avya."
(When I say sit down, just sit down, Avya.)
Kartavya slowly sank back into his seat, his silence speaking volumes. He knew better than to try and intervene when his wife was upset. It was futile to speak, especially when she was in this moodâhe understood it was best to wait for the storm to pass.
Savisha: j"itni jaldi karne ki zarurat hai utna karo, par parso karwachauth hai jo hoga uske baad hi hoga samjhe sare??"
(Do everything that needs to be done quickly, but remember, Karwachauth is the day after tomorrow. Whatever happens will happen after that. Got it?)
Kartavya: "Mana karunga toh manogi??"
(What if I say no? Will you listen?)
Savisha: "Aaj Tak maani hu??"
(Have I ever listened before?)
Kartavya simply shook his head with a fond smile, his eyes softening as he looked at his wife. Over the years, he had come to embrace the tradition of Karwachauth, no longer seeing it as a burden. In fact, he cherished the fact that every year, both of them fasted for each other, strengthening their bond. Savisha sat beside him, and without a word, he pulled her into a comforting side hug, his gesture speaking of warmth and quiet understanding.
Rudraksh: "Bhabhi please aap Ruhh ko ye mat bataiyega, vo zidd karegi fast rakhne ka. Vaise hi itni patli hai aur...."
(Bhabhi, please donât tell Ruhi about this, or sheâll insist on fasting. Sheâs already so thin, and...)
Rudraksh glanced at Savisha, who met his gaze with a sheepish smile, her expression a mix of playfulness and subtle apology.
Rudraksh: "Bhabhi??"
Savisha: "Vo Ruhii ko zyada nahi matlab vo thoda sa pata hai."
(Well... Ruhi might already know a little bit about it.)
Rudraksh: "Bhabhi yaar, ab jaan khayegi vo meri"
(Bhabhi, she'll eat my head now)
Ashvik: "Meri behen teri jaan khati hai"
(My sister troubles your life, does she?)
Ashvik shot a sharp glare at Rudraksh. In response, Rudraksh rolled his eyes, a clear sign of his irritation.
Rudraksh: "Rakhne du usne fast??"
(Should I let her fast?)
Ashvik: "Bilkul nahi, itni choti si hai meri behen kahi chakkar vakkar aa gaya toh, nahi nahi tu khud apne liye fast rakh aur meri behen ke liye bhi, itna hatta katta hai itna toh kar hi sakta hai."
(Absolutely not. My sister is so little, and what if she faints or something? No way. You fast for her and yourself. Youâre strong enough to do that.)
Rudraksh shot a hard glare at Ashvik, his patience wearing thin with the endless nonsense. His eyes narrowed, clearly irritated by the constant blabbering.
Rudraksh: "Chup kar nalayak."
(Shut up, you idiot.)
Ashvik made a few exaggerated faces at Rudraksh, his expression one of playful defiance, before Rudraksh shifting his gaze towards Kartavya.
Rudraksh: "Aur bhai aap yaar aap sabse pehle ye Dadu ko sambhalo yaar bhai bulao unko vapas atleast unke sar se meri shadi ka fitoor utrega"
(And Bhai, first of all, handle Dadu. Call him back. At least his obsession with my marriage will ease.)
Everyone couldn't help but chuckle at Rudraksh, knowing all too well how relentless their grandfather had been in pushing him toward marriage. The teasing laughter filled the air as they exchanged knowing glances.
Rishwik: "Dadu ko bula lo bhai, maza aayega vo ab Ashvik bhai ke piche padenge."
(Bhai, call Dadu back. Itâll be fun. Heâll go after Ashvik Bhai now.)
Ashvik, unable to hold back his playful mischief, grabbed a cushion and tossed it straight at Rishwikâs face. The soft impact was followed by a burst of laughter from the group, as Rishwik blinked in surprise, trying to dodge the sudden attack.
Ashvik: "Sidhe bol tujhe Tera number lagana hai. ?"
(Just say you want your turn to be next.)
Rudraksh turned his gaze toward Rishwik, his eyes filled with curiosity and a hint of mischief. Rishwik, feeling the weight of the stare, gulped nervously, unsure of what Rudraksh was about to say or do next.
Rishwik: "Nahi bhai ye Ashvik bhai bas bakwas karte hai."
(No, Bhai. Ashvik Bhai is just talking nonsense.)
Rudraksh: "Better."
Rishwik gulped in fear, his unease evident as he met Rudraksh's gaze. However, Rudraksh smirked playfully, clearly enjoying the moment and teasing him. The realization hit Rishwik a second too late, and as the group burst into laughter, he pouted, crossing his arms in mock indignation.
Rishwik: "Ja raha hu main, jab dekho mere piche Lage rehte hai."
( Iâm leaving. You guys are always after me.)
Amandeep: "Lo ise attention do toh bhi issue nahi do toh bhi issue"
(If you give him attention, itâs a problem; if you donât, itâs still a problem.)
Rishwik: "Aaj pitega tu mujhse pakka, bahaut bolta hai"
(Youâre definitely getting beaten up today. You talk too much.)
Amandeep: "Ha jaise tu toh bahaut chup rehta hai na"
(Oh, like you donât talk too much?)
Rishwik, not one to back down, grabbed a cushion and hurled it at Amandeepâs face. Without missing a beat, Amandeep retaliated, throwing a cushion right back at Rishwik. In an instant, a playful battle broke out, the two of them tossing cushions back and forth, laughter and playful shouts filling the air as they playfully fought, the tension of earlier moments forgotten in the chaos.
Rishwik: "Aaj Teri haddiya todunga"
(Iâll break your bones today!)
Amandeep: "Aur main tera dimaag thikane lagaunga, ruk tu."
(And Iâll knock some sense into you. Wait and watch.)
The two of them continued their playful fight, running outside with cushions in hand, their laughter echoing as they went. The sight of Amandeep letting loose like this was rare, and it only happened with Rishwik, as they were close in age and had that special bond. The others watched with amusement, chuckling at their antics, knowing how much it meant to see Amandeep open up and enjoy the moment. It was a side of him few got to witness, and they all appreciated the lighthearted break from the usual tension.
Kritika: "Ahh bhai's mujhe london vapas jaana hoga, I'm not able to handle everything from here."
(Ahh, brothers. Iâll have to return to London. I canât handle everything from here.)
Rudraksh: "Areh but Kritii bachcha abhi toh aayi thi."
(But Kriti, sweetheart, you just got here.)
Kritika: "Haa bhai but jaana hoga."
(Yes, Bhai, but I have to go.)
Kartavya: "I know tujhe zarurat hai abhi aur main aa bhi jaunga but kuch time ke liye mujhe bhi jaana hoga."
(I understand youâre needed there, and Iâll come too, but for a while, I also need to stay here.)
Savisha: "Isiliye hum soch rahe the ki Karwachauth ke baad hum vapas chale jaye London."
(Thatâs why we were thinking of going back to London after Karwachauth.)
Ashvik and Rudraksh's smiles fading as a quiet sadness washed over them.
Ashvik: "Itna sab decide karke ab bata rahe ho aap log."
(You decided all this and are telling us now?)
Savisha walked over to Ashvik, sensing the change in his mood. She gently placed her hand on his shoulder.
Savisha: "Toh tum jaldi se Akshavi ko dulhan bana ke le aao yaha toh hum vapas aa jayenge."
(Then hurry up and bring Akshavi as a bride here so we can return sooner.)
Ashvik: "Rishi, Ruk main bhi aa raha hu."
(Rishi, wait. Iâm coming too.)
Ashvikâs face turned a deep shade of red, and before anyone could tease him further, he bolted from the room at lightning speed, leaving everyone in stitches. Laughter filled the air as they watched him flee, knowing how easy it was to embarrass him. Soon after, everyone returned to their rooms to have lunch, settling into the rhythm of the day.
Meanwhile, Rudraksh entered his room with the lunch he had brought for himself and Ruhanika. He smiled softly when he saw her still peacefully asleep. Placing their lunch on the tea table in front of the couch, he walked over to her side, gently sitting beside her on the bed. He tenderly caressed her head, a loving gesture that showed how much he cherished these quiet, intimate moments with her.
Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, betu utho ab."
(Ruhhh, baby, wake up now.)
Ruhanika fluttered her eyes open, her lashes brushing against her cheeks as she slowly began to stir. Rudraksh, noticing the small marks on her hand left by Kashmira, gently lifted her sleeve to inspect them. He saw that the marks had nearly faded, a sign that his care and the ointment he had applied were working. A wave of relief washed over him. After carefully pulling her sleeve back down, he softly shook her again, a little more insistently this time, trying to wake her up.
Rudraksh: "Jaana get up now, lunch kar lo yaar bhukh lagi hogi na."
(Come on, get up. Have lunch; you must be hungry, right?)
Ruhanika groaned softly as she slowly opened her eyes, still feeling the weight of her earlier anger. Rudraksh noticed that her eyes were still slightly red, a reminder of the emotions she had gone through. His heart ached at the sight, but when she gave him a small smile, it brought some comfort to him. She gently held her head, likely feeling the remnants of headache. Rudraksh moved closer, supporting her as he helped her sit up.
Rudraksh: "betu abhi bhi sar dard hai??"
(Dear, Headache is still there)
Ruhanika: "Nahi ji bas halka sa hai."
(No, just a slight headache now.)
Rudraksh: "Achcha main dobara massage kar dunga, tum aao pehle khana kha lo."
(Okay, Iâll give you another massage, but come and eat first.)
Ruhanika gently held Rudrakshâs hand, her fingers clasping his with a quiet need for reassurance. She looked into his eyes, her gaze soft yet full of unspoken emotions.
Ruhanika: "Vo aap sach me humse gussa nahi hai na??"
(You're really not upset with me, are you?)
Rudraksh gently caressed Ruhanika's cheek with his other hand, his touch tender and soothing.
Rudraksh: "Main tumse gussa kyu hounga Ruhh??"
(Why would I be upset with you, Ruhh?)
Ruhanika: "Ghar aaye mehman ke sath batameezi ki hai humne, aur aise nahi karna chahiye na"
(I was rude to the guest, and that's not the right thing to do, is it?)
Rudraksh: "Betu tumne kuch galat nahi kiya hai aur Mehman agar apne daire se bahar jaye toh unke sath yahi karna chahiye."
(Baby, you didnât do anything wrong. If a guest crosses their boundaries, they deserve to be put in their place.)
Ruhanika: "Humne bahaut koshish ki par hum nahi rok paye khud hume na jaane itna gussa kaise aa gaye par hum kya kare vo bahaut galat galat keh rahi thi aapke bare me. "
(I tried really hard, but I just couldnât control myself. I donât know how I got so angry. But what could I do? She was saying such terrible things about you.)
Rudraksh smiled softly at Ruhanika, his expression filled with warmth and affection. The smile was gentle, full of understanding, and it spoke volumes of the love and care he had for her.
Rudraksh: "Koi baat nahi hai Jaan, jo ho gaya so ho gaya bhul jao use. Aur chalo ab khana khane."
(Itâs okay, sweetheart. Let it go. Whatâs done is done. Now come on, letâs eat.)
Rudraksh was about to stand up, but before he could move, Ruhanika gently stopped him, her hand on his arm. He raised his eyebrows in curiosity, his gaze questioning. Ruhanika, a little embarrassed, gave him a sheepish smile, the corners of her lips turning up in a playful, yet guilty way. Rudraksh couldnât help but smile knowingly, his suspicion growing. He could tell she had done something, and the mischievous glint in her eyes only confirmed it.
Rudraksh: "Ruhhh kya kiya hai tumne??"
(Ruhhh, what did you do?)
Ruhanika: "Voo ahhh vo Jo humne unhe... Ummm"
(Umm, ahh, the thing I said to her...)
Rudraksh: "Betuuu???"
Rudrakshâs voice took on a suspicious tone as he asked. His gaze remained fixed on her, a hint of amusement mixed with curiosity. Ruhanika, caught in the moment, lowered her head slightly, her cheeks flushing as she tried to hide her smile.
(The thing about her forgetting to wear leggings under her kurti⦠I said that on purpose because I didnât like her, and she was about to hug you. Even though I know now that itâs just modern fashionâKriti Didi told me that.)
Rudraksh stared at Ruhanika for a few seconds. Then, suddenly, he broke into laughter, the sound warm and genuine. Ruhanika, still a little confused, looked at him with furrowed brows, unsure of what had just happened. She tilted her head slightly, trying to understand what had made him laugh.
Ruhanika: "Has kyu rahe hai aap??"
(Why are you laughing?)
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, ohhhooo my Ruhh was jealous ha."
Ruhanika pouted in annoyance, her lips curving into a small, playful frown as she crossed her arms.
Ruhanika: "Ha toh ab koi aur aise aapke pass aayegi toh hume bura toh lagega na, jab ki aap toh sirf humare hai na, aise kisi aur ke pati ke kareeb jaana thik baat thodi hai."
(Yes, well, if someone else comes so close to you, itâll upset me, wonât it? After all, youâre only mine. Itâs not right for someone elseâs husband to be that close to them.)
Rudrakshâs laughter faded as he looked at Ruhanika, his gaze softening into an admiring haze. Though she had said a lot, in that moment, all he could hear was the simple truth that he belonged to her, and that thought warmed his heart more than anything else. He became lost in the depth of her beautiful eyes, the connection between them growing even stronger. Ruhanika, noticing the silence and not receiving a response, frowned in slight frustration. She waved her hand in front of his face, trying to snap him out of his daze.
Ruhanika: "Kaha kho gaye aap??"
(Where are you lost?)
Rudraksh: "Kahi nahi, aur tumhe jealous hone ki zarurat nahi hai betu, haa main sirf tumhara hi hu, aur chalo ab khana kha lo kab se aisi hi ho."
(Nowhere, and you donât need to be jealous, baby. Yes, Iâm only yours. Now come on, eat something already.)
Rudraksh stood up, breaking free from his trance, and extended his hand toward Ruhanika with a gentle smile. He held her hand softly, offering his support to help her stand up.
Ruhanika: "Thik hai par phir aisa hi karenge agar koi ladki aise aapke pass aayegi toh."
(Fine, but Iâll do the same if another girl gets close to you.)
Rudraksh chuckled softly, his eyes gleaming with amusement as he gently placed his hands on Ruhanika's shoulders from behind. With a playful glint in his gaze, he started guiding her towards the couch, giving her a light push.
Rudraksh: "Jaise aap kahe Mallika-e-Aksh."
(As you wish, Mallika-e-Aksh.)
Both settled comfortably on the couch, and Rudraksh began feeding Ruhanika with a gentle smile. He carefully picked up a bite for her, bringing it closer to her lips as he waited for her to take it. As he fed himself as well, his movements were easy and natural, a quiet moment of intimacy shared between them. Ruhanika, feeling the warmth of his care, smiled softly, appreciating how he always knew how to make her feel loved and cherished.
Rudraksh: "Aur haa, mujhe pata hai tumhare Karwachauth ke bare me aur Khabardar jo koi fast rakha tumne toh."
(And yes, I know about your Karva Chauth plan, and donât you dare keep any fasts.)
Ruhanika: "Hum rakhenge vrat, hume bhabhi sa ne bataya hai har shadi shuda ladki ye vrat rakhti hai, bhabhi sa bhi rakhne wali hai"
(I will keep the fast. Bhabhi-sa told me every married woman keeps it, and sheâs also going to.)
Rudraksh: "Baaki ladkiyon ka mujhe nahi pata, tum nahi rakhogi, apne aap ko dekho sukh ke kaata huyi padi ho"
(I donât care about other women. Youâre not keeping it. Just look at yourself; youâre already so thin.)
Ruhanika: "Ye aap na har waqt humare badan ke baare me jo bolte rehte hai, ek baar khud ko bhi dekhiye na, aap bhi toh patle se hai, pet dekha hai aapne apna?? Kitna kadak hai."
(Youâre always commenting about my body. Have you looked at yourself? Youâre just as slim. Have you seen your stomach? Itâs so hard.)
Rudraksh chuckled softly as he placed another morsel of food in Ruhanikaâs mouth, his eyes filled with affection.
Rudraksh: "Those are abs Ruhh, mehnat se banaye hai maine."
(Those are abs, Ruhh. Iâve worked hard for them.)
Ruhanika: "Hume nahi pata vo, hum toh aapko khila pila ke tandurust banayenge."
(I donât know about that, but Iâm going to feed you and make you healthier.)
Rudraksh chuckled again, shaking his head with a soft smile, clearly amused by Ruhanika's reaction.
Rudraksh: "Thik hai bana dena, par tum vrat nahi rakhogi."
(Fine, go ahead, but youâre not keeping the fast.)
Ruhanika: "Hum rakhenge"
(I will.)
Rudraksh: "Nahi rakhogi"
(No, you wonât.)
Ruhanika: "Rakhenge"
(I will.)
Rudraksh: "Nahi Ruhhh"
(No Ruhh)
Ruhanika: "Akshhhh"
Ruhanika tilted her head slightly, her eyes softening as she spoke in an incredibly sweet voice. Rudraksh closed his eyes for a brief moment, feeling the warmth of her words wash over him. The way she called him, the softness of her voice, and the sincerity behind it made his heart melt every time. He took a deep breath, trying to compose himself, but the way she had him wrapped around her finger was undeniable.
Rudraksh: "Betuuuu yaar"
(Betuuu, come on!)
Ruhanika: "hum vrat rakhenge na Akshhh"
(I will keep the fast, Akshhh.)
Rudraksh: "Okay finee"
Ruhanika grinned playfully, enjoying the effect her words had on him. Seeing Rudraksh sigh, clearly trying to maintain some composure, only made her smile widen. She loved how easily she could make him react, and she reveled in the lightheartedness of the moment. Rudraksh, with a soft sigh, placed the plates on the tea table, his gaze lingering on her for a moment longer than necessary. He leaned back slightly, a fond smile tugging at his lips as he looked at her.
Rudraksh: "Mrs. Malhotra, ye din bhar din bahaut shaitan hoti ja rahi hai aap."
(Mrs. Malhotra, youâre getting naughtier by the day.)
Ruhanika moved closer to Rudraksh.
Ruhanika: "shaitani ka hume nahi pata par haa, Aapki Mallika-e-Aksh ko ye samajh aa gaya hai ki unke Akshh, apni Mallika-e-Aksh se Akshh naam sunte hi pighal jaate hai."
( I donât know about being naughty, but your Mallika-e-Aksh has figured out that her Akshhh melts the moment he hears his name from her.)
Rudraksh pressed his lips together, trying to suppress the smile that threatened to spread across his face. The way Ruhanika had referred to herself as his had a certain possessive sweetness to it that tugged at his heart. It was a subtle but powerful reminder of the bond they shared, and he couldnât help but feel a rush of warmth.
Ruhanika: "Bataiye hai na hum samajhdaar."
(Tell me, am I clever or not?)
Rudraksh pulled Ruhanika closer, his hand gently sliding to her waist as he held her with a sense of protectiveness and tenderness. The proximity between them sent a wave of warmth over him, and the softness of her presence filled the space around them.
Rudraksh: "Samajhdar nahi meri Mallika-e-Aksh Chalaak ho gayi hai."
(Not clever, but my Mallika-e-Aksh has become cunning.)
Ruhanika: "Toh hume aisa nahi hona tha kya??"
(So, was I not supposed to be like this?)
Rudraksh chuckled softly, his breath warm against her skin as he placed his forehead gently on hers.
Rudraksh: "Back to my Ruhh."
Ruhanika: "Jiiii?"
(What??)
Rudraksh gently cupped Ruhanika's face in his hands, his thumb lightly brushing over her soft skin.
Rudraksh: "Nahi Ruhh, tumhe jaisa hona hai tum ho jao, kyuki mujhe toh tum kaise bhi pasand ho."
(No, Ruhh, you be however you want to be because I love you the way you are.)
Rudraksh rubbed his nose gently against hers, his touch playful yet filled with affection. His eyes twinkled as he whispered. Ruhanika smiled, her heart fluttering at the simple, intimate gesture.
Ruhanika: "Ab na hum bahaut utsuk hai, humara pehla tyohar hai na aapke sath."
(Now Iâm really excitedâitâs our first festival together, after all.)
Rudraksh: "Haan ji Meri Rajkumari ji, vo tyohar jiske liye aapne zabardasti mujhe manaya hai."
(Yes, my princess. The festival you convinced me to celebrate with you.)
Ruhanika: "Matlab aap khush nahi hai??"
(Does that mean youâre not happy?)
Ruhanika lowered her head, pouting slightly. Rudraksh, unable to resist the adorable sight, gently cupped her face in his hands, lifting it up so their eyes met once more. With a soft chuckle, he leaned in and planted a tender peck on her pout, his lips brushing against her with a warmth that sent a rush of sweetness through the moment. Ruhanika's cheeks turned a soft shade of pink as she felt the gentle kiss, her heart fluttering at the intimacy of it.
Rudraksh: "Nautanki band karo, sab pata hai mujhe."
(Stop the drama. I know everything.)
Ruhanika giggled softly.
Ruhanika: "Aap kaise jaan jate hai sab humare Rajkumar ji??"
(How do you always know everything, my prince?)
Rudraksh: "Bas jaan jaate hai meri Rajkumari ji"
(I just do, my princess.)
Both Ruhanika and Rudraksh looked at each other, their gazes locking in a moment of pure joy. They couldnât help but laugh together, the sound of their giggles blending in the air as they shared the simple, yet special moment.
Ruhanika: "sab ne khana kha liya??"
(Has everyone eaten?)
Rudraksh: "ji My yellow"
(Yes my princess.)
Ruhanika: "Hum aate hai ye plates niche rakh ke."
(Iâll go take these plates downstairs.)
Rudraksh nodded, watching Ruhanika as she took the utensils and left the room. His gaze followed her, a soft smile playing on his lips.
Rudraksh: "Mujhe tum aisi hi masoom aur naadan bahaut pasand ho betu... but I'm sorry Ruhh par ab tumhe badalna hoga, tumhare liye, Mere liye, Ashvik ke liye badalna hoga Jaana."
(I love you just as you are, innocent and naïve, baby⦠But Iâm sorry, Ruhh. Youâll have to change nowâfor yourself, for me, and for Ashvik.)
